The improper communication about the presence of a proper EV charger at booking time on a personal call by their staff caused us a great deal of inconvenience ! The two people who made my stay memorable was their service person Pratip and the bar Manager who served so willingly and with a smile exhibiting true hospitality - Keep it up Pratip ! Have rooms on ground and first floor . Well equipped restaurant and Bar. Rooms are good sized and equipped with all necessary amenities. Two good Banquet halls. Plenty of secure parking. Breakfast spread is excellent, even the lunch and dinner spread was good, delicious and sumptuous. Lots of activities for adults and children. Service is excellent. Check in and check out is smooth and quick Overall Enjoyed our two days of stay.

The cake was absolutely delicious and made the celebration even more memorable. What touched my heart the most was the extra care they showed towards my 8-month-old baby. They went out of their way to prepare special meals for her, ensuring everything was fresh, safe, and made with love. As a mother, that kind of attention means everything. The staff throughout our stay was incredibly courteous, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. It didn’t feel like just a hotel stay — it felt personal, comfortable, and genuinely caring. - Mary (4/5): Just ok I would not book the same hotel again. - Food was amazing and the staff were really good to us and very patient . This is not beach hotel as there is a dirty river between the hotel and the beach. The path to the beach which is a public path is very dusty . The apartments are far away and in a very pathetic environment so we upgraded and moved to the hotel which was not any better as the rooms were tiny . The king size bed had 2 small bed sheets for single bed😞. The bedding’s were dirty and we had to request for change of beddings. The photos posted are not a true presentation of the status . The villas cannot accommodate a family and their environment is not anything to look forward to.
- Steve.1 (9/5): Great place to stay. - Great new hotel, just off the husle bustle of the main street, but close to beach and all the bars and restaurants. Rooms were modern and clean, just as in the photo's. Staff were friendly and helpful, housekeeping was great. Breakfast was a small menu selection but quality was good and it varied from day to day a little bit. Would definitely come back again. Nothing.
- Silverbuzzard1948 (10/5): Little gem ,hidden away - We have visited The Nanu several times since the 90's. it has transformed each time we visit. A mile off the nearest highway secluded on it's own 1 1/2 miles above Colva to the south on an endless, deep sandy beach. It has never disappointed. The first day Angelus the manager made himself known to us to find out if we had any requirements as he did every day superb attentiveness. Everyone from the gardeners upwards made sure they greeted us as we passed it made you feel part of the family. Valanay, a charming young lady who was the sports coordinator, also made herself known to us and sought to speak to us each day she was able to suggest places to visit in Goa as we were travelling around the country on a 350cc motorbike and extremely helpful. The restaurant staff were also there, for everything we needed or wanted I think the training of the staff, centered on attentiveness. Michael who was one of the restaurant managers also sought to to be helpful daily thanks to him for the hot toddies he managed to rustle up for my sore throat. If you've ever seen the hundred foot journey where a chef is judged on his omlette, Pratap the omlette chef is the man, superb omelettes, I would think he served about 100 each morning. The restaurant is open air overlooking a large lawn and the swimming pool and at 33 deg each day it was great outdoor dining. The breakfast buffet is vast with every type of cuisine imaginable. The option was to either walk a hundred yards out of the back gate to the beach and have a sundowner looking directly at the setting sun followed by tiger prawns the size of your hand or dine at the restaurant, a good menu with fillet steak at £6 a pop, good value for money. There are several beach shacks to choose from all good value. The Pina coladas to be recommended. It is a wedding venue so when there is one, there is some noise, you're part of the wedding but not ,fascinating to watch. Thank you Angelus for the invitation to the cocktail party on the top deck with the setting sun, an excellent idea for guests to mingle and get to know each other. The beach is monitored by lifeguards and safe just don't swim out too far, heed their instructions. thanks to all of you, you gave us a great time, we'll return in a couple of years time.

After discussion they called it an upgrade from 2 bedroom to 1 room with 4 of us squeezed. They even charged us 😔. When asked for late check out. Refused point blank. We had a baby with us. Explained above. They could have given us 2 rooms and a late check out. That would have made us happy.

Loud music played constantly from 11:00 to 20:00 at an empty bar staff completely ignored all complaints or requests to move rooms. Nightmare situation, this is not a pleasant relaxing place. This is such a shame the restaurant is good, the rooms are comfortable, the pool and spa excellent. It is in a very isolated location with limited and expensive taxi service. We will certainly never return, overall an unpleasant noisy experience.

Breakfast especially the pork dish I believe the temperature was high and the taste was not to the pork standard. It tasted stale. Food must be introduced more on the buffet table.

На самом деле апартаменты находятся в живописном месте, окна выходят на джунгли, где вы можете увидеть множество птиц, в том числе знаменитого в ГОА зимородка (kingfisher). Если прогуливаться пешком от апартаментов до отеля, то это займет у вас 10-15 минут, по дороге вы также можете знакомиться с природой - луга, где пасутся коровы, вокруг которых крутятся цапли, хлебное дерево, дерево с помело, папайю и т.д. Сами апартаменты чистые, убирались каждый день. По запросу вы можете решить свою проблему. Пляж Бетальбатим очень чистый и красивый, мы первый раз в жизни видели морскую звезду, часто по пляжу проходят зебу. На пляже вблизи отеля несколько шэков, которые предложат вам вкусную еду и напитки по умеренным ценам.
- Rahul2410 (2/5): Misleading / False Advertising - I had a very disappointing experience with Nanu Resort & Spa, Goa due to false and misleading advertising. While booking, it was communicated that 1BR rooms are available “within 800 meters” of Nanu Resort. In reality, these rooms are not part of the Nanu Resort property at all. They are located in a completely different property, around 800 meters away, which was earlier known as Sapna Meadow. This separate property is not listed on Google Maps under the name “Nanu Resort”, which clearly indicates it is not an extension of the main resort. This critical detail is not transparently disclosed during booking. Paying more than ₹8,000 per night for this property is not worth it, as you do not get the actual resort experience—no proper resort ambience, limited access, and none of what one expects when booking a resort stay. Marketing an old, independent property as part of Nanu Resort is misleading and feels like a bait-and-switch tactic. Had this been clearly stated upfront, I would have chosen a different hotel. I strongly recommend future guests verify the exact property name and location before booking. Management seriously needs to improve transparency. Very disappointed.

