• Catarina (8/5): Bom custo benefício para estadias curtas - A cama era bem confortável e a parte de trás do hotel era bem legal, com vista para o mar. Para nós, que fomos para o hotel somente para passar a noite, o custo benefício foi bom. Além disso, conseguimos alugar uma moto bem perto do hotel. O quarto não tinha um cheiro bom. Não há muita iluminação natural, pois há construção em frente à janela. O ar condicionado estava visivelmente sujo.

• Melinda (4/5): - The room offers an amazing view of the sunrise. Is a good location. They offer 2 bottles of water a day, which is nice. Staff is nice Cleaning level bad, the pace is old, outdated, the sink was separate from the bathroom, placed in the room, not draining properly, the smell was really bad. Ants on the floor, not just some random ones but a lot of ants. I know that one must adjust to standards. However , there are some efforts management could do to improve the quality of the facilities.

• Robert (4/5): Cheap hotel but will not book again. - Cheap prices but don't expect anything. For me the choice was because of the central location but will not book again. Soft bed, old furniture and tiles with cracks, shower and toilet have several small steps (watch out....)

• Alexander (4/5): Used to be very good. Now sadly faded. - The location is the best in Krabi town. Right on the Riverside, 3 minutes walk to the best night market (there are 3 in Krabi) beers in hotels on each side of this one. Some good bars 4 minutes walk away, my favourite is the reggae / Bob Market style one. The speedboats to the islands and to Phuket leave from outside this hotel. I used to stay here before covid and it was my first choice. Now it's become shabby and needs modernisation. The room that they put me in was small and dingy. The hotel is called "River Seaview". My room had no view at all, and the pointless window looked on to a building high wall less than a metre away!!! The hotel was almost empty and I really can't understand why they didn't put me in a room on the front. I've stayed in those in the past and the views are wonderful. I certainly can't recommend the room I was in on floor 2.

• Nicola (7/5): Good - The location is centrally at the river and 10-15min walk to the river restaurant which is really nice. 2 lights in the room were not working, the bed was very hard, the wifi was weak. The longtail boats are starting early morning and are quite noisy. The facility is old. There is not much to see around so 1 night is enough to explore Krabi city.

The staff were very accommodating, they went to and bought an extension cord for my apnea machine, provided me with dish soap to wash the hose of my machine and a second pillow . The hotel was in a great location right on the estuary and near the ferry depot. No teas provided,

I was just there overnight and booked a budget room which was fine and comfortable but very dark and the only view was of a wall. I wouldn't recommend the cheaper rooms for a longer stay.

Also, right across a street, there is a very nice breakfast cafe "Caramel" with good coffee and many carefully crafted pastries. Looked a bit run down, the room was rather small with low ceiling. There were threatening signs around warning visitors for stealing shampoo, etc. Such signs we didn't encounter anywhere else in Thailand. Seemed like a transit hotel for 1-night stay.

• Mr (8/5): OK for short term stays - This is motel - hotel. :) They provide cool drinking water for the guests (from refillable bottles, as it should be. Why pollute earth with even more plastic.) The WiFi actually works. There is also working fridge in the room. The air condition unit works. The mattress on the bed is kind of worn out. Still OK for 1-2 nights though, but for longer stays not healthy There is not that much daylight in the room, as the window faces almost directly the wall :) The photos are kind of misleading :), the hotel got older and photo were not updated :). Mitsubishi Air Condition unit makes sounds during work like it is dying. Squeeky.

• Diana (4/5): Disappointing - Good quiet location by the river. We rented a motorbike at a good price without any fuss next door at Funky Crab The River, as recommended by hotel staff. Room didn’t match photos as advertised. No breakfast options or deck space to sit and enjoy the river even though this was advertised. No doona but an old fleece blanket which hadn’t been washed and provoked allergies. Bathroom is dark and cramped, knees touch the wall when sitting on the toilet (and I’m 160cm tall!). Wifi overly complicated and didn’t work at all on an iPhone. The hotel generally needs a revamp, which we expected as it is older, but the details in the room made us feel like spending as little time there as possible!

Although there wasn't much that was extraordinary, simple and affordable. That's good enough in my book. I didn't find out about the restaurant next door till my last day.
