Guest Reviews
- Verified traveler (6/5): - it looks better on pictures. Rooms are small and beds also... no chairs on balconies. not enough fruits at breackfast, not real coffe....no vegeterial healthy menue...
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very good staff breakfast good. Easy access to all areas of kuta
- maxwellwilkinso (10/5): - Friendly very helpful staff. Pleasure to stay there
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The pool was closed, breakfast was not very nice really carted to India people not North America.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Staff nice beds too hard and pool not up to standard
- Verified traveler (4/5): - My husband and I stayed at this hotel whilst travelling around Bali. The room was spacious BUT the location on a cross junction of continuous noise traffic was horrendous, they didn’t mention that in the description. You couldn’t make it up about the pool the angled photograph make it look huge and amazing when you see it’s a small pool squeezed in between both sides of the hotel and totally overlooked, the sun loungers are filthy dirty, the towels were grey and frayed. The staff need some serious hospitality training because I would rate the hotel 2 stars. We completed as requested the satisfaction survey and handed to the receptionist only for her to open look at then put it under the desk....to which I can only assume the bin as it was pretty damming, that shows how much they care about there customers!
I would not recommend or stay there ever again
- Verified traveler (2/5): - The property is very poor design, they put us to the room that very very far away from the elevator, and my sister has foot problems...
walk up and down not convenient. also it have no WIFI internet in the room, they says technician is working on that, but I stay for three days have nothing is fix, if I know it no WIFI I should not select this Hotel...
Its was a very bad time for the three days that I stay in this hotel, I request to refund my money.
- Ruth (10/5): Yes stay here - Great place to stay clean tidy. Staff alsome. Cant wait to go back.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Had a pleasant stay at the pool suit. Good and clean place to stay if want to visit Kuta beach and away from all the noise and people. Lots of restaurant and 24hrs shops. However, the properties condition are not well maintained, aircon and tap kept leaking, kettle doesn’t function well and their iron and board are spoilt. Overall it was relaxing, just disappointed with the equipments in the room.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - staffs were really nice to us!
I want to stay again. Thank you!
- Jennifer (4/5): Park Regis not up to scratch - I stayed 3 weeks in a suite with plunge pool. Staff were wonderful.
Room was in poor condition and bathroom was unsatisfactory. Bath was filthy and drains smelly.
The PadiPadi restaurant was very nice and food was good and reasonably priced.
Breakfast was mediocre.
Telephone in room does not work for local or overseas calls.
I would not recommend this hotel unless you can get a renovated room.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Couldn't check in on time.
Room was nice.
Breakfast was average.
Found a cleaner in our room late one night after it had already been cleaned that day, asked at reception why he was in our room again and they said the deluxe pool rooms are serviced twice a day, the second cleaner didn't clean anything though when we walked in he was pretending to make the bed which had already been made that day and not touched since.
Room service rings door bell at around 10pm and if you don't answer rings continuously until you do. Struggled to get pool towels left in our room each day.
Room service dishes left in our room for 2 days even though room was cleaned.
Rats scratching in the roof keeps you up all night.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - This hotel is nothing like what was pictured. We decided to stay here because we had a late flight and had to check out early of our previous hotel and needed a place to unwind and chill at before we departed.
- RT (2/5): - horrible place! will not stay here again...i tried to cancel the reservation will not allow. it is in a very unsafe place.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Quiet and always restocking water. Safe environment. Friendly staff.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Nothing was great looked fine but quite a few things were broken. Beds hard, only used as an overnighted so wasn’t too fussed.
- Joshua (10/5): lovely hotel to stay at - i stay here many time and i still love it, very spacious and clean and tidy, only feedback is the aircon need servicing, it very loud on the lowest setting
- Sondra (10/5): - Comfortable room with great air-con. Would definitely stay here again!
- Idris (8/5): - Big space but pool was abit dirty. Hope the manegement will improve on that.
