Gospodarz przywitał nas swoimi pysznymi wyrobami (winem 😏 i dżemikiem). Cisza I spokój, ale jedyne wyjście aby tam dojechać to wypożyczenie samochodu. W tym też Gospodarz pomógł 🥰 Brak
- Patrick (10/5): Een verborgen parel - Alles was perfect: nette, mooie kamer.
En een ongelooflijk hartelijke ontvangst van Vagelis, door zijn ontvangst voel je je welkom en thuis.
Mooi uitzicht vanaf het terras.

- Carla (10/5): Perfect - Everything perfect! Great location , near the town but with the silence of the countryside. Beautiful village. Comfortable house, great views, and we’ve learned what Fillxenia means, means welcome, taking care of the guests and our host was the best ! We even had opportunity to taste the jam and wine prepared in the farm and a great souvenir from Naxos ! All fine

- Caroline (10/5): - Generous and helpful host, cute village location. We didn’t have a car and it took around 25 minutes to walk to the beautiful beach, and we could get the bus to town which was great as we had a peaceful stay in an an out of tourist town. Loved it!!

- Diana (10/5): We loved staying here, really beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. Our host was so friendly and helpful. - We loved the location, it was peaceful. Liked having 2 terraces, all beautifully kept. Also loved the room and the traditional style furniture. The bed was extremely comfortable. And our host was really friendly and helpful. Nothing really. Maybe need one or two more kitchen accessories eg cheese grater and wooden spoon but that’s a small thing.
- Valentine (10/5): Amazing stay! We had a wonderful time. - The location was great and very beautiful.
We got upgraded into a big family room for free.
The host was really really nice and offered us some homemade marmalade and wine.
- Evie (10/5): - Charming, quiet spot in the hills outside Naxos Town. I had a lovely time. The hosts were kind and communicative and left me a bottle of wine and other goodies. The facilities and the surrounding village were lovely. Parking is available and easy as well. Would stay again!!
- Marie (10/5): wonderful Galini/Feloxenia - our host was the most kind and caring gentleman. on arrival we were given fresh fruits wine marmalade all made on his lovely property.Blue star ferries were on strike so he organised another ferry company for us and made sure that we got on ferry over to Paros. Ron and I highly recommend this beautiful mountainous resort it is spectacular.
thank you very much Vangelis you are a real gentleman. best wishes Ron and Marie SA. we could not fault this place except when it was time to leave felt very sad as such a peaceful time it had been.
- Elise (10/5): Brilliant! - This property gave us a feel of Greek lifestyle. The host was simply amazing! Nothing
- Joanna (10/5): My best place to stay in Greece ever! - Apt was on beautiful Greek style, excellent view from balcony, garden with flowers and super friendly owner. This place exceeds scalę od comfort, it deserves 11 instead od 10.
- Mihaela (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, very welcoming host , nice apartament and view, all made us feel spoiled in our 3 days stay. Good place to return to:)!
- Phoebe (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tsiri (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean accommodation, excellent facilities, friendly and always available staff.
- George (10/5): This hotel was exceptional. Great value for money. Beautiful scenes and great location - The location was very peaceful, The owner of the property was extremely caring & helpful. The room was large and had plenty of space. The outdoor area was beautiful with lots of different things to look at. The village in which the hotel is located is small but has some hidden gems once you start walking around. nothing.
- Thomas (10/5): Amazing - Friendly owner welcoming us with wine and jam
Very well located in Galini, small greek village that have a lovely café and nice taverns
Very close to amitis beach and Naxos city center
- Paraskevi (8/5): Very good -
- Severine (10/5): An amazing stay in a wonderful village - Splendid location, very authentic building, flowers everywhere, wonderful village, friendly people all around
- Ashley (10/5): Splendid - Amazing venue away from the hustle of downtown Naxos, but with amenities like the a minimarket, Cafe, restaurant, and tavern within a few minutes walk. Easy 30 minute walk to a lovely secluded sand beach, and 15 min to the nearest town Eggares, featuring an amazing olive press museum.
Special mention to the proprietor Vagelis who shared homemade wine and jam with us, and upgraded our room so we could have a kitchen. He struck the perfect balance of being available and helpful while being mindful of guest privacy.
The cleaner came every day and was a joy when we crossed paths, very professional and kind.
Overall would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay a bit off the beaten path to appreciate the best small town Naxos has to offer. Be aware that if outside peak season, the bus runs inconsistently. We would recommend renting a car from the Port to get to the site as the taxi we took was a bit of a rip off.
(Vagelis has excellent connections with a car rental company and we were very happy when we rented with them at the tail end of the trip.)
- Van (9/5): Superb -
- Berndt (10/5): - Beautiful place to be, pleasant patio and cozy room with small kitchen area. Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. Very much recommend for a quiet, relaxing time!
- Anna (10/5): Tranquil Holidays - The hotel is located in a cute village 10’ by car from the town of Naxos. It’s a quiet and beautiful location. The room has all that you need whether it is for a long or short stay. Clean room with excellent service, local welcome amenities upon arrival. There is space to park your car next to the hotel. If you are looking for a tranquil holiday away from the busy town, this is the place to be. Everything was great.
- Amal (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gian (10/5): Exceptional - the host, wonderful person
- Nadine (10/5): The host was absolutely lovely, super helpful, gave us gifts & free upgrade! -
- Emma (10/5): Perfect stay - Beautiful place, really charming room and a very kind and welcoming host.
