• CJTalbot (8/5): Excellent value and good accommodations. - Great staff, excellent breakfast. Rooms are very small. Its fine, we don't spend much time in the room, but there was no real 'lounge' where you could enjoy coffee or happy hour without being in the diningroom. In summer there is an extensive outdoor space, but it really wasn't warm enough or ready in early May.

The establishment was clean and tidy. The 2 twin bed room was a bit small, but it worked. The crepes for breakfast were outstanding!

J'ai beaucoup apprécié l'accès au Lac Brome pour la baignade. La chambre et la salle de bain était très propre. La chambre était un peu petite, c'était surprenant que la porte ouvre quasiment sur le lit... Peut-être que de disposer les meubles d'une autre manière donnerait plus d'espace...

The room was extremely noisy due to the non existant sound proofing, we enjoyed the noise from the family during the night and also the morning farts of the family when they used the toilet. We heard all footsteps in the corridor throughout the night.

• Sandy (9/5): Beautiful property in a beautiful area of Quebec. Gorgeous dining room and friendly staff. - Delicious breakfast in a gorgeous dining room. Dinner was also wonderful. The couches around the big fireplace in the dining room were a perfect place to finish our wine. The bedroom in our suite was comfortable. The fireplace nook in the bedroom was a nice touch. We spent most of our time there rather than in the awkwardly shaped front room. We loved the trails around the property and the amazing gourmet store! The front room in our Lac Brome suite was long and narrow. The TV was oversized and too close to the couch. We were only there for one night so it didn’t really matter. Internet and WIFi was spotty, but again, we were only there for a short time. The Inn is quite close to the road which surprised us after looking at the photos when we booked. There was a bit of road noise in our bedroom.

• Debra (10/5): Quaint, charming, warm, and beautiful with wonderful customer service. Great location! - A charming property! The staff was friendly, welcoming and provided wonderful, attentive customer service. The on-site Alize restaurant (located just beyond the lobby) provided a cozy, inviting atmosphere to sit when not dining. The fire was always burning and attended to -- especially appreciated as we were there in late October. Coffee was brought to us while sitting by the fire early mornings, and breakfast was fabulous!! We're looking for a time when we can return. Highly recommend! I can't think of anything that would have made our visit more enjoyable.

• carmen (8/5): - Acceuil chaleureux, l'environnement magnifique avec la terrasse, le boisé, les sentiers et petit lac à proximité. Chambre propre et lit confortable, mais le plancher n'était pas à niveau, ce qui fait que pour aller ds la salle de bain la nuit on avait l'impression d'être étourdi à cause de la dénivellation. Déjeuner excellant ,malheureusement il n'y avait plus de souper offert sur semaine en septembre, et le village est à 15 min en auto. . Je retournerais à cet endroit sans hésiter .
• Michel (8/5): Nous avons bien aimé notre séjour au Domaine Jolivent!! - Le personnel très sympathique. Les chambres sont très biens et propres. De très belles pistes pédestres et chaque espace sur le terrain est pense. Nous y retournerons c’est certain. Le seul chose qui nous déçu le restaurant pour souper était fermé du lundi au jeudi à partir de la mid septembre. Par contre ils ont une petite boutique bien équipé en fromage,pâtés de foie gras de toute sorte et des craquelins, vins et bières.

Also a very nice pool and inviting seating areas, indoor and out. The room and the bathroom, as well as the shower stall, felt a little tight for my preference, but all were nicely equipped (toiletries, bedding) and more than adequate. The hotel is in the midst of expansion as we speak and I would definitely consider returning.

L’area verde circostante è molto rilassante e piacevole. C’è la possibilità di fare piccole passeggiate lungo dei sentieri tracciati o noleggiare delle canoe. Carina la piscina ed il ristorante all’aperto. Colazione top Niente da segnalare, se proprio vogliamo trovare una cosa da aggiungere potrebbero mettere a disposizione degli ospiti delle biciclette e le canoe gratuitamente

• Irlantilainen (10/5): La Québec Profonde - Characterful old country house restored as a small hotel deep in the woods of the Cantons de l'Est. Set back across Rte. 215 from Lac Brome, it offers a warm welcome and wonderful food in it's two restaurants, one with outside seating. Our rooms were pleasant, but not spacious; the beds were very comfortable. Nearby Lac Brome/Knowlton (with a very interesting museum of local life and history), and, further south, Sutton, are two small and lively towns well worth visiting. Nearby back-road US border crossings are quick and quiet, with minimal formalities. The whole area is gratifyingly rural and French-speaking, though everyone also speaks English. Recommended.

