- Vargheese (1/5): It was a dump, I can't believe it is close to such a beautiful place in Hong Kong. - We wanted to stay there for a night, that was accomplished. Overall, the hotel was noticeably unclean. The carpets were covered in stains, and even the elevator walls showed visible marks, suggesting a lack of regular upkeep. The condition of the towels was especially concerning—they were extremely worn, which speaks to the overall maintenance standards (I’ve attached a photo for reference). Basic amenities were also lacking; there was no shampoo or conditioner provided. When I asked, the staff mentioned that the soap could be used as an all-in-one alternative, which was disappointing.

- 283judi (2/5): Don’t go near it - Worst stay of my life. Dirty and very rundown. Hair dryer was full of water. Stained walls and carpet and curtains falling apart. Corridors and lift filthy. Toilet had no running water on last day. Nothing like a Travel Lodge in Australia so don’t be fouled like me.

- Hristo (1/5): - Avoid this hotel if you value your rest. I arrived from a long flight to Hong Kong and put up the 'Do Not Disturb' sign to catch up on sleep. Despite this, the staff called my room every hour, speaking only in Chinese. After I disconnected the phone, they started knocking on my door to ask if I 'really' didn't want my room cleaned. They seemed surprised when I pointed out the DND sign, eventually claiming it was for 'security.' Waking someone up every single hour is a form of torture, not hospitality. This is not a real hotel. I do not recommend it.
- Wing Wai Stanley (10/5): Overall, oh okay - Did not wanted breakfast A better room for holding luggage
- William (5/5): Good except for the mattress that we're to hard for me. - Great.
Had all meals at Marco's restaurant.
Him and I are Great mates. Location
- Kevin (7/5): -
- Virginia (6/5): Good location but shabby. - The location was excellent - just a 20 minute walk down to Victoria Harbour.
The bed was very comfortable and I liked the fridge in the room. The room was extremely shabby - the decor was tired and scuffed and the gloomy shoddy paintwork needs to be lightened.
There were no perks in the room - not a bottle of water or extra toiletries - the soap dispenser did not dispense, the towels were thin.
- FRANCOIS (1/5): - I was supposed to pay €488, and I paid €566. They took the deposit from my payment card, and the hotel told me they had to refund me. I gave them my bank card, but I never received the deposit refund. The hotel employee didn't do his job.

- Eleanor (9/5): This hotel is right behind a big Starbucks and steps away fr Kowloon Cricket Club! - Maybe…the beds were a bit hard There is nothing that I did not like. Both Starbucks and botox are within 20 metres!
- John (9/5): Jordan Kowloon - Location was good 1 block away from Nathan Rd. Crossong Nathan Rd was easy with the "subway" or underpass located right before Nathan Rd. Plenty of eateries nearby on both sides of Nathan Rd. Two foodcourts are nearby, within 5 minutes by foot, one north and the other south at the Prudential Hotel. Tsim Sha Tsui can be reached by foot. The bus stop to the Star Ferry is on Nathan Rd 1 block from the hotel.
My room was spacious and comfortable with a mini-fridge and safe. Basic cleaning was done daily. The lack of English speaking personnel. Even some at the front desk had minimal capabilities with English.
- Emma (6/5): My stay was ok. - Due to a mixed dates with my reserved hotel, my reservation was cancelled and arrived into HK without hotel. I have to look for a hotel and found availability in the Travel Lodge. Room need a renovation.
- Loo (7/5): Overall, a comfortable stay. - The shower head designed as a bidet washer & conveniently accessible tap and basket holder. The stainless steel cups for brushing teeth & box tissues. The area by the window for luggages. The flimsy slippers. Nothing else provided.
- osulan (4/5): Does NOT have hot showers - Stayed here from Friday through Monday in late November 2025. Came here via taxi from the bullet train station, which was very close by. The room we stayed was not up to expectation.
We stayed at plenty of 3-star hotels in mainland China and at least they had got water. This place did not. The water was lukewarm at best (nowhere near hot enough).
They only provided one type of soap in the shower. At least the 3-star hotels in mainland China had shampoo and bodywash. We had to ask the front desk for hand towels since only 2 bath towels were provided.
This hotel was pretty sparse to put it mildly. They provide a 10% laundry service for a business next door since they do not provide it themselves. Location isn't bad though. They use UK outlets here.
- chaoYao (1/5): - 第一天入住因樓頂機器運轉噪音整晚無法睡,隔天一早要求更換房間
- THOMAS (7/5): -
- ALAN (6/5): OK for location for my local meeting. - location Facilities to use phone and computer in room poor. Old bathroom linen. Bathroom no toiletries .
