Guest Reviews
- Dr Mercedes (10/5): - It feels like you are staying at a botanical garden surrounded by hibiscus and other plants with nearby native animals in the surrounding rainforest. We were awakened by the call of howler monkeys and the peeps of geckos every morning at sunrise, and saw toucans and other birds nesting in nearby tress during the day - mostly early morning and near dusk. Also families of howler monkeys in the trees. The hotel area includes a trail (about 1.5 km) into the rainforest and across a creek that is well maintained and similar to those at Silencio or Mistico. The buffet breakfast was fantastic!
- DONNA (10/5): - The property is very well kept, with lovely plants that attract all types of birds to watch with the Arenal volcano in the backdrop. Our villa was comfy and had a porch that allowed one to sip coffee and enjoy the view. It is also close to the excursions we chose to do, with a great breakfast buffet with local and traditional options to choose from. Would highly recommend!
- Belkis (6/5): - The road inside is not paved, is a dirt road. The cabins are big with lots of space. This property is very small with 12 or 14 cabins only. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a good variety of food and very tasty. we liked everything they prepared, On the back of the property they have a trail that end in a river , very nice walk. The property is literally at the foot of the Arenal volcano, you will have astonish view from your front porch.
- CARLOS (10/5): - Breakfast was fresh and delicious. Hotel is surrounded by great vegetation and grass.
- Lise (10/5): - The view of the volcano was superb.
- Tyler (10/5): - Super nice place to stay, great views and breakfast as well.
They have a nice 1 to 2 mile trail onsite in the forest with streams. Really nice place to be
- VIKRAM (10/5): - It is very clean eco friendly, we enjoyed staying there for 2 nights. Nice view of volcano arenel from the room, nice trail within the property. I highly recommend.
- Rebbekka (10/5): - Amazing location, super clean, great staff, great breakfast! Definitely worth the stay here.
- Suzanne (8/5): - Nice property. A few ants. Have stayed there before and would again. Pull out bed very uncomfortable. Nice trail on the property and good breakfast.
- Charles (10/5): - Peaceful
- Devin (10/5): - Awesome service. Awesome accommodations. Awesome town area!
- shanthi (10/5): - Excellent location, nice clean individual rooms and the service is so good. Breakfast is super yummm…Glad I stayed here.
- Betty (8/5): - Very homey. Bed was comfortable and the atmosphere was nice and quite. Very nice hotel.
- Yuliana (10/5): - Amazing piece, right in the middle of the nature. Beautiful big room, renovated bathroom, hot water. Safe, fridge and coffee maker in the room. We also had a sitting area with the sofa. Very comfy bed. Excellent traditional breakfast. Nice patio to sit outside and watch birds (lots of hummingbirds, toucans etc.). Very good own hiking trail.
- Hiba (10/5): - Adorable lodges on a beautiful property. Plus the volcano view outside your room never gets old!!
- Verified traveler (6/5): - The stay was fine. The rooms are not the newest but in acceptable condition The location is great and offers great views. Unfortunately I have forgotten an item of clothing behind that I came for the next morning and guest services advised it was not there. Very disappointing.
- Maria (10/5): - Nice and rustic place.
Clean and just what you need.
- Dana (8/5): Happiness - Beautiful location. Great view of the volcano. Clean comfortable room!
- Peter (10/5): - Getting to look at the Volcano was amazing while relaxing on our deck to the cabin. The staff were really great and friendly. Would recommend this place.
- Deborah (10/5): - It was so wonderful here. We stayed two nights. The sustainable farm element was a wonderful bonus that we loved. Sunsets and rainbow sitings were spectacular here. All the staff were so lovely and accommodating. It was always a pleasure to interact with them. It was about 25 min. drive to selvatura
- Andres (8/5): - A well maintained property with wonderful views of the Arenal volcano. The cabins are very spacious and well equipped. Staff was polite and helpful. Breakfast was very good! For the price I believe this B&B Hotel is a very good option in La Fortuna.
- Sufia (10/5): Excellent - Excellent location and cabins. Unfortunately, luck wasn’t on our side with a week full of rain, so we didn’t get the volcano view we were hoping to experience when we booked this specific place. Daybur was especially so wonderful and excellent in providing information on surrounding areas and answering our questions about different activities and recommendations.
