• Philipp (10/5): - Das Hotel war sehr modern und gepflegt. Unser Zimmer lag im hinteren Teil des Hotels im obersten Stock mit großem Balkon. Die Mitarbeiter waren freundlich und konnten bei jeder Frage weiterhelfen. Man musste nur die Straße überqueren und war direkt am Strand, wo man die schönsten Sonnenuntergänge beobachten konnte. Toller Aufenthqlt!

• Jan (8/5): Prisvärt hotell med bra läge - Hotellet har ett bra läge i Flic en Flac med flera stycken bra restauranger i närheten. Ca tio minuters promenad bort finns en större supermarket. Rummet var mycket rymligt och det fanns både en kyl och en mikrovågsugn. Det vi saknade var torklina eller torkställning på balkongen till blöta badkläder. Poolen och framför allt solstolarna skulle behöva en uppfräschning. En dag passerade en cyklon utanför kusten så vi fick hålla oss på rummet eller balkongen den dagen. Personalen informerade oss bra och det fanns toapapper och handdukar att hämta i receptionen om man skulle behöva den dagen.

• Marianne (8/5): Fin lejlighed - Fin lejlighed, god rengøring og skift af sengetøj og håndklæder hver anden dag. Ingen elevator - der er langt op på 2.sal. Vi troede at vi kunne købe morgenmad men det var sløjfet. Lidt svært når caféen er lukket om torsdagen.

• Robert (2/5): Unreliable - This location is hard to get a hold of during operating hours, so if you need to talk to the property, you might not be able to get a hold of them. I booked this property for my in-laws to avoid them from driving back home after our wedding. Since we were running behind schedule, we called the property to advise them that we might be missing check-in time but were unsuccessful in getting a hold of anyone. We called multiple times, but the phone was never answered. When I took my parents-in-law to check in, it was already after hours, and no one was at the front desk even though there was access to the front desk. I understand that there is a check-in time period, but life happens, and sometimes you are not able to make it. If they had at least answered the phone, we would have discussed options, or I could have arranged different hotel accommodations.
• Arnost (6/5): Good basic accommodation in good place - Very good location just across the beach. Not so far from restaurants and all things you need can be reached by foot. Hotel it self needs desperately some renowation and investment as it is pretty "used". Room was huge and nice, however through closed windows you hear everything so you are in some times like "sleeping" at the road. Nearly none of lights were working so at night it was very dark. Soap and shampoo we had to request as there was none on arrival. Breakfast still the same, very basic but you can survive on it day or two. For what you get you pay like for whole main course in restaurant, but on hotel in Mauritius it was quite cheap. Pool area in general - not a pleasant feel from it, whole time occupied by some Arabic family. Sunbeds smelled very funky... did not use it at all as not felt safe to be there. Very basic good accommodation. If you have it as base for travel and sleep over - great to use it as that. If stay for pool and being at room, there are for sure better places. Staff on the other hand was very polite and great.

• Friedhelm (8/5): Tolle Lage nahe dem Strand. - Nur durch eine Straße, dem Hotelparkplatz und ein paar Schattenspendende Bäume vom feinsandigen Strand entfernt (ca. 50 m). Korallen, Steine und Seeigel bedingen ein Baden mit entsprechenden Schuhen. DER Strand ist das besondere an diesem Hotel, da ansonsten viele Luxushotelanlagen (Hilton , Sofitel ) und Privatbungalos am Ende der Sackgasse sind. Ca. 100 m entfernt Restaurants und ein Nightclub. Sehr grosse Zimmer mit Kühlschrank und Mikrowelle. Aber kein Geschirr...
• Verified traveler (6/5): - Zeer grote, mooie kamers. Lekker ontbijt. Vriendelijk personeel. Maar verschrikkelijk bed. Hoe sympathiek ik de accomodatie en zijn medewerkers ook vond, het bed heeft ons verblijf een beetje verpest. We hebben voor de 2 laatste nachten zelfs een ander hotel gezocht. Ik zeg het niet graag want verder was alles echt top, maar het is niet anders.
• Barrett (8/5): Solid stay, decent value, no Wifi in the room. - I was in town for business and stayed the weekend for fun. Very accessible to the public beach, but no-frills on the service. Decent value. No WiFi in the room which was the biggest let down.
• Jonathan (10/5): Enkelt, bra och nära till allt - Ett prisvärt mysigt litet ”lägenhetshotell” stora rymliga rum med kyl, micro m.m. En mysig liten pool på innegård och 1 minut till havet. Flera restauranger längs gatan att äta på. Helt klart prisvärt för ett annars relativt dyrt Mauritius

