Guest Reviews
- Michelle (10/5): - This was one of the best Inn’s we’ve stayed in. Elizabeth was so pleasant and warm and the room was perfect. I couldn’t find a single thing that I would have changed or I was not happy with. She has everything you need and it was so comfortable. The area is safe and close to everything.
- Erin (10/5): - Charming rooms, very unique decor, and quite comfortable. Excellent service, so friendly and thoughtful. Great neighborhood too!
- Michelle (10/5): - We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here during the fall; located in a nice neighbourhood and in walking distance to local shops and the city. We were well looked after and the apartment was beautifully decorated- a lot of thought had gone into every little detail. Staff were so attentive and friendly. Would definitely stay there again if we returned to Boston!
- William (8/5): - I did not stay at the Moroccan Hotel; they had a bldg emergency and moved my reservation to the Boston Wharf Hotel . My stay was excellent and many thanks to the Moroccan for accommodating the change and costs. They were very professional and apologize for the change. I truly enjoyed my stay!
- kelvin (10/5): Excellent Stay - I would stay here over the hotels anytime. The staff are there to assist with a friendly and sincerely attitude.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The house is gorgeous! The staff was friendly and accommodating. This was my first time staying at a bed & breakfast and it set the bar extremely high.
- Cathy (10/5): Moroccan luxury - The location of this Bed & Breakfast was ideal for me to be able to walk around, investigating the neighborhood. I loved the older homes; visited a couple of historic sites, and enjoyed local seafood. I stayed in one of the suites, which included a large, comfortable bed; fully stocked kitchen; sitting area, and clean bathroom. There was a lovely garden patio area for enjoying a good book or a cup of hot tea. The ladies manning the desk would quite helpful. I would stay here again.
- Matthew (10/5): Nice stay in Charlestown - Quirky but luxurious accommodation in a historical Boston neighborhood.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Quirky and super comfortable with really helpful staff. Reception stayed open late for our delayed arrival and full of helpful advice for our stay.
- Kirsten (10/5): Perfect Hideaway - Wonderful neighborhood location just blocks from Bunker Hill and the Freedom Trail. Easy access to the T and the hosts and space were amazing.
- Sally (10/5): - Very unique hotel with a great staff and comfortable accommodations. Close to The Constitution, Old Town Trolley stop and great restaurants.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Tout était parfait à l'hôtel. Seul petit bémol, le
stationnement public est loin.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Lovely unique spacious apartment, bit rickety in places but with heaps of charm. Breakfast ingredients provided, cosy living room to watch a late night dvd. Lovely comfy bed, good shower. Location pretty good too.
- Amie (10/5): Something different! - Amazing! Impeccable service, beautiful rooms, completely unique. Will stay here again! Truly luxurious comfortable bed!!!
- Richard (10/5): - Fantastic play to stay with a great quirky feel and very well located (a short walk from the Monument on Bunker Hill). Our room had a fab ante-room with sofas for chilling after long days walking around Boston; it also had a small balcony with table + 2 chairs overlooking a courtyard garden where we had breakfast each morning - a great way to start the day. We were given a continental breakfast (replenished each day while we were out) and could make our own coffee / tea etc. We would highly recommend this place if you enjoy something that isn't the standard hotel room but offers character, space and that something different
- Terry-n-Lindsay (10/5): - The entire experience was cozy and filled with little personal touches, from the exciting decor to the hand packed coffee service and treats. It was actually fun to go back to the room between our forays into Boston.
- Santiago (10/5): - Beautiful, well organized, amazing! Cool bohemian vibes in a classic, historic luxuriousv space. Bed was incredibly comfy too. Thanks!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This place is fantastic. We would have stayed longer if we could. It’s very comfortable, well appointed and the host is truly welcoming and helpful. Thoroughly recommended
- Jari (10/5): - A very pleasant stay. The room was not only personal but also very clean and well equipped. The bed was comfortable and the bath spacy and clean. The room has a small kitchennette, with a fridge, coffee maker and basic utensils. The neighbourhood is very quiet with some nice restaurants, and not too far from the downtown. The owner/manager Elizabeth is the most helpful and welcoming host, and keen to help. Would absolutely visit again.
- Carol (10/5): Amazing stay in individual property - We had an amazing stay in Boston at the Moroccan luxury Suites. It was wonderfully themed. The hosts were always there if needed and welcomed us in when we came back. The bed was the most comfortable we have stayed in during
our time in the USA. The breakfast was left in our room and was more than enough
to satisfy our appetites. The suites are in a nice area in Charlestown from where the downtown area could easily be reached by the subway or bus. Alternatively you can walk over the river in about 30 mins.
