- Donna (10/5): Great for family stay - The layout and space of the rooms. Quiet and good location. Friendly and helpful staff. Café below was very convenient. A shower door or curtain would be helpful on the bathtub for showering, to stop water spraying out onto floor. Bottom dishwasher rack did not function well.
- Ian (10/5): Well beyond our expectations, and perfect for those with small (or larger) children - I travelled with my wife and two-year-old daughter to the Circus Apartments and, frankly, it blew us away. I haven't stayed anywhere in a long time where I had such a strong desire to *not* leave at the end of our holiday, and we're all pining to come back at some point. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful (great kinderplatz recommendations!), the general premises were clean and modern, there were even free snacks (vegan cake!) in the reception area. But crikey, the apartment... Massive, modern, everything we could have needed (even a washbasket), comfortable, free coffee, toys provided for the sprog, a cot set up when we arrived, a lovely balcony to stare at the (cherry?) blossoms from. I would have been happy with something 50% as good as this was, so we were genuinely blown away by the place. Additionally the location was fantastic, surrounded by delightful cafes, bakeries, restaurants, and shops, and with fantastic public transport links to the rest of Berlin and beyond. It made our day trip to Leipzig even more enjoyable that getting from and back to the apartment was as straightforward as it was. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be looking to return in future. We had issues - we went to the wrong Circus property, the internet wasn't functional when we arrived, the bathplug wouldn't come unstuck. But the first was our fault, the second wasn't a big deal and was fixed by the next day, and the third was sorted the same day. None of them actually mattered or impacted our enjoyment at all.

The apartment itself was sparkling clean and spacious with gorgeous windows. Staff present between 7 am and 9 pm downstairs, all incredibly friendly and helpful with all of our logistics!

A lot of details are very nice, like good soap, and great kitchen accessories. The staff was extremely helpful and easy to contact, not some deserted apartment building operated with key boxes. It felt more like a hotel. I was staying with my teenage daughter. We asked to use the sleeping sofa for her. The staff not only brought the bed linnen, but actually set up the whole bed with the linnen, so everything was waiting for us when we returned later that night. The neighborhood is really wonderful and for most activities in Berlin, the south side of Prenzlauer Berg is the best location for a home base. Nothing. I have stayed in Berlin quite a few times. This was the best experience. Highly recommended.

- meganbD7312CM (10/5): Made the Trip Even Better! - Booking our stay at the Circus Apartments was one of my best decisions regarding our trip to Germany. The accommodations were very clean and spacious, especially the living area, and included all modern conveniences. Two bedrooms, one with twin beds, so our family with a teenage son and daughter had plenty of space. Huge windows so we could watch the locals go about their day. Two good-sized bathrooms. We loved the location, as we were staying where the locals live, but within walking distance of tourist attractions and the train station. The concierges were so kind and gladly helped us with our requests (and spoke English!).

- Lulu (10/5): Unbeatable location and quality of stay like a local - Awesome location, plenty of space and kind staff. Cannot get better than this! It feels like living in Berlin for a bit and in such lively and comfortable neighbourhood. The apartment is well decorated and stocked it’s really easy to just start living in there - great kitchen and everything, really. Staff was also super helpful to provide all support needed and answering our requests.

- Leon (10/5): Top appartement, in al die jaren nog niet veel beter gezien. - Prachtig appartement. Mijn schoonzus die voor haar werk heel veel hotels heeft bezocht, heeft in al die hotels nooit zo’n praktische en zalige badkamer gezien, wil wat zeggen. Uitstekende ligging en zeer vriendelijke mensen aan de receptie. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding onvoorstelbaar goed. Wij waren met vijf. Maar eigenlijk is het een appartement voor vier. Er ontbrak een vijfde stoel aan de eettafel. De sofa waar de vijfde persoon dan moet slapen, was al veranderd in een, toegeven, prachtig bed. We hebben dat maar zo gelaten, maar daardoor hadden we niet echt een sofa om aan het eind van de dag gezellig samen te zien. Conclusie: top appartement voor vier, het wordt iets moeilijker voor vijf.

