• Tim (8/5): On the water, but under the jet approach path - Pontikonisi is a nice place to stay right on the water near Corfu. Access to swimming is available right from the property, but be warned - they do NOT provide towels for you to go swimming! Expect to buy towels for 14 Euros if you want to hop in the water. While the hotel has a roof garden bar, they no longer serve meals (other than bar snacks). There are, however, at least three very nice restaurants within a ten minute walk from Pontikonisi. The biggest drawback is that it is right under the final approach path to Corfu airport, which is very busy. If airplane noise is a concern, you would be best to look elsewhere.

Excellent breakfast -all inclusive. What I didn’t like was the small lift.
• Myriam (10/5): Très bien globalement - Une chambre vraiment très propre, nous avons pris la chambre luxe balcon vue sur la mer. Il y avait une douche italienne, la chambre semblait être neuve le balcon donné sur la plage privée et sur la mer avec un îlot en face ainsi que les avions qui atterrit et décolle à proximité un rendu vraiment joli et aucune nuisance sonore la nuit piscine en Rooftop plage privée avec transat, on va au restaurant en Rooftop, le service est vraiment génial. Les gens sont vraiment accueillants le seul bémol la nourriture du restaurant, laisse vraiment à désirer burger simple pain dur sans être passé au four très sec, viande ultra sèche comme une semelle. Cela n’était pas mangeable. Pizza surgelée qui est passé devant nous encore surgeler j’avais commandé une pizza en entrée étant donné que nous avons eu les plat et que la pizza n’est pas arrivé J’ai donc demandé à la dame de l’annuler car elle venait à peine de passer devant nous et que j’ai vu qu’elles étaient surgelées ce à quoi elle n’a pas voulu annuler la pizza. En me disant qu’elle arrivait dans deux minutes tout en sachant que j’avais vu les pizzas passer, il y a même pas une minute, je trouve ça très peu correct, mais cette dame et une dame que j’ai croisée au petit déjeuner également. Dame pas très chaleureuse hormis ce bémol, le personnel était vraiment très accueillant. Une dame particulièrement à l’accueil qui parle français nous a vraiment aidé tout au long du voyage en communiquant pour nous au téléphone pour location divers
• Demitra (10/5): - I have to say I’m happy I didn’t stay right in the center of Corfu town. Yes you might need a scooter, a car or a bus to this hotel 15 minutes out but it’s so worth it. I know every staff member by name. I’ve only been here three days, accommodations are clean and modern. You’re literally on your own private beach overlooking mouse Island. The breakfast buffet is massive, and the upstairs bar is beautiful overlooking the water with snack snacks. Everyone was amazing to me. I’ll never forget staying here and I recommended to anyone and everyone.

The cleanliness and modern amenities of the hotel and the gym across the street. Plus, we’re literally on our own beach right across from mouse Island. It’s close enough to the city but far enough so you could have an escape. It was wonderful here. I would recommend it to everyone I know.

• Lauren (8/5): - The breakfast was so good! View was amazing. I do wish the bar would offer a little more food. I stayed in the building across the street. AC worked good. Balcony was great. There is a lot of street noise, but that didn't bother me. The sun loungers at pool and beach are horrible. I bruised my butt from sitting down on it. only thing I would recommend is some sort of handrails for the stairs on building across street. I would absolutely stay here again. Thank you!

• Phillip (8/5): Ok but noisy and old fashioned - The hotel is an old fashioned style Greek hotel. Very cramped bathroom and very hard to shower without making all the floor wet . The view is very good to Mouse Island and beyond but being on the flight path to the Corfu airport it is very noisy as the aircraft are very low on the approach.

• Jörg (10/5): Für den Preis viel zu gut - Alter, was ist das für ein Hotel? Der Preis war sehr günstig, also wurde nicht viel erwartet, sollte nur eine Nacht halten und dann sehen wir die Aussicht. Hammer, damit haben wir nicht gerechnet und die Flugzeuge im Landeanflug über das Meer so nah und von den Geräuschen okay. Perfekt Am Morgen schnell ein Kaffee und so eine billige Brotscheibe...als wir sahen was es da alles gab haute es uns fast um. Da wurde mal richtig groß aufgefahren und richtig lecker. Wir haben uns geärgert, dass wir nur einen Tag gebucht hatten. Da kann man es aushalten. Und deshalb werden wir bald wieder mur fürs WE dort hin fliegen. Bei allem Lob, die Zimmer waren okay, hätten aber mal etwas Kosmetik nötig
• Pedro (4/5): Huele literalmente a cloaca - El hotel huele a cloaca. Muchos mosquitos incluso una araña en la habitación. Habitación con muchos desperfectos: moqueta, grifería, mobiliario… Personal correcto, buffet bueno y vistas muy bonitas. Bastante alejado del centro, bastante ruidoso. Lo peor el olor, lo mejor las vistas.

