Guest Reviews
- Junhong (10/5): - Excellent location. Walkable to everywhere but in a very quiet spot. The staff are very nice and helpful.
- Jerry (10/5): High quality in Venice - I have stayed in well over 400 hotels in my life. My one night stay at Aqua B ranks top ten if not top 5 best experiences.
Property is posh. Well thought out with its design. Giovanni personally escorted me to my 2nd floor room. Entire staff was friendly and professional. The sleeping room #12. Absolutely beautiful. Breakfast was first class.
I’ve never given such a glowing review but Auqa B deserves all the praise.
- Allexis (10/5): Great spot - We loved this hotel! It was cute and the front desk was very kind. It was close to everything but still tucked back in a section that was mostly quiet. We are so happy we stayed there
- Rachel (10/5): - What an amazing experience we had staying at this hotel! The property was perfectly located in proximity to all the sights to see however was in a quiet and peaceful location. The accommodations were elegantly decorated and impeccably clean. Breakfast was delicious each morning! The staff was beyond accommodating and helpful in every way from communications prior to our travel to arranging our water taxis and providing us with any information or recommendations we needed. I highly recommend Aqua B and hope to return myself one day soon!
- Tennille (10/5): - Wonderful stay at Aqua B. Would definitely recommend. Staff was incredibly helpful and friendly.
- Maria (10/5): - Room was spacious. Staff was very nice. Hotel is well located.
- Katarzyna (10/5): - It is a lovely hotel in a very convenient location close to Basílica St Marco. It has a wonderful ambiance and the rooms are lovely decorated, clean and very well maintained. Breakfast was excellent. Highly recommend.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Great stay in Venice - Aqua B is a superb B&B, great location and excellent staff.
The breakfast in room is a great free addition.
We stayed in a suite on top floor. Huge bed with en-suite and a separate living space.
Would recommend.
- John (10/5): - Aqua B was perfect for our family of four. It was difficult finding accommodations for all of us in Venice. The room/suite was lovely and clean, plenty of electrical outlets. The included breakfast was very nice and quick. The person at the front desk was so helpful in arranging a water taxi/tour at Murano and water taxi to the train station. The room was very quiet and the king bed was very comfortable.
- Bruno (8/5): - Nice room, tucked in the back, not in the main part of the building. Overall we had a very good stay.
- mark (8/5): - We stayed at Aqua B to celebrate a landmark anniversary. The location is great, being just 10 minute walk from St Marks Square and the Rialto Bridge. Downside was that there was absolutely no view from the window and the number of steps up to the room (53 to be exact). We had a suite on the top floor. The room was great. Very spacious and well equipped. No English TV channels (can't complain about that though being in Italy), and the air con was a bit noisy. Decor was gorgeous and the room was exactly as pictured on-line.
The rooms are detached from the main hotel, and just a short walk away down an alleyway. However you will be treated as a hotel guest and can have breakfast in the main eating area or in your room. Staff were fantastic. Extremely helpful and we also had a complimentary water taxi trip to Morano to see glas blowing from the Hotel dock.
Would definitely recommend, as long as you don't mind stairs.
- Pamela (10/5): - This was a really nice room and location. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was a bed and breakfast attached to a more upscale hotel. The staff was incredible and very friendly. They bring a complimentary breakfast to your room and you have a decent amount of options for breakfast. The room was pretty big and had a separate sitting area. Plugs were minimal unfortunately, the ones in the bedroom area were mostly covered by the headboard of the bed, so we had to use the one in the sitting area, but that was the only thing that really could be improved. It was in a great location and easy to get back to and close to everything we came to see. We would have loved to stay there longer and would definitely come back for a second stay.
- Brady (6/5): - For $300 this isn’t worth it, it’s fine but definitely overpriced..
- Bianca (10/5): - Amazing location and my room was beautiful. The staff was very helpful and friendly.
- Milad (10/5): - Clean, spacious and great location in the centre of the historic district yet quiet. Would definitely recommend. Amazing staff and great breakfast.