- Christine (10/5): - Affordable, seperate huts, clean, absolutely gorgeous view whenever the sun sets and the clouds part to show the top of Volcano Arenal. Fast wifi with casting available to their TV, plus free breakfasts and a small trail inside their property.
- BERAT YUSUF (10/5): - Property was great but breakfast could be more better. Different local fruits, drinks and food.
- Ismaray (10/5): - Hotel Laks lunch and dinner options. After breakfast there is no place to get ice, water or coffee.
- Wendy (10/5): - This propery was so welcoming & beautiful. We stayed for 3 nights & couldn't get enough of the Arenal volcano view. The rooms are in a great condition. The breakfast was delicious. Staff was amazing. Cabins are across from a restuarant. It's walking distance from a convenient store. It's ten minutes away from the town. We loved everything about this place.
- andrew (10/5): - Super close to free hot springs under the bridge. Great Thai food nearby. Breakfast buffet at the restaurant was epic! Friendly staff and big bathrooms! Pretty views and pet friendly.
- William (10/5): - The place was great. Very clean, great views, and Brian at the front desk was a big help with booking and guiding us in the area!
- Sergey (10/5): - The says it all! Ariela from reseption was a great help. The breakfast was great.
- Maryann (10/5): - This place is amazing!!! Gorgeous property with beautiful vegetation and birds all around. Receptionist was very helpful and friendly. It’s close enough to the town to shop and go to dinner but far enough away that you don’t get the noise or business. The town is literally 4 minutes away though.
Bed was comfy, casita was spacious, everything wad clean. And the view of the volcano when the clouds clean is spectacular!!
- Daniel (10/5): Would certainly come back - Great place, amazing views of the volcano, georgous plants and the private trail was beautiful. The breakfast was excellent.
- Winston (8/5): - Good
- Katie (10/5): - What a gem! Campo Verde is like a private cabin oasis! Adorable and spacious bungalows, large clean bathrooms, ample free breakfast, beautiful property! Had dinner nearby at Que Rico- excellent as well. Will be back! We wanted to go to Baldi Hot Springs so instead of staying there we stayed at Campo Verde and just bought a day pass to Baldi and saved hundreds. However, fell in love with Campo and will be back for our next Arenal adventure. Thank you! Remember to check in before 8 pm!
- Eva (10/5): - Beautiful view of volcano ! Cabin feel and beautiful nature ambiance ! Loved it !
- Dennis (8/5): - Great view of Arenal volcano, close to town La Fortuna. Decent breakfast and quiet cabin. Staff friendly.
- Antonios (10/5): - It was perfectly what we needed!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Lovely place to stay - Super lovely place. Pleasantly surprised. A really nice energy, we will come back.
- Jordan (10/5): - I loved how quiet and peaceful everything was. I felt safe. The front office helped with transportation and activities.
- Ethan (10/5): - Cute bungalows and friendly staff. The hiking trail was a highlight and we saw lots of birds including toucans.
- Alisa (10/5): - We booked a Volcano view room and it did not disappoint. Beautiful location and the room was comfortable and clean. The grounds had gorgeous flowers all around. Would have stayed a second night if they had availability. Breakfast was also pleasant.
- Robert (10/5): - Super clean, comfortable cabins with great AC, views of the beautiful grounds and Volcán Arenal right out of your window and porch. Great surprise trail on the property for a short hike, super close to the amazing Místico hanging bridge park, hot springs and town of La Fortuna. Highly recommended.
- Peter (10/5): Wonderful time! - A lovely hotel with great views of the volcano and a super breakfast every morning. We especially appreciated the night tour that was set up for us. Wow - what an amazing experience! Jonas, the guide, had a great eye and we saw so much wildlife including a baby sloth and so much more. He explained the ecosystem of the jungle. Not only did he provide us with so many facts and sights but also so many smiles and laughs. It was the highlight of our trip. Would highly recommend. Thx so much again Jonas!! If you are staying here be sure to request Jonas for the night tour.
- Nitin (10/5): - Awesome stay, wonderful view of the volcano from the rooms. The property is so green, so beautiful that it is difficult to describe it in words. The breakfast you get here is delicious and includes fresh fruits everyday. Staff is super helpful and can book all tours in La Fortuna for you at the best prices. We had a great vacation here and would recommend this place to anyone visiting La Fortuna.
- Aaron (10/5): - This is an amazing place. The view of the mountains are amazing.