- Robert (4/5): - The front rooms on the road are very noisy. Traffic junction right outside
- Verified traveler (8/5): - There were no place to hang towels at the splash pool.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Nice place, large rooms, and excellent breakfast. The staff were superb and very friendly and went out of their way to help you specially Aris she should be the VP of public relations her smile and care is outstanding
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Clean, great staff, very large rooms great breakfast. Very nice place to stay
- Ting (10/5): - Staff was so kind
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Staff were fantastic
Didn’t like that the doona was stained
- Glenn (2/5): - Park Regis looks nothing like the photos online. Very deceiving and disappointing.
Also, when I left my room key card in my room, hotel reception just printed me a new one and let me go on my way... no ID check, no questions asked. I could have been anyone!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Staff all really nice, great deals at the poolside bar!
- Elle (10/5): - Staff are amazing nothing is too much trouble. Fab breakfast & dinner exceptional. Well worth a visit
- Tom (8/5): - Hotel was good and the staff very nice. However, my wife is disabled and needs a walker so I have to say Bali was very difficult for her and would not recommend for others in similar condition. In particular the footpaths if they are there at all are very rough with lots of potholes and the like. Also there are always lots of stairs and either no or ridiculously steep ramps. On the other hand if you are able bodied, Bali is great you will have loads of fun
- Neng (2/5): - air con leaking badly and they could have alternative to compensate but none.
- TJHANG bu (8/5): - swimmingpool is not to big like in pic
- Reza (4/5): Can be improve.. - First time and might be the last, me and my wife will be staying there. Firstly, upon arrival, the receptionist was kinda rude. He didn’t even tell or show us where is the location of the room as this is the first time we are there. Secondly, The safe box was locked. I called the front office to get somebody to unlock the safe box but no one came.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Nice clean rooms, great bathroom/toilet facilities. Close to shops/restaurants.
- noh (2/5): Dont go - Bad location! Grab drivers hardly accept this location! Traffic is bad in this road more then any other kuta street! Rooms were awe full, bed and pillow was so soft! I checked out after my 1st night! I had remaining 3 nights!!
- farina (10/5): Great hotel - I love to stay in Regis park hotel it was good nice and comfortable
- Tarik (6/5): Clean room average food and location. - Room was prefect however we did request a quiet room and it wasn't quiet. You go to your balcony to have people in the restaurant looking straight at you. Woke up from the noise of restaurant. Breakfast was mostly Indian food. Had dinner which they used 2 minute noodles.
- J (6/5): - the hotel massage is bad, still ask for tips. the breakfast dose not have much variety. either too sweet or too salty.
- melanie (8/5): Great Value hotel in good location - I am so glad I left my other hotel & booked an extra night at the Park Regis. The staff at reception were awesome. The room was clean & confortable. The air con & the shower were perfect. The only thing I would change perhaps is maybe get new towels as they look a bit worn & some cutlery in the room. Other than that it was a really good stay at great value.
Not sure if the spa is affiliated with the hotel. But I wanted to make appointments the day I got there & the next morning. The treatments were to be in excess of 3hrs & would have been expensive. I was not able.to charge to my room. They demanded I pay upfront. As a business traveler, I don't carry my cash or cards around when I go down to a spa or the pool & charge everything to my room. Hence I decided to cancel the 2.5 hr package & the treatments. My suggestion would be to make the spa more user friendly by allowing guests to charge to their rooms. Besides this definitely will recommend the Park Regis
- Sandra (10/5): Great Hotel - Great hotel with wonderfull staff. We made
good use of free area shuttle while staying here. Excellent stay!
