Cependant la chambre n'est pas très propre, des taches sur les mur et la poussière accumulé à pas mal d'endroits de plus la fenêtre de ma chambre ne se fermait pas heureusement il faisait beau et chaud. Si vous vouliez avoir une belle vue faut choisir une chambre ne donnant pas sur la cours intérieur car vous y verrez juste des moteur.

- Francois (6/5): - For a budget hotel it was ok, reasonably clean, modern equipment (Japanese toilet!). One downside is the view, which overlooks a tiny courtyard. The window therefore has frosted glass, which gives you the idea that there is no daylight coming into the room.

- Seppo (10/5): Nice room, good location - The room was quite spacious and modern. (Bottoms) washing and drying toilet seat was good, every hotel should have those. Only one small window, view to opposite wall. But no street noise either. The breakfast was quite modest, served at the cafe around the corner. They opened at 9 AM, so if you wake up early, you have to wait long until you get breakfast.

Very high tech bathroom facilities - heated toilet seat with automatic flush, radio and a clever magnifier set into the mirror. Whilst a kettle is provided there is neither tea or coffee which would have been a welcome addition.

- Christina (8/5): Great location and breakfast - On the plus side: Great location! Breakfast was in the café next to the hotel and it was super. Very hi-tech with Bluetooth etc, and a heated toilet. On the negative: Booked a room with twin beds (two separate beds) as I was travelling with my teenage son, but got two beds together. The room itself was like a dungeon (it had a window at the end of the hall facing a wall right outside) - but on the other hand, very quiet.

- Ruth (8/5): Good hotel in the heart of Alicante - The hotel was in the heart of Alicante, close to many shops and restaurants. It was very close to the port. It also had good transport links by bus to the beaches and railway station, and just up the road was a tram stop which linked to other towns in the area all the way to Denia. My room was on the 5th floor but there was a lift. My room had 2 single beds in it which was okay though I would have prefered a double. It had a fridge so I could store milk and cold drinks. The bathroom had a bath. The AC worked well. I did not have a view from my room, but this did not matter to me as I was only using it to sleep in. The wifi was good. The hotel did not offer breakfast, but had a deal with a local cafe to buy a voucher for a continental breakfast. This worked well, the cafe was next to a square and it was lovely to sit outdoors in the sunshine. The reception staff were very informative and suggested good places to visit and the better local beaches. They are not there 24 hours so gave me 2 keys and told me to store them separately so that if one got lost, I could still get into my room.

Godt nok uden morgenmad, men da hotellet ligger lige i hjertet af Alicante, er det intet problem at finde en cafe eller bageri i området. Vi fik mulighed for at tjekke ind før tid og efter udtjekningen kunne vores bagage blive stående til senere afhentning. Selv om vi boede mod gaden (5. sal), blev vores søvn ikke generet af støj.

The room itself was fine, clean but a little dated. We found the receptionists were all helpful and friendly. We bought breakfast vouchers for the coffee shop next door. We enjoyed this as the location was great for sitting and people watching and the staff were lovely.

- Ruth (8/5): Leuk en goed verzorgd hotel. - Hotel Rambla, is een kleinschalig hotel. Het hotel is netjes en gezellig, de kamers worden elke dag schoon gemaakt . De ligging is ook perfect, binnen een minuut loop je zo de boulevard op.

- jingle (6/5): Good location but something has to give - It's a brilliant location, very central and easy access however on weekend nights the street is really busy and noisy and room is not soundproof. The locks of sliding doors to balcony are faulty I didn't feel safe first night but discovered that my neighbour was a family with young kid so it's fine. Overall the place is very basic & very clean and has a retro feeling. The staff were friendly and helpful.

- JOHN (6/5): A Night in Alicante. - I have stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions and it offers good value for money without thrills but certainly worth an overnight stay when getting an early flight the next morning. Plenty of good bars and restaurants including Tapas in the area.

There are good places to go locally for breakfast of pastry or tapas. Staff were relaxed & pleasant. We had a superior room to the front of the hotel on main thoroughfare so light sleepers be aware.
- Gráinne (4/5): Beware changes to your booking - They take no notice of hte details of your booking and reserve the right to change it if it suits them. This was a pre-flight night and day in Alicante, the last time together at the end ot a holiday. But although I booked a nice room with a view of the castle and sea, double bed and glassed-in porch/balcony with table and chairs, like the room I stayed in three years ago, we were given one with twin beds, less space, and a tiny open balcony equivalent to standing in an open window. ( It rained.)
- Dylan (6/5): Nice location, outdated rooms - Room were shabby and kind of gross, as were the hallways. Nice location, but Alicante is so small pretty much anywhere is a good location there. Staff was friendly, but for the price I think you can do better.

