- roger (8/5): Good location and facilities with reservation of not being informed about construction work - Location close to local people and facilities whilst far enough away from cruise traffic yet close enough to attractions Not informed in advance construction and scaffolding would be outside balcony and workmen would access. Blinds were down whwn entered room . No mention. Felt this should have been disclosed earlier for price paid.
- Shuo (1/5): HORRIBLE does not even begin to capture our experience - None This was an active construction zone. They had scaffolding all over this “hotel” and started hammering and drilling at 8am in the morning every morning. The hotel staff didn’t feel bad about it at all and made it seem like it was our fault for not reporting it after the first day. The hotel amenities nor the service deserve a 4 star rating. They should be a two star at best. To be clear after the first morning we didn’t want to complain about something if it was a one time occurrence. After three mornings of having construction workers hammering and drilling on our balcony able to look into our bedroom because they were 1-2 feet away, it was too much. If you like getting woken up every morning by construction workers, uncomfortable beds, showers that spray water everywhere, and the inhospitable hotel staff, then this is the place for you.

El personal muy servicial y amable. Los departamentos son prolijos , limpios y bien mantenidos. Podrían mejorar un poco el servicio que ofrecen, por ejemplo poner a disposición en los apartamentos para el lavo de la vajilla y equipar los apartamentos con insumos básicos como cafe, te, azúcar, servilletas.

- otrainbow (9/5): We had a lovely hot week in Sorrento staying in a comfortable apartment. - It was quiet yet just a short walk to the centre. There's a lot of noisy traffic in Sorrento but it was quiet at Rota Suites. The staff were kind and helpful. Our apartment was kept very clean. We liked being able to use the pool at the hotel round the corner. There was scaffolding round the balcony which was a shame as it was a huge balcony.

Nice with a small kitchen for families, though we did not use it. The cleaning was not very thorough unfortunately, with visible hairs etc. in bathroom (tub, walls) and closet. Had a great terrace but no furniture on it to be able to sit outside and enjoy the view.

Having a full kitchen helped to have a quick breakfast as our day started very early. Staff is very helpful. It was raining and thunderstorm so we were put in the hotel till like noon. There was construction going on above unit and it started like 8-9am and it was non stop. Started giving us heahaches. After we complained they told us there was some repairs and ensured it would be completed before evening. Maybe they were emergency not sure. Apart from this no other issue.

A special shoutout to the incredible concierge staff, Georgia and Raffaella, who went above and beyond to make our family of five feel welcome and comfortable. They were kind enough to offer us an upgrade that perfectly suited our needs and made such a difference to our experience. Throughout our stay, they helped us organise tours, assisted with the washing facilities, and were always ready with a smile and a warm conversation. Their genuine care and friendliness made us feel like valued guests every single day. A huge thank you also to Luisa from the cleaning team, whose attention to detail was impeccable. The suite was spotless and maintained to a very high standard during our stay. The hotel itself is in a fantastic location—just a short walk to the bustling main street full of shops, cafes, and restaurants. It's the perfect base to explore Sorrento. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Rota Suites to anyone visiting the area. The service, cleanliness, and overall experience were simply outstanding. We’ll definitely be back!

We were in apartment no.13 which was at the end of the corridor so quiet with no passing guests. Our experience was excellent. Spotlessly clean, spacious and very comfortable and the staff are wonderful. It's perfectly located for the centre and amenities. We would 100% recommend this lovely accommodation and thank you again.

- GerryNottingham (8/5): Fabulous week in Sorrento - Just back from a fabulous trip to Sorrento. We stayed as a family of 4 (our children are 12 and 17) and we found the Rota Suites to be a perfect base. The bed situation was very flexible. Our son slept of a sofa bed in the kitchen/lounge area. There are sliding doors to separate this area from the bedroom. We were able to move the fourth bed (a very good quality, comfy camper bed into the bedroom so that our Daughter could sleep in there with us giving everyone space. Lovely bathroom and a very large balcony with doors leading onto it from the bedroom and kitchen/lounge. Staff were helpful and on arrival (11pm ish on a Friday) directed us to a bar that was still open and serving food. Staff also provided us with extra pillows on request. Great 10 minute walk to the main square and a 15 minute walk to the marina where the boats to Capri and Amalfi leave from. Make sure you spend some time in Marina Grande which was our favourite spot in Sorrento. Our favourite restaurant was La Favorita which is well worth a visit. Fauno Bar is a lovely spot to watch the world go by. The train station is around a 5 minute walk away where we got the train to Naples and Pompeii. Vesuvius was well worth a trip to. Sorrento is such a lovely place and the Rota Suites were a lovely home for the week. One last piece of advice... have a drink at the Grand Riviera Hotel about 10 minutes walk away, the views of the Bay of Naples are breath-taking!

