- Dawt (5/5): Great location but will not be booking here any longer. Will move to hilton. - Location was nice and clean. We paid for 2 people to sleep in one room with 2 beds. We had our coworkers come over to hangout and the man at the registration office called the room and told us we needed to pay for the other people even after we told him they were just visitors. After that, we all had to leave the room to prevent additional charge. He said he told us visitor rules but never mentioned to us about not being able to have visitors. Very unprofessional and unkind. We had no intentions of lying and sneaking in other people. We paid for the room so we should be able to have visitors.

- Alisha75 (9/5): Cute little place - The price was great! The room was spotless. The bathroom remodel is beautiful. Loved the walk in shower and great water pressure. The room is on the small side, but efficient for a night or two. The pillows were not comfortable. Our door lock wasn't working properly and could be pushed open if the dead bolt wasn't in use.

- Farrell (2/5): - i had a prepaid room for 92.00 i was running later and called to let them know. i had just got a new cell and the gps wasnt working yet so i called the motel for some simple directions off I 65 in Scottsburg i just needed from them how to get to the motel. first the guy who answered the phone didn't listen to my question then i had a hard time understanding what he was saying. then he proceeds to tell i needed to change my attitude or i would a higher paying a higher deposit? i said i already paid for the room how much deposit be he at least 200.00 so i told him i wont be coming. now i would like a refund on that room please because there is no way i should be paying a deposit for that room in Scottsburg IN. please give me some feedback and let me know what can be done in this situation. sincerely, Rick

- Shirley (7/5): Too noisy, would not stay again. - Our room appeared to have just been remodeled, so it was nice. It was clean. The room was extremely small and there was no heat in the bathroom. Since it was cold outside the bathroom floor was like walking on ice. After our showers there was so much condensation the whole bathroom floor was wet and slippery. There needs to be ventilation and heat in the bathroom. Also, the walls are very very very thin. We could hear every single thing the people in the room next to us said. No privacy. Also, their TV was on the wall our headboard was on and very loud so we were not able to sleep until they went to bed which was quite late. There is absolutely no sound proofing.

Felt extremely safe in the area and getting to the room. Not necessarily an ability to walk to close restaurants but many within a very short drive.

(In my room) For starters, at check in, I was greeted with so much attitude and disrespect when THEY made a mistake and checked me in under a different booking, and I wanted the room I had paid for. You can’t use half the “amenities” such as the bathtub (that you pay extra for), they’ll tell you there’s just no way to take a bath and traveling with a toddler this was difficult to work around. Asking for anything or bringing a problem up to them you are met with eye rolls and unprofessional behavior. This place is a joke, dust everywhere and things falling apart in the room, no way to secure the doors on the inside so if you’re traveling with kids, they can absolutely just open the door. NO VISITORS AT ALL, you will be threatened that they will keep your entire deposit if someone else steps foot in the room, my parents dropped me off at check-in and were helping me bring my bags in as I am 7 months pregnant lol, when the owner started lecturing me about charging more money because I can’t have anyone else in the room even after explaining they were just helping with bags and leaving, he was very hostile.

The room was spacious and had everything you would need including mini fridge, microwave, coffeemaker, hairdryer. I was very satisfied and would definitely stay here again. There is nothing that I did not like.

I’ll keep stopping here when heading south to see relatives. - I like this old school motel where you park right by your door — no need to haul our stuff a great distance, and it’s easy to depart early the next morning. The price was right for those on a strict budget. It was a great place to avoid the impending winter storm just to the west and north. Had bananas and yoghurt for a quick breakfast. We needed good coffee which we got at Dunkin Donuts right by I-65. Walmart was relatively close in the next town. I’ve paid a lot more at recognized hotel chains that were not nearly as clean as this place! There’s no door chain or second lock, but hey it’s a small town — not like Chicago! The neighborhood looks very safe anyways.

Anyone over about 5'8" would be unable to sit on the toilet due to their knees hitting the cabinet. Breakfast was modest — packaged breakfast bars and some bananas, yogurt, juice, coffee, cereal. The overall condition makes up for the complaints. Slightly uncomfortable at this price. I have stayed in worse, though.