- Antonio (10/5): - Gorgeous hotel!! Is really hard to find hotels that really match the pictures (in Venice). This hotel is above what you see in Expedia outstanding!
- Michael (10/5): - Excellent service from the team, thank you
- Pascual (10/5): - Excellent
- Sharon (10/5): - We stayed in the B&B operated by the Aqua Palace Hotel. Breakfast can be served in your room or you can go to the delicious full service buffet in the main hotel just a few steps away. Front desk personnel are friendly and helpful. They helped us with navigating the city, restaurant recommendations and train tickets. The location is close to St Marks but in a quiet, out of the way corner away from the crowds. We stayed in a jr suite with a bedroom separate from the living space (however there is no door) and the bathroom was large and clean with double vanity and shower (no tub). There is no elevator so you do have to hike up stairs to your room. A bellman will happily bring up your luggage. We took a complimentary boat offered by the hotel over to Murano. When we arrived a man met us on the dock and took us into one of the glass manufacturers. We saw a master glassmaker at work and then toured through their showrooms. It’s a sales pitch for sure which was a little uncomfortable but it was a unique experience. Overall we loved our stay and would recommend Aqua B to friends!
FYI - we arrived by train then took the ferry to the Rialto stop and it is a short walk from there. You can walk to the hotel but, beware, you will go up and down several sets of stairs to go over canal bridges.
- Regis (10/5): Great location for a stay in Venice - Great place in Venice. Only accessible via walk or taxi boat. Very cozy and comfy. Great breakfast and staff very professional.
- lourdes (10/5): - The breakfast was incredible! We stayed in a comfort suite which was very spacious. Location was perfect!
- Jeannette (10/5): Perfect stay - We loved our stay at this hotel! Best location as everything felt a short walk away. It was surprisingly quiet despite the central location. The breakfast was great - no complaints! The bed and pillows weren’t the most comfortable but I like a soft bed and squishy pillows and this was more firm. Still, next time we’re in Venice we’d love to stay here again!
- Nicholas (10/5): Great value in a central but quiet location - Definitely worth the price, which was also not exorbitant. The room service breakfast was great (they also have soy milk if you write in) and the room itself was lovely. The towels were nice, the bed was comfortable, and the service was very professional. The shower was a bit messed up but nothing serious. Highly recommend!
- Lisa (10/5): - Very quiet area, away from crowds.. room service breakfast was great
- Areg (4/5): - Aqua B is a Bed & Breakfast facility. We were told that our room had 3 beds when in fact there was one queen bed and a sofa bed.
- Francisco (10/5): - Staff was fantastic! From Roberto front desk to restaurant staff, bartender, bell person. Wonderful staff would definitely be back!
- David (10/5): - Great hotel with friendly staff! Room was beautiful and spacious!
- Cecilia (10/5): - We stayed at Aqua B, which is a separate building from the hotel. The room was great. Had everything we needed. The only thing I had to ask for was an iron and they brought it to me within minutes. Great service. Breakfast was good as well. And the front desk staff very helpful. Would definitely stay again. Loved the location, close everything but to crowded.
- Michelle (10/5): - Don’t hesitate. The annex property is 10 paces from front door of main Hotel. I do recommend that you take water taxi to the dock for dropoff, as location might be hard to find w luggage if first time in Venice. Clean rooms, big bathroom, staff was GREAT. They bring you nice breakfast in the morning. We were in Suite room 21. Door on main bedroom, second room w sofa daybed twin bed. Room 21 on third floor, stairs only. They handle luggage. But if you have mobility issues not for you. I would say no kids upper floor because stairs lack handrail part of the way. Very convenient to square San Marco & Rialto.
- Sunil (10/5): - Lovely property with spacious room for our family vacation with kids in Venice. Central location in Venice 5-10 minutes to main sites.
