Beautiful views from the rooms some with pools and hot tubs in your patio area, the staff and manager were amazing so welcoming and took great care of us from calling taxis for us to having rental cars available through them, they went over and above to make our stay for our honeymoon and it was amazing! Can’t wait to come back and stay!!

Der er ca. 1,3 km til den nærmeste by, hvor der også hår en bus ind mod midtbyen. Stedet i sig selv er dog fin værdi for pengene, men restauranten er ikke fantastisk. Vi foretrak at spise ude.
NIKOLAOS (10/5): Εξαιρετική επιλογή για Νάξο - Το ξενοδοχείο βρίσκεται σε προνομιακή τοποθεσία, είναι νέα κατασκευή εξαιρετικής αισθητικής με πολύ προσεγμένο landscape. Το δωμάτιο που διαλέξαμε ήταν οικογενειακή σουίτα με δύο ξεχωριστά μπάνια και πολλές ευκολίες για οικογένεια. Τα δωμάτια πανέμορφα, τα στρώματα εξαιρετικά, όλα λειτουργικά και άψογα. Θα ξαναβρεθούμε σίγουρα.

Verified traveler (10/5): - Very clean and beautiful hotel. The rooms are rather big and well furnished, the pool is great and inviting. We had half-board and enjoyed it very much. Local ingredients (organic) and very tasty. We haven't had the same main dish in two weeks! The staff was always smiling and very welcoming at all times (they made us feel at home) . The hotel is not in the center of any tourist spot, which we knew and therefore decided to book. It's very quiet, with great views (one side Naxos town and the other Agios Prokopios).
Verified traveler (8/5): - Good value for money with a nice pool. 10 min taxi from ferry port/Naxos town and 25 min walk to Spar and Agios prokopios beach. Only downside is Taxis are expensive and hotel isn’t on a bus route - would recommend hiring a car.
Christos (10/5): Εξαιρετική επιλογη - Το ξενοδοχείο ήταν σε πολύ καλή τοποθεσία μακρυά απ την βαβούρα της χώρας και κοντά σε πλες τις παραλίες.Στα θετικά του ουι είχε δωρεάν πάρκινγκ.Το δωμάτιο ήταν πολύ καθαρό και άνετο και από το μπαλκόνι είχε πολύ ωραία θέα την χώρα και την θάλασσα.Στα αρνητικά ότι δεν είχε ξεχωριστό σαμπουάν και conditioner...Παρόλο αυτά μείναμε γενικά πολύ ικανοποιημένοι και σίγουρα θα το ξανά επισκεφτούμε

Michela (8/5): Benino - Molto bello ci hanno riservato una suite, con spazi stupendi con jacuzzi che al nostro arrivo non funzionava e una volta sistemata , faceva fuoriuscire sporcizia dai getti e acqua giallastra. La pulizia della camera non è stata ottimale,un odore non troppo piacevole proveniva dal bagno. Alla reception molto disponibili. Avevamo compresa la cena al ristorante che però non permette la scelta del piatto ma propone un menu quotidiano un po’ monotono con antipasto ( insalata) un piatto unico e dolce. Per il resto è per il prezzo direi che è una scelta buona

Unn Elisabeth (6/5): A disappointment - We went to Athen, Paros and Naxos. We loved to apartments in Athen and Paros. The Golden Sun at Naxos was a disappointment. It is very expensive compared to the standard of the hotel rooms. We are a family of five and had two rooms. The standard of the rooms are very simple. The bathrooms had old toothpaste, soap and some black stuff on the soap container and the shower. Both showers were leaking, so the floor was always wet. Don’t think they have upgraded the rooms the last 30 years. In one of the rooms, the air conditioner didn’t work and smelled like a wet dog. We asked if they could fix it three times. Somehow they blamed us for not turning it on right, having doors or windows open etc. It was very uncomfortable. When we checked out after three days, they appologised and said we were right about the air conditioner. So sad. Be very particular about which room you book, if you are staying at this hotel.

Verified traveler (10/5): - La conception architecturale du complexe hôtelier surprend agréablement par sa proximité avec l'habitat typique des Cyclades (et diffère des "blocs" hôteliers alentour). De nombreux arbres (qui vont grandir), de fleurs et plantes aromatiques ont été plantés et l'ambiance est relativement calme et familiale (nous y étions en juillet) . Accueil très professionnel. Très belle piscine. Petit-déjeuner avec beaucoup de fruits frais et la restauration est également très correcte. En revanche, il est un peu éloigné de la mer. Le réseau de bus est très dense et permet de visiter l'île (avec une station de bus pour Naxos à deux pas de l'hôtel, si l'on ne loue pas de voiture).

The front desk man (Jones) was beyond helpful. Just a short taxi ride to the port, the location was ideal as it was in a super quiet mountainside near the ocean. Would highly recommend it if you’re looking for a nice quiet getaway!! I will be back!

philip (10/5): Off the charts....in positive way - Everything at this property was beyond expectations. The family atmosphere was astounding. The food offerings were simply amazing, taste, quantity and how it was plated. The service was "off the charts " in a positive way. Our family loved it.