- Armando (6/5): - It is a budget hotel, very small shower, bed was very hard, like it had no mattress, felt like i was laying on concrete, it was clean, front desk helpful close to night market
- adeking (5/5): - Localisation
- raymond (6/5): - Bathroom has no toothbrush and paste
- Alejandro (5/5): Bien por la ubicacion pero poco mas - la ubicacion no hay desayuno, el internet no funciono muy bien,
- Queenie (6/5): - It was ok
- Anne Marie (9/5): Fantastic location, clean safe and comfortable room. - The location was amazing, right in the centre of Kowloon, round the corner from Jordan station. No. 22 bus took us straight there from airport. Clean room, nice size bathroom, quiet as we were on top floor 15. Lots of places to eat, drink, shop, etc a 20min walk down Nathan Road to the star ferry, avenue of the stars & Kowloon park, close to Temple street night market. Would 100% recommend The showers in Asia are very hit and miss, tiny heads on wall brackets, very difficult to aim flow of water but lovely and hot.
Beds are a bit too hard for me but hubby loved it! Can’t please everyone 🤷♀️
- Grace tung nien (8/5): -
- Kirill (4/5): - The cleaning lady was great, super nice and welcoming! The facilities were terrible, everything is 20 years old, worn out and just not acceptable. They took a 500 HKD which was returned, but I can’t believe they would even take a deposit for such a worn out room anyway 😂
- Carlos (8/5): - No hand towels were provided. Aluminum cups were dirty, probably usually nobody wash them.
- Janice (8/5): Great location - The hotel was not easy to see because of lack of signage but the A21 bus from the airport drops you right outside. The Jordan MTR is close by as are many Chinese restaurants and there is a McDonalds across the road.
The room and the bed were comfortable and the shower had very good pressure.
There was no bottled water supplied or toiletries.
The staff could have been more welcoming and helpful but overall it was a pleasant stay
- Sergey (10/5): - Nice, clean and easily accessible by all means.
- MinHsiang (6/5): -
- Chi Wai (6/5): - The room has some cockroaches. Air conditioning is not good enough.
- Gayle (10/5): - very helpful friendly staff, good location nothing to report
- Wicak1985 (6/5): normal - location good in the city shower room too small space
- 振宁 (8/5): -
- Chi Wai (8/5): - Good price
- YAO NIEN (1/5): -
- TsungJu (10/5): -
- Yong (6/5): - Hotel is dirty and being cheap not providing toothbrushes toothpaste and no shampoo. Really nothing was provided in the room. Place looks very old and outdated. I understand Hong Kong is expensive but this place is just being cheap for not providing anything in the room.
- Katherine (6/5): Reasonable stay in central city location - Good location. Closed to public transport and walking distance to city locations. Very basic amenities. Everything looked and felt tired.
- William (8/5): Excellent v - Great location, hotel bit dated. Aircon in room 1104 was not cold enough.
Excellent value for area.
- Tohir (7/5): Good - Very basic hotel, room is clean and big near MTR Staff a little bit unfriendly
- ROCKY (8/5): - Maybe too old
- Renee (8/5): - Nice, clean basic room with a safe and smaĺl fridge. Large window shelf provided extra surace space to put luggage. Headboards wear worn and duct tape was used to repair them in both of our rooms.
Very conveniently located. Would stay again.
- Sandy (8/5): - Is in a perfect area for all about
- margaretw818 (6/5): Better than outside appearances - Arriving in a run down street with a small reception area over run by a film crew I was regretting booking this hotel. However things improved when I reached my room - no frills but very adequate. The location is ideal - just off Nathan Road and close to Temple Market.
- Michelle (2/5): Very poor - Location to markets was great Mouldy curtains. Sudden deposit required fir incidentals but there was nothing to purchase in the rooms. Needs a lot of cleaning and friendlier staff. If we had not arrived at 1am would have found somewhere else.
- Ching (1/5): Bad - Unhelpful staff I could not make a choice on the available rooms
- Lim (7/5): Good -
- Tamas (6/5): Pleasant - The location is great! The view from the 14th floor was fantastic! The AC is dirty and noisy.