- David (10/5): - Staff was over the top friendly and helpfull we even got upgraded. Highly recommend
- Keith (10/5): - Amazing hotel, great location & brilliant staff. Highly recommend
- Jonathan Robert (8/5): - Decent value for money
- Fergus (10/5): Perfect - The stay was absolutely amazing. Reception when you arrived at the main hotel was so helpful and welcoming. We got taken round to our room in aqua B and it was stunning. The breakfast options were amazing and offered Gluten Free for a member who had coeliac. Everything was absolutely perfect and when leaving we used the bar in the hotel for a drink and it was lovely in there.
- Arushi (6/5): - Good location closer to everything. Big room. However a very small selection of breakfast and limited power points around the room were disappointing.
- Robyn (10/5): - Every thing was wonderful at the Aqua B and Aqua Palace. I cannot tell you how happy we were with our stay. They are so helpful and Accommodating. The rooms were extreemly clean. Not to mention so nicely decorated. The lobby was also very nice and clean. The buffet breakfast was absolutly delicious. Wonerful food, we actually decided to go down to the dining area to eat unsted of having room service. The entire staff were so nice, but one lady (and I'm sorry to her I cannot renember her name. I feel terrible about it.) That is in charge of the breakfast dining area is above and beyond exceptional. Truly an asset to the hotel
- Michael (10/5): - Everthing was good.
- John (10/5): - Perfect location between Rialto Bridge and Piazza San Marco.
Well appointed room, refrigerator, great shower, breakfast served in room. And can’t forget the Murano chandelier in the room.
- Andreanne (10/5): - Amazing
Jack at the bar
Lay for everything and all for friendly and good services
- Jaime (8/5): - Style/furnishing/curtains/wall coverings all cute! Bathroom was great. Space with family and in room breakfast was great. Carpeting was aging, but to be expected. We enjoyed this spot very much and would stay again.
- Medhat (8/5): - Very clean hotel, breakfast was okay.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very comfort and clean room
- Mark (10/5): Great - Very fancy and clean. Great!
- Darin (10/5): Five Stars - This property is central to everything and very well run. Pleasant surprises around every corner. Wonderful staff, accommodations and in-room breakfast. Five Stars!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Friendly staff while checking in at main hotel next door (it's literally 50 yards away)
Lovely room, comfy bed, decent shower, very clean, beds changed daily, continental breakfast served to your room at your chosen time
- Hiten (10/5): - Amazing hotel with super fri
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Loved the room and the location. In room breakfast a nice touch.
- Farzan (4/5): Poor - we stayed at the apartment section which was very inconvenient. The minute we walked in the room we saw a bug in the bathroom and their response to that was maybe because the window was open . And they don’t have any other room to offer
When you check in that apartment section you can’t use the breakfast area because they don’t have enough room
They offer to bring you breakfast to your room
Which you might ended up with cold coffee and limited choice even though you book the hotel with breakfast included
- David (10/5): - Amazing place to stay
- Monica (10/5): - Lovely B&B, in a great location, with excellent service from hotel.
- Sruj (10/5): - The check-in to the property was little tricky, but not an hassel. Clean well maintained rooms, friendly staff. Easy access to Water-taxi and walking distance to many restaurants. Recommend the hotel!
- Betsan (10/5): Venice - Fabulous place to stay in the centre of Venice but not right in the middle of the hubbub. Staff were extraordinarily helpful. Even given packed breakfast to take with us to the airport ‘cos of our early flight. Great!
- elias (10/5): Great Place - Amazing hotel, great location, clean and beautiful. I would recommend this hotel to everyone!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very nice Hotel excellent location and romantic room. 🌟🌟🌟🌟
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Hotel staff was friendly. Location was great.
Room was quite noisy considering they states it is soundproof. The floors are not soundproof and we had very nosey guests above us. Staff upgraded us to the top floor suite which was kind, but was still quite noisy. I would recommend this stay for a central location in Venice.
- Peter (8/5): - It was a very good experience, a nice place to stay.
- Kelley (10/5): - This is a very nice, clean and quaint place. We really enjoyed staying there.