- James (10/5): Wonderful location hotel with amazing staff - Me and two other boys went over for 12 nights and stayed at Park Regis Kuta! What an incredible hotel this is. The staff are incredible and go the extra mile to attend with any queries we may have had. The pool, sundeck, and bar were awesome with us spending a lot of time there with the staff! Beautiful buffet breakfast supplied every morning also. The rooms were cleaned and beds made every morning. Generous sized room, we had top floor so nice view of pool and bar area. Conveniently located 15 minutes walk to skygarden and Kuta beach, supermarket across the road, lots of local restaurants and bars. Was a great trip all around! Would definitely stay again at Park Regis Kuta! Would recommend to any other groups of mates or couples to stay here.
- sophie (10/5): Staff were beautiful - A little walk to the markets but at least you’re out of the market chaos. Mareta and nopi were the most amazing staff members that we’d met there and went 100% out of their way to help us. Rooms were beautifully clean and food was cheap and nice
- Joshua (10/5): Excellent - AMAZING!!!
- Y (8/5): Great location and quiet hotel - Everything was great about this hotel except its pool. Not according to expectation and as featured on website. The worst part is getting a rash from the pool water and did not touch the pool ever again during my stay.
- Gaurav (2/5): Anniversary Trip. - My Stay was not amazing. I face a lot of issue. There were no tour person. Neither Money Exchanger Facility was there. Further the breakfast was very bad as i was vegetarian and the locality was too.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice hotel - Positive and great experience .
The staff were professional and accommodating
- Lim (10/5): Excellent Hotel with very clean and spacious room! - The hotel is located in the outskirts of Kuta, the hotel was very clean, spacious and had a welcoming feel. The bed and linings were comfortable. The hotel also had a pool and a basic gym.
The location of the hotel wasn’t ideal for tourist looking to be closer to the thick or the action in KUTA/Seminyak, however, taxi were readily available and we had a tour guide driving us around.
The staff professionalism were also commendable.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - It was fine. Check in process not very smooth.
No breakfast included in my package inspite of price being the same and a 4 night package.
Housekeeping had to be given a call everyday, as they missed out something or the other,
- allendoris1217 (10/5): very good value and friendliness staff - overall very good except the pillow looks old and not very comfortable to sleep
- Srikanth (6/5): customer service was not friendly - I feel that I should get best hotel what I spent
- christie (10/5): Great hotel and great staff! - Everything about the hotel was Great, comfortable, clean, good food, good drinks and most of all the best staff especially bar staff
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice and clean hotel - The hotel is located at walking distance from the beach, rooms are nice and clean but the views for some rooms are not that great!
- Prakriti (8/5): very nice extra value for money hotel - Amazing. The place is quite close to Airport, beaches and south side temples of Kuta region. Breakfast for Indian vegetarians is also quite nice. The rooms are quite nicely done and hotel is walking distance from nearby popular market as well as beach. I happened to hire acar for my 5 day trip and hotel has nice parking lot free for their guest. They graciously supplied few utencils like plate, cups, bowls etc to prepare our own meals. There is a large supermarket just next to Hotel and is very helpful for vegetarian people.
- Monir (8/5): Good but far - All the facilities are good except about one and half km away from the beach. I had no prob cause i hired a bike and explored the city.
- Cherry (10/5): Nice hotel - At last a Bali hotel with decent night lighting so I can read in bed. Excellent room with no adjoining room noise. Value lunch deals. Check in was delayed
- Joshua (10/5): AMAZING NEAT AND TIDY!!! : ) - AMAZING!!!! super clean, neat and tidy, spacious, love it!!!!
- niki (10/5): Great Hotel Great Staff - After a delayed check in and having to wait half an hour, The hotel was clean and had great service. The highlight of our stay was Level 2 bar staff Gede, Armini and all the other great staff working in this area. This hotel is a 20minute walk to Kuta Beach and main district.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Very cinvinienve location to hotel and the beach. - Nice hotel with a reasonable price. Ok breakfast but the coffee does not taste as good as expected. Need to upgrade the coffee to a better taste and quality since Bali and Indonesia are well known in its Coffee products
- Ed (8/5): Decent hotel, very reasonably priced. - Staff are very helpful. Rooms are sizeable and clean. Breakfast buffet is a bit monotonous but price is very reasonable so can't complain.