- Diana (6/5): - This property is in a beautiful area a few miles from town. The views of Aranal where great. The bungalow we stayed in had ripped sheets, was very outdated, not much hot water. Felt like it was decorated or built in the early 90's. I will be back to La Fortuna, but I would not stay there again.
The breakfast was good.
- Cole (10/5): - We enjoyed the property and the friendly staff. We were provided with a matrix of activities and we chose an activity we otherwise would not have done.
- Daniella (8/5): - beautiful property! you feel like you’re truly one with nature on this property. you wake up to the jungle sounds, like bird sounds and rainfall, which also happen throughout the night (bring earplugs if you’re sensitive to noise). very friendly staff, clean spacious rooms. staff provide room service everyday. one thing to note: front desk staff are only really available around 7 am to 9 pm costa rican time but when they are available, they’re easy to talk to for help. fast wi-fi in each casita! only downside I found was that if you don’t rent a car (each casita has an assigned parking space), you’ll have to lug your own luggage from the front desk area all the way to your casita, which can be under the rain and over volcanic rocks and uneven pavement. 8.5/10 experience!
- Muhammad (10/5): One very nice hotel in La Fortuna - Big Clean room. The area is beautiful and the views of the Arenal Volcano was amazing. Hotel staff are very helpful. The location is very close to the town.
- Patricia (10/5): - Very clean and the grounds are beautiful. The staff are very friendly and sweet. I’d definitely stay here again.
- Bret (10/5): - Very clean and quiet
- Nancy (10/5): We Hated to Leave this Beautiful Property! - We had a very special 3-night stay at Hotel Campo Verde. Very accessible, it sits right off the main road, yet feels like a remote getaway.
Each cabin provides the privacy of a single home, complete with everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Beautiful interior, spacious bathroom and shower, and strong air conditioning in the bedroom.
All of the staff are incredibly gracious and hospitable, starting with the clerk at Reception, who offered many tips on local attractions tailored to our interests. The free daily Costa Rican breakfast had a variety of offerings, filling us with all the protein, fruit, and carbs we needed for an active day. The cleaning staff were so nice, and we took advantage of the laundry service -- brought our clothes to Reception in the morning, and they were washed and folded for us later the same day.
The property is well-maintained daily, with neatly manicured grounds, yet the native trees, shrubs, and flowers are bountiful. There is an amazing immersive jungle hike in the back, a huge bonus for us on our final morning.
- Pamela (8/5): - La propiedad está hermosa, me encanto las villas y los paisajes, lástima que no tiene nada de amenidades
- Alexander (10/5): - Beautiful property with view of volcano from porch. Room was spacious and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Gorgeous hiking trail on property. For dinner heads up there is no restaurant onsite so may want to plan ahead on where to eat dinner. Breakfast was excellent.
- Yue (10/5): - Nice, quiet and good view!
- Chris (10/5): Great place! - Great place! Big room, comfortable king bed, hot shower, mini fridge, large hot tub in room (didnt use). 1.5 mile hiking trail, well kept, saw a cinnamon-colored coyote, birds, ants, mosquitos. Good breakfast included. Would have a great view of Arenal on a clear day.
- James (10/5): - Loved it and plan to go back
- Sarb (10/5): - Brian at reception was amazing. He assisted with our requests so much. Thank you
- george t (10/5): - Beautiful grounds with stunning view of the Arenal volcano
- CHRISTOPHE (10/5): - Very nice property in the nature volcano view when clear. Room clean and spacious, tv, fridge coffeemaker, hair dryer and jacuzzi.
Excellent staff and very good breakfast included.
Highly recommended.
- Yvette (10/5): - Comfortable room, great bathroom/shower, beautiful gardens, PHENOMENAL VIEW! I love the out-of-town location, it's incredibly quiet and peaceful. The typical breakfast is delicious, as good as any I've had at any restaurant in the country. Pura vida!
- Lisa (4/5): - I understand a hotel can have a no refund policy, to protect against meaningless cancellations but how about when a persons transportation falls through - that the hotel tries to be helpful.
I ended up travelling for 10 hours because i was going to lose my money. No hope to reschedule. So i travel 15 hours to come in the dark and leave again the next morning.
So i delay my departure, putting an important appointment at risk and try to enjoy a day at Baldi Hot Springs. Instead, i wait, and wait, and wait for the payment i made through the hotel to go through.