Achei que era mais próximo ao centro histórico, mas a pé demora uma hora e meia. Porém e próximo a uma igrejinha muito simpático que fica em uma pequena ilha com acesso por uma espécie de passarela.
• Kevin (8/5): Good value hotel - Lovely views to Mouse Island and easy access to Corfu town. The food in the rooftop restaurant was good quality and very reasonably priced. Helpful, friendly staff and a good breakfast will lots of choice.
• Maria (6/5): Ikke anbefalelsesværdigt - God service, pånær personalets manglende viden om højsæson vs lavsæson i henhold til at booke cruises. Sengen var mildest talt sten hård og ubærelig at sove i. Der var dyr på værelset, myg og andre ukendte flyvende insekter. Badeværelset blev oversvømmet ved bade og afløbet var fuldstændigt tilstoppet. Vandtrykket var så svagt i håndvasken og toiletterne. Hotellets værelsesdøre var ikke lydtætte og det var derfor umuligt for at sove til senere end kl 8 (både pga sengen mm) på grund af smækken fra elevatordøren og højlydte familier. Hotelværelset var ekstremt småt med 2 kufferter og belysningen var mangelfuld. Maden ved morgenmads buffeten var ikke specielt interessant og heller ikke servicen. Vi prøvede ikke pool faciliteterne, men kun stranden. Og dette var ganske fint, udover vandet til tider var ildelugtende (men dette kan hotellet formentligt ikke klandres for). Dog var der skarpe søm eller skruer ved sten afsatserne i forlængelse med promenade kanten, som man nok burde gøre noget ved.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Je ne recommande pas - Le seul point positif est le prix vraiment abordable et également le petit déjeuner inclus dans la formule. Sinon je n'ai pu relever que des points négatifs.. Déjà l'odeur infâme d'égout ! Ça sent dehors sur la partie plage de l'hôtel, ça sent dans la chambre... enfin ça pue ! Obligé d'aller ce baigner ailleurs. Mais impossible de se déplacer à pied car on risque sa vie à chaque sortie. Il n'y a absolument aucun trottoir et beaucoup de virages. La piscine se situe en bord de route mais reste correcte. La salle de sport est de l'autre côté de cette fameuse route dangereuse et n'est pas climatisée, ni entretenue. Tout le matériel est obsolète et en très mauvais état. Blindée de moustiques (vu que les fenêtres sont ouvertes en permanence comme pas de clim) Côté chambre la chasse d'eau fuit, la clim est tombée en panne à 2 jours de notre départ et n'a pas été réparée malgré nos nombreuses doléances. Pas une seule fois la moquette n'a été aspirée et les draps changés. Seul les serviettes étaient renouvelées (à part la veille du départ rien n'avait été fait du tout) Après c'est vrai que c'est des vacances pas chères mais changer les draps/serviettes et avoir une clim qui fonctionne est la base de chaque prestation hôtelière

• Verified traveler (6/5): - The hotel is right next to the sea and has its own private beach/bar/restaurant but it is rundown and I think our room may have had mold because we could not stop sneezing. It's okay for a quick night of stay near the airport but I would not plan a vacation around it. If coming from airport, you can take bus 15 to station with bus 6 and take bus 6 all the way to Perama (Aegli station). It's about a 30-45 minute drive for about 4 euros per person.
• Ali (10/5): Perfect budget hotel near Corfu town. - It's absolutely a perfect budget staying near Corfu town, for only 50€/night per room, you get a private pool, private beach, breafast included for both guests. The only disadvantage is being a little bit far from the city center (especially when you don't have a car).

• mark (10/5): Wèekend getaway - Hotel is in a gtreat location just south of Corfu Town, quiet location with a few local tavernas around. Short car or bus ride to Corfu Town or can walk via causeway across bay. Hotel has good sized pool & its own access to sea with amazing views. Great restaurant & bar, plus breakfast buffet has a good selection. Room was fine & the views across the bay are stunning, weĺl woth paying ectra for a sea view. Also have use of well equipped gym across the road from hotel. What made my stay soecial was the staff, akways friendly & reaĺly helpful. I would definatley stay here again.