- kate (6/5): Stop over only - This hotel is ok for a quick stop over after a flight. I would not stay any longer. Room and bathroom were average and felt quite dirty and the room service menu is terrible.
Staff are helpful and friendly though.
- Trinity (6/5): Location is a plus - We really loved the location and the staff were great but......the bed was rock solid and so uncomfortable. Had read the ratings and saw others had written the same but booked anyway as value for money is what this hotel had to offer.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Good service and friendly staff - There aren't a lot of shops near the hotel and needed to walk further. Service was great and staff are really friendly. Room was comfy.
- central, (8/5): Small rooms - Small but clean room good for 2 nights
10 minutes wolk from shops
- Verified traveler (8/5): 3 - Our overall stay was pleasant, however the hotel is quite a distance away from the main touristy roads & areas & it takes a toll on you to go up & down especially late at night when you tired & worn out from a long busy day. The breakfast wasn't very impressive. There wasn't many options for non-meat eaters.
- celeste (6/5): Staff are amazing people - Buffet breakfast very poor.
Pool looks a lot bigger in the photos than it is. Only 5 sun loungers as there was 6 of us this didn't work well.
Room was comfortable and clean glad we got 50% off as at full price it won't have been good value.
It's a far way out of Kuta.
The staff were fantastic thanks
- stefanie (2/5): Very disappointing - Nobody told us that there would be not be pool running during our stay. We were not informed about this until after we had paid and no discount was given. We decided to move to another hotel becuase of this. No refund was given. Don't stay here.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - There's a supermart right across the street. Staff where friendly. Sadly pool was closed during my visit.
- raelene (10/5): Nice hotel very friendly staff and very clean - Loved staying there beautiful people very clean would definitely stay there again
- Ritchie (6/5): Cheap - The only reason we booked this hotel was for the last night of our trip as it was close to the airport. It was the cheapest we could find but there wasn't any issue with the hotel keeping in mind the price paid. There are a lot of great options for stay in Bali but if your looking for something to be really pocket-friendly then this is the ideal place!
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Had promised airport drop but did not provide one upon reaching
- Adam (8/5): Great hotel, close to everything - The staircase leading you to the restaurant are quite steep and very slippery when it rains. Staff were polite and always happy to help. The hotel drivers are a little pricey, always starting at IDR 100,000, better off to get a Bluebird Taxi. Overall it was a nice, well presented hotel, but I did stay in a Deluxe Pool Suite. Will stay there again, in the future.
- halimah (4/5): bad attitude of reception staff - when I arrived at 12pm, I ask if there is a prayer room for public use in the hotel. unfortunately, as a 4 star hotel they didn't provide this facilities and I cant check in to my room until 2pm. for me its a shame when you didn't provide the basic of facilities for islam country while you are rating your hotel as high level hotel. the reception staff is note helpful at all when I need a laundry service, they ask me to send down my laundry to the reception counter by myself because they are too busy to collect from my room. overall this hotel make me feel disappointed.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Close to beach - It was an extremely warm place to stay. The ventilation at the padi padi restaurant could have been improved. The dinner menu was attractive but the servings were very very small.
- Moegsien (4/5): NOT TOO IMPRESSED GENERALLY - OUR STAY WAS FAIR AND STAFF MOSTLY OKAY
- Waylon (6/5): - overall had a pleasant stay. room and drinks at the hotel I felt was over priced, you can find a comparable place in a better location for far cheaper. I paid $11 a night at place with a far nicer pool and pretty comparable room way closer to the beach. A nice hotel but I'd say its over rated. Probably would not stay here again only because of the price.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Its great
- Verified traveler (8/5): Comfort of your home - We were greeted by a friendly staff who always ready to serve us.
