The best breakfast ever. And so quiet and peaceful as it is not in a town, but only a 5-10 minute drive to Wexford.

It is a very pleasant end to our regular visits to Ireland and very convenient for the ferry. everything that I have said in my previous reviews still applies and it is particularly pleasing to see a business that retains it high standards of service and hospitality. Killiane is a very good combination of professionalism and friendliness.
- Sharon (8/5): - Country castle for sure. Loved walking around the property as there were many animals, gardens and neighboring properties to explore. Hosts were not welcoming at all! They seemed rather rude, stressed, too busy to be friendly. When I checked in there was only one other car in the parking area and I only saw one couple arrive while I was there. $15 euro for breakfast which I did not partake off. Only stayed one night as I was just needing a place to sleep.

My wife had the porridge to start with a dash of Baileys, and then the best scrambled eggs ever.i had the most amazing selection of fruits followed by a gorgeous cooked breakfast. - Gwenno (10/5): - Delightful stay in Killiane Castle Hotel. It's a short taxi journey from both Rosslare harbour and Wexford, and we were thrilled to be accommodated in one of the apartments. It had a fresh and contemporary feel to it, with a welcoming living room-diner area, and a comfortable, immaculate bed. All the facilities needed, including a radiator for chillier days, iron, hairdryer, and kitchen equipment. Towels in the bathroom were a bit dated, but aside from that it was perfect.
- Lynda (10/5): Beautiful property - Friendly welcome & we were told where our room was and that we could make use of the lounge and the honesty bar in there. There was also a little area which had tea/coffee and homemade cake which was complimentary, a lovely touch and the cake was delicious! Our room/bed was very comfortable, we didn’t have breakfast as we had to leave really early for the ferry.

We met their dog Daisy and she showed us around the front yard haha. Chickens, Cows, Donkeys, they have it all here. Room was beautifully decorated and lots of room to move around. Highly recommend at least 1 night stay to see for yourself.

- Dick (10/5): Cosy and relaxed - Very cosy and relaxed country house. Our deluxe room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Lighting was good. The breakfast is really good except for anaemic, American style coffee. The offer of a decent double esspresso or americano would make it perfect. This is an ideal one night stop before or after a ferry sailing.

Our room was essentially in the Castle courtyard. We also went up in castle. It was fun and staff made it easy for us. The farm was pretty too. I would definitely recommend for service and rooms and being historic.

The hotel portion is attached to the castle and was built in the 1700’s. It is well taken care of and had all the amenities of an expensive hotel. The breakfast was amazing with a buffet of homemade granola, jams and toast and a very extensive menu with made to order items, including oatmeal with Baileys Irish Cream! Everything was delicious! We also enjoyed conversing with the friendly owners throughout our stay. This is a top notice establishment, truly a highlight of our time in Ireland. Our only regret is that we did not stay longer!

Our only issue was a slightly moldy smell, which I imagine is to be expected considering the age of the castle.
- Angela (10/5): Sublime hotel; top hospitality - We return to Killiane Castle time after time for the faultless hospitality we enjoyed once again . Rooms are reliably comfortable and spotlessly clean. Our hosts are genuinely engaged in providing a warm welcome, even down to the 24hr refreshment nook under the stairs with delicious homemade cake. Breakfast was superb and served in the elegant morning room; several delicious hot options and an extensive buffet of cold options for non-carnivores. “Earl Grey infused apricots” were much enjoyed. The proximity to Rosslare port makes this an ideal choice for a stop before or after the ferry; however there is plenty in the locality (golf, heritage, restaurants, shopping) to make it a good base for a longer stay in “The ancient east”. Don’t miss it!

- Ruth (10/5): A relaxing end/start to a holiday - Beautifully quiet and very helpful, especially with breakfast, which was excellent. This is an ideal place to stay if you're catching the ferry - but give yourself time the evening before for the farm walk. I didn't and wish I hadn.

- Barry (10/5): - It is always pleasant to receive more than expected and Killiane Castle delivered that in spades. The 15th century castle is spectacular and the 17th century manor house (where we stayed) was so beautiful and comfortable. We had a delightful walk around the grounds last night and was able to peak in on some of the ruins of the castle. Since this is a sustainable farm, all of the breakfast fixings came from property. Delicious! A staff member recommended The Farmers Kitchen at the entrance to the property for dinner and, like the castle itself, we were not disappointed. Excellent experience all around.

- Brent (10/5): Stay here! - This was a great place to stay. The owners were really nice. We got in late and had a hard time finding a place to have dinner nearby but ended up going to a pub that served food. We had a lot of luggage that was hard to bring up all the stairs because we were on the top floor. Our room was a bit small but it had everything we needed. The bathroom was a good size. Everything was clean and comfortable. Breakfast the next morning was great. I wish we could've stayed longer. I would stay here again!