The location is excellent being a 5 minute walk from the main street of Sorrento and the staff were very helpful. Raffaella in particular made us all welcome and made our stay so very comfortable.

Location is great . Walking distance to town with really nice local shops to explore and experience the culture . They have the same management as grand hotel Rivera and you can book access to pool and beach, it’s a 2-3 min walk. You can rent vespa and electric bikes from near the hotel. The host was very kind and accommodating. No iron in the room . You have to go to the laundry room to iron. There is onsite laundry but the drier is not worth much . I hand to hang my clothes out to dry after using the drier 🫤.

Filth and highway view and noise from the traffic, but that’s it!! They control the air conditioning and lights. Staff is not accommodating. Our toilet was used prior to arrival.Balcony door left open, mosquitoes in room. View of a filthy parking lot with cars roaming. I have pictues. We spent the day looking for other accommodations. Even sadder this was booked as an exchange through our Disney timeshare. They charged us 2 years worth of points!!! Refuses to accommodate us!!!

- pmvits (8/5): Great option for an unforgettable family vacation’s trip - I had a very good experience with my family at Rota Hotels in mid-July, 2024. Apartments are confortable and clean, with a kitchen equipped with necessary items for quick meals (no breakfast is available). It was not a problem for us due to the several options of supermarkets, groceries stores and restaurants close to the hotel. Our apartment had a beaultiful view to the Sorrento harbor and the higheat point was the hotel staff, always very professional and friendly with us and the other guests. My kind regards to Ms. Rafaella and Mr. Johnny, it was definitivelly a great stay!

We could walk easily into town every evening and it was also a good base for buses which we used to get to Amalfi and Positano. The accommodation was extremely clean, with pared down decor. There was plenty of clothes storage, a spacious kitchen/lounge area and a large balcony. The road was a little noisy, but that was the payoff for being in a handy location. I would recommend the apartments for anyone wanting to see the Amalfi Coast.
- maddie3 (10/5): Incredible stay in Sorrento! - After searching for places to stay in Sorrento that would be able to accommodate a family of four, I found Rote Suites. Reviews were good, the price was higher than we planned but we liked that it was two rooms and two bathrooms and the website was great. It was a very close walk from the train station and when we arrived, the hotel exceeded our expectations! We felt SO lucky to be able to be staying at such a beautiful hotel that was minutes away from the hustle and bustle of Sorrento, but quiet and peaceful. The people that work at reception were incredible! Kind, helpful and friendly. The hotel was incredibly clean and the room was spotless. We had the family suite and it was much much bigger than we had planned. It was huge! Everything and more that we needed for cooking in the small kitchen area- obviously very thoughtfully planned by management. Air conditioner worked very well (it was very hot outside) and we liked the automatic shades on the exterior of the windows that kept the heat out of the rooms. The bathrooms were amazing! Lighted mirrors, excellent bathtub and it was so clean. We used the laundry area and when the dryer was finished, Johnny from reception called us to tell us it was ready! Housekeeping emptied garbage each day and replaced towels on our second day. We stayed three nights and we were sad to leave. What an excellent stay we had at Rota Suites. If we are lucky enough to return to Sorrento one day, we wouldn’t stay anywhere but Rota Suites. Thank you for an incredible visit!

