- Sarah (4/5): - The carpet in the room we were assigned had been cleaned that day and was not dry under foot and the cleaning chemical smell was overwhelming. The Receptionist happily changed our room, but unfortunately the new room was really musty and uncomfortable to sleep in. We didn’t try a third room, just put up with the second room. This was our first night away of a three week trip and the first night ever at this brand of hotel. Not the best start for the trip, but luckily we hadn’t booked any more Candlewood Suites & will avoid going forward.

- Murel (10/5): Best extended stay in MWC - Several good restuarants close by. We had 4 night stay and I must say the bed was by far the best I have ever slept on. I have back, shoulder and leg issues and slept like a baby all night. 20 Stars for the bed. Room had ice maker in full size fridge, microwave, dishwasher, electric cooktop and garbge disposal. Set a dishes and silverware. Just like home. We come to the OKC area at least every 2 months for healthcare specialist and will stay here every trip. We are extremly happy we found Candlewood Suites.

We never knew we were booking ourselves in an A,B&B until we checked in but the breakfast was missing in the entire experience. The $75 holding was in itself a concealed threat making us scared of enjoying the facility for fear of losing the deposit. What an unkind way to treat your guests.

All of the front desk staff were friendly and courteous, both in-person and on the telephone. We appreciate that the hotel is do friendly as well. Outdoor areas were great!!

- Heather (2/5): - There were several issues with this property. First, there was a terrible odor of cheap cologne in our room (cleaner vs previous guests?). Next we turned on the AC unit and it was very load and not tolerable if you wanted any restful sleep. Then, the bathroom light above the sink wasn’t working. I called and asked for someone to come replace it and was told there was no one that could do that. At this point I requested a new room. I will say, the new room on the 4th floor was better (previously on 2nd floor) but the overall appearance was bad. The door to the bathroom were dingy. The carpet was ripped up and not properly replaced. There was linen bags and trash bags up and down the hallways and it was not during cleaning hours. There is another hotel right beside this one that our friends stayed in. I recommend staying there and not at Candlewood Suites.

- Lindsey (2/5): Felt Very Unsafe - I felt very unsafe. A couple knocked on my door at 1:45am. I did not answer, tried to call the front desk to report it but the phone in the room did not work. The room was very old, missing one side of the black out curtain so the parking lot lights shown in all night. TV had no signal, couldn’t watch. Air was off when we arrived so the room was very hot and smelled beyond stale. Up most of the night because of banging doors down the hall. Miserable. Paid way too much for this junky of a property. Don’t stay here.

- Ginger (2/5): - Hotel staff was terrible when we needed to solve an issue in our room. They either pushed us off knowingly or completely lied to us with no real intention of solving the problem. As a family, we have been on the road at least once a month, or more, for the last 15 years for youth sports. We've stayed in hundreds of properties. This was BY FAR the worst staff and management we have ever experienced. They took a small, easily resolved situation and dug their heels in with no concern for us as customers or guests. The manager was a major contributor to the problem, rather than help to resolve the situation. I strongly recommend that you DO NOT make reservations to stay at this particular property.
- Sheryl (2/5): - I booked a stay with 3 dogs and the description on Orbitz did not show that the pet fee was $75 per Pet. It just states $75 per accommodation. This is very deceptive marketing practice since other hotels actually show a fee per pet. After driving for 10 hours I was left in a city with no where to stay. Then I didn't even receive my full refund. Why would I book a hotel stay when the fee would have cost more than my hotel cost? I am done using Orbitz after all of these years.

- Kevin (10/5): - Overall this was the best of the hotels we stayed at on our 4 day trip. I liked the close parking and the friendly staff. I didn’t like the noisy neighbors stomping upstairs like it was an acrobatic troupe staying there… but the desk clerk called them and they (sort of) got quieter. The other thing I didn’t like was that this was the only one of all the hotels who listed themselves on Expedia as “pet friendly” who actually charged a fee. We were charged $150 deposit, of which only $75 was refundable. That, my friends, is not a deposit, but a fee. Other than that, it was very clean and well-kept, and newer and more current in design than the other hotels we stayed at on this trip.

- Allen (10/5): - We booked our stay as a result of a tornado hitting our neighborhood. There were close by, pet friendly, and not damaged. We showed up and once we got checked in, found our way to our room. The king suite was more than roomy enough and very comfortable. Our dog was very much at ease in the strange surroundings. Your staff was top notch. All very friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely concerned for our welfare. The hotel was well appointed, clean and easy to get around. I would have loved to stay even if a tornado hadn't kicked us out of our house. Highest marks and respect for this hotel.

- David (10/5): - Everything was great. The room was spacious and clean. Being able to cook and have a refrigerator to keep food in helps with a large family. The staff were very friendly and easy to talk to. The location is good with restaurants in walking distance if you choose to go out to eat.