- Robert (4/5): - When entering the surroundings looked good, staff were very friendly. Got in lift and that smelt fresh but when doors open everything went down hill corridors looked shabby. Walked into room very cramped and dated looked very dinghy. No room to move with 2 people in room worse room stayed in a city.

- Verified traveler (8/5): Good location - Location is great. Close to all we wanted to see and do in Alicante. Our room looked a bit old and small, but clean. The only downside was the double bed which actually was two single beds together. So not comfortable.
- Natalie (6/5): - The first room I was shown too was awful, it was dark & dingy and cramped and what was meant to be a view of a courtyard was a lie as they don't have a courtyard, my view was a air conditioning vent and the window facing. I asked to be moved and had to pay extra for what the hotel described as a superior suite. It was a standing double room which was bigger, brighter and had a balcony although you couldn't sit on the balcony as the railing was too close to the door. The beds were really comfortable and I could have got a good sleep but if it wasn't for the fact the walls are paper thin and the room I was moved too was on the main road so it was extremely noisey. The hotel is in a good location and really close to the marina, shops, bars & resturants. most off the hotel I spoke to were lovely and very helpful.
- Clive (10/5): Great experience - This hotel is in a great location for Old Town, shopping, restaurants, beach and marina, offering a very reasonable room rate. The staff could not have been more helpful. Continental breakfast was pleasant and tasty. Free wifi in the room was a bonus and the provision of an electrical adaptor in the room was thoughtful as it saved plugging and unplugging appliances for my kettle and pc.

- JOHN (8/5): My one night stay in Alicante. - The location of the hotel is excellent for bars, restaurants and the beach. Very good value for money and a very friendly service from hotel staff at there for hotel guests.
- dean (10/5): Perfect Location. Very Clean and Tidy - Perfect Location, situated less thabn a minute from the main promenade and harbour, and less than a few minutes walk to the beach. Rooms where very clean, with lots of storage. Very basic hotel, but for short stays its perfect.

- Jillo (6/5): O.K. for overnight stay. - Good location right in the center. Rooms very basic, breakfast not too bad at all have had worst. No window in room which I did not like, overall you get what you pay for.
- Petal (8/5): great location - central to everything - Helpful receptionist with a great smile and rest of staff were just lovely considering my limited Spanish. Would skip the breakfast next time as exactly the same 2 croissants, bread roll, slice of cheese and slice of ham everyday for 10 days was a bit much when there are 100's of cafés close by. Had a huge room to myself which was spotless. Tried to give the cleaner a day off by putting up the Do not Disturb sign which caused all kinds of havoc - wont do that again.
- Lynn (8/5): Fantastic location - This hotel is a little run down but it was clean and in a perfect area for seeing the sights of this fascinating town. It's location on a busy road meant that it was a bit noisy at night.
- ESkimo Nell (8/5): Unbelievable - This hotel is unbelievably good value for money. We could not believe how little we paid for 2 nights for a hotel which was right in the middle of everything. Near the old town, near the beach, near the marine. The staff were lovely and really helpful. We had one interesting experience when my husband found a stocking between his sheet and the bed cover. They gave us a free breakfast worth 8 euros by way of an apology and they really showed that they were sorry. Such a new experience when nowadays most large organisations try to justify rather than rectify their mistakes. Go there . Alicante is beautiful
- minicoop (10/5): Fantastic Vacation with Friends - I stayed here with 2 of my friends for 5 days on the tail end of our trip. We're a group in our mid-20s so the basic amenities we just fine for us. The best thing about this hotel is the location. We took the train to Alicante and the cab from the main train station to the hotel was only about 10-15 euro. The hotel itself is right off the beach and about a minute away from all the nightlife. For the price, I don't think you can get any better than this.
- Anonymous (8/5): The best location and affordable price - Alicante is an amazing city and you can't get a better location than the Rambla. With this hotel you are in the center of it all. Bars, restaurants, clubs, shops are all on your same street. And to go to the beach its is only a 5min walk. If you want to get in the beach, nightlife, great food and shopping while in Alicante but dont want to spend much then the Rambla is where you stay.