• Sightsee08748467842 (10/5): Absolutely Awesome! - We stayed at Jolivent for two nights to take the Three Pines Tour, which was amazing. Jolivent is a beautiful place. We had a very comfortable room and bed, an amazing meal at Alize, and took a wonderful hike on the many kilometers of trails on the property. The entire staff from the owner to the front desk folks to the chef to the wait staff could not have been friendlier. We cannot wait to go back!

It was clean, played relaxing music, and had a fireplace they let us use even after the staff had left. We had visited ten years ago, and it still has the same charm today! I wish the restaurant was open on more weekdays in the winter. The food has always been fantastic.

What was unexpected was the wonderful breakfast that was included next morning. I had the 3 egg omelette (was gluten free), fresh fruit and breakfast potatoes with GF bread and what seemed like homemade raspberry jam. Worth the $20 for quality if your packaged doesn't include breakfast. There is free tea and Nespresso and there's a boutique store that's was like a mini cafe with gourmet items. Tried the feta samosa and GF dessert and it was wonderful. Very satisified with our stay and will return if in area.

• Jocelyn (10/5): Very pleasant hotel, albeit with small rooms, beautiful grounds with a lovely pond where to enjoy an avening cocktail. S - The Mistral restaurant. Great menu and super service! Slightly too pricey for small rooms and for the food, and a very tiny shower. Not recommended for chubby travellers!

• Diane (10/5): - Loved being out of town on property by lake and pond with walkable trail. Breakfast included, ate in nicely decorated, warm barn (cool); 2 nights dinner in terrace outside. Good friendly servers. Highly recommend staying here.

• Debbie (9/5): Superb - My friends and I arrived after 7pm, due to detours in the roads around the area. The front desk receptionist was so understanding and she even stayed past her 7pm shift to check us in. She even got on the phone when I passed it to the road crew guy to speak in French to him to let us through as local traffic. (They could not let us pass because road was actually being dug up by a tractor at that time.). But she went above and beyond for us! Now, THAT is customer service🙌

• Maureen (10/5): Lovely hotel near a beautiful lake and charming villages. - The terrace was lovely. I also liked the other outdoor spaces as well As the pond. The breakfasts were very nice. The staff was very helpful.

• aer99 (10/5): Perfect getaway - Just returned from a fantastic get away at Domaine Jolivent. Everything was perfect from check in to check out. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Room was cozy, comfortable, updated and very clean. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful. Had breakfast at the terrace Mistral and the food was very good, service even better. Can’t wait for our next visit.

• Josee (10/5): - La piscine est grande et bien entretenue. Le personnel est irréprochable et à l'écoute. Les lits et oreillers sont très confortables. J'aurais préféré moins de musique le matin.
• denis (6/5): - Il n'y a pas de télévision. Le déjeuner est trop tard. Le personnel est sympa. Une erreur est survenue au restaurant car la caissière a demandé de payer un spritz déjà réglé. La piscine est parfaite L'accès au lac Brome est ridicule .
• Marc (10/5): Un très bel hôtel de charme - Un très bel hôtel de charme très bien situé Une chambre magnifique, un dîner et un petit déjeuner au top. Une terrasse très agréable pour le soir et le matin. Possibilité de faire une ballade à pied vers le lac Brome et le petit lac privatif de l'hôtel. Nous choisirions cet hôtel pour une future visite de la région.

• katsway2 (10/5): Perfect spot to relax - Domaine Jolivent is an oasis of comfort in the Eastern Townships. My husband and I wanted to take a short road trip through part of the Eastern Townships and had never been there before. We chose Domaine Jolivent on a friend's recommendation and it was perfect. One could basically just stay there for a totally relaxing weekend. The rooms are not large although very comfortable. The property is the gem. There is a large pool with lots of seating, water access to Lac Brome (a beautiful large lake) ,across the road, boat and bike rentals , a very large property with walking paths and an exquisite small private lake where one can sit in a variety of spots to relax and admire the natural landscape . Another gem is the outdoor Bistro where breakfast is served. One can also reserve for dinner in the evening. It is a very popular spot so absolutely recommend you reserve. The food is very good and the ambience is great. The attention to detail is significant and the whole place feels like a labor of love. The staff smile constantly and no request is too small or not dealt with immediately. We are definitely going back.
• Ann (8/5): Very good - Nice property and facilities. Good breakfast.. enjoyed the pool. Comfortable beds . Nice staff Couldn't control the air conditioner. The shower was very unsafe, nothing to hold on to if you slip. The restaurant dinner menu was disappointing and over priced
