- Nupur Bipin (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay at Mackenzie Beach Resort in the Airstream trailer. The beach access nearby made the sunset walks at the beach so easy. The hot tub was a great bonus, and it was our first time camping in a trailer, so it was fun getting the full RV experience. The twinkling lights in the evening made the whole place feel extra cozy and relaxing.
- Tracy (8/5): A unique one-off accommodation experience - Something different. Enjoyed the hot tub. It’s clear from reading older reviews that the owners have done a lot to improve the grounds. No microwave. Curtains allow a lot of light in and don’t cover the windows completely. Quite pricey.
- Ryan (8/5): Beautiful, tranquil and clean! - Staff was accommodating and pleasant. The bungalow itself was very clean, comfortable and cute. We loved the vibe, the TV and the big shower. Kitchen was well set up. The fire pit and hot tub were incredible to enjoy and we definitely enjoyed ourselves! The beach is beautiful 😍 and the lobby was gorgeous as well. We will definitely be back! Bed could be a bit more comfortable, but we still slept great!
- Mackenzie (10/5): - We stayed in a surfer suite. We LOVED the outdoor space with patio, fire, hot tub, and barbecue. It felt like camping but with all the amenities and comfort of a hotel room. The location is INSANE! A very short walk to one of the loveliest beaches. You can also have a beach fire in the evening and the resort had wood for sale. The staff were super friendly and checking in and out was so easy. Amazing café on site! We will 100% be going back to stay here! The heated bathroom floor, incredible and the option of the outdoor shower was magical. Showering with a fern, yes please!!!!!! The pillows are really bad...very hard and to big for anyone who sleeps on their side or back. A coffee maker in the room would have been nice. Other than that...0 complaints. Honestly, a great place.

The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was well-stocked with lotions and shampoo, etc. Well I'm not certain the reason for the inside of the room being devoid of any pictures, art, or decoration of any kind. Theft?Something more to clean. It kind of felt like a white cave. The main reason for my low score, is the parking lot, which had piles of cigarette butts everywhere, dirty piles of dead leaves, and former landscaping that has been left to become really neglected. The steps up to our room were filthy, and the concrete balcony (that is accessed by several rooms) was crumbling and very dirty. The gravel 'flower bed' below the steps...a former decorative feature...was so overgrown with scruffy weeds that needed attention. Now I realize this is a budget Motel, but the complaints I'm outlining would take an employee a few hours to clean up! And that's a generous time frame! I'm not suggesting 'golf course manicured', but come on...show some pride in the surroundings. And perhaps some art in the rooms...bolted to the wall if they keep getting stolen?

- Carolyn (10/5): Unique and luxe getaway spot! - We stayed in an airstream and loved it. This is pretty cool in its own, but MBR’s renovation of their airstreams is really well done and very clean! The private and covered patios and cedar hot tubs are charming and luxe. We found the bed to be goldilocks for us - not too firm, not too soft. I would absolutely go back and seek to stay a few days. Lastly: you can’t beat the beach! A 3 minutes walk and easy to pop back for your ice cold refills. Not a dealbreaker for us: but know that the shower is petite.

- Liliia (9/5): It’s was amazing. - Everything was excellent: the location, amenities, cleanliness, order, coziness, and atmosphere. Everything felt perfect. However, there were a couple of downsides. First, for a rate of $400 per night, we were expected to do quite a bit of cleaning ourselves. I fully understand washing the dishes and tidying the bed, but the rules also required us to sweep and mop the floors and clean the grill. For the price we paid, I don’t think that’s reasonable. Second, the doors were not designed for ventilation or at least didn’t have screens. At night we wanted to let in some fresh air by slightly opening the door, but unfortunately, we couldn’t do that—it felt unsafe, as wildlife or insects could easily come inside.
- Heather (6/5): Overall we were pleased with our stay, just not as amazed as we had expected. - We stayed in an Airstream and were pleased with our overall experience. The resort is right at the beach with quick access to town if needed. We enjoyed the camp experience without having to bring along the basics. I was impressed with the kitchen amenities, even equipped with a can opener! There were some less than ideal conditions to also note. The lane where the Airstreams and modern units are located is very very narrow which made getting to our unit extremely challenging. Parking on an angle was key however there was no turn around and no room for trucks or midsize cars! The price per night seemed high for the condition of the resort and amenities, but considering everything in Tofino is over priced I guess it’s not terrible. We did have to clean our own dishes and empty all garbages before checkout though. Perhaps a standard airstream fault but worth noting in case others aren’t aware, that any slight movement in the trailer and the unit would rock/bounce, like gently readjusting seating position at the dinette seat would rock the whole unit!

- Diệp (8/5): A lovely getaway in a cool concept accommodation. - I like the concept of the mobile home. Everything was so cozy. The private outdoor hot tub with essential oil was a hit! The unit was shaky when the wind was too strong at night which woke me up a few times. If it could be more secured, it’d be wonderful.

I appreciate the promptness and though - I love the location, it’s a perfect spot to go out for a stroll in a beach. We stayed in a cabin and it has everything we need. It might not be ideal for a family of 3 as bedroom is little small but ideal for couple. Nothing
- Eva (7/5): Great location but not perfect - We booked this property based on the location on the beach and the private hot tub. The room was extremely small. The room did have everything you would need for a 3 night stay such as microwave, toaster, kettle etc. but because the room was so small it really felt cramped and awkward trying to make a cup of coffee and toast at the same time. There was no where to plug in and place the appliances at the same time. The fire alarm went off a couple of times in the middle of the night waking us up abruptly, and during the day there were loud noises from the renovations going on in the cabin/suite next to us.

- Patrick (7/5): - Good location. Staff were friendly and helpful, beach access was great. Walls were paper thin and could hear everything our neighbour's said and did. They need to figure that out because it makes bringing kids to the resort difficult.

Loved our stay in their renovated airstream trailers, the staff were especially helpful when I requested birthday decorations to be set up in the trailer for when we arrived. They were easy to communicate with, their kindness and accommodation for my request exceeded my expectations!

- Les Woodland (2/5): - Nice location close to the beach and Tofino. Room did not meet our expectations and we decided not to stay ( We did not use the room ). The staff agreed to do a full refund and said they would contact Booking to arrange that. Booking agreed to do the refund once the property agreed. A of couple days later, we got an email from the resort saying they changed their mind and decided to keep one night fee as per the contract. They claimed they would be out Booking fees and cleaning fees. We offered to deduct booking fee, and no cleaning would be required. While within their rights to take one night payment, it was dirty pool to agree to refund it all, and then to pull it away. Not nice. Landed up staying next door at Middle Beach Lodge...a vastly superior property.

There was a table outside, but it stormed with high winds the whole time we were there. The deck was covered, but the wind blew so hard the deck was soaked all the time. Upon arrival, we were given a list of rules that stated three days between towel changes. we used the towel for hot tub and showers with no place to dry them. While we realized the hotel could not control the weather, we felt the lack of seating was detrimental to our vacation

Airstreamer stereo was a nice touch. Some hooks for hanging clothes would be useful, especially if staying for a longer period of time.

- HANNAH B (10/5): Great location, comfortable room with easy beach access. - The room was clean and comfy and warm. The underfloor heating in the bathroom was particularly nice. The firepit and hot tub on our private patio was a lovely treat and the staff left us a lovely card for our anniversary. Covering of the patio could have been a bit better, we couldn't sit out there too much with the rain unfortunately.