- Julie (10/5): Lovely room in great area - We struggled to find the Aqua B at first but the very helpful reception staff at the Aqua Palace showed us to our room. It is effectively bed and breakfast but in a fantastic central location with a lovely well decorated and comfortable room. Breakfast was more than plenty each day although cooked items and fresh fruit cost extra. There is a safe and a minibar in the room and the bathroom was clean and modern with a good shower and his and hers sinks. Staff were polite and helpful at all times and the staff on reception at the Aqua Palace-parent hotel- were very accommodating and printed lounge passes for us and came over early in the morning to let us check out for an early flight. Would definitely use again and recommend!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great location between the Rialto and St. Marks. A little hard to find (what isn't in Venice!) but very private. Loved the morning breakfast delivered to our room. Room was very well decorated and comfortable, although a little small. Only negative was the TVs turning on to CNN every time you entered the room. Having to quickly run around to turn them off, lest we hear about more of Trump's daily tweets, was annoying.
- S (8/5): Nice hotel in the middle of Venice - Located in a small street in the centre of Venice and less luxurious than the cousin hotel next door. The hotel is housed in an old building with no lift, but the room was modernised with classic decoration.
- Will (10/5): 5 Stars - Amazing hotel in a lovely city.
- Di (10/5): - Perfectly situated hotel. Staff very helpful. lovely room
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Very nice hotel and experience all around. Locations is excellently center around everything. There is no water scenery but it is very quiet facing a small courtyard which is important because there are so many people in Venice. We faced some challenges finding our way around because the map doesn't show all the calle and the hotel is tucked in the middle of small calle. Perhaps more signs will be helpful.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Quiet, great location near to Per Rialto and San Marco Piazza. Comfortable and clean.
- Lydia (8/5): - Lovely spot for a 2-night stay
- Laura (10/5): Loved it - Perfect room and location
- Nina (8/5): Great - Great place! Close to everything, breakfast in bed that you preorder the day before. Couldn’t wish for more!
- Anna (10/5): Luxury hotel, great location- friendly staff. - Had a fantastic stay at Aqua from
Start to finish; arrived early, around 3-4 hours prior to check it but they stored our bags and we could use the facilities before heading out to explore and then come back in the afternoon.
Very polite and informative staff, the room was clean, stylish and a good size.
Breakfast was good- we didn't have the buffet breakfast but room service on both mornings- anything you had forgotten or if you wanted anything further the staff were so attentive.
Good location , tucked behind the Rialto bridge so in the hustle and bustle of it but quiet enough to feel slightly set back.
Would 100% return to this hotel and recommend to anyone who is going to Venice.
- Christopher (10/5): Great hotel - Great accommodation, great service. Only downside was that the bed could of been comfier. Other than that it was great
- Milli (10/5): Very nice hotel close to St Marks Square - I couldn't compliment this hotel enough. They were extremely helpful even before we arrived. We'd been told that Venice was a bit of a maze and the hotel were great as they offered to arrange a private transfer directly to the hotel due to our flight landing late in the evening. The hotel itself was extremely clean, and the room was very spacious & glam... the only downside was a lack of plug sockets but there was one in the bathroom which we made do with. Location was great - very close to all main attractions. Overall very happy with this hotel and would stay here again.
- Benjamin (8/5): Good but needs more attention for the price - Arrival by boat was amazing, room nice but bed not as comfortable as you would expect, problem with payment at the end was annoying
- Sarah (10/5): Surprise birthday weekend at the AquaB - Venice and the AquaB both exceeded our expectations! We arrived at the hotel and after checking in were taken to the AquaB in the courtyard behind. Our room was beautiful, It was spacious, clean and although it didn't have a view this didn't matter. Breakfast arrived at our chosen time each morning and we sat and enjoyed it at our leisure. The ensuite was a good size with a great shower, twin basins and plenty of hot water. Whenever we had a query or needed some advice we would pop round the corner to the hotel and found the staff more than friendly and helpful. The location couldn't have been more central for all the sights, shops and restaurants. We both fell in love with Venice and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the AquaB, we will definitely return!❤️
- jon (8/5): Good location, nice hotel - The hotel is close enough to the main sights of Venice but also far enough away from the built up areas. Lovely staff and room was very nice, would definitely recommend
- jenn (8/5): Cosy hotel with good location - The room is very clean but quite dimly lit. Our suite room is right on top and needs to climb up 4 floors with no lift. Location is very good and very near to many good restaurants, shopping and Saint Marco square. Staff is very friendly and helpful too.
