- Edwin (10/5): Weekend break - Everything!! Firstly the location was perfect...about a 5-10 minutes walk to the front but in a quiet area. There's only a couple of parking spaces but there's a car park more or less opposite which is quite reasonable..we paid £20 for 2 days. The room was small but cosy and nicely decorated and with tea and coffee facilities which were topped up each day. The breakfast was lovely, a full English with everything. But it's the warm welcome we got from Dawn and the lady at breakfast (sorry can't remember her name) that really made our stay. Very informative about what's going on in the area and are really friendly. Will definitely book to come here again...thank you! 🙂
- Raymond Peter (10/5): - Hosts couldn't do enough
- James (7/5): - Excellent location meaning it was easy to come and go. Dawn was amazingly friendly and accommodating.
Good breakfast included. The entrance was a bit cluttered with outside chairs etc. had to squeeze through with our cases.
- Paul (8/5): -

- Martin (9/5): Lovely B&B close to the centre - Location is excellent for the Tower and Winter Gardens. Room was large and breakfast was very good to start the day. Dawn is a lovely hostess and very accommodating if there are any issues.
- Paul (10/5): Very friendly informative staff ,good breakfast,Well worth the money, - very nice breakfast with all the usuals egg, bacon, sausage, beans, tomatoes, hash browns, mushrooms, black pudding, toast and jam, tea or coffee, orange juice. what i liked the best was that you can tick all your favourites and eat what you like which avoids wasted food. Waitress Judith, and Dawn always served with a smile and could not do enough to make our stay very enjoyable. This is a very clean tidy welcoming place and only a 5mins walk to the beach and tower, on a clean safe well lit street with beautiful painted large plant pots . Top value for money .10/10. Nothing , Everything was better than expected , We will be back next time we visit Blackpool.
- Alison's (10/5): Lovely stay. Hosts super welcoming and friendly - Good central location. Good value for money. Comfortable little room, hosts made us feel very welcome . - Adam (9/5): -
- carole (9/5): we enjoyed our stay for the weekend and i would definetly stay next year when we visit blackpool - the breakfast was very good and the staff could not do enough for you asking if you want more breakfast the location was great for us near the winter gardens and the town centre their was nothing i didnt like it was a lovely bed and breakfast the room was a bit small but it was a lovely room and very frendly staff
- Amanda (10/5): - The bed and breakfast was clean and tidy breakfast was lovely staff was very helpful and friendly and it was handy for everything N/A
- Natasha (7/5): The stay was good. The landlady couldn’t do anything more to help us! The first night we stayed it was very noisy outsid - The location was great and near to winter gardens and the shopping centre which was what we needed. The parking across the road was a lot cheaper than most places for 48 hours too, and was easy to get to. The shower was a bit too small for us (especially me being pregnant!) I couldn’t fit in it properly. Also there was no plug sockets near the bed but luckily the landlady got us a spare extension lead so we could both charge our phones.
- Miles (10/5): - 10/10 a hotel that is what you want friendly helpful and welcoming 🙏 😊 Nothing
- Rachel (6/5): - Breakfast Room small
- John (8/5): - the two girls were very helpfull and friendly and served a fantastic breakfast thankyou
- Sue (10/5): -
- Paul (10/5): Very friendly and approachable, would return! - The breakfast was just brilliant! The owners & staff were very welcoming, always making sure everything was ok, very close to the shopping centre, high street & the tower and the beach.
Would 100%return!
- Mal (10/5): - Everything was spotless. Great and nice host
- Daphne (10/5): - Eigenaren zijn geweldig. Bedden zijn echt wat klein
- Annie (10/5): Wonderful stay in Blackpool - From the moment I arrived until 3 days later when I departed, Dawn and Dave as well their helper Judith have been very kind and accommodating. Dawn was well prepared for my arrival and quickly took my breakfast order for my stay before escorting me to my room up a flight of stairs. She asked Dave to carry my suitcase up for me so that I would not hurt my back. The room that I had booked has a shower and a sink inside the room but the toilet is next to the room that is adjacent to mine, which explained why the private bathroom was described as “partially ensuite” on the reservation. I found out during my conversation with Dawn that this is the only room that has its toilet outside while all other rooms have both the shower and the toilet inside the room. That was the only slight inconvenience during my stay to have to go outside of my room to use the toilet, but the room itself is comfortable and offers a lot of natural sunlight since it is facing the street and does not have another building blocking natural light.