Plage bondée du vendredi au dimanche. Boite de nuit à coté de l'hôtel. Ville faite pour faire la fête mais pas pour le repos. Je ne recommande à personne. Merci
• Allen (8/5): My stay at Sea Villa - I had a 3 night stay at Sea Villa. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and had almost all amenities. Bed linen was good but bath towels were clean but showed repeated use. The breakfast was a bit low on quality. However, the friendliness of staff made up for other short comings.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Näher zum Strand geht‘s nicht - Ein grundsätzlich schönes kleines Hotel in traumhafter Lage mit eigenem Pool. Die Zimmer sind relativ groß, klimatisiert, aber eher karg. Das Licht ist funzelig und die Geräuschdammung könnte besser sein. Kühlschrank und Mikrowelle helfen. Freundliches Personal. Kostenlose Parkplätze gegenüber am Strand, schöne Lokale zu Fuß zu erreichen. Sparmarkt und ATM im Ort 15 Minuten zu Fuß oder zwei Minuten mit dem Auto. Auf Wunsch preiswertes Frühstück freundlich serviert mit Omlett oder Spiegelei - besser aus dem Laden mit richtigem Saft, Käse und Aufschnitt ergänzen.
• Verified traveler (2/5): Absolutely horrible service, 1 star place - Superficially ok apart hotel. The staff was the worst I've ever encountered. Stayed there for 48 hours before having to leave. No fix for the safe, promises promises promises and action only when threatened to leave and still no fix. Lost 2 perfect days waiting for this. After asking for a refund the management outright lied that I had stolen the keys and left on my own. This was absolutely not the case. Stay away.

• Hans (8/5): Tolle Lage - Ein B&B der sehr guten Art! Sehr gute Lage in Flic en Flac direkt gegenüber vom Strand (public Beach) und Restaurants und Kioske in der Nähe. Großes und praktisches Zimmer mit einem sehr guten Bett! Wertung ohne Breakfast!
• Verified traveler (4/5): Disappointing stay - Good location but unfortunately poorly managed and maintained. Building has potential but needs work. Management did not seem concerned with informing guests that there would be no hot water for 3days, or that there would be maintenance on the roof for 2 days causing noise and throwing equipment off the 4th floor roof to smash on the ground below. We had 2 terraces to our apartment which became covered in broken glass and scrap metal. We asked the manager over 2 days to have it cleaned and it still hadn't been done by checkout. The only positive is the location, easy walk to the beach and up to the centre of town.

Der Service im Hotel sowie die Freundlichkeit des sammten Personales waren sehr angenehm. Mauritius ist ein Reiseziel sonder gleichens. Ich bin mir fast sicher, daß ich nicht alzulange warten werde um zurückzu kommen
• justin (2/5): It was terrible experience I ve never had. - I almost stayed 10 days. Dirty: Hotel was not clean and the made didn't come everyday. Only after I strongly claimed they came and 10 min cleaning done. And lots of ents and bugs in the room. Maintenance: Especially after 7 PM hotel is not providing hot water. My family had to boil the water with hotpot and we took a shower little bit. Unkindness: Staffs was also too bad. They never try to allow any preference for guest. Especially in a night, nobody wasn't staying. Noisy: They never mind other guest's noisy and we were suffring until 2 pm. If you are looking for the hotel in same place, Flic en Flaq, you should take the other one for your happiness!!!!! I will never use it again.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Bien placé, parking à proximité - Appart'Hotel bien placé, à 100 m de la plage. Par contre, pas de trottoir. Donc passé la grille de l'hôtel on se retrouve sur la route (attention on roule à gauche !). Parking à 50 m (aucun pb durant tout le séjour). Belle architecture bien que les architectes d'intérieur ont réalisé quelques belles fantaisies (cloison au milieu d'une fenêtre !). Appartement très grand. Par contre, pas de table et chaises pour manger mais juste une table basse et des canapés. Calme la nuit. Belle piscine. Petits déjeuners copieux. Personnel très aimable et de bon conseil. Ménage et changement du linge de bain quotidien. Quelques blattes dans un WC mais cette faune ne nous a pas dérangé :-)
• Verified traveler (6/5): Ok för några nätter inte mer - Enda anledningen att välja detta hotell​ är närheten till stranden och några bra restauranger i Flic en Flac. Stora familjelägenheter dock ingen möjlighet att laga mat. Man kan be om bestick och tallrikar i receptionen om man hämtar mat. Känns otryggt att korsa vägen till stranden eller gå till de närliggande restaurangerna. Trafiken under helger är ett mardröm för att inte nämna störande musik från stranden långt in på natten.

• K C (6/5): Spacious and clean hotel in a great location. - The room is no cooking facilities nor any utensils. You can get a kettle after asking several times. As breakfast are expensive at the hotel or outside, better to buy bread and cheese at the supermarkets which are cheap and good. You can buy disposable plates, cups and cutleries at the supermarket. If you like to explore the island, a good option will be to hire a car and GPS (or use Google map on your data plan). The roads are easy to drive. The beach at Flic-en-Flac and northern side of the island are great.

