Verified traveler (8/5): Great view and pool - We really enjoyed our time. The only problem was that the beds were not very comfortable and the bedroom gets too warm on a hot day. It would also be nice to have a restaurant or snack bar in the hotel. Because the stores and restaurants in town are not always open. The pool was very nice! And we did have an incredible view.

JULIEN (8/5): - Nous avons séjourné deux nuits en couple à la Résidence des Grandes Alpes. Globalement, l’expérience a été positive, mais quelques éléments nous laissent penser que la résidence ne mérite pas pleinement ses 4 étoiles. Les points positifs : • La localisation est idéale, au cœur de la station, avec un supermarché juste en bas, des restaurants et bars à proximité. • La vue sur les montagnes est splendide. • L’accueil à la réception a été excellent, notamment grâce à une demoiselle toujours souriante, serviable et disponible. • La piscine et le sauna sont agréables et bien entretenus. • Le studio était équipé d’une cuisine fonctionnelle et d’ustensiles permettant de dîner sur place. • Le canapé-lit était plutôt confortable. Quelques points à revoir : • L’appartement, bien que correct, aurait besoin d’un rafraîchissement, en particulier au niveau du mobilier qui commence à dater. • Il est difficile d’évaluer l’ambiance en pleine saison car la résidence était quasiment vide lors de notre passage, ce qui rendait le lieu très calme. • La classification 4 étoiles semble un peu surestimée : selon nous, 3 étoiles seraient plus justes. En résumé, un séjour agréable dans l’ensemble, mais quelques ajustements pourraient vraiment faire la différence.
Louise (10/5): - Lovely, quality apartment. Comfortable sofa bed. The tiled floor was cold, so take slippers! Nice to have a bath and shower with ample hot water. Well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, just needed something to over a fried egg! Stunning views from the balcony. The pool was great with a fantastic view of the mountains. Unfortunately the sauna was broken on our stay. Great location, just a across the road from the town. The Super U supermarket was great. They forgot to give us the code to get in the first night when we arrived late. The staff were otherwise really helpful.

Andrew (10/5): Great accommodation, very spacious - Great base, short walk to town centre and 5 minutes to ski lifts. We had young children and the walk from the lifts back to the accommodation with skis was too much, so worth renting a locker at the ski lifts
Anthony (10/5): Excellent séjour en famille - Emplacement idéal, supérette à 50m, boulangerie, boutiques. Appartement très propre, grand garage, ski room spacieux, magnifique piscine ouverte jusqu'à 22h. Seul bémol, pas de porte à la toilette !! Ni pour les deux cabines pour se changer, c’est dommage. C’est espace a besoin d’une grande rénovation, pas digne d’un 4 étoiles.
Verified traveler (8/5): - The town was very quiet which made this stay one we would have shortened, however a day trip to Annecy made staying here worth it. This property is more like an up-scale dorm room and I’m certain it’s great for a skiing crash pad.

carole (10/5): Super séjour en famille - séjour très agréable. L'hôtel est très bien situé avec tous les commerces à proximité. L'appartement était très propre et tout confort. La piscine est un plus et la salle détente avec les enfants étaient super. Personnel au top!! Très disponible et toujours présents pour nous aiguiller dans les différentes activités et randonnées.

FCJM (6/5): - Alle voorzieningen (zwembad uitgezonderd) waren gesloten. De accomodaties vragen om onderhoud. De luxe uitstalling van de foto’s hebben wij nergens terug gezien. Alles vooral praktisch gericht op (wintersport) verblijf. Omgeving is absoluut mooi en dorpje heeft verschillende fasciliteiten (welke buiten het seizoen vroeg sluiten). Entree via achteraf ingang parkeergarage en kleine receptie. Verwacht simpel, functioneel, schoon, mooie omgeving en afstanden rijden voor uitstapjes dan is dit een prima keuze!