The 3 bedroom apartment was very comfortable for our family of 6. Good Laundry Facilities. Shower in the second bathroom (of Hermann apartment) was not enclosed over the bath so difficult to use without spraying water everywhere.

- Katherine (10/5): Our family of 6 had an amazing week in a Berlin home away from home. - The location was great, a relatively quiet side street but extremely walkable to all of the food and shops in Torstrasse area, and close to all the big tourist attractions via quick transit/uber ride or even walk (ie a little over 22 min from TV Tower). Our 3-bedroom/2-bath apartment layout was so spacious, modern, and clean, and was excellent for our family which included my two pre-teens, my husband and I, and my elderly in-laws. The beds were comfortable, and there was more than enough room for organizing clothes and luggage. Tons of outlets for devices and dedicated wi-fi for the suite. The two bathrooms were spacious and nice. We were there for a week so they asked in advance what day would be good for a midweek refresh, and everything felt tidy and maintained throughout. We were all very comfortable resting and relaxing there between all of the long days of sightseeing. Free 24-hr access to laundry facilities in the basement was so convenient, even stocked with multiple detergent options. We frequently enjoyed the espresso machine and snacks in the concierge. The kitchen was pretty well stocked with utensils and cookware and even a dishwasher if we had wanted to cook. The cafe downstairs was excellent for breakfast. The experience was so much better than staying in a hotel with a larger multi-generational family group like ours. I would definitely stay there again, as well as recommend to friends considering travel to Berlin. My father-in-law slipped in the shower, he wanted me to let the management know that the tiles were quite slippery when wet.
- Tim (8/5): Konzept toll, Umsetzung 7/10 - Mir hat das Konzept sehr gefallen und die Lage Besser könnte sein: - die Kommunikation (am Anreisetag wurde mir gesagt, dass man mit dem Kaffee nebenan keine engere Verbindung hat); am Abreisetag hieß es dann, ob ich den Frühstücks-Voucher erhalten hätte.. das passt nicht zusammen.. - in dem Zusammenhang wurde mir ein Frühstück zu 25€ auf der Rechnung belastet (bei der Abreise wollte man das korrigieren; da ich keine Zeit mehr hatte, wolle man sich darum kümmern.. bis jetzt habe ich dazu nichts mehr gehört..?) - leider funktionierte der Zugang zu den TV-Kanälen nicht (oder ich war zu blöd den Fernseher zu verstehen).. und auch das Radio hat sich leider nicht connected… Gut dass man Handys hat ..sorry ist ein bisschen viel geworden, aber wenn man das kinderfreundlicher regelt, dann gibt’s auch 10/10

The staff helpful and the apartment quality. - The staff were friendly, helpful and exceeded expectations in trying to help with all our questions/requests. The apartment was funky and spacious. We used the free laundry, room service from the adjacent cafe and got coffee from the Nespresso machine in reception. Some light blankets in the bedrooms. The lighting inside the apartment was too dull. We would have loved a Nespresso machine in the room.

- Çiğdem (10/5): Kendimizi evimizde hissettiğimiz mükemmel ötesi konaklama 😍 - Tek kelimeyle her şey mükemmel ötesiydi, olağanüstüydü. Bir hafta kaldık burda 3 çocuk ve eşimle. İhtiyacımız olan her şey vardı. Ofis çalışanları her konuda çok yardımcı oldular, çok tatlılardı. Tertemizdi, balkonun olması büyük bir avantajdı. Merkezi konumda, her yere yürüyerek gidebiliyorduk. Kendimizi evimizde gibi hissettik ve çok rahat ettik. Sonsuz teşekkür ediyoruz 😍 Berlin’e gidenlere, arkadaşlarıma burayı tavsiye ediyorum 🙂 Her şey en ince ayrıntısına kadar düşünülmüştü. Hiçbir olumsuzluk yaşamadık. Beğenmediğimiz hiçbir şey olmadı.
