- Hans (8/5): - Ontbijt werd wat laat geserveerd en was alleen engels. Iets eerder het ontbijt serveren
- Sue (10/5): - It was very easy to arrange and the property matched the details on your site
- Tanya (8/5): A last minute find and it was a good place to stay. Location, staff and breakfast lovely. - The staff were exceptional, room size good, location was fab and the breakfast was lovely.
Really enjoyed our stay at Selsey. I thought that the £25 charge for a dog was a bit steep especially as we didn't get anything for it as when we have stayed at places before for same additional charge we received a bowl, treats etc.

- Ian (10/5): A Fabulous Place to Stay to Explore the Local Area. I Loved it Here. - I loved everything about my short stay at The Selsey Arms. It is a lovely place. the Staff are Wonderful and the Breakfast and Evening Meals were Superb.
- Gary (7/5): A - Staff were very friendly and the breakfast was the. The WiFi did not work in the room (out of signal range). and the television was not working either.
- Daniel (4/5): Great location, but whole place needs attention, certainly not worth £130 per night - Good location, friendly, accommodating and helpful staff Quite grubby and very tired looking throughout establishment. In the pub light bulbs missing, all clocks were stopped or broken, table lamps on every table either not working or not charged and tables were sticky. Breakfast was disappointing
- Rob (10/5): A nice night away - Everything , staff were brilliant, food was amazing and the room was nice and comfy Nothing
- Jonathan (8/5): Great stay. - Lovely country pub and good accommodation

- jacqueline (9/5): Good friendly location ideal for access to Goodwood - Friendly welcome, my room was on the second floor, very cozy, excellent shower and lots of choices of drinks that I could make in the room. Very peaceful area, woke up to the sound of birds.
I had a very tasty full English Breakfast with great coffee.
Good location for Goodwood and easy to get an Uber Nothing
- Jo (8/5): Short stay but ver comfortable and staff very helpful. Brisket dinner was superb and highly recommended. - Great location for cycling / walking in the South Downs. Nothing really

- Gillian (9/5): Overall a great stay with great people and a short taxi ride to our evening venue - The breakfast was good and catered for gluten free diet, all staff were very helpful , personable and accommodating. The fish and chip dinner was great and gluten free too! Good parking and a nice sunny space to sit outside . Overall great. Thank you. More milk in room we only had one sachet ,TV we couldnt get to work at all no matter how we tried to get a channel. The bathroom was a little tired.
- Matthew (9/5): -
- Jackie (9/5): - Quality & choice of food, lovely room & comfortable bed, excellent value for money especially as breakfast was included, countryside location & all managed exceptionally well by Jacob & his team who were very friendly & welcoming- nothing too much trouble. Great find!
- Samantha (10/5): Great stay - We stayed 2 nights here and ate in the restaurant both evenings. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast each morning was delicious, as were the evening meals, although these were a little too generous in size for our appetites. Good selection of gluten free dishes, chips cooked in dedicated gluten free fryer, great gluten free fish and chips!
Jacob was an excellent and accommodating host.
- Needham (5/5): - Breakfast was very good Expensive for a very basic room
- Katrina (10/5): Pleasant - Breakfast superb, staff very helpful and friendly The price was a lot for one night
- Karen (4/5): Beautiful area, but will not be returning to this establishment - Loved the location. Very comfy bed. Liked own door to outside. Great to have a bath. Cleanliness was poor, almost asked for products to do it myself.
Breakfast was disappointing, would have liked to be able to have hot drink and juice but only offered one or the other. No fruit offering, no yoghurts and only offered cereal or hot menu, not both.
Staff where polite but seemed very inexperienced and somewhat clueless.... took 3 attempts at getting the correct key to the room we booked, and they only had 5.
- ANTHONY (8/5): Very comfortable and excellent food as expected - Food was excellent Complicated television operation
- David (8/5): A peaceful location within easy reach of many interesting places to visit. - Clean large room with good facilities. Very good and varied choice for breakfast.
- Aude (6/5): -
- Sophie (10/5): - Absolute perfect combination of wonderful staff, gorgeous food, luxury room set in a beautiful countryside... Which was visible when I had breakfast. I'd love to stay here again ❤️ Absolutely nothing.
- Anu (10/5): Great location, super food, best hospitality and comfortable rooms - Clean and well presented. It was a basic room with no frills but everything one wanted or might need was there. Tea/coffee facility, fan, heater, hair dryer, tv, etc. the bathrooms were nice. Overall a comfortable room, was great. The rural location added to the tranquil surroundings and we didn’t miss having the padded head boards or plush interiors. Nothing really wrong with the facilities.
- Emma (10/5): Amazing - The welcome and accommodation were fantastic. The breakfast was absolutely amazing! We will definitely be coming back again.
- Suzy (6/5): Was perfect for our trip - Perfect location and amazing breakfast Our room was boiling on arrival and difficult to cool down without propping the door open
- Natasha (10/5): Great little b&b - Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and the bed was clean and very comfortable. Lots of parking.

