- John (9/5): Modern snug stay on the Great Ocean Road - Location is incredible. Facilities are modern and impeccably designed. Breakfast ingredients were of genuine quality and very tasty. All in all, an amazing place to stay. Although the breakfast is very tasty, it's overpriced.

Quite noisy at night through glass if other room have their door open or talk on their verandas. Did not know how to get staff to ask noisy guests to be quiet. Front office closed at 5pm. Noisy guests until about midnight
- Brigid (10/5): Awesomeness - We had a very comfortable quite private place with a lovely balcony .the pool and spa are beautifully clean and a lovely temperature warm .the staff at the restaurant were super friendly and helped us to check in even though reception was closed it was warm cosy atmosphere and the sorbet was delicious as was the beautiful margarita and great ocean road gin .i love the decore it’s really warm and beachy the organic tea real coffee clay cups and beautiful bells beach natural soaps make you feel like I imagine Byron must have been like in the nineties yeow 10 out of ten The shower head in that room was lovely but an upgrade to a sprayer or big rain one would be awesome.

Breakfast package was great and everything was very clean. Quite a noise coming from upstairs, we could hear every move they made, and there was alot!

- Baker (8/5): Nice venue, well appointed apartments but question marks around full value for money - Great location and the resort clearly has a degree of kerb appeal Some obvious scuffs and marks on the walls and the stairs leading up to the apartment were not that clean. I felt the "breakfast bag" was very overpriced for what was on offer and I decided to opt out of having it. Not good value. I think if you are charging higher than many other motels/hotels in that area you need to be absolutely on point.

- Linda (10/5): Special touches make the stay memorable. - Booked for one night as a stopover and was not expecting too much. Boy were we wrong. Lovely bright open reception are and plenty of care from staff. Onsite parking wgich was helpful and good sized. Our room was a delight, beach vibe but not over the top, definitely felt like a resort rather than your average motel. Quality of the amenities was excellent,including a very very nice shampoo and conditioner and body wash that I would happily buy for home. Nespresso pod coffee and herbal teas were also a welcome change. Pool and spa were wonderful to relax in, we stayed way past the crinkly finger stage. We didn’t eat at the restaurant abut was impressed to see the number of gluten free meals on the menu. Bed was a true king and very nice to sleep on. Noticed that along with the usual iron and board etc there was also a compact clothes drying rack. Given the rooms all gave a verandah seating area as well, it allowed a way to dry towels and wetgear outside. Good working split system and a place for bags and hanging clothes too. Shower was oversized and water pressure excellent. Would have liked a little more bench around the sink but that’s a small thing. Felt like a lot of thought had gone in to small touches that make you feel at home but also a bit special. Would happily come back for a longer stay.

- fiona (8/5): A beautiful resort, with many wonderful facilities and located amongst many other wonderful attractions. - The room was really lovely, especially the bathroom and lounge. The pool, trampolines, gym, tennis court and gardens were wonderful. The pool being so warm was the best! My bed was comfy. As a mum it was a treat to come back to the cabin and find the beds made and bins emptied. Also, the layout of the room was fantastic. The kitchenette is not really made for proper cooking. I think there should be instructions provided with this kitchen. The stove was cramped and confusing to use. A smaller saucepan would have been helpful. The freezer, we were told, is actually an icebox(our ice-creams melted). There’s no oven. The cutlery provided is odd sizes and not really sufficient(child size forks and knives). Some thicker soft blankets are needed for those cold nights.

Walk to general store, shops easy. Lovely walking around the bay. Visitor information centre across the road and VERY helpful - Thanks Jenny. Pick up some groceries at the great IGA. Breakfast - we paid for inclusion and were offered a bag with a loaf of bread, butter and jam. Underwhelming. Room had coffee pods however. Room next to cleaning room was noisy. No outdoor light.
- Claire (10/5): Lovely resort - Great location, lovely views. Clean and resort like location and good amenities. Great beach aesthetic and the tennis courts were very well maintained with an easy process to borrow rackets and balls. Looking forward to staying here again.

The room was beautifully appointed and presented. It had everything we needed for a lovely stay. The pool and spa were a little busy for our liking but the in-room spa we had more than made up for it.

The room wasn't very clean when we checked in and the staff didn't come for cleaning even though we extended the stay for one more day. The facilities of the hotel like pool, etc. were closed.

Parking on the premises. - You pay a considerable amount extra for breakfast included. It consists of a small loaf of bread, a small pot of jam, a cube of butter and a small bottle of orange juice in a paper bag that you receive at check-in. - There was a big tv screen that lit up with a dimmed light when there was movement at night. I guess to enable you to find the toilet. But it also lit up if you moved in bed, which was very annoying. It was not clear whether/how this could be disabled. - The room is quite small, but there is a small terrace in front of it where you can sit. Unfortunately there is zero privacy on your terrace. Perhaps this will improve over time when the green has matured more.

First night we had Otway pasta. The pasta not well cooked and too stiff. The 2nd night 4 of us had Slow braised beef shin, The beef meat very rough. We all disappointed with food.

Das Frühstückspaket ist ganz nett- Brot, Marmelade,Butter- ich würde lieber weniger zahlen und selber Frühstück kaufen. Wir konnten zur Check in Zeit nicht ins Zimmer und mussten immer wieder kommen- insgesamt 3-4 mal. Das kann schonmal passieren, aber eine Entschuldigung oder dergleichen wäre nett, wenn man mir zwei kleinen Kindern auf dem Parkplatz warten muss

The room was clean, the bed was comfy (great pillows), and it suited our requirements perfectly. We thought the cost of the accommodation was great value. Not applicable

- White (9/5): Great location. Large comfortable family room. Would definitely stay again - We had a lovely one-night stay at Great Ocean Road Resort in Anglesea. The location is perfect—quiet, relaxing, and close to the beach and town. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well set up for a short getaway. Staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the stay even better. Overall, a great spot for a relaxing stop along the Great Ocean Road. We’d happily stay again

Pool was great The apartment furniture, floors, and even the walls had handprints and stains and were awfully uninviting … especially the sofa. Was yuck !!

- Kilian (10/5): Wunderbar, wir können das Hotel sehr empfehlen. - Es war wundervoll! Wir haben eine Nacht verlängert! In erster Linie wegen dess Buschfeuers, aber wir genossen den zweiten Tag widerum sehr. Auch das tolle Restaurant, dass zum Hotel gehört ist zu erwähnen!!! Wir haben wunderbar gegessen. Fisch und viel Gemüse und Salat!!! Auch die Weine aus der Umgebung waren köstlich. Das Personsl ist sehr nett!!! Ein paar Spinnen mussten wir entfernen.