Ive been sitting frustrated for over an hour for this payment. I told them to get in a car and come here if they need to. This is ridiculous.
The breakfast was excellent. The trails are beautiful. The room is wonderful.
The customer experience is sorely lacking
- Verified traveler (10/5): Para irse a descansar - Las habitaciones tienen una vista espectacular del Volcán, están muy cómodas y el desayuno variado. Servicio al cliente muy bueno, volveremos!
- Robert (10/5): - Great view and close to the hot springs.
- Kathryn (10/5): - We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Campo Verde. We were at the furthest cabin, #15, which meant we did not see much of the volcano but did hear howler monkeys and have a nice view of the forest through which the trail runs. Breakfasts were wonderful, most of our family had Continental one morning and Gallo Pinto the next and enjoyed both. The hotel is located outside the central tourist bustle of La Fortuna but easily accessible to there as well as the walking opportunities we were looking for in Parque Nacional Volcan Arenal and the Mistico Hanging Bridges park. We ate dinner happily at the Argentinian restaurant across the street (the bbq fajitas are great) and another open air restaurant a little to the west, enjoyed both meals and not having to drive much after dark to get back from them. Altogether a lovely 2-night stay.
- tainet (10/5): Amazing - Amazing little hotel, breakfast was spectacular, staff very accommodating, views Amazing, they have a 5 star hotel near by that I am glad I didn't pay the price because this hotel beats any other in the area
- Megan (10/5): - 10/10 I would recommend this property to anyone staying in the La Fortuna area. The views of the volcano are priceless, the rooms were so spacious, comfortable, clean, and beautiful. The pictures of the rooms don't do it justice. I want to come back here ASAP! The room was very affordable as well! The staff were so kind, and free breakfast was delicious!!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Awesome stay. Very kind and helpful. The food is delicious.
- katherine (8/5): Lovely hotel but expensive taxis! - Overall, a good stay. View was great despite Arenal volcano being shrouded in clouds most of the time. We did get some geckos in the room a few times but it wasn't much of an issue. One thing to note if you don't have a car is that to get a taxi from the hotel you need to pay for the journey from La fortuna where the taxis are based to come out to you and then wherever you want to go. So for a 5 mins cab ride to tabbule restaurant it ended up costing us around $13 one way. Breakfast and staff very good. Be aware you might get woken up by howler monkeys but this is all part of the Costa Rica experience!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Beautiful location and views. Comfortable cabins and very helpful staff!
- Den (10/5): - Private trail at the properly, separate houses, lots of birds and wildlife nearby
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It was clean, great view, friendly staff. I would stay there again.
- Volodymyr (6/5): Charges for everything - We were charged extra for staying 4 people in 4-person cabin when initial booking was for 2, but we had to ask for towels by ourselves and we've never got anything else for 4 of us - only two coffee cups and glasses for water. Laundry is 5 times more expensive than nearby too.
The location is good, the view is gorgeous and they also have small trail for morning hike.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Nice cabins with air conditioning. We didn't have any warm water during our stay, and after check in, we didn't have much interaction with the staff, but the location was great.
- Marc (8/5): Great hotel - Great place to stay but we were disappointed when we discovered Expedia snuck in extra guest fees after advertising a much lower price. We should have caught this before but nevertheless, a place that sleeps five should advertise the price for five (not for two). Highy recommend the hotel and highly recommend to watch her Expedia closely.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - This is a hard 'motel' to review. It is in a stunning location with excellent views of Arenal. We had beautiful clear days. The bird life in the gardens is excellent.
However, it is quite a way out and we found the staff to be less than helpful,. We didn't have a car. IF you had a car, you'd be 100% fine. Breakfast is very basic but adequate. Coffee in rooms. The rooms are nice, perhaps the bathroom could have done with a little paint but clean and comfortable.
We did like the hotel but found we were a bit out of it. ....not many options for dinner (when you have to walk)
- Fab (8/5): Cute hotel but far from airport, city, & volcano. - The check in process was quite easy and the little cabins are very cute. Each one has it's own little patio with tables and chair which are great to sit in in the morning!
The only 2 qualms are that any type of excursion you seem to want to book has to be done in cash - so make sure to bring cash.
Additionally, cabs charge not only to TAKE YOU where you are going but also to COME GET YOU making it expensive to get around if you have not rented your own car.
