• Margaret (10/5): - Perfect for our one night stay as we were able to walk to the Jervois Road Wine Bar where we wanted to go. Recommend checking out their live music. Such a vibe. Plus it’s easy to walk home from the other nightlife of Ponsonby Road. Very nice room. Small but ideal for two. Clean with a small kitchenette which we never used. Good shower. Comfy bed. Off street parking. And cheap!

• Linda (8/5): - Very clean and tidy, easy check-in and comfortable room, not huge but well set up. Surprisingly quiet, given the location on a fairly busy road. Access to shops, restaurants and everything you need is extremely close, easy walk to eateries and coffee shops. A very pleasant stay.

A friend had a health incident while trying to visit my husband and the staff were very helpful in msnaging a crisis.

• Neal (8/5): - Check in was a breeze. The hotel is in a fantastic location, a short walk to everything Ponsonby has to offer. The room itself was small but had everything the 4 of us required. The only issue we had was a front door that was very hard to open, so much so our 13 year old couldn’t open it. Gotta love free parking and the 1 min drive to get on the motorway north. We will be back!

• Carlo Luis (10/5): - Property is conveniently located and priced decently, the 1 bedroom rooms had sufficient space for 3 to 4 persons. The balcony offers a clear view of the Sky Tower as well!

• Christine (10/5): Great place for a stop over in Auckland - Our stay overnight was on the way from Rotorua to the Bay of Islands, and was excellent for one night. The managers were friendly and very helpful. The room was a good size and the spa bath was very clean and it was relaxing to have a spa bath after a big day out. The motel was on a main road which could put people off, but it didn't worry us. The city centre was not too far away.

• Sayaka (8/5): - There are two restaurants right across the street, a convenience store attached to a gas station close by. We ate at an amazing Thai place Onzon de 5 mins walk away. (Highly recommend) free parking off street was fantastic. Check in and check out super simple. Air conditioner was great and quiet. Loved that there was a microwave and fridge and dishes ect. The room is a bit worn but super clean and the bed was comfortable. I have no complaints! The price was perfect. The shower was fantastic. I’d come again.

• Marla (8/5): - We liked the neighborhood Ponsonby a lot, full of cafes shops and restos and lovely views. The room was small but sufficient, and set up as a longer term rental with dishes and cutlery, small fridge and microwave, bathroom toiletries, etc. Large tv as well with Netflix and other media. However, not so clean dark brown carpet and no other colour or design made the room look a little dowdy. Needs a refresh and a better mattress. But the sheets were clean, towels fresh and a decent price for a more upscale neighborhood.

• david (10/5): Beautiful getaway - Romantic, beautiful apartment near city center. Best room is the top floor end apartment overlooking Harbour Bridge and sky tower. Thank-you for a lovely 3 night stay
• Neal (10/5): Great place to stay. - Excellent apartment with a superb host in Sheryl who went out of her way to accommodate us. Easy access to Auckland centre. Only minor blip was the smoking seat for room 18 was right next to our back door (single glass panel)-we could hear regular coughing and chair scraping! Perhaps we were just unlucky.

The rooms were absolutely fine, a bit smaller than we've has elsewhere (but, Auckland is a larger city) but well appointed and clean. We only saw the chambermaid, our 'key' was left for us and we departed after 2 days before the before the reception opened.
• Jeremy (10/5): Affordable option in trendy neighborhood - Great location. This hotel is right in the middle of the Ponsoby neighborhood so there are plenty of bars, shops, and restaurants within a quick walk and the inner loop bus stop is only steps away. Downtown is a quick scooter ride away. Some rooms have a great view of the down town skyline. Check in and check out were a super quick and easy. Rooms are well-equipped. Inclusive parking is a huge bonus in this neighborhood. I would definitely stay here again.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Great stay in Ponsonby - We had no problem accessing our room despite a late arrival. We were greeted the next morning by the friendly and helpful manager/owner. A bottle of milk was in the well equipped kitchen. The motel is near many restaurants and shopping in Ponsonby.

Only downside was the microwave was not working which is a minor. Would stay again, everything you need close by or an easy uber to central city.