Only negative is its a bit to walk to the beach. But it is the best beach on the island. Also a bit from the city. Usually I like to live at one place or the other. Close to the beach or close to the city. Overall very nice. Alot of bang for the Bucks. Ok breakfast. Not super fancy.

The reception was excellent and helpful providing many tips on attractions, and provided a free shuttle to and from the port. Pool was very nice as well.
Wiebke (10/5): Sehr angenehme Atmosphäre mit großem Pool - Etwas abgelegenes Hotel, Stelida trotzdem fußläufig zu erreichen. Mietwagen empfehlenswert. Das Essen im Hotel war sehr, sehr gut und preislich angemessen. Personal sehr umsichtig und zuvorkommend, Kommunikation vorab einwandfrei. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, leider schien die Dusche etwas defekt zu sein bzw gab es nur eine Tür. Die andere Seite der Dusche stand offen, weshalb das Bad täglich geflutet war. Das war jedoch das einzige Manko. Wir kommen gern wieder!
Laurent (8/5): Naxos août 2018 - Bon séjour. L’hôtel est propre, la piscine agréable et suffisamment de transats. Navette gratuite vers centre ville à certaines heures. Regrets : les photos ne reflètent pas la réalité et notre vue mer annoncée était une vue bâtiments avec un tout petit de mer au loin. En demi-pension, repas unique le soir et pas de choix ce qui est dommage. Sinon, nous avons passé un séjour agréable, proche d’une plage magnifique à 10mn de marche. On y retournerait certainement.

IOANNIS (10/5): ΤΕΛΕΙΟ ΜΕΡΟΣ ΓΙΑ ΟΛΙΓΟΗΜΕΡΗ ΧΑΛΑΡΩΣΗ - Η εμπειρία ήταν καταπληκτική.Η νέα πτέρυγα με τις σουίτες είναι εντυπωσιακή!Έμεινα στο δωμάτιο 118 μία Jr suite με θέα θάλασσα.Το πρωινό είναι καλό και οι κήποι του ξενοδοχείου φροντισμένοι. Η πισίνα καθαρή.Πολύ κοντά στον Άγιο Προκόπιο εύκολα προσπελάσιμο με τα πόδια αν και γενικά το νησί ενδείκνυται για όχημα! Η κουζίνα του ξενοδοχείου είναι αρκετά καλή και με σχετικά καλές τιμές!
Keri Travis (8/5): Great place for families - This was our first hotel experience in the Greek Islands, but now that we have had more experiences, we now know how great this little hotel was! It was friendly and family run (at least mostly family run) and felt welcoming to our two children (6&9) The pool was nice, and it had free shuttles daily to the beach, town or port (THAT'S A BIG BONUS!) we didn't need to rent a car. All in all, a pretty good experience.
AA (2/5): Terrible experience - On arrival, Thursday, there was nobody waiting for us at the port as agreed previously. On Sunday, it was just surreal when we were faced with a wedding reception for about 250 people in the leisure area for guests. The party started at 8pm and the very loud music ended at 6am. Just before the party started I spoke to the manager and asked if there would be another room which we could move to, she said there was not. Our room was a few metres away from it all. We couldn't sleep. No previous notice, no apologies, no offer of alternative accommodation. Next morning we were informed that our transfer to the port would have to be cancelled as the driver was sick. I only found this out when I went to the reception desk to check, 30min before our agreed departure time. I complained and asked for my money back for the night we couldn't sleep and had no response. Hotels.com customer services was very helpful and contacted the hotel a few times for me, but the hotel is unwilling to accept I had a cause to complain. Also be aware that the descriprion of the hotel is not accurate. There is no spa or laundry services. UNBELIEVABLE!!
Verified traveler (10/5): Great value, Very nice hotel. - This hotel was very great. We got an amazing deal on the place and were expecting a very bare-bones European hotel, but we found this place to be very pleasant. The staff was absolutely great. There is a shuttle to the city and port and it a short walk to a beautiful beach and beachtown. The pool is clean and wonderful and breakfast is excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are looking to save money but still stay in a great place.
Michael (10/5): More than Accomodating - Can't say enough about how welcome and accommodating the staff made me feel. Although just a short stay, I was on a first name basis and they went above and beyond taking care of me. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway!
Slion (6/5): Nice hotel,friendly staff,convenient location(car) - Overall happy with our stay, however the rooms seem to be overpriced. This is a nice hotel with very helpful staff, but the quality of the rooms is just average. Also, we were a bit disappointed with the breakfast as although there were a lot of options, they didn't seem fresh. We were really pleased with the friendly staff. The location is convenient if you have a car as the hotel is 10 min from the town (restaurants and nightlife) and 5-15 min from the most popular beaches of the island.