- markie (8/5): VERY GOOD DUPLEX POOL ROOM. - Friendly staff, very good pool room. Average buffet breakfast. Overall will stay there again
- Kai Jie Samuel (8/5): Room was clean and breakfast was good - Room was clean and breakfast was good
- Pats (4/5): will not stay here again and would not recommend - we are taken to our room and find that the a/c doesn't work, we complain and ask for another room.
change room a/c better. having brekkie next morning and some of the cups were dirty and then the guy comes through the area with the dirty mop and bucket while we are eating!
all in all not the hotel for us, we were booked for 6 nights but only stayed 1.
- Lye (6/5): - Room was big n spacious but e kitchenette area n sink was half choked n dirty.. Only tat e bathroom has no bathtub..
Selection of in-room dining menu very limited but food was well prepared n delicious. Pool was super miserably small, n e cafe created an inconvenience as we had to pass tru e cafe to e poolside area.
Walkin distance to sky park area n war memorial & e shoppin area abt a gd 10-15mins... n the chinese ocean restaurant beside e hotel serves very nice cheap n afforable food.
Overall experience, good.
- Rozalina (8/5): Convenient, peaceful area but hotel a bit wore out - Hotel a bit wore out. Bunch of lazy staffs. But good view from the balcony which is overlooking the pool. Good size room and location about 10 mins walking from the busy Legian/Kuta area. Convenient for food. KFC/AlfaMart located just next to it.
- Rozalina (6/5): Convenient but rooms a bit wore out... - This hotel is getting from bad to worse since the first it started.Inattentive staffs starting from front desk till the technicians.I chose to stay only because of the convenient location, which I'm quite used to it.Prices are way too high looking at the conditions of the rooms/hotel.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Thumbsup! - Requested for a microwave but there's no microwave given. Hotel was exactly the same in the pictures given. Room were very cosy and comfortable. There's not much choices of food for breakfast buffet. Overall, it worth the stay and value for money.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Nice and Clean - Nice and Clean but its in the busiest part of Bali.
- Glenn (8/5): The best distance from the centre of Kuta - This hotel is an ideal distance from the bars and the centre of Kuta, Its close enough to be able to walk into town but far enough away, to be quiet at night. The hotel is slightly dated but clean, and seems well maintained, and all the staff are polite and always smiling. Luckily i only paid for room and not bed and breakfast, as i found the breakfast buffet very limiting and not inspiring, so it was easier and cheaper to walk into Kuta centre for breakfast rather than use the hotel, but this is really the only negative about the hotel.
I would definitely stay there again when visiting Kuta.
- Alice (10/5): Like the hotel and will recommend to friends. - This Hotel is clean and 15 minutes walk to Kuta Beach.
- Siddhartha (4/5): Easily avoidable. - The view promised was pool view but actually, it was a restaurant view - so balcony became useless, as diners would keep staring at us. Room entrance was even worse - opposite to some dilapidated dirty ruins.
The dining staff was pretty rude. Warm milk for tea - go ask at the bar; at the bar - the machine broke, can't do anything. Breakfast and menu was also pretty average (and pathetic for vegetarians). Also, how in a country with subtropical hot climate, they don't have any AC or even a functional fan (there were decorative fans) at the restaurant?
The local area was all too good for distance from market place (Karthika Plaza street - the main marketplace of Kuta is some 2 kms away), constant traffic congestion, and non-AC reception area.
Check-in experience was pretty average - we reached at 1230 and were told to wait till 2. So we went to the market and came back in the evening. They thankfully took our luggage in the cloakroom. Other than that, the staff was pretty uninterested and was happy to talk amongst themselves rather than the guests' concerns.
Room space and cleanliness was okay for the price we paid (INR 2,400 each night or USD 40 approx). Nothing truly remarkable or bad about that.
I'd suggest to avoid the property, if for nothing else, at least the location. There is nothing worthwhile nearby. Go to Kartika Plaza street instead, if you want to enjoy Bali.