• Muriel (10/5): Great views for a good price. - Good for a one night stop over. Sea view room is recommended.good COVID protection and very friendly staff. Breakfast very good and thankfully no buffet.
• Verified traveler (2/5): - The receptionist was rude and did not want to assist. The room offered is in the basement and when we asked why, they said we need to explicitly request it. There are no support staff, no cleaners, no kitchen, no bar service, nothing at all. When asked why, they said the staff are on vacations. The hotel is next to the airport and the noise is excruciating, the balcony or the outdoor area cannot be used. The garden and balconies are full of mosquitos as well as inside, and there is no net door to stop them and the property is not taken care of, to eliminate that. There is no breakfast option, no buffet, they do not even sell water, the receptionist points you to the road and says go to the mini market for what you need. The bathroom was full of ants and the pool had no signs of how deep it is, and it turns out it is 1.8m deep at its shallowest point, and the receptionist did not inform us although she saw we have a 7 year old child.

It is a relaxing place between the aircraft arrivals and departures that have a flight path with in 100,s of metres of the hotel. This is not a negative to the hotel if you enjoy seeing aircraft up close and I consider quite a experience for never been so close to aircraft before. Others whom dislike aircraft noise this hotel would not be a good choice. Other than that a good 2-3 star accommodation

Snackbaren på hotellet er super hyggelig og har en sublim udsigt ud over Adriaterhavet. Morgenmaden indeholder alt hvad hjertet begærer. Kan kun varmt anbefale hotellet. Déjeuner copieux. personnel sympathique. Ce qui est le plus agréable c'est d'avoir pratiquement les pieds dans la mer pour se baigner et une vue vraiment magnifique. Les points négatifs; une chambre trop petite et surtout le bruit de la climatisation infernale. Nos voisins la mettaient 24h sur 24 h!! donc impossible de profiter de notre terrasse car le moteur de leur clim était à côté et la nuit obligé de prendre des cachets pour dormir!
• John (6/5): Overnight stay - The hotel was fine for our purpose and breakfast, as many others have reported, was good. We were there for only one night and had booked knowing it was close to the airport. Aeroplane noise is a major problem throughout the day with planes flying past and over the hotel on a regular basis. Probably best for plane spoters. Not much happening locally. The hotel compares favourably on cost with other local overnighters.

The access to the sea is good, even though they don't have a beachfront. Those who complain that the planes are loud are right. Everything else makes up for that.

• Charles (10/5): Unpretentious hotel offering good value - We have just had six nights at the Pontikonissi and had a good time. The hotel is literally by the sea with the shoreline a stone’s throw from the rooms. We would happily go again.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Good value for small money. - Small hotel with nice garden with seaview and pool and beachbar on the roof. Room and bathroom is small but functional and good value for the price you pay. Breakfastbuffet is very good with lots of choices and nicely presented. Beachbar also serves good food for a small price. WiFi works well and is free. Close to the capital and the airport. Be aware: planes are landing quite close to this hotel but we saw it more as an attraction during our 3 night stay.

• Halit (8/5): Fiyatına göre iyi bir seçim - Ben tatilimi mayıs sonu Haziran başı gibi 4 gün yapmıştım. Otelin yeri Corfu merkeze yaklaşık 7 km... Denizin kenarında tatil yaparım, az gezerim diye düşünürseniz, fiyat-performans olarak, mantıklı bir seçim. Ama her akşamüstü Corfu merkeze gider turlarım derseniz mesafe uzun... Araba ile gitmek şart, o zaman da bazı yerlerde yoğun trafik ile karşılaşabiliyorsunuz. Arabanız yoksa işiniz daha zor... Araba kiralamanızı öneririm ki taksi merkezden 15 euro yazıyormuş!!! Ben arabam ile gitmiştim, o nedenle büyük sorun yaşamadım. Otelin park için ayırdığı alan küçük, ama ben ne zaman gelsem park yeri bulabildim. Odaların günlük temizliği düzenli yapılıyor. Denize bakan odaların manzarası güzel. Otel havaalanına yakın bir konumda ve uçaklar inerken resmen balkonda sizi selamlıyor :) Biz bunu çok sevdik, balkonda ya da en üst kattaki kafede kahvemizi içerken uçaklar önümüzden iniş yapıyordu. Uçak motor gürültüsünü sevmiyorsanız bu aklınızda bulunsun. Corfu genelinde sivrisinek büyük bir sorun, sinek kovucu alın. Resepsiyon katında küçük bir kahvaltı alanı var, bizim kaldığımız dönemde kişi sayısına göre yeterliydi. Sınırlı ama yeterli malzeme ile açık büfe kahvaltı var. İçecek olarak ta alternatifler mevcut (demleme olmasa da sallama çay, kahve, sıcak-soğuk süt, meyve suları). Kahvaltıdan memnun ve doymuş kalkıyorsunuz. Ufak bir havuzu, güzel bir güneşlenme alanı ve kendine ait plajı var. Odalarda wi-fi bağlantısı iyi çalışıyor. Çalışanları güler yüzlü ve samimi.