Verified traveler (10/5): - Superbe réservation pour le reveillon de Noël! Personnel bien agréable et arrangeant.Insonorisation parfaite. Les équipements de l'appartement sont en quantité suffisante. Assez de rangement pour les affaires. Le seul petit bémol que nous avons trouvé est le canapé-lit ( pas très confortable). Concernant la piscine, Covid oblige, il faut réserver le créneau mais alors quelle joie ensuite de profiter seuls en famille de cet agréable et magnifique espace ( jolie vue!). L'emplacement de l'appartement est idéal : situé à quelques mètres des pistes et des commerces. Piste de luge pour les enfants à 2 minutes à pied. Petit supermarché au pied de l'immeuble. Bref, une fois garé, rien d'autre à faire que de profiter!

Barry (10/5): A really nice place to stay - One of the best places we have stayed at. We prefer to go self catering and left on our own. This was perfect for that although the times we needed help it was immediately there. Very clean room, as was all of the hotel. 2 minute walk into the centre of the village and a well stocked supermarket outside of the entrance. We had expected to park our motorbike in the garage but were surprised to find that we were allocated a lock up garage inside the larger garage. This meant we could leave all our gear on the bike instead of taking it with us to the room. Swimming pool was perfect and the pool table and football games were another nice touch for us. We will certainly use this hotel again when we next return to the area.
Xavier (10/5): Très bien - Hôtel bénéficiant d'une vue magnifique sur La Clusaz. On peut y laisser sa voiture dans le parking couvert privé, car tous les services sont à proximité immédiate (supérette, station service, restos, remontées mécaniques, etc). Très pratique. La piscine couverte est très agréable, avec vue panoramique sur les montagnes. Et mention spéciale pour le personnel : accueil au top et sourire garanti ! Par contre, les matelas de mon studio étaient bien fatigués : j'avais le choix entre un lit superposé avec un fin matelas en mousse posé directement sur des planches, ou un canapé convertible qui me faisait le coup du hamac. Problème résolu en glissant une planche d'étagère au milieu du sommier. Peut-être que les chambres d'un niveau supérieur étaient mieux fournies. Mais au final, séjour tout de même très agréable.

Robert (10/5): Just perfect - Our 2-day stay at residence Grandes Alpes was just about perfect. We were welcomed by extremely friendly and helpful staff, who called us on the phone before the arrival to make sure we are coming on time and called our apartment after check-in to make sure we found the apartment.The rooms and other facilites (swimming pool) were well equipped and clean, the views were exceptional. All in all, this was a perfect weekend getaway stay for us and we will be back for sure.

Michael (8/5): Fantastic comfortable stay for a family ski break! - Our stay at Les grandest alps was extremely pleasant. The staff were ever so helpful and the apartment was actually much larger than anticipated. The only negatives were the lack of comfortable seats or chairs in the living areas. In addition as we were using the only sofa as a bed there was no lounge seating options at all even though there is ample space to provide such seating arrangements. As a result our party of eight were not able to relax and socialise in our apartment during the evening. We did however utilise the comfortable and extremely well equipped games room/public lounge area. The swimming pool spa area was extremely useful and well enjoyed. The proximity to the ski lifts is quite good although the 5 minute walk back after a long day skiing was slightly tedious for the little ones in our party. We look forward to returning on our next visit to La Clusaz.

Thomas J. (8/5): Make sure that this is really what you want. - First of all, the location and the view is excellent. The only problem I really have is that this is not really a hotel. It seems to be a condo complex that rents rooms. So no services. Not even cleaning. In fact, they have many rules and regulations for cleaning before check-out, so be forewarned. Also, the suite I had only had what I would call children's bunk beds. I gave up thinking those were good when I was about 8.

Fully functional kitchen and a grocery store just around the corner. Lovely scenery by the pool. Set in a lovely little village. The rooms on the first floor overlook the roof of the swimming pool, but you can just about see mountains over the top. The room was clean but certainly wouldn't want to have six in there. It could do with some wardrobe space in the bedroom. Our clothes stayed on the floor for the duration of our trip.