- kathywooo (10/5): Lovely - Lovely airy spacious apartment. Everything you need to rustle up a meal if you wanted. Comfortable bed. Lovely staff. 10 minutes walk from the main square but nice and quiet on an evening. Theres a supermarket not too far away and the lovely italian wine is cheap! Only improvement would be an additional comfortable sofa/ chair.
- Jackie11041967 (10/5): Rota suites 10 night stay. - Great location for train bus and town centre .Everything within 10 mins walk .Staff were amazing always on hand if needed .Very friendly and helpfull .Room was spotless airy and had everything wee needed .Bed was comfy and cleaner was in every second day .Bins cleaned every day .Had a balcony wich was spacious with table and 2 chairs great to relax after a long day .loved the location so easy to get to the main area of sorrento and access to train station and bus station .But also really quiet at night .I hope to return to Sorrento soon and would highly recommend any one visiting the beautiful town of Sorrento & Almalfi coast to book this little Gem for their stay .Thank you to the reception staff & cleaning staff for their excellent service. - PucksterLondon (10/5): Spacious, clean and central - We loved our stay at Rota Suites in Sorrento! The reception staff were wonderful. We were on the back of the building, so had loads of windows/light, and a lovely balcony to enjoy. A full kitchen and dining/living room upon entry, then a wardrobe area with separate bathroom, and finally a lovely bedroom. Beautiful tiled floors everywhere! There’s a small restaurant around the corner, with lovely food. The centre of Sorrento is easily reached on foot. Rota suites was the perfect place for us

- Nabeel (10/5): Friendly Staff, Comfortable, Peaceful and Value for Money - Stayed here for 2 nights. We were welcomed by Raffaella who had our room ready and check-in was very quick. We were taken up to our room and was given a tour of all facilities within the room. The room was clean, plenty of towels and toiletries such as shower gel, hand wash and body wash was also provided. The room was cleaned the following day with fresh towels provided. The location was good as well as it is only a 10 min walk to the main strip within Sorrento where you have lots of food places and took us 15ish minutes to walk to the Marina. There are lots of other restaurants and shops within walking distance as well. The property also has parking which for 15 Euros a night is really cheap in comparison to parking in other car parks which charge nearly 40 to 50 euros a night. You are given a key to access the car parking which is fully secured by a gate. The entrance to the car park is slightly tight. I had a rental car which was a DS7 SUV and I managed to park with no issues however my car was nearly as wide as the entrance and I had an inch either side of the car so I would only recommend parking here if you have a smaller car than a DS7 unless you are a really good driver else you will scrape the wall. There is a laundry room which you can use to iron clothes or wash them. I believe washing them there maybe a small charge of a Euro or 2 but I cannot say as I didn't use the washer but I noticed a coin slot on them. The use of the iron has no charge. Communication by the apartment was very good as I messaged them prior to my arrival and they were helpful and friendly which this positive customer service continued from check-in to check-out. Overall it was a really good stay, clean room, comfortable bed, all facilities were working, hidden kitchen within the apartment as well. A nice balcony which is peaceful just to sit and enjoy the weather as well. Would stay here again. Nothing was really good.

- 900siddarthb (4/5): Poor staff attitude - The rooms are basic and clean. The bigger issue is rude staff except Georgia. Georgia was extremely pleasant and helpful. Really poor attitude to everything from the rest. Suggest find another place as the staff are most unhelpful and inflexible.

However, the room was dirty, and you have to call the front desk (when they are there) to change the room temperature, which made for one warm night and two cold nights since nobody was there after hours to change the temperature.

We did not realise it until we went to another city with a family room. Location could have been better. Needed to walk a bit for food. To go to the ferry terminal, had to take a cab. My son is in a wheelchair, so it was a challenge. The staff and the room more than made up for it.

- Roree (9/5): Fabulous - The location of this property was very handy and we were able to access most places we wanted to go with in about 10/ 15 minutes. The apartments were big and nice for our group of 6 people as they opened up a middle door between the 2 apartments so we could all be together. The staff at reception were always very nice when we entered/ left the building. Unfortunately we did have some items go missing during our stay (money and AirPods) and although I can’t confirm exactly what happened these items belonged to 4 different people and were noticed missing all on the same day. We did let the staff know but they said they would not deal with it with out a police report and we were leaving Sorrento so did not have time. This was a shame as everything else about the stay was great - I would just advise you keep all your valuables on you.