- Go4itgso (6/5): Mixed Comments - Upon arrival at the B&B we knocked on the door then rang the doorbell. With no one answering we called the phone no. listed with no luck. Luckily after 10 minutes one of the other gusts arrived and let us in. After a few minutes the male owner showed up and then proceeded to tell us the room was not ready, even though he knew what time we were going to arrive. For over 10 minutes he kept apologizing then asked us to come back in 30 minutes. We came back 40 minutes later and he again kept apologizing that the room was not ready. By now we were really getting frustrated, especially since he was not doing anything to finish preparing our room. He finally went upstairs and finished our room. When asked which subway to take to the North End, he had no idea. Breakfast is basically a continental w/items left in a small closet. If you are looking for a sit down breakfast, this is not the place for you. He asked us if we wanted orange juice for breakfast. Needless to say we did not get any OJ until the 2nd day, when his wife returned from her vacation. She went out of her way to take care of us. The room is small and tight for 2 persons. The bath was new and very nice w/plenty of hot h2o.The B&B is in a very old home so the floors slope. I personally did not like that each room has a padlock to lock the door. There r only 3 guest rooms the home.Recommend you ensure that the female owner is going to be present during your stay. The male owner should never interface w/guests.
- Kelly (10/5): Highly recommended - Really wonderful gem in Charlestown / Bunker Hill. Walkable to several restaurants, the Community College stop on the T orange line, grocery stores, Bunker Hill monument, and Naval Yard. We stayed in the Silk Road room; romantic and thoughtfully decorated with artifacts from the owner's own travels. Owner is around and attentive, and there are only 3 rooms on the property. Small kitchen is well stocked with breakfast and snack items daily.
- michael (10/5): Character, History and great hospitality - With a warm welcome and a very fond farewell our hostess Elizabeth and host Bill made our 3 days in Boston a memorable stay in this super city
Their caring attitude towards our well being from places to visit, transport and local eateries were most helpful
The 1799 house is presented full of character and hand chosen Moroccan antiques , whilst the bathroom is very modern .
The district Charlestown is full of history with the " Freedom Trail walk " being a highlite
Our hosts couldn't do enough for us and dietary requirements ( gluten free) were readily catered for.
Luggage storage on our last day was " no problem"
- Karen (10/5): Quaint and comfortable. - Wonderful, unique place - very cordial hosts. Historic, yet modern conveniences where it counts - gorgeous shower & bathroom amenities.
- Merikay (10/5): Very cool room and experience! Great location - We loved our stay at the Moroccan and it exceeded our expectations. Not your typical hotel room. Our innkeepers, Elizabeth and Bill, were so accommodating and welcoming. We would definitely stay here again if and when we travel to Boston.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Beautiful Suites - Wonderful accommodation in the upcoming Bunker Hill neighborhood. We were able to walk the Freedom Trail from our hotel to the historic North End of Boston. Great restaurants close by (don't miss Monument restaurant) 1 bulk from B&B. The rooms were fantastic, spacious bedroom and living room, with a well stocked kitchen. 3 stories, no elevator, but staff was helpful and moved bags to our room. Wish we could have stayed longer.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It was a pleasant experience. The staff was friendly and helpful.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great place - Very easy stay. Room was very comfy and they have the softest sheets ever!
- Leslie (10/5): Perfect place in Boston - My daughter & I loved our stay here! The owner was so great at communicating with me prior to our trip and all of the ladies who work at the house were so friendly and helpful - Marla, Nina & Maya. We loved our top floor suite with so many amenities!!! All the food & snacks in the kitchen and extra touches throughout our room were amazing!
The location was perfect - close to the "T" station and a trolley stop for the hop on & off trolley that goes around town. Also in a cute and safe neighborhood - absolutely loved everything about our stay. Wish we could have stayed longer for sure!!!
- Jayson F (10/5): MLK Weekend Stay - Moroccan Luxury Suites was a pleasant surprise. My girlfriend and I have never been to a bed and breakfast before this, so it was kind of a shot in the dark. What an amazing decision! The service was amazing. We didn't stove until after 10 when the office should have been closed, but Elizabeth abs Margaret were there to greet us and check us in. The next day, we asked if they had bagels included in the continental breakfast and no more than an hour after we asked, they brought bagels up to our room. Although we stayed in the smallest room of the 3, the room was still quite spacious, kept clean, and furnished beautifully. It was clear that Elizabeth had a keen eye for detail when designing everything. In all, Moroccan Luxury Suites is a hidden jewel in the city of Boston, and we will definitely be staying there again the next time we visit!
- Amanda (10/5): Amazing experience - My husband and I love to travel, and this B&B is by far our favorite. Elizabeth and Bill are both so kind and welcoming. It feels "homey" with a touch of luxury. So easy to relax in.
- Jacqueline (10/5): Luxury - Highly recommended...a little bit of luxury in Boston in a lovely area with fab resturants.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great little B+B - Loved it--great little B+B just over the river and a 10-min walk from the T. Was in a historic home, which was neat, but had the Morrocon motif so the room felt like with were staying in the tent of a Sheik. Bill and Elizabeth, the owners, were extremely friendly and welcoming. It was also very reasonable given Boston lodging prices.
