- John (8/5): 2 nights in Bengaluru - Hotel was great, location was perfect to get around and see the sights. Great restaurants within walking distance. Front desk staff wasn't always helpful. Asked to have laundry picked up from room to which the gentleman rellplied yes, only to not have it picked up. Which them meant there wasn't enough time to have it done before we left. When questioned, he gave confusing answers and changed information from one day to the next. The restaurant, while the food was very good, the service was less than ideal. Overall the problems were not enough to make me not want to stay at The Springs hotel and spa again.

- Muhammed (8/5): Suitable for short stays. - Comfortable stay with a clean and well-maintained room. The hotel is clean and comfortable, but the surrounding area is dirty, smelly, and lacks nearby public transport. A short walk or ride is needed to reach it.
- Terri (9/5): Fantastic and given the opportunity would happily book to stay again. - This hotel is in the heart of hard working community that assaults all of your senses at once but at the same time opens your eyes to every aspect of Indian life. All of the staff were fantastic nothing was too much trouble and went out of their way to help you, even the Managing Director made sure we had everything we needed. The food was great from the breakfasts, lunches and the bar snacks and restaurant food served in the rooftop bar, in fact the rooftop bar was a great place after a busy day to wind down with a drink and watch the IPL. The mosquitos but that is part of life.

More like the winter of our discontent 😢 womp womp womp - Vanilla pancakes, plants on the balcony, cleanliness of rooms and common spaces, some staff who made an effort It overall seems like the place is run in a half-hearted manner and solutions get slapped together for optics' sake at the last minute and only if someone complains. Who knows, guys, maybe it's a fake hotel, like the fake hospital in Munna Bhai MBBS? I asked the staff but they were too young to know that movie 😂 Every moment was a new adventure! The spa was out of service for the "next few months", which was not mentioned anywhere online or until after check in! The pool area was minimally maintained and there were pigeon feathers and fecal matter in the outdoor shower area! Simple things like getting the ever-changing different wifi passwords for different floors, a new garbage bag for the dustbin or figuring out if/when you pay for breakfast turn into a needlessly complicated affair! But on a more serious note, what really overwhelmed me was when a male guest behaved in a very intimidating way and physically stepped towards me after I made a simple request of keeping voices down in the hallway at 4am. The security who witnessed everything basically giggled and did nothing. Front desk said they were sorry and that security doesn't speak much English, which has nothing to do with people talking at 4am in a way that wakes up another guest. So that was "fun"! All I was looking for was the acknowledgement that the guest's behaviour was wrong and for them to be asked not to do that again, which unfortunately does not get taken seriously if asked by a woman.

This was a pleasant surprise. The room and wash room were very clean. In room dining is available. The continental grilled fish I ordered in my room was excellent. The rooftop restaurant offers a pleasant change in ambience with a touch of the outdoors and is perfect for a quiet, romantic evening with a refreshing drink (cocktail or mocktail) far from the city crowds. If one wishes to visit the legendary Mavalli Tiffin Room (MTR) to sample traditional South Indian snacks and food that Bengaluru is famous for and to spend time in sprawling gardens like the Lal Bagh, I would recommend this hotel. It is close to the regional passport office, MTR & Lal Bagh Botanical Gardens. I visited each of these for business and pleasure. If one loves nature and South Indian food, this hotel is walking distance from two legendary Bengaluru landmarks - Lal Bagh and Mavalli Tiffin Room (MTR). Overall, Springs Hotels and Spa is worth a visit.

- Brent (8/5): A pleasant stay at a reasonable price - Clean, safe and comfortable and the small pool was good for a dip. Enjoyed the rooftop bar too. Wifi on 2nd floor was basically unusable. Not a temporary problem either as I was there three days. The location isn’t prime but it’s okay.

Breakfast: can be improved Wifi: not fast at all. Its a crawling wifi. Sad. Plus, I have to relog-in again and again because it keeps getting disconnected. Fortunately, I have phone data. I needed internet because I will take an exam. Sadly the internet speed did not deliver. Lobby: No AC. Feels warm inside. Room: my room reeks of smoke even if it was supposed be a nonsmoking room. (I'm a NONsmoker so I can definitely detect it. Plus I've been to many hotels before so I know if it was contaminated) they offered to spray an air freshener to mask the scent. Aircondition: Needs BIG improvement, it's not cold at all! Supplies: slippers not provided on the spot. So I have to especially call for this.

The food was affordable and food servers were very nice and polite I arrived early morning of 24 and the front desk manager was not as accomodating and displayed displeasure that I was checking in at that time. Despite my request that I pay additional amount so I can check in he was at first hesitant to do so but later on after almost 2 hours he decided to give me a room. He didnt like to open the light in the lobby and not at the same time it was not well ventilated. I asked if they had airconditioning or a fan at least but he proceeded on answering me, "why do you need fan?" I found his demeanour unpleasant knowing guests should be treated in a hospitable manner.
