Guest Reviews
- William (10/5): Great visit to Niagara Falls and Niagara on the lake. - Enjoyed everything! Nothing, exceptional
- Anali (10/5): - Beautiful property. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Breakfast was delicious. Hospitality was great! Would definitely come back.
- Jill (10/5): - Everything. We had a great stay. The location was perfect, easy to walk into town, visit Niagara Falls, wineries etc.
Room was spacious and comfortable. Nice shower and toiletries.
Breakfast was excellent and beautifully presented.
We were also able to use the dining room of an evening to enjoy our own nibbles and wine.
Our hosts Carrie and Pete were delightful. Everything was great.
- Rachel (9/5): Everything you need for a lovely stay in NotL! - Friendly owners, beautiful building, tastefully and comfortably dressed room, lovely breakfast. I liked everything.
- Karen Wei (10/5): Lovely heritage B&B, super clean, excellent breakfast but avoid the top room if you’re older - Very clean, great location. The breakfast was really good and they had options for my husband who is lactose intolerant. Room was comfortable with a comfortable sitting area and TV with lots of streaming options. My fault, but the two floors made it hard at night to use the washroom as it’s very dark. Also the stain glass is beautiful but it lets in light very early.
- Nick (10/5): - The breakfast included with the room was high quality, and featured a nice three courses of breakfast foods.
- Susan (10/5): Perfect spot to take in the shows - will be back - Wonderful stay in a beautiful place about a 5 min stroll to either theatre and a hop skip away from the main street. Just like the pictures. I wish I had taken a pic of our breakfast which was lovely (echoes of afternoon tea) (too busy tucking in). The hostess was very kind and we were able to leave our car when we took in the 2nd show the next day. tbh we prefer a firmer mattress but you can't have everything
- Gerald (10/5): - Beautiful historical, yet cozy space.
- Christina (8/5): -
- PILO (8/5): I recommend ! - Location, services, the breakfast, the calm. The bathroom coukd have been more comfortable.
- Matthew (10/5): Beautiful stay - Beautiful place to stay and so close for walking the main street
- Alfredo (10/5): Soggiorno ottimo! - La proprietaria è stata gentilissima e molto disponibile. Struttura curata in tutti i dettagli, molto pulita e caratteristica. Colazione eccellente. Soggiorno molto piacevole! Nulla
- Stephan (10/5): - School House exceeded all expectations from start to finish — check-in was seamless, and the spacious suite delivered on every front with classic design, a great bathroom, a comfortable king-sized bed, and a cozy fireplace that was perfect for the chilly weather. The location couldn't be better, just a one-minute walk to Queen Street shops, but what truly made the stay magical was owner Carrie, an incredibly warm and welcoming host who pours genuine love and thought into every detail. That spirit extended to the Continental Breakfast, which we almost skipped in favour of dining on Queen Street — thankfully Carrie convinced us to stay, and it was a real treat: beautifully presented in a tower with a yogurt parfait, croissant, fresh fruits, breakfast cake, and an egg and bacon bowl. We're already planning our return trip to Niagara-on-the-Lake in the fall and will absolutely be booking with Carrie and School House again.
- Greg (10/5): A wonderful place that I will definitely visit again. - Carrie was a gracious host. We stayed in the Principal loft which was a gorgeous and very cozy room. It's a perfect Oasis for a romantic weekend getaway. The morning breakfast was wonderful and thoughtful and ours included Coffee/Tea, Apple/Orange Juice, a baked egg with turkey and sweet potato, a banana loaf, a flaky croissant, a fruit cup, and a yogurt parfait. I will definitely be staying at this beautiful B&B again. Nothing. Everything was wonderful.
- Shelby (10/5): -
- John (9/5): Wonderful local and would definitely come again - The location and building were great, along with the breakfast. Hostess was wonderful Could not sleep. People in the Captain suite played their TV loud until almost midnight. Should consider having a quiet time start.
- Sheila (10/5): - The location was perfect. Our room was very spacious and clean. Would definitely stay there again The breakfast was only available from 9 to 10 which was much too late for us. You had to pre-book it as well which we didn't realize in time. But there was a variety of teas and cold drinks available at all times which was much appreciated
- Charles (9/5): - Amazing room, in an amazing historic building, in an amazing location, with amazing service! Full of historic charm. I'd highly recommend, and would stay here again in a heartbeat. The bathroom was a little bit dated, but not a surprise in a small B&B, it's hardly even worth mentioning. It was exceptionally clean, and had everything you could need.
- Porsche (9/5): wonderful - rooms were spacious and lovely with big windows. breakfast was amazing!
- LISA (10/5): This was a wonderful place to relax. - We were met at the door and shown to our room which was very nice. The room was clean and spacious. The fireplace and comfortable bed was beyond expectation.

The breakfast was great and set us up well for the day. Free cookies available at the entrance was a perk! Having a sofa and kettle in the room was great. Our stay was very comfortable and Carrie was a perfect host. We visited the falls and had some great local wines.