- Chris (10/5): great value - great location, didnt see valcano due to weather conditions, but close to "town"
dont let first impression scare you, they were great little bungalows....pack light rain gear
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great deal! - Adorable cottages. Great view of volcano. Awesome breakfast. Excellent price! The room itself (size, high ceiling, updated bathroom) was outstanding. The decor (bedding, curtains, "art") needs to be updated. Badly. But that's the least important aspect so it's fine.
- Jo K. (8/5): Great location and value. - Great location with stunning views of Arenal when it was visible through the clouds and rain. Clean, quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was typical of CR. Would definitely return.
- perpetual trave (10/5): Wonderful accommodation with an excellent view! - Delightful stay in every way! Staff served excellently! The view spectacular! Highly recommended!!!
- Alfonso (8/5): Cozy and beautiful views. - It's a great option for the area. Most staff is nice. Good location. Not a lot of amenities but the whole point is to be close by the outdoor attractions. A fee
ants in the room but one needs to understand that this a tropical country at the foot of a volcano so check your reality. Good overall experience. Recommended.
- Arlene (8/5): - Mi only complaint is that the wifi was extremely slow.
- Shelly B. (10/5): Lovely setting and room. Very personable and helpful staff. - Incredible view of the volcano from front patio of our room. Spacious, clean room with flowers and lush greenery landscaped beautifully for our enjoyment. If I return to La Fortuna, I will stay here again.
- Verified traveler (10/5): When Nature Calls!! - This was my first trip to Costa Rica and after overnighting in San Jose the first night we made the 3.5 hr drive to La Fortuna. The scenery and route to get there was amazing and very enjoyable!! The greeting upon arrival to Campo Verde was a breath of fresh air!! The receptionist was extremely friendly and very helpful. Very willing to assist with all our queries and needs! Our cabin was situated where our bedroom faced the volcano and the views were amazing!!! No bugs, no issues. The water was fresh and got for showers and cool and nice for drinking straight from the tap. With our doors closed and windows locked we could still here the clear sounds of nature, the birds and all other animals. The room was cool and we did not use the AC at all during the night!! The only complaint we had was on the day before we left we stumbled upon what turned out to be a very deadly and live coral snake a couple feet away from our room. The very next morning as I walked outside I was "greeted" by yet another one making its way up my walk way. That was scary!!! There are no warnings or signs about these deadly snakes and the potential of coming across them, one could have easily made its way into our room or worse, as I often ventured into the gardens barefooted, unsuspectingly, just to be "one" with nature!! The thought of a small child or someone just as ignorant to the danger as I was coming into contact with a deadly snake like that is chilling. Overall an awesome!!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Luxury lodge - Wonderful place at foothill of volcano
- Travel4Fun (10/5): Campo Verde Stay - March 2017 - Our cottage was just opposite to Mt. Arenal and very pleasant to watch the volcano through our large window. The property is very eco-friendly and has tons of guava and hibiscus trees. We loved the place!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great view - Great view. Unlimited view to arenal vocano mountain. Each unit is quite since it is all detached cabin like atmosphere. You will need rental car for this location because it is wuite far away from main town-about 10mins drive to main area. Bathroom is some what outdated but still clean. I enjoyed staying here. Breakfast was efficient and friendly setvice.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Cute cottage close to the Arenal volcano - We only stayed here one night even though we had booked it for two. It was pouring all day both days that we were there so we decided to cut our stay short. A refund on our second night would have been nice since we gave them plenty of warning. The room was comfortable and consisted of two queen sized beds and a full bathroom. It also had a refrigerator which was a nice thing to have. Everything was clean and comfortable and would have had unbeatable views of the volcano if the cloud cover would have allowed it. The cabins are close enough to La Fortuna to make it accessible, but far enough away to be peaceful. As a warning...the water is heated using solar panels which means that IF THERE IS NO SUN, THERE IS NO HOT WATER!! We really needed a shower after hiking through the mud and were disappointed to find no hot water available. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Hotel Campo Verde, the weather just made our time better spent elsewhere.
- suzanne (10/5): Best place to stay in Arenal. - Private casita with views of Arenal. They had their own nature trail. Great breakfast.
