Die Anlage liegt etwas ausserhalb, inmitten eines gepflegten Gartens und die Zimmer sind geschmackvoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Die Gastgeber waren super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir erhielten Tipps für Restaurants und Tanja hat uns eine sensationelle Safari im Schotia Private Reserve zusammengestellt. Nochmals vielen Dank! -

• Jessica (3/5): Not sure bout this one - The pool was ok- but was slightly green and a bit murkey The place was okay, and from the outside things seemed fine. When arriving in the room, there wasnt really anything to welcome us in or explain- no information about local stuff, and the TV remote didnt work. On arrival the owner offered us some beers- initially we thought as a welcome drink, then proceeded to say they would be R25 a can... Be aware this place is in the middle of NOWHERE!! We stayed here to experience Addo- but is still 40min drive on poor roads to the main gate. We were then asked if we would like breakfast- which we agreed to (At this point we were not informed that we would be charged extra for it as there was no mention of it)- they did ask about dietary requirements which I thought was good, and I was told they would organise it for us. What we did think was strange is that we werent asked what we wanted, and upon recieving breakfast- we were quite surprised at the poor quality of the ingredients offered- but this was okay (considering we thought it was included) - I being veggie was brought out a small portion of mushrooms, 3 slices of raw tomato and a couple of tiny bits of bread, while my brother recieved a full english style breakfast. It is important to note that all of these ingredients were clearly the cheapest quality and the juice- I doubt it contained any real fruit, which was HUGELY dissapointing considering that we were in the middle of a citrus valley. The next day we were yet again offered breakfast, and yet again- there was no mention of any extra charges. Upon trying to check out of the place, we were slapped with an almost R600 bill for these breakfasts (which we didnt pay)-We were then told "they had told us" it was R130 a breakfast - which is outrageous- nevermind the lack of quality and difference in the breakfasts we recieved.
• Jeanet (9/5): - Super vriendelijke gastvrouw, keurig groene grasmat, leuk zwembad, bloeiende bloemen. Prima ontbijtje Dat er op zondagavond geen restaurantje open is in Kirkwood, maar de take away pizza was heel goed.

Toutes les chambres (neuves) donnent sur la piscine et le jardin (très bien entretenus) Les chambres sont grandes. Odeur de cigarette dans toute la chambre et sur la literie. Les serviettes de bain et de piscine sont à la demande.

• Sudashin (10/5): Great short get away - One of the nicest places we've stayed at ..my family and I loved it The rooms were super clean ..newly renovated..with aircon,wifi,bar fridge ,microwave .huge shower..with an outdoor shower. Dstv and comfortable beds and clean bedding. Will definitely return when im back in the province.its about 45mins to Addo Elephant park ..but we didn't mind the drive it was scenic, peaceful, and beautiful Special mention to our gracious and friendly host Charmaine..she went out of her way to make our stay so pleasurable...she even upgraded us to the "honeymoon" suite 😁 The pictures you see is exactly what you get. If you ever in the Addo or Kirkwood area ..give this place a try 👌🏽👍🏽 Nothing to complain about

• Daniel (8/5): Mooie schone fijne plek vlakbij Addo om te verblijven. - Kamer was mooi schoon, heel fijn en behulpzaam personeel (konden zelf vragen om een wasje, wat helemaal gestreken en heerlijk ruikend werd teruggeven tegen een kleine vergoeding). Het zwembad was ook heel welkom in de hete zomerdagen. Fijne accommodatie dichtbij Addo. Ontbijt optioneel, Charmaine maakt heerlijke gevulde omeletten. Heerlijk en gezellig ontbijt/lunch/diner plekje Nadorah vlakbij.

• Andreas (9/5): - Wir waren Anfang November 2025 für eine Nacht im Lemon 3 Lodge, das zentral zum Stadtzentrum und ca. 40 Min. vom Addo Main Entrance entfernt liegt. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich. Wir hatten ein sehr großes, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Zimmer mit Bad und Klimaanlage. Der große Pool hat zum Baden eingeladen. Empfehlenswert ist auch das Frühstück, das gegen einen kleinen Aufpreis frisch von Charmaine zubereitet wurde. Insgesamtcsehr zu empfehlen! Einen kleinen Wermutstropfen gab es: das Wasser in der Dusche lief nur mäßig und wurde kaum warm (vgl. frühere Rezension).

Oh it was really a wonderful experience. The pool was crystal clear and the air-con was a life saviour.

• Marise (5/5): Passable - The room was quite spacious and the swimming pool was a winner. The picture needs to be updated, the place doesn't look the same at all. Especially the outdoor side, it definitely needs some attention and some shade.

Probably more for groups or families No toiletries, no mirror, no coffee, no breakfast included (no self catering either), noisy with others around as everything is around the pool, aircon old and no longer makes “cold”, no shaded parking or trees so all out in the open. I only stayed one of my two booked nights. Under new management but so is the rooms (under renovation). Other options in the area are much more value for money… expensive for what you get. Will not return