The English breakfast that I had every morning was excellent. I was there for an all-day event and the breakfast lasted me until at least 3pm each day so I could focus on enjoying my event with only a few light snacks before dinner. I will definitely be back for the great hospitality, the location which is very central and convenient to enjoy all Blackpool attractions and venues, and the kind honest attentive people who are running this place.
- Harvey (10/5): - Amazing staff clean bedroom nothing to much trouble highly recommended N/A
- Nigel (10/5): - Lovely hotel, staff and owners couldn't do enough for you, very clean, close to winter gardens and a lovely breakfast, also reasonable price, what more could you ask, recommend and will stay again 👍 Nothing
- Chris (10/5): Perfect - Very comfortable, clean room, good breakfast and the staff were very friendly and welcoming, were happy for me to book in hours before book in time and couldn't do enough for you. Perfect location for me, close to the Winter Gardens, sea front and train station. Have already booked for next year!😁 Nothing
- Taren (9/5): Lovely, family orientated and friendly accommodation - Staff were friendly and accommodating, and helped carry bags up to my room. They arranged breakfast take away when I couldn't stay for breakfast. Upgraded me to a better room which was lovely and spacious.
Good location close to Winter Gardens. Family orientated hotel Staircase is narrow and no elevator so be prepared to walk up 3 floors if room is at the top
- Kingstree (9/5): Superb - Great holiday from start to finish good location for all amenities and shows great little hotel very helpfull staff and good breakfast to set you off for the day will recommend to family and friends and will be back in future Very noisy with nesting seagulls with young chick's on roofs but this cannot be helped at this time of year
- Steven (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alan (10/5): Exceptional - Was made so welcome nothing was no trouble Dawn, Debbie,Dave were so friendly The stairs 😆
- Andrew (10/5): Everything perfect. - Everything was perfect, hosts, room, location and breakfast,
Great room, perfect hosts very friendly and helpful
Room was everything we needed.
Location was perfect.
We've already booked to go again Nothing
- Steven (7/5): Had fun time and this was enhanced by Dawn, Judith and Dave - Dawn, Judith and Dave were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. The location was spot on. Due to the nature of the building. Which can't be helped. The room and ensuite bathroom were cramped.
- Louise (9/5): Great Stay - A very warm welcome from Dawn. Room and breakfast really good. Judith who works in the morning at breakfast really friendly, Space for clothes is a hanging rail above drawers perfectly fine for our 2 night stay.
We did have a small issue with the room but dealt with very professionally by Dawn we would definitely return. Free WiFi. Good location not far to town, beach etc... Myself personally prefer wash basin not too be in the bedroom but you can only put what will fit in ensuite.
- Jody (10/5): Perfect location and very friendly hosts. - Came to Blackpool recently for the 10K Music run and stayed at the Delamere for 2 nights as the location so close to the Tower was perfect for us. Dawn and Dave couldn't have been more welcoming, we were greeted by name on arrival and were offered a room upgrade for no extra charge which was perfect for us. The room was spotlessly clean and very well maintained. During our stay they couldnt do enough to help us and make us feel at home, as we were out running in the morning and missed breakfast Dawn offered to make us some when we got back which was very thoughtful and very much appreciated, not something you'd get staying in a larger chain Hotel. What a lovely find the Delamere was, super value, friendly and helpful hosts, clean, safe and quiet rooms, great breakfast and only a few minutes walk to all the main attractions, highly recommended, will definitley stay here again on my next visit.