- Sarah (10/5): A great find... - Very friendly, clean room, quiet neighbourhood, good breakfast. Well placed for local shops, bars and restaurants. Easy walking distance to 'T' stops and ferry. We stayed 2 nights and wished we were there longer! We'd definitely stay here again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Goodd value for the location - Good price for the location--both a nice neighborhood and within walking distance of TD Garden for a Game. Friendly, helpful staff, and some nice extras like free bottled water, milk, juice and pastries in the room, plus coffee and tea options. Nice shower!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great location, excellent staff, clean large room - Our flight was delayed and the manager setup a dinner at a local restaurant and made sure we were comfortable that evening. The next morning the staff helped us with information and made sure we happy the whole stay. Will return next time we are in Boston.
- Randle (10/5): Nice surprise - Shopped for a Boston hotel, found many overpriced options and this B&B. Great deal for the money. Amazing two-room suite, quiet area, a loaded pantry for breakfast or whenever, and my Uber ride downtown cost $8.
- Jerry (10/5): Couldn't have stayed at a more perfect place - We never visited Boston before and are so glad we stayed here. As a history buff, it is a short walk to the Bunker Hill site and is in a quaint area of Charlestown near shops and restaurants but it isn't nearly as expensive as the most places on the Boston side of the river. Still it's within a 15 minute walk to the Italian district and many of the tourist spots. The rooms had many small amenities that served us well. Elizabeth decorated the room impeccably and gave us a few insider tips about what to do and took care of requests involving taxis and chargers. This is infinitely better than staying in a large hotel and we are so glad we did.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - It's such a unique lovely hotel with so great art taste from the owner, also the owner is a very professional lady who take care of us very well, I hope she could have more hotels like this, she could do it great.
- John (10/5): Hidden Gem - This was an outstanding place. It's an out of the box place, but fantastic all around.
- Bruce (10/5): Perfection at a great price - If I said this room/hotel was perfect, it would be an understatement. From the moment we walked in Elizabeth was very helpful and even had a bottle of wine for us. The room was super cool and my fiancee absolutely loved it. The entire vibe from the room is relaxed, comforting, and it makes you feel like you are at a 5 star spa. The next time I am in Boston I am really hoping there is room at the Moroccan Luxury Suites.
Also to add, the price was insanely cheap for the quality and service here.
- DD (10/5): Quirky charmer - Different, quaint Moroccan themed older colonial in great area - Charlestown. Quiet and quite comfortable. Not for older folks with mobility issues. Super nice hosts.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very unique. Breath of fresh air compared to chains.
- Saysha (10/5): Classy and Quaint Made for Wonderful Stay - Elizabeth was very accommodating. Terrific little Bed and Breakfast type place. Luxurious sheets and towels. Well maintained. Classy details. Lots of charm. Five stars across the board except for location of neighborhood a little farther from many sites but close to Bunker Hill and end of Freedom Trail. Would highly recommend. For the price, I can't imagine a better value. Loved our stay!!
- MIchael (10/5): A Purple Gem in Charlestown. - This out if the mainstream location is perfect for a couple who want to get away from the busy city. Yet be close enough to get to the sights and sounds Boston has to offer. The owner of the establishment Elizabeth, went just over the top to bring us a most delightful experience. It was during the Jan 26 blizzard we arrive from Ukraine, hours before the city shut down. Elizabeth drove to the mall to purchase for our use robes and slippers as we had none, attention to us most unlikely received at any other accommodation. The flat was just perfect for waiting out the blizzard, plenty of firewood, food and a kitchen to cook. A short walk to the orange line gets you to the city. This is a definite place to stay, we will be returning.
- wallis (10/5): Person operating hotel was very nice + helpful - Very enjoyable lodging. Area of Boston was new to me but was very nice and made trip enjoyable.
- Lani (10/5): Fabulous luxury stay - I stayed four nights, by myself, after travelling with a group of 15 for 8 days. What a sublime restorative time I had in Boston. I slept in, read in bed and generally soaked up the home-like atmosphere. I loved the suite for its comfort, quirkiness, individuality, privacy, warmth, big bathroom, wine, breakfast, kitchenette, and supremely comfy king sized bed. Elizabeth was a friendly and helpful host, both during my stay and before it (sending emails with tourist info). If I ever go back to Boston I will DEFINITELY stay here.
- David (10/5): A wonderful place to stay - Charming beyond words, comfortable and reasonably priced (for Boston!).
- Kayvan (10/5): Great place run by very nice people - Except for the crowded hood and lack of public parking it was a great place, very comfortable and very welcoming. Fit with snacks, a bottle of wine, a rooftop patio and three nice spaces, I plan on staying again.