- Karolina (10/5): Great location in La Fortuna - This hotel was a pleasant surprise, great location with an amazing view of the volcano and close to the hot springs and many good restaurants. The grounds are very well kept and everything was clean and tidy. We had a problem with our reservation however, since it didn't show on the hotel's system that we had requested for 2 queen beds as we were travelling with a kid, and they gave us just one and the hotel was full so there was no option to move. They resolved it by providing us a spare mattress that solved the issue for us, but that would be the only thing I would mark for consideration when making a reservation. Breakfast was delicious and very complete, so overall it was a very good stay.
- Bryan (10/5): Love this hotel bungalow! - Everything was wonderful. This is our second time visiting Costa Rica and this is the second time we stayed there. The grounds are gorgeous. The volcano is right in front of the property so when not cloudy, you wake up to the gorgeous view of the prominent volcano. The bungalows are beautiful, with wood structure all around giving a rustic look. Everything in working order, clean and all. The free breakfast was buffet style with lots of options from tico (local) breakfast to continental US breakfast. Front desk ladies spoke English and were super nice and useful.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - This was a simple place, but we paid way too much for this hotel which does NOT have a spa included compared to staying at a nearby hotel with one. Check out the difference. Next time we will stay at a place with a spa.
- Vicky (10/5): Like heaven - The hotel is very quiet is the perfect to relax and experience nature. The employees were amazing and very helpful. The breakfast was fresh, made to order and delicious. The view, the trails, the weather, the people...this is great place to stay.
- Billy (8/5): Nice grounds with a wilderness walking trail. - My 10 and 12 year old daughters really enjoyed the walking trail. Very natural and fun. Wendy, the manager was exceptional. The free breakfast was more than adequate. We will stay there again when in La Fortuna.
- Steve (10/5): To The Rescue - Kate & I stayed in one of the Junior Suite cabins for a weekend celebration of our 5th wedding anniversary. The cabin was roomy, comfortable, and cool with the ceiling fan alone. What amazed us was the staff. We had car trouble Sat. night, after driving around all day. Oneida at Reception called a friend who came over to troubleshoot, but could not find the problem. He then called a mechanic friend to ask if he could come Sun. & look things over. On Sun. morning he arrived with a trunk full of tools & in less than 2 hours we were repaired professionally, and headed home to Playa Hermosa. Without the help of these nice people we were looking at a long ride on a carrier truck to San Jose & more nights in another hotel. Instead, we drove the 4 hours to our home. Thank you Oneida, Wendy, Raphael, & Minor! You made a stressful situation easy, and we want everyone who visits Volcan Arenal to stay at Campo Verde! Hasta Pronto!
- Fran (6/5): Mediocre, Overpriced Hotel With Excellent Staff - Positive:
The receptionist was very friendly, and everything was clean. Additionally, the breakfast is quite good.
Negative:
Overall the hotel is ok, but considering that we spend $90 per night, I expect a bit more. Usually, when we spend $90 per night on a hotel on Expedia, we were able to get some pretty nice places; especially, off season.
The hotel is very mediocre, and the bathrooms looked pretty old. When we arrived, the tv was unplugged and we had to search for the tv stations. Additionally, on the second night, I saw a HUGE cockroach in our bathroom. I also did not like that the air condition rained on us, and the plug in the bathroom sink was missing. All of these things are not deal breakers, but again for $90 a night it is not the best-value option.
- Marcello (10/5): Quiet with nicely landscaped property - Each room is actually a nice size separate cabin set among nicely landscaped gardens. Very close to both the Lake and Arenal Volcano. Nice complimentary breakfast and free parking.
- christina (10/5): Beautiful hotel - Enjoyed our short stay at this beautiful hotel. The view of the volcano from our room was awesome. Wendy and her staff were friendly n courteous. The breakfast was fresh n wholesome
- John (8/5): Nice smaller hotel with specular views! - We arrived fairly late but the receptionist was waiting for us. She gave us a full description of the best places to go Zip lining and for a spa. The grounds themselves are great! And the view of the Volcano from the unit was second to none. Just be aware that the hotel is a bit out of town from La Fortuna. If you need to be right in town, this is not the place. If you want peace and quiet, then this is it.
- alyssa (8/5): Nice View - View was perfect. Around noon the fog cleared and you could see the volcano. The rooms were perfect! Staff wasn't the nicest but we didn't let it ruin our trip. You're about 10 minutes out of town.