- Stephen (10/5): Exceptional - The hosts could not do enough for us Nothing to dislike
- David (10/5): Traditional b and b offering top class value and location - Superb breakfast
Friendly hostess takes interest in customers
Excellent facilities
- Matthew (10/5): Exceptional - Room was small but it’s what I booked so expected it. Room was clean tidy and cosy.
Staff was excellent and couldn’t do enough for you. Cooked breakfast in the morning was spot on and had continental items as extra.
Exactly what we needed for 2 nights in the centre of Blackpool. Highly recommend.
- Ivor (8/5): Very good -
- Christopher (10/5): Exceptional - Enjoy everything
- Mark (8/5): Very nice couple and other staff couldn't do anoth for you we will stopping there again - Breakfast was great I had full English my partner had eggs on toast location was why I booked in the first place and good value for money end of the day it was ideal for me somewhere to sleep if I'm been nick picky the toilet was just outside the door but it didn't bother us
- Stephen (6/5): Pleasant -
- Charlotte (10/5): excellent - this place is an absolute gem ... staff go above and beyond nothing
- Nicola (10/5): - We had a two night midweek stay at the hotel with our two children aged 7 and 9. The room was lovely and clean and with two bunkbeds in the room there was no fratching over who was having the top bunk!
The hosts were lovely, very attentive and we had the most amazing breakfast each morning. Nothing was too much trouble and we are all excited to stay again when we are next in Blackpool.
- Ellen (10/5): The stay from start to finish was really good a parking space was made available. Breakfast was served with a smile the - The location was good an easy stroll into the centre. Nothing to complain about.
- Georgia (10/5): Was great from start to finish. Couldn’t have done more for us. Breakfast was lovely and beds were comfy. Would definite - Great hosts, comfy bed and breakfast was lovely. No complaints
- Richard (9/5): Relaxing and most enjoyable - Premier Inn, Travel Lodge, Best Western, and Double Tree by Hilton, could all learn a lesson in good customer service from Dawn and Dave at the Delamere.
Being a returning guest we were greeted with a genuine smile and warmth. Many of the Bigger Boy hotels can seem cold and clinical by comparison. The sincerity and attention to detail can be seen in those little touches that make anyone's stay so welcoming and relaxing.
Dawn is a bit of a workaholic, with great attention to detail. She has high standards when it comes to cleanliness and hygiene. Nothing is too much trouble for her as good customer satisfaction is her number-one goal.
Many people like us, are returning guests. That alone should speak volumes as to why people keep on come back to the Delamere, time and time again.
Dawn and Dave, thank you for a lovely stay, see you both again soon. Nothing comes to mind.
- Shirley (10/5): Exceptional -
- Raymond (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, couldn't do enough for you, would go out of way to get what you needed
- Lillian (10/5): Lovely stay - Dawn was lovely and could not do more for you. The room was lovely and clean and plenty of tea and coffee. The breakfast was lovely and hot and plentiful. The ladies who served breakfast ( sorry I didn’t get your name ) was really lovely. A really nice stay and will definitely stay here again.
- Bramwell (7/5): Good - Everything was perfect The only thing that let this hotel down was the shower the pressure was shocking. The water came out very slow
- Brocklehurst (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic hosts. Made us very welcome.
Lovely clean accommodation.
Nice comfy bed.
Perfect breakfast.
Absolutely one of the best B&Bs we have stayed at.
Highly recommended.
- Daniel (8/5): Very good -
- David (10/5): Exceptional - Really friendly owners and staff who will go beyond what's needed to make your stay a very good one well recommended locality excellent for Blackpool Town Everything was fine during our stay
- Penelope (8/5): Thank you - The hosts were very welcoming & helpful
Breakfast was fresh & tasty every day, they helped with parking over a busy Easter weekend & giving each guest an Easter Egg was a lovely gesture. The room was small, but clean & very quiet. The location suited me as it was just a short walk to the Winter Gardens.
- Lisa (8/5): Very good -
- Lynsey (10/5): Exceptional - Great stay, would highly recommend, lovely staff and great location
- Stacy (10/5): Exceptional - Me and my 15yr old daughter have just got home after a 2 nights stay at the Delamere Hotel in Blackpool.