- whitelilly3 (6/5): Nice but not special - Whilst pleasant enough it is most definitely only ‘average’ in my opinion. The reception area is somewhat lacking in terms of any wow factor. Clean but very very basic. The rooms are fine, just not luxury in any terms. Beds are comfortable but only 1 towel provided per guest. Other towels were supplied when I asked but I had to hide them from the cleaning staff who would promptly remove them the next day and not replace. The grounds are lovely and kept beautifully and the staff are pleasant and helpful. I only ate in the breakfast area once and thought it was awful. It was expensive, very limited choice of poor quality food and if I’m honest, felt dirty. Nobody was cleaning around the food areas which had slopped food on the counters. It just generally felt unloved and as if I was in a school canteen area. There were only 6 sun beds around the pool area which seems very strange. Also the pool bar plays very loud music every evening around 6 pm. It didn’t affect us as we were further away but anyone with a pool view would certainly be able to hear it. The spa area was nice. I had a great head and foot massage from a lovely lady (although much cheaper ones can be found from local spas who collect you from the hotel) The proximity to the beach is fantastic but there is so much rubbish on the walkway to it. It’s such a shame. If someone from the hotel was just to take a bag and collect the rubbish occasionally, it would be so much nicer. Not the hotels land, I understand, but nevertheless, rubbish is everyone’s responsibility really. Overall, whilst this seems a negative review, I did have a nice stay but wanted to give an honest review of my stay. Just a few adaptations could make this hotel in it’s beautiful grounds much more special.

On 2nd Oct from Mumbai. checked in around 8pm it was amazing hazel free. Mr.Punkaj did warm welcom and handed over 2 keys for our delux rooms .Rooms are nice average bigger size all good at Delux room. Our booking was direct through them by Mr. Rahul on phone and mail. had dinner at their Restaurant enjoyed. All staff at Restaurant are helpful with smiling face. Front Desk Mrs. Noopur Dass Guest relationship Officer was very very helpful and soft spoken with smiling face. Also House keeping Supervisor Mrs.Yugandha and Mrs.Emilia have done very good job with smiling face. Made our trip wonderful. Had nice 4 nights stay at Nanu beach resort goa. Will definitely visit again with Group.👍

- maanveer (6/5): Far from the madding crowd - My wife was looking forward to a pleasant welcome considering traditional Goan hospitality and precedence that we have from The Taj, The Marriott, Holiday Inn and even smaller hotels like the Astor… but then she had to encounter the rude Mr Jason at the front office.. she booked an independent room as part of a mindfulness retreat as she doesn’t prefer to share the room ( except with me ofcourse ) and her room which was supposed to be a deluxe room was found wanting of its deluxe-ness by a mile.. based on parameters like a treebo or oyo room, the only thing good was the cleanliness of the toilets and the housekeeping who were more than willing to replenish the in room water supply.. The room service spaghetti was a disaster waiting to find itself in the bowl and the bread sandwich my wife had carried from mumbai was fresher than the bread served with the spaghetti… All in all, it does live upto to its name … it’s quite a Nanu property far from the madding crowd, with nothing, literally nothing in its vicinity and the likes of Mr Jason in front office to add insult to injury

Rooms were quite spacious, clean and the service overall was great. Breakfast was sumptuous and had good choice every day. All in all it was a good experience.
- Ka Hung (8/5): - Overall, I had a pleasant stay. The hotel environment is clean and well-maintained, and the room facilities are in good condition. I stayed in another section of the hotel, which is a bit farther from the main building, so the connection between the two isn’t very convenient. That section only has a swimming pool and no restaurant, so for meals you need to go back to the main building or eat outside, which can be inconvenient. Aside from that, the experience was good overall—great for a relaxing stay. If you value easy access and dining options, I’d recommend booking in the main building.

The entire resort runs like a dream, right from check in to check out. The rooms are spacious and clean, the grounds spotless and the restaurant so well staffed the food and beverage manager deserves special credit. The menu had a huge variety of food so there was no need to leave the resort and breakfast was a highlight. The beach is a stone’s throw away and although we were there during monsoon, it was a pleasant walk along the beach. All staff went above and beyond and are clearly happy in their workplace. Special mention to Abigail and Pranjali who always had a welcoming smile and something positive to bring to our day.

The place feels like a hidden gem – not overly crowded like some other beaches on the island, which made it perfect for relaxing. The view is absolutely stunning, especially during sunset when the sky turns all kinds of orange and pink. There’s a really calm, laid-back vibe to the whole area, and you can tell a lot of thought went into creating a space that blends nature, art, and community. I also loved the small cafés and local touches around the beach – they add a unique charm that sets it apart. Whether you're into chilling by the ocean, soaking in creativity, or just looking for a quiet place to unwind, Nuanu is definitely worth a visit.