Un peu loin du centre mais très facile en autobus. Vu que c'est à coté de l'aéroport, avions qui passent au dessus de l'hotel

• Maurizio (2/5): Hotel at 100 Db - The hotel has a nice view, but it gets into the background almost immediately. The hotel is on the landing route of Corfu International Airport, where it will host over 50 flights per day, at any time of day and night. Airplanes pass so close that almost you can see the pilots in the eyes. The noise generated by these airplanes almost always exceeds 70 Db (measured with the phone) and sometimes reach the 100 Db. Unable to sleep. I spent 1 week falling asleep one night and waking up at 3 o'clock when the plane seemed to land in the room. As for the room, in our case the bathroom was so small that to sit on the toilet you had to put your feet in the shower. The cleanliness leaves to be desired and in the rooms there is a rather dated carpet. Also immediately upon arrival the hotel is greeted by a strong smell of cloaca. Last parking spot. It is said that parking is free, but it is not specified that it is under-sized to the needs of the hotel. Cars are made to park one behind the other, but then you are called at any time to move it. Bad experience.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Poche pretese, ottima posizione! - 5 stelle alla posizione strategica dell'hotel: panorami mozzafiato e strade agevoli verso ogni parte dell’isola (posizione centrale e vicina l'aeroporto, gli aerei si sentono ma non danno fastidio). 2-3 stelle alla struttura, come anche su Expedia: l'hotel è abbastanza vecchio e poco corrispondente alle foto del sito, che credo risalgano ormai a qualche anno fa. Un esempio: la carta da parati e la moquette sono alzate in qualche punto, anche nelle camere. 2-3 stelle alle camere: piccoline e spoglie. Nel bagno non ci sono finestre e non c'è areatore quindi si avverte odore di stantio. 2 stelle alla pulizia: le pulizie vengono fatte soltanto il primo giorno, gli altri giorni lavano in terra al bagno, cambiano lenzuola e asciugamani (che però sono pulitissimi). La moquette non è pulita in profondità ed è abbastanza macchiata e sporca. 3 stelle al personale, gentile ma poco organizzato e forse troppo fiscale: siamo arrivati di notte e abbiamo chiesto cortesemente di poter fare il check-in prima dell'orario previsto (ovvero prima delle 14.00) dato che delle persone avevano fatto il check-out ma ci è stato risposto di no. In seguito abbiamo capito il motivo: essendo un hotel piccolino il personale che si occupa della colazione è lo stesso che poi pulisce le camere, quindi le stanze non vengono fatte prima delle 11.00! 5 stelle al ragazzo che fa il turno di notte: super-disponibile! 3 stelle alla colazione: un po’ monotona ma buona. 1 stella al parcheggio: non privato e piccolo
• Ahmad (8/5): An old hotel with nice staff - In the first day, we were given a room on the 4th floor with extremely small bathroom that made it even impossible to use the toilet. The bed was a twin one, even though I requested a double bed in my booking. However, the receptionist was so nice to move us into a double-bed bedroom that was bigger with a great bathroom. All staff were nice and helpful, especially the receptionists. The rooms are air-conditioned, which is a must in such a place. Public transportation is easily accessible, but the times of the bus are ridiculous. So, my advice is to rent a car as it would make it much easier to navigate the island. Now to the most important thing: The sea is not good for swimming at all as it is smelly and extremely rocky. That is why the hotel has a swimming pool. My advice is to book in another area, such as Dassia in order to have a better swimming experience. Otherwise, buy a swimming shoes as it makes it much better to go into the sea.The airport is next to the hotel, and the planes flying past were not a distraction. Actually, it was entertaining! I would suggest to walk 5 minutes to the bridge in the sea and watch the sunset there as the view is really worth it with the arriving planes! If you do not have high expectations, the hotel is good in general. Yet, the price is not justified at all as you can go to better places/hotels, such as in Spain (Barcelona), with comparable prices.