- Bellasan (2/5): - Terrible breakfast, there isn't top up to finished displayed food. Bring up to hotel staffs, but they are irresponsive.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Wifi was not working inside the rooms. I ask for an iron and they never get back to me. I feel neglected by the staffs in park regis. But the rooms are okay i loved our room except the staff inefficiency to respond back to customer
- Nas (8/5): 1-week stay at Park Regis Kuta - I booked one of the suites where a plunge pool was included. Beautiful setting, plus the area just outside the pool is large enough to drag a few chairs outside for a massage or just to chill with a cold beer.
The living room/bedroom combo idea is also great, as the living room provides a nice ambience to have takeaways or room service while watching the TV provided; which I might add, offers a wide selections of local and international programmes. Plus, the signal is good too, so all shows can be seen very clearly.
While initially we were bothered by it, the fact that your housekeeping Leads checked on our room every morning and night is actually a plus point as you will never know when you need additional towels, bottles of water or even cutlery for our takeaways. The "DO-not-disturb" sign was well respected.
Overall, a truly pleasant stay throughout the entire duration.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The Park Regis was Great value for money, the swimming pool was nice and all the staff were very friendly and helpful when it came to helping with with tours etc,24 hour room service which came in a handy for food after a few nights out which was a bonus, the rooms were modern and comfortable distance to all amenities in Kuta and the airport is less than a half hour drive even on the busy roads from Denpasar
- Beverly (8/5): Convenient polite staff clean rooms - Fantastic hotel
Breakfast can be a bit boring after a few mornings Not a varied assortment for Australians
- Gareth (6/5): Good for the price - Nice hotel, good choice of food and ok free breakfast. Bar doesn't seem to attract outsiders so it's not too busy and loud. Wifi was hit and miss even though I was able to login to the router from my phone and reboot it (shhhhh). No chairs or table on the balconies which would be a nice addition so you're not eating your room service in a bed or computer desk. Pool is the as big as it looks in the pictures. Would of rated 4 but for the Internet... 1st world problems I know.
- Nola (4/5): Disappointing - This hotel needs to learn a lot about Cleanliness and customer service. The staff were lovely, however the hotel is run down and unfortunately they have no idea on how to clean rooms and restock the tea and coffee facilities. The towels were threadbare and the beds were way too hard. The pool area was very small and in need of a spruce up and the pool overlooked a filthy river. Overall very disappointing and would only rate it a 3 star if that.
- Paul (8/5): loved the pool - The pool was just what we needed. Breakfast was disappointing.
- Mohammed Farhan (10/5): Minutes away from the airport. - Only 15 minutes from the Ngurah Rai International airport and 10 minutes walk from the Kuta beach, the location of the hotel is perfect for both beach lovers and business travellers.
- Jayce (6/5): overall in order - 1) The water supply was not in order, sometime water pressure very high, but sometime low.
2) Aircon in the room was noisy, especially during night time (quite time).
3) Hygiene problem as the hotel staff bring the trolley together with those broom, dustbin etc. pass by the restaurant area during the breakfast time.
- Muhammad (6/5): A Fair Deal - Great breakfast and clean rooms, however two out of three rooms we booked had noisy AirCon. One was fixed after we complained but the other had be changed as it couldn't be fixed.
Check in took almost 45 minutes because staff couldn't find our bookings for three rooms. We didn't get all three rooms together despite making a request well and truly in advance.
- CAROL (6/5): Average stay at good price - The staff in reception and restaurant were very nice and the food was tasty. The room was good though there was no chair on the balcony. The pool needed a good clean with dirty tiles and a layer of grease on the water.
- Verified traveler (8/5): nice hotel - me and my wife decide to booked this hotel because the price, location and the private pool. the room was nice, big and comfortable. the only minus point from the room is the doors especially the 1 connect to pool, i got lock outside by self lucky my wife was inside the room so she opened the door for me. And furniture too, i think its time to get the new one. but so far we stayed there we enjoyed the room a lot especially the pool.