- Alison (10/5): - Easy to find with plenty of parking, arrived early but wasn’t a problem shown to our room by the landlady which was larger than expected with plenty of room it was of a high standard very fresh looking and clean! Extra pillows found , and had a selection of tea and coffees and had delish quality biscuits! Bathroom was a good size with fresh smelling towels ready and good quality shower gel and conditioner
Evening meal and breakfast were of a high standard
A very pleasant relaxed atmosphere where nothing was too much trouble x
Would book again if ever we return to visit friends in Midhurst

- Christopher (10/5): - A very clean and comfortable hotel with a good menu and huge breakfasts.
Good location and straightforward drive into Chichester for a visit to the theatre.
- Liz (8/5): A Friendly, comfortable pub with great food. - Friendly and comfortable. Our room was a good size. There was a very quiet fan which was useful as the room was very warm. The shower was powerful with loads of hot water. There was a great choice at breakfast and, like dinner which we had there both evening during our stay, the food was freshly cooked and hot. It was a great place to stay for visiting the Weald and Downland Living Museum and West Dean Gardens.
- Sue (9/5): -
- Neil (8/5): Lovely quiet pub. - We chose the Selsey Inn for it’s location adjacent the Centurion Way and because breakfast was included.
The staff were very welcoming and the room was comfy. The food was excellent and the portions were generous. The pub itself was quiet, we were there Thursday and Friday.
The only downside was the floor of the room above Room 3 was very creaky.
- Stewart (8/5): Friendly and well located pub - Pleasant two night stay at a comfortable and friendly pub. We only ate breakfast at the property but this was excellent and with friendly service.
Very convenient for Chichester - 10 minute drive to the large car park by the Festival Theatre. Traffic noise from the road was not noticeable as the rooms are set back from the main road behind the main building. The pub is opposite the Centurion Way - a footpath along the old railway line between Chichester and Midhurst.
- George (8/5): -

- Stefan (9/5): Perfect pitstop on our FOS trip. - Breakfast was great!
The location is perfect if you are visiting an event in Goodwood!
Staff very friendly!
Room and furnishing in great order - seem recently refurbished or kept-up exceptionally well. An AC woudl have been good, but realise the weather is rearly so hot as it was during our stay, so maybe not justified ovwerall.
Atleast the room had cross-ventilation so not as bad as the next night on the same trip in a different hotel.
- Claire (10/5): Fantastic highly recommended - Fantastic location for the Goodwood Festival of Speed we stayed for one night as we were attending FOS on Thursday Perfect stay staff so friendly lovely accommodation excellent food in the restaurant

- Suzuko (8/5): Very good -
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional -
- James (10/5): Friendly and warm lodging - Friendly staff, comfortable beds, and great food await you here. Ruby the dog too. My only complaint is minor. I wish the WiFi worked in the room. It only works in the pub. That of course forced me to enjoy a nice cider while in the pub.
- Philip (8/5): - Lovely old pub with nice rooms in beautiful countryside
- Nicholas (10/5): - Lovely old place and very friendly people.
- Marie (7/5): Good - It was a beautiful pub and a great location. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The homemade food dinner and breakfast were delicious .

- Terry (9/5): Superb -
- Simon (4/5): complicated - Location is good - nice quiet room My main issue is that the price that I thought it was when I booked wasnt what I had to pay - I booked it at GBP 195 and had to pay GBP 229 when I checked in - apart from that it was OK - but wont stay again
- Dominic (10/5): Exceptional -
- Metasys (6/5): Pleasant -
- Wendy (9/5): Superb -
- Verified traveler (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay. Clean and comfortable rooms, lovely staff and a delicious breakfast!
- Rachael (10/5): - Stayed here one night as I was attending a wedding down the road at Farbridge. The property, room and facilities were all lovely. Comfy bed, nice fluffy towels and the room had everything you could need. Plenty of parking and nice garden. The staff were welcoming, including Ruby the dog, and the breakfast was amazing! And very nice to have my gluten intolerance accommodated for at breakfast too. My only slight negative is the price but it was perfect location and only a 20 min walk to the venue (3 min drive).
- J (8/5): A comfortable stay within easy reach of Chichester. - Breakfast was excellent - freshly cooked to order.
Staff were very friendly and made us welcome. VERY noisy floorboard creaking from the room above, starting at 6.00 a.m.
Wine in restaurant very expensive.

- Josephine (8/5): Very good -
- Lee (6/5): - Was an ok place to stay but not great. Room was mostly ok, bathroom needed some TLC. Biggest complaint was the breakfast. Crockery and cutlery hadn't been cleaned properly. Food was not served hot. Was just an ok place...
- Gp (10/5): Best night's sleep I have had! - Very friendly staff, comfortable bed and very clean room. Regrettably, this venue does not accept American Express, despite Booking.com stating otherwise. Due to our company's policy, we will not be able to stay here again, which is quite unfortunate.

- Lesleyann (10/5): The overall attentiveness of staff was brilliant. They made our stay by providing the best service one can ask for. Than - The beautiful characteristics within the whole building were stunning. The bedrooms are extremely spacious, cosy, and all small details were thought off providing a well stocked hot drinks station, water bottles, shower supplies, a hairdryer and a full length mirror which was the cherry on top. The hospitality from staff was fabulous! The food is so delicious and the menu had lots of choice. The garden courtyard was lovely and direct access to the carpark was a bonus. Nothing to fault here!