• noush (2/5): Misrepresentation! - I booked this hotel because aside from the pictures it shows online, there is another section under room description that explains that the room has a bathroom. I like be taking my baths at night and this is a keep complement or shall we call it an influential factor that encouraged me to book this place. Upon check-in, I was disappointed to find out that my room had a shower rather than a bath tub. I complained with the receptionist who was unable to help. She clearly accepted that the fault was from their end but did not do anything. No apologies or anything! Very disappointed. When you book a place, you clearly expect them to sell you a place as per their description. I am clearly very unsatisfied with this place due to the reasons stated above.
• Isabelle (8/5): Flic en flac - Bra hotell med trevlig personal; badrummet behöver nog renoveras; nära att gå till restauranger men få restauranger: nödvändigt att boka bord för att vara säker att få bord. God mat, lite billigare än i Sverige. Mauritius är nog mest lämplig och utvecklad för all inclusive hotellen. Flic en flac har en väldigt fin och lång strand men under nyårshelgen tältar väldigt många nära stranden och det blir tyvärr väldigt skräpigt.
• Sten (6/5): Etwas verlassenes Hotel direkt in Strandnähe - Wir waren hier nur einen Tag. Die ganze Anlage ist schön, aber eben völlig verlassen. Dadurch sind diverse kleine Reparaturen und Reinigungsarbeiten fällig.

I had a message early in the morning but finished after the breakfast but the staff kept some for me aside which does happen in large hotel where you are just a number. I will book again at this hotel whenever I travel to Mauritius. Also with the free wifi available I was able to do some work and also keep in touch with the family here in UK too.
• Riona (4/5): Average stay in Flic en Flac - I thought the location of this place was great. I didnt like the condition of the place as I had no hot water in my room and had to go shower elsewhere which was inconvenient. It is a very standard old place.
• Karen (6/5): Lovely looking apartment. - The hotel looks lovely but lacking in some basic maintenance which in my opinion let it down, if there was a bit more TLC given then these comments wouldn't need to be wrote. That said, the bed is comfortable and the shower is good with ample hot water. We only stayed 2 nights as a short break whilst holidaying on the island on the other side of the island and I would stay here again for a short stay.

• Olivier (8/5): good balance between cost, comfort and location - Great spot, perfect for me to rent a car, stay local and next to the beach, ive stayed in 5 stars many times for business and personal trips, but this is a great balance for what I needed. this place allows you to leverage the beach in the afternoon when working through the week if you are on business, without burning a hole in your pocket. The breakfast is just what you need, eggs as you like, local lechi yogurts, fresh bread etc, (but they could improve in the juice department).... The hotel isnt big, so you get personalised service where some of the bigger hotels lack. i had a great time. but make sure the hotel suits what you are looking for. If i had to describe in a sentence it would be "halfway between a hotel and a serviced apartment".
• Hayden (10/5): A Nice Surprise - Not having it's own website (or, at least, not one that I can find on the internet), I was a bit worried about this place. I could easily find it on various hotel booking websites, but not a website of it's own. I didn't know if that would mean it was sketchy or perhaps non-existent. That said, when I called to confirm my reservation and arrange airport transfers (very reasonably priced with a safe driver and a nice car), they knew exactly who I was and how I had booked!! It was a pleasure working with the staff here. Also, the suite was AMAZING!! It was bigger than my apartment back home, lots of space and good air-conditioning for the hot nights. Good location to restaurants and the beach, and great services (breakfast, laundry, massage etc.). I was VERY pleasantly surprised by this place and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone! It also has a nice pool area with some lounge chairs, so you don't have to go too far to find some relaxation!
• Dave H (8/5): Right across the street from the beach! - The Sea Villa are more of a studio arrangement than a hotel, with a kitchen and large living room / dining room. Good if you need a lot of space or you want to self-cater. There are a few restaurants just down the street from the Sea Villa, as well as some small convenience stores. The beach is directly across the street and is very clean and nice (nicer than the designated "public beach" down the street). Breakfast is modest but they will cook you an omelette or other egg dish if you would like. The staff are friendly and helpful. The pool is nice too.
• Helen (10/5): Next to beach and close to restaurants/shops - A couple who stayed for 6 nights and was very impressed. Had a room with a sea view which we recommend. The building is at the end of the 'strip' and very close to some really nice restaurants, there is also a bus stop right outside if you want to go further afield. The villas are separated from the beach by the road so literally a stones throw away. The local town has many places to book tours and we would recommend going to see the dolphins as they pass right by the beach every day! As for the staff, they were very friendly and welcoming and were happy to help with any questions we had. Would stay there again if we went back.
• Vishal (4/5): Facilities mentioned on Expedia are not true - Expedia mentions they have bathtub, bathrobes etc. None of the rooms in the entire hotel has this. The breakfast was next to nothing. They kept few bread pieces, one packet of Corn Flakes, milk which was so old that it had deposits, and few fruits which were inedible. There was internet available only next to pool (not in room) although the website says internet is free. Air conditioning in the living room was not working and the management says they will get it fixed within a day or two. And to top it all, there were lizards all around the hotel in every corner. The location is good right next to the beach. Overall, this was probably the worst place I have ever stayed.