Uima-altaan vesi ällöttävän rasvaista, ei mitään suodatusjärjestelmää altaassa. Hotellin oma ranta käyttökelvoton, merivesi haisee aivan viemäriltä (mereen johtaa putkia hotellista, lieneekö siinä syy). Yöpymiseen kuuluva aamiainen on ala-arvoinen, kattaus ei ala klo 7 kuten luvattu, retkiaamuna jäi aamupala saamatta. Hotellin yli laskeutuu lentokoneet aivan matalalta, joten melutaso on aikamoinen. Hotellin henkilökunta antaa väärää tietoa, mm bussiaikataulut mitkä oli tiskillä esillä olivat väärät.

• kenta (6/5): - Ok hotel between road and stone beach. Every room has balcony towards beach and you didnt hear trafic. But you hear aircraft instead. Pool and a roof/snackbar with good food. Nice staff they fix rental cars and this hotel has at least some parking place.
• Verified traveler (8/5): Bra hotell för kortare vistelse - Bra hotell för att endast ha två stjärnor. De har en trevlig restaurang på taket men fin utsikt, bra frukost, ok pool och hav. Bra hotell för en kortare vistelse då det i längden blir lite störande med alla flygplan som landar dygnet runt (coolt i början men lite segt i längden). Privat trädgård ned till havet (bukten luktar dock lite tång eller något) men med solstolar och som fungerar bra för någon dags sol och bad. Taxi kostar ca 25 euro från Korfus hamn tills hotellet och från hotell till flygplatsen 20.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Turist 2017 - Grei service og god mat på resturangen. Standa luktet direkte kloakk og ambefalast ikkje og bade på greidde heller ikkje og sole oss der på grunn av lukta. Basenget var heilt Ok.

• Derek (4/5): basic and cheap. - I first noticed the hotel was dated, and when we went to our room for the first time we noticed the shower was broken. And the next morning we went to sun bathe on their private beach, but we could not stay as the smell of sewerage was over powering. This smell when the wind blew towards the hotel would be in our room. This hotel should be rated as 2 star at most.
• Ann and Garry (10/5): Wow! - Absolutely great. Hotel was such a suprise. Staff were superb so helpful. We didn't arrive until 2 in the morning but as we got out of the car we were instantly greeted by a great guy who immediately made you feel very welcome. We were there a short time but decided within half an hour we'd go back and we will! Location and views were great. It was lovely. Thank you to all at the staff at the hotel.

• Craig (6/5): Old Hotel with sea views - Initially we were put in a small room on the second floor with an impossible shower and what we thought were bedbugs! We were moved into a different room the next day which was much better and more comfortable. our expectations were not high but it was a good base from which to explore. The staff were all very helpful and public transoprt was easily accessible. The pool, although next to the road, was a reasonable size and clean. Getting into the sea over the stones was a bit of a challenge but swimming shoes helped and we would say is an absolute must. The rooftop bar served snacks and a range of drinks but there were several good places to eat within walking distance which were very well priced. The aircraft flying past was not a distraction and seemed to entertain most guests! The rooms were airconditioned which heled. Overall the hotel delivered on what we expected and we would reurn there but not to the second floor!

• Couple (6/5): Ok hotel - Beautiful views, mediocre breakfast, bad sewage smell in bathroom. Advice: don't take a cab from the airport. It is a very short ride and they charged us 25 euros. There are buses to the airport and Corfu town too.
• Sandyj (6/5): Nice location - The location is great if you want to see Corfu Town. The cafe bar and the food served were reasonably priced and good quality. The service was not particularly good in the hotel. The gentleman at the desk struggled to find a pillow for our daughter even though wine had actually booked a family room. We were informed that there wasn't a room available and she had to sleep with us. We didn't mind this as the bed was big enough but she still needed a pillow. The man gave me what I can only describe as the cushion from an outdoor patio chair. Not clean or comfortable so I declined. Eventually he found one but it was not clean. Having said all this I am used to Greek ways and the location was lovely. Great view and only a short ride on the bus to the centre. It was once considered the eight of luxury I imagine but time, poor investment and the economy has left it looking tired. Better service might compensate for this.
• Ian (6/5): Great Location - Location was fantastic. Bathroom was very poor. Balcony table was broken. Room was oka, but no rubbish bin.. Price was okay, but we would not have paid anymore.