- Bo hye (6/5): Excellent location, room condition is ok - It was really hard to find this place to check in. The staffs at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. We carried a lot of luggages with us so it was hard for us to carry all that by stairs. We could hear all noises (outside- people walking down/up the stairs , baby crying etc). However the locations was perfect
- Roberto (10/5): Elegant - Great
- Adam (10/5): - Fantastic short break will recommend and revisit.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Birthday trip for two. - We stayed only one night in junior suite on the top floor. This was a birthday present for me and my partner. The room was lovely, perfect location and I appreciated that the room didn't smell of smoke. Breakfast to bed was a nice touch.
- Terry (10/5): Fantastic Boutique Hotel to get Recharged - Pleasant stay with easy access to gondola and water taxi port. Staff super friendly, responsive, and attention to detail. Recommend touching base with hotel in advance to ensure transportation logistics are in place...walking from train station to hotel is not a good idea. Water bus is most economical and a brief walk to hotel. Water taxi can be quite expensive especially from airport, but then again, it's Venice!
- moe (10/5): Very nice by the canal - We didn't know what to expect when we got there but all I can say is wow and we are very pleased with every single thing and specially the breakfast
- World traveler (10/5): A gem! - This hotel is like a little gem tucked away yet close to the Rialto bridge and water transportation (especially with heavy luggage) and only a few minutes walking distance to the main square. The room was more luxurious than I imagined, especially since it was less expensive than some of the other hotels in Venice. The chandelier light fixture above the bed was beautiful and a nice touch. It is roomy, clean and comfortable. A few things to note is that there is no lift, although a bell boy will help with that, there are 2 beds pushed together as one, with no padding, so you can feel the middle gap, and the bathroom sink area does not have counter space. Although this didn't change my rating I thought some guests may want to know these things before booking. I loved having breakfast delivered to the room each morning before heading out on the town and I would recommend to my friends and family.
- Andris (10/5): Awesome hotel - We stayed for one night and everything was as expected. Good location, great condition and service. Would recommend.
- Matthew (10/5): Great little boutique hotel - Amazing hotel great staff and only a 5 minute walk from the main restaurants and San Marco
- Sherie (10/5): Beautiful B&B in a great location - We stayed here for 2 nights its in a great location in Venice easy access to everything, the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The room was spacious and quiet noise, would recommend the Aqua B to everyone.
- Belinda (10/5): Beautiful Hotel for this Beautiful City - A fantastic hotel in this beautiful city. We were close to everything with just a short walking distance and close to the pier for all the boats. Was initially difficult to find it when we arrived, but once we found the main hotel Aqua Palace, it was easy. Breakfast delivered to our room every morning was fantastic.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Italian charm with modern amenities - Absolutely gorgeous boutique B and B. Very convenient location. Hotel staff were very polite and helpful. Breakfast was great and always served promptly at the requested time. Would definitely recommend.
- Not Provided (10/5): As nice as they come! - Very nice boutique hotel. Didn't see an elevator/lift so if you need one may not be the place for you. Hotel staff is very helpful, will bring your bags up, but please tip.
Your 5 min to San Marco, 10 to Rialto Bridge.
Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Intro to Venice. - A little hard to find, but a perfect location and wonderful stay.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Convenient location & priced fairly - It is a five minute walk to San Marco and Rialto Bridge. Stayed for three nights. Wish the bed was more comfortable and it had better pillows. (We had to ask for more as they were paper thin) Everything else in the room appeared more luxurious but the bed was hard.
Also wish they had a screen on at least one window so you could get fresh air. The mosquitos were bad even in November. I was bit several times in the night. We couldn't get the air conditioning turned on to make a difference and it was stuffy at night.