- Anonymous (10/5): A charming stay in Galini, a quiet and lovely village a short drive to Naxos town - The host is lovely and the small town of Galini is very cute and quiet. There is a great taverna for dinner and another taverna for breakfast, lunch or drinks. The apartment was cool despite the heat (helped by the AC) and there is a nice balcony to sit on. There wasn’t a lot of space in our room to sit or do anything, other than on the balcony.
- Crowhurst (10/5): Exceptional -
- Fatma (10/5): The owner mr Vangeli is very kind, always available for every request. This morning bakery was closed as we went quite e - The area is very quite! Very clean air no cars and noise… the appartment are very nice organised. You will find everything! We did breakfast every day in the terrace. Was really very pleasant!
- Allan (10/5): Had a good stay 10/10 - Beautiful, quiet traditional Greek village. Only a 5 minute ride to an awesome beach bar or ten minutes to central town
- Iyer (10/5): Exceptional - beautiful place! It was a nice island retreat!
- Annika (9/5): Beautiful and clean hotel - can recommend - Beautiful hotel in Galini, everything was very clean. we received an upgrade free of charge and a bottle of white wine from the owner. He was very nice.
- Laiasn (10/5): Exceptional - Awesome place and views and the owner was so lovely!
- Laura (9/5): very comfortable, cozy, authentic - people, beautiful rooms, doors, balcony for breakfast and setting shower head would be preferable
- Dónal (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ante (10/5): Exceptional -
- Zsanett (10/5): Perfect little place - We rented a double bed room, that included a small bathroom and a kitchenette. It was clean, comfy, and very lovely. Clean service everyday, small table, sun bed and olive tree right in front of the door, air condition, TV...etc. It is more than perfectly enough I think. We were very satisfied. The landlord is very kind, hospitality is at top level. We got free home made jams, wine, eggs from the landlord.
Might be important: tap water is drinking water here in the apartman. Although sometimes it gets opaque, but did not have any problem with it during the 1 week or after.
The village is small, mostly local people live their, very calm, relaxing environment, typical greek village with narrow streets, white-blue houses and beautiful sight all around.
There is a beach roughly 2-3 kms away, do not miss to visit it.
I would say it is a highly recommended place to stay. -
- Yannick (9/5): Very very good! - The host was very kind, room was super clean and provided with clean towels every day. The smell of the towels were amazing. We even got wine and marmalade from his own garden, which were delicious .
The town of Galini is very quiet, and peaceful, which we really liked. Bed was comfortable and we slept like babies. Even though we didnt use it, you could cook in the room.
Our host arrange everything from taxi back to the port, and the motoped we wanted to drive.
Excellent stay! Galini is 15 minutes by car from the city of chora (Naxos). So make sure you arrange a car or something to get yourself around the island. Otherwise you will be stuck in the hotel, which isn’t a bad thing either. :)
- Jean (10/5): A charming place - A very charming hotel in Galini. The room was spacious while cozy with unique furniture. Every detail was covered. From honey for the tea, to bath robes and slippers. Enjoyed meeting the owner and sampling his delicious wine. We will return.
- Jaime (10/5): Clean, cozy, well-kept and appointed rooms in a location that offers town and country - I've given it top marks across the board because it was just a lovely experience. The proprietor Vagelis did accommodate our request to keep our family close together, but offered us other available rooms, purely as an option, after he could meet us and assess our particular needs. In other ways too he was very considerate and fastidious. The rooms had all the nice little bits that are so often missing in hotels - e.g. electric kettle, sufficient number of pots and pans and dishes to handle our family of five, safe, some hygiene stuff (antibac spray, wipes, even masks), bar soap as well as nice shower gel and shampoo. The rooms were kept very clean by a lovely woman and the locks and mechanisms on windows and doors were all solid and secure. It just gave the impression that someone really cares about the place and the experience to be had by guests. He gave us homemade jam and candied oranges...and wine from his vineyard, which we sipped on the balcony while gazing across the green valley to the rocky mountains beyond. We liked the location very much because you could keep one foot in the main town on the island and the other foot in the country - and we were spoiled by the great taverna Platia at the bottom of the hill, who make some of the best orange cake (portokalopita) we've ever had, and we eat that stuff wherever we go in Greece!! People should bear in mind that some of the rooms are on a steep hill and you've got to be able to negotiate tight spaces on the way up to the hotel, but that's not something to dislike, just to be noted...
- Michael (7/5): Good - The owner was very helpful and generous. The village was authentic with an excellent restaurant. Nice breeze through the room at nights.Fridge and hot plate. Generally very peaceful. Nice beach 2km walk from room. Bed was too narrow. Bathroom was very basic. Room a bit gloomy. Views from the terrace and balcony were not optimally oriented towards the hills surrounding the village (we had a direct view on parked cars and the wall of the adjacent flat limited views from the balcony). Expensive taxi fare to get to and from the hotel (20€ for 8 minute ride).
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Very nice room, quiet and away from the tourist area. Need a car to get around.
- Brendan (8/5): Lovely room in a quiet village - Stayed in a lovely room with a great balcony overlooking the village, the valley, the sea (to one side) and the mountains beyond. Really nicely decorated room in a rustic style with a good bed. Only slight complaint was the standard of soundproofing, let's say it's no better than most Greek hotels! We had to ask some of our neighbours to quieten down during the quiet hours...The owner was friendly, perhaps a little quirky, and gave us some lovely free jam and fruits. A special mention to the cleaner who was lovely!
