La seconde fois, nous avons eu une chambre côté rue, c’est un peu plus bruyant … Dans tous les cas, nous avons apprécié nos séjours dans cet hôtel. Le personnel est très accueillant et le petit déjeuner est très bon.

I did ask for a birthday celebration and the only way they front desk must've known was looking at my passport during check-in. I checked in with Patricia and she must've sent up the sweet treat and 3 people up to my room to sing Happy Birthday to me!

Fomos recebidos com algumas cortesias no frigobar (garrafas de águas com gás, cervejas, refrigerantes). O quarto é tão quentinho no frio que dispensa o aquecedor portátil. Carpete muito limpo e sem cheiro (sou alérgico e não tive nenhum problema). Cama, travesseiros, roupa da cama, tudo de qualidade. Chuveiro ótimo. Com pressão e água bem quente. O quarto que peguei no piso superior era muito grande. Silêncio absoluto para dormir a noite. Café da manhã bem variado e gostoso. Equipe simpática e prestativa. Uma ótima opção de hospedagem em Cusco. Voltaria a me hospedar Nada me desagradou.

• Kraemer (9/5): Nice stay in Cusco - Nice hotel close to the action. Hotel had nice double pane casement windows which kept the street noise down surprisingly well. Nice breakfast with opportunity to order eggs the way you wish as well as scrambled available at the buffet. Nice bakery across the street to pick up a late night fresh churro for 2 soles! Some patrons would forget to close the door to the breakfast room which made it cool in the mornings but nice if it was closed.

It is fronting the main streets which tends to be noisy during peak hours
• Heidi (9/5): An Oasis in Central Cusco - Great location if you like being "in the center of it all" as you're a block from the public market and a 5 minute walk to Plaza de Armas with many restaurants, shopping, etc. Spacious room with great amenities although the WiFi was a bit spotty. Enjoyed the courtyard in which to relax and enjoy a great breakfast buffet with numerous options. Also, the staff was very amenable and friendly in all regards. Unfortunately, our room was near a nightclub which had very loud music until the early hours.

The hotel is strategically located near to attractions like Plaza de Armas, Cusco Cathedral, Centro Historico de Cusco and good restaurants, just a walking distance from the hotel. The hotel room is clean and comfortable. The hotel staff are very accommodating, helpful, and friendly. To name a few, you will always be greeted with smiles by Phatrycia, Jhonathan, and Fernando. If you have questions and need help, just ask and they are happy to assist. I'll definitely book again in the future.

• MiguelV170 (10/5): Awesome Stay! - It was my second time staying at this hotel. I like it because it is close to the main square (five blocks). The hotel is nice. It is a typical old hispanic house. Its price is reasonable. My bedroom was nice, wide, clean and quiet (despite the traffic outside). The washroom was nice and clean. I checked-in on my birthday ... the staff surprised me while I am having breakfast the next morning with "birthday pancakes" (see picture) and sang "happy birthday". It made my day! The buffet breakfast was very delicious :-) Yes, hotel's employees are the best. Thank you! I have already recommended this hotel to a colleague who plans to travel to Cusco in July.

The hotel stored our bags and provided a breakfast bag for our early start. The combination of breakfast buffet and items cooked to order was great. Loved the big comfortable beds and good water pressure in the shower. Staff were all very friendly.

A nice big mirror. Soaps and shampoo. TV. Free WiFi. Breakfast 5am-10am every day. Don't go at 5, the warm foods are not yet ready. My room was chilly, they brought me an extra radiator. The service is very nice, English well spoken. No refrigerator or kettle in the room but the safety storage is there.

• Sophie (9/5): - Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig und gemütlich. Das Frühstück war ausgiebig, inkludiert waren auch Pancakes, Eierspeise etc. Die Lage war gut, ca. 5 Mins vom Hauptplatz entfernt. Unser Zimmer hatte das Fenster zum Innenhof und war sehr ruhig. Wir haben nichts zu beanstanden, der Service war sehr gut.

Fiqueui duas noites, deixei minhas malas, fui para Machu Picchu e voltei para mais uma noite. Muito solicitos em guardas as malas, tudo muito limpo. Ja que tem que falar algo, acho que as toalhas e roupões poderiam ser de melhor qualidade. Parece que já foram muito usadas, então ja estao mais asperas. E o quarto como é muito grande pode ficar bem frio sem aquecedor extra.

We loved very much the location and environment of this hotel. I practiced TaiChi every morning in the central court under new sun and beautiful plants with flowers in company. Maria, nice girl at the reception, was very much helpful to everyone of our group in finding good restaurants or good shops or places to visit. • SagarSavla (10/5): Great hotel. Would visit again and recommend it. - We were very happy with our stay here. We stayed 2 separate nights here. There was an initial confusion with the booking. It was hotels.com or Expedia fault. They didn’t send them that we would be 3 people even though we had specified it in our reservation. Hotels.com customer service was horrible and useless but Tierra Viva staff was very nice about it and didn’t charge us anything extra. The rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. We were on the upper floors on both occasions. The staff helped carry our luggage to the rooms and also bring them down at checkout. We left 2 pieces of luggage during our first stay. When we returned they had put the luggage in our room already. Location of the hotel is very central and close to the main square. Area was lively and felt very safe. Breakfast had good selection and the staff helped us get some hot milk for our son. Overall apply with our stay and would be glad to come back.