Dawn and Andy (hosts) were very friendly, approachable, and couldn't do enough for us.
We chose the smaller room, but it was all we needed, the bed was very comfortable.
Thank you Dawn & Andy 😁
Highly recommended.
- Rosie (10/5): Welcoming and friendly, great communication . - We had such a nice welcome from Dawn, she reserved a car space for us and then gave us an upgrade to a bigger room as we had a lot of bags. The place was lovely and quiet and very clean, would definitely come here again! Nothing.
- Leo (8/5): Very good -
- Phillip (10/5): Exceptional -
- Antonia (10/5): Just perfect - Absolutely amazing hosts
Nothing was to much trouble, Dawn and Judith such lovely ladies, slept so well, the bed was really comfortable, breakfast amazing, little details like star shaped fried bread melted my heart, and especially getting me my porridge and fruit.
Perfect location for the town/tower and winter gardens just a short walk, paid parking available right opposite hotel, Nothing
- Mary (9/5): Superb -
- Graham (10/5): Exceptional - Very comfortable, friendly and welcoming. Good location close to seafront and town centre. Lovely full English breakfast
- Scott (10/5): - I loved it!
- Tracey (9/5): A B&B like they used to be. Warm welcome and great hospitality! - Loved Dawn, she was so accommodating. Recommend this place for anyone that is coeliac or gluten free. Dawn took this seriously and prepared it separately and had a gf toaster. The room was small but had everything we needed. It was a short walk to the tower. The bed was a little wobbly and rocked when either of us turned over. But still slept well.
- Jacqueline (5/5): Passable - New owners . Lovely people but need to chill out abit more . Breakfast shouldn’t be have to be booked by time you go on holiday to get up when your ready not to have to be a breakfast for a certain time . A time scale of an hour and half would be good
- Veneta (10/5): Exceptional - Dawn and Dave were very welcoming. They made you feel like family.
- Tracy (10/5): Mini break - Just had x2 night way at Delamere Hotel .Our first visit .We had a warm friendly welcome from Dawn & David .Nothing too much trouble for them very accommodating. Hotel Room clean .comfy bed. Good breakfast to set up for the day. Excellent location to all amenities.
Would recommend Delamere Hotel for anyone wanting to stay in Blackpool
- Anthony (8/5): Just the ticket - location to everything.
Dawn & Judith were both lovely and very attentive. nothing all good
- Amy (10/5): Lovely little hotel. - Dawn was very welcoming and attentive during our stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable, ample storage for what we needed. Only thing I'd say would be to have an electric outlet closer to the head end of the bed for phone charging.
- Lance (8/5): Very good -
- Denise (10/5): Excellent stay, and all staff very helpful - Everything made to feel very welcome Nothing
- Caron (10/5): Highly recommend - Everything about this B&B is excellent, from the warm, friendly greeting from Dawn & Dave, the comfortable rooms, gorgeous breakfast (especially the Scrambled Eggs), the friendly ambience in the bar at night and the dogs. You arrive as a guest and leave as a friend. Excellent location vlise enough to walk to all the attractions but far enough away from the front to be very quiet. Nothing
- Laura (10/5): Exceptional -
- June (8/5): A fantastic host and we will definitely be returning! - Due to being a Genius member breakfast was free and also very good with plenty of choices! Location was amazing for our needs as very close to Blackpool Tower where our event was on. Beds were extremely comfortable and the room was perfect for a weekend stay. Owner Dawn couldn’t do enough for so she was so helpful and friendly. Dawn recommended a local Italian restaurant that was so good with fabulous food and service that we ate there for both nights of our stay. The restaurant is called Amaro which is only a 5 minute walk from the b&b! Room was cold when heating was off and shower ran only cold water at teatime. Dawn only took over the b&b this year so was extremely interested in feedback on our stay as she’s very keen to improve the facilities she and her husband provides.