Breakfast served in the room was very nice.
- Arthur (10/5): Venice from within. - The room was quite nice. However, there is little feedback from the front desk as to what is available to guests. For instance, there is a daily trip to one of the popular Islands but it is not documented and only discovered by asking for directions to the ferry to go to the Island. The check out was excellent and the lady was really friendly and informative compared to the previous people. Aqua B is in a back alley and the real front desk is through a odoriferous corridor a block away. So the room is always dark and very quiet. It was in a great location and overall probably a 4+.
- Andrew (10/5): Aqua B Florence - Great enjoyable stay. I got the junior suite so I have a separate living room and then a bed room which is quite spacious. The breakfast is brought to us since we are not in the Aqua Palace portion and the food is wonderful.
It is centrally located so you have get to anywhere you want. The only problem is it's a bit tricky to find and get there. Love the hotel. Love the location and great rooms and amenities
- Natalie (10/5): Venice Stay - Great location, 5 min walk to the Rialto Bridge, in one of Venices many small streets and corners, very quint. Wonderful and helpful staff. Awesome breakfast brought to your room at a time of your choosing. Big, clean room.
- Kathleen (10/5): Walking distance from Vatican. The best! - This hotel is first class all the way. We were quite tickled to see that the view from our room was St. Peters Basilica! The room was beautiful, comfortable and clean. Breakfast was wonderful! Service at the hotel was excellent and the hotel was convenient to the bus line that takes you to the Coliseum and other important attractions. There is shopping virtually down the street. All in all an excellent hotel.
- Alicia (10/5): Outstanding hotel - A beautiful and modern hotel located in the heart of Venice and close to palazzo San Marco. The room was beautiful and very large. The only minor issue is that we did not have a choice of having the hotel breakfast not in our room. This is a minor thing but our family enjoys having breakfast with other people in a hotel in the morning. Otherwise an excellent hotel that I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone or stay there again.
- Maria (10/5): Awesome time! - Awesome!
The best hotel in comfort, hospitality, cleanest and the best breakfast in bed! They literally bring your breakfast into your room. Location super close to the San Marcos Plaza. Etc.
- Marie (10/5): Perfection! - Perfect stay at this hotel, can't recommend it highly enough. Incredible location, beautiful room and excellent hotel service. Breakfast in bed every day and very helpful staff. Will definitely return!
- Warren (8/5): Great Stay - Loved the hotel. Staff was great on check in as they took time to explain the area, make recommendations for dinner, sightseeing, etc. in our room. Very personal touch. Breakfast served in the room was ok. Location was convenient to several major attractions. Easy trip from the train station to hotel via water bus. Enjoyed the feeling of going up a very private entrance/stairway to our room. Super quiet location
- Verified traveler (10/5): Very nice stay! - If you're looking for some privacy and time away from it all within a very bustling city, Aqua B is a wonderful refuge to get away from it all. The room was very clean and well appointed as well as modern and updated. And to top things off, at this Bed & Breakfast, they deliver your breakfast each morning right to your door at the time you request. Located near both Rialto Bridge and St. Mark's Square, you're near the heart of the city so walk times are very short. Part of the Aqua Palace Hotel, we highly recommend Aqua B.
- Katherine (10/5): Was just great! - Friendly, helpful staff. Terrific location and clean, quiet, good bed and breakfast.
- Jon (8/5): Lovely 4 nights in Venice - We had a lovely stay in Venice at the Aqua B hotel in room 31 a two room suite. Nice room, classy furnishings and close to the Rialto Bridge and Piazza San Marco. Quite location overlooking a little courtyard.
Got a private water taxi from the airport to the hotel, expensive but well worth it!
Hotel staff very friendly and helpful, breakfast was continental and filling, anything hot was an extra cost. Aqua B is next door to the Aqua Palace down a dark little alleyway. Your breakfast is brought to your room which is nice. All in all we enjoyed our stay in Venice at the Aqua B.