- Francis (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mark (7/5): Good -
- James (6/5): Pleasant -
- Ching (1/5): Bad -
- Francis (9/5): Superb -
- Anonymous (10/5): Very good location and value for money - Unbeatable location. Value for money. I think for the the past four years, I stayed in the same hotel every time I go to Hong Kong for t least 2 weeks each time. You have subway, buses, airport buses great variety of food within a few min. walk. Helpful and nice front desk staff, even the cleaners. I just don't bother to make other choice when I go to Hong Kong. nothing
- Robert (7/5): Good -
- Lyn (6/5): If you want to stay in Kowloon, this hotel provides a good location. - I feel the only thing going for this accommodation is it's location. It is close to to MTR. I supposedly stayed in a Deluxe twin room. It was very basic. The beds were very narrow and the rooms needed a paint. The walls were not clean. It lists toiletries in the booking. You get one soap dispenser in the shower. They also need to monitor smoking more vigantly as you could smell it in the hallways.
- Maria (8/5): Very good - Location No window
- Fung (6/5): No commend - Nil Location
- Grace Fung (6/5): - It is convenient.
- Grace Fung (6/5): - Convinced
- Shui (8/5): Very good - Location
- Michael (6/5): Pleasant -
- Laxmi (8/5): - Room amenities could be improved
- Maria (7/5): Good hotel for accessibility. - Location was excellent. The room doesn't have windows.
- Frankie (8/5): - Air-cond are not cool at all for all 4 rooms we booked. Otherwise the rooms are comfortable. Short distance to the train station.
- Ng (6/5): Pleasant -
- Leroy (6/5): Pleasant -
- Jose de Jesus (6/5): - The hotel is convinient located are, the cleaness is low, they provie me a room for handicapped, whis is uncontable for shower and bath room no so clean
- Helen (8/5): Will recommend to friends. - Pretty good A bit too small for 2 people.
- Charles (7/5): Good - The location is near the subways/MRT. Also, just a few blocks away is Temple Street, and TS has so many restaurant options. Please don’t limit yourself, go beyond TS, even more restaurants too!
The room is comfortable, it’s adequate. I didn’t rent the room to hangout there, it’s a very good place to sleep, shower, park your luggage and explore HK.
Bonus! Separate from the hotel, a block away, a great place to drop off laundry and pick up the next day. There is a massive construction project across the street, but it didn’t wake me or really bother me.
- Neil (8/5): Very happy with my ten day stay. - Staff courteous, friendly and efficient. Room nice size and comfortable. Location perfect for me. WiFi poor. Dropping out frequently.
- Patrick (8/5): Good budget hotel option in Kowloon - This is a simple hotel, and easy to find. We took the bus from Kowloon Station which dropped us a short walk away, but you could walk it as well in around 25 minutes. The rooms were fine, it's a little dated but honestly provided pretty good value for money close to great eating a shopping areas. This hotel was quiet too, so no issues sleeping in. Checkout at 12pm was also a bonus. Staff were very co-operative, especially when we needed to extend our stay for a night at short notice. All in all, a great little budget hotel option The beds - we had two singles and they were both extremely firm. I like a firm bed, but these were next level. The carpet felt a bit grubby under foot, but they do provide slippers
- Chonthicha (9/5): Superb - Great location with 7-11 located just a few steps from the hotel. Many restaurants, supermarkets, and shops surrounded. The room is big and cleaned by friendly maid. Comfy bed. No self-laundry service but there is a laundry service available a block away from the hotel.
- Eddie (1/5): Extremely poor experience - location is close to Nathan Rd and Jordan Station. Staff attitude. One of the woman staff at the check in was quite rude. Very condescending attitude. It already was a terrible impression at the beginning. It only got worse.
WiFi was in and out a lot of the times. Mould was found in the bathroom. I can see many black spots molds near the basin.
Pillows has black stains. Hooks in the bathroom were not secure in place. The disposable slippers didn't fit because one was extendable, one side wasn't. There are just way too many faults in all aspects of our experience during our stay.
Travelodge is considered quite large and I expected more. It is my first time staying at Travelodge hotels and it will be my last.
If Travelodge can't even get through right staff to even have minimum standards in attitudes, the hotel will never become any better.
Travelodge has lost me and I definitely won't be recommending any family and friends to go to any one of them either. I will tell them to stay away.
- Manuel (8/5): Very good -
- Alison (8/5): Very good -
- Shee-tak (8/5): - Nice location
- Toni (1/5): Bad -
- Wei Soung (8/5): Great location - Great location next to TST MTR and near bus-stops to and from airport. Room for 4 people was spacious.
- Cathy (8/5): Very good -
- Piyachat (5/5): Passable - Location Price is high and no amenities
- Nitesh (10/5): Extremely happy stay - I had the pleasure to stay here for 4 nights and I was extremely satisfied. Convenient location, clean room, helpful staffs and the view was great from the room. MTR was located nearby. Easy from the airport to take either A21 or A22 bus. The staff at the reception was kind enough to call me a taxi when I asked. I would definitely stay at this place when visiting next time.
