Isto demorou o nosso ingresso no AL

- Armenio (10/5): Perfect - All the environment was very enjoyable
- Matthew (9/5): Superb -
- Carole (8/5): We want to bring our nine children and our grandkids to experience the hotel and the charming town. - Unique doesn’t begin to describe the ambiance. Everywhere we looked, there were intriguing mementos of the five generations of owners. The hostess was charming and delightful. Room was chilly and the heater provided didn’t ever manage to overcome the weather.
- Linda (9/5): Superb - Beautiful property with warm, friendly welcome. Nothing
- Steven (10/5): - We had a great time. The house staff were amazi g and friendly. The town was a hidden gem that we loved as well.
- Vania (9/5): Superb -
- steve (10/5): - Fabulous historic hotel in the centre. Full of character. Spotlessly clean. The housekeeper is outstanding and super focussed on guest experience. We loved it
NO ESPERÉIS NADA. HE ESTADO DE MOCHILERA EN HOSTALES MUCHÍSIMO MEJORES. EL EDIFICIO POR FUERA MUY BONITO. POR DENTRO UNA CERDADA. OS ACONSEJO VER LAS FOTOS DE GOOGLE. QUE ME HA COSTADO SUNIR PORQUE VETAN LAS RESEÑAS. EXPEDIA TAMPOCO ME HA AYUDADO EN NADA. NUNCA MÁS VOLVERÉ A PASARLO TAN MAL.NOS HEMOS VUELTO A ESPAÑA EL MISMO DÍA DE LO MAL QUE LO HEMOS PASADO.INDESCRIPTIBLE
- José (7/5): Good -
- Shirley (10/5): Exceptional - Wonderful house, great location, wholesome breakfast, hospitable hosts. This was our second stay in recent weeks. We just love this property!
- Andrew (7/5): Good -
- Shirley (10/5): A wonderful stay in an exceptional house! - Beautiful 17 century family property, where you are likely to meet a member of the family. Many personal items, photographs and portraits are on display. We enjoyed talking to Francisco, who was keen to elaborate on his family and explain the photos and portraits. We were made to feel very welcome. A big thank you to Céu, who took time to show us around the house and who made the wonderful breakfast with home-made preserves and cakes.
- June (10/5): Exceptional - A wonderful experience and a really interesting place to stay. Great host, great breakfast and a privilege so stay in one of the oldest houses in Portugal
- Susana (8/5): Very good -
- Marie (5/5): I would not return because of the musty humid stale - Very nice location across the church, adorable village. The house dates from the 17th century, very imposing and full of antiques. The staff was very nice and friendly with great service. The elephant in the room is the terrible musty smell.
- Jeshua (10/5): - It was a unique experience to stay in a 500 year old property. Breakfast was okay and the service and hospitality were fantastic.
- Ruth (8/5): One of a Kind - The hospitality and breakfast were exceptional. The hotel is a beautiful old building, refurbished to a high quality. Due to the nature of the window fittings, there are slight gaps at the wooden shutters, and I would be nervous about mosquitos during the hot summer months.
- Bruno (10/5): Exceptional -
- Patricia (10/5): Our stay was exceptional. - Casa Nobre de Correio-Mor is the most beautiful old house full of antique furniture. Our bedroom was perfect with big windows opening to a view over the town to the river. Breakfast was delicious. I would rate our stay as exceptional. Nothing
- João (9/5): Great place to stay if you want a typicall regional house of Ponte da Barca. Amazing staff! - Great location
Amazing breakfast
Unique experience of staying in a classic house in the center of the village Pool amenities could be better (i.e. lounge chairs..)
- Joao (10/5): A restful, most comfortable base from where to explore this part of Minho. - A delightful manor-house; hosted by a most dedicated person, wonderful breakfast, local bread still made and baked the local baker! Nothing.
- NIALL (10/5): Wonderful place and genuine hospitality. - This ‘house’ is more like a miniature castle, stuffed with antiques, curios and paraphernalia of times past. It has personality in spades and will remain in your memory. The photos give you a good idea. We absolutely loved it. The best aspect however was the lady working there, Céu, who is just a delight: so friendly, warm, chatty and couldn’t do enough for you, including cooking delicious cakes for breakfast. She reminded me of being back in my home country of Ireland. Ponte da Barca is small but perfectly formed, with a river beach and famous bridge and a bigger version, equally beautiful, Ponte de Lima, is just down the road. A treasure of a place for those who are happy to forego the modern in favour of character and history.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Staying here is like taking a step in to the past. You won't find 5 star accommodations but will be really happy with the culture service and staff. You're steps to everything this little town has to offer.
- Anton (8/5): Herenhuis - Een zeer mooi oud herenhuis .
- olga (10/5): - It is an old mansion that has been in one family for many years. Everything in great condition. The owner gave us a tour of the property, it was fascinating. We only stayed one night, but i wish we stayed longer. Great base for exploring near by towns and the national park.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Close to the river and local shops for an enjoyable walk.
The property is beautiful and well maintained.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Ingen åbnede for os i receptionen. Blev nødt til at finde anden overnatning
- grn_gem (10/5): - The Ceu could not be more helpful ... she was always available to help in any way possible ... all you had to do is ask!
- Eunice Chua (8/5): Vintage building - I was impressed by the preserved old vintage building . More of totally out of urban lifestyle. Very small town and less people in there . Nice place for author and people who want to be in quiet pace .
- Eric Otto (10/5): Exquisite interiors - It is an exceptional and loving work of preservation, yet retains the quality of a familial home that has been used by several generations.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Beautiful Portuguese Manor House hotel. - We had such a lovely stay at this lovingly restored Portuguese Manor House. Full of wonderful antiques and so comfortable and clean! The pool was a welcome addition which kept our teenage boys happy at the end of a busy day exploring the region. The family were extremely hospitable and between them spoke English, French and Spanish. They were so helpful when it came to booking excursions and finding places to eat out- they gave us insider knowledge of the area! It's an unusual place to stay but we were so glad that we chose it. We got a real taste of North Portugal and the culture of the region here. We experienced a musical festival in the town square, listened to live Portuguese music by the river and watched the locals practice for their Saints day festival in traditional costumes! Something was going on everyday.
- OG (10/5): big and decorated house - very satisfied, nice welcome, room with a view
- JJSF (10/5): WILL BE BACK! - We can't wait to go back. Senhor Francisco (Chico) treated us as members of his family. Gave us a private tour of the mansion and invited us to join his family, about 50 strong, in celebrating the "Sao Bartolomeu" festivities). Obrigado!
