Riaz (8/5): One night surprise stay - everything was okay and better than expected. The pics and profile does not do justice. there was some confusion on the tax as when we checked in the person at the checkin counter checked everything including all passports and levied the tourist tax appropriately. When we were checking out they said it was a mistake and charges us for one person extra which didnt make sense. we were in a rush to didnt argue and paid it anyway.

Ruben (6/5): Underwhelming experience with less than stellar service - The room was spacious and the beds were clean and reasonably comfortable. The view was nice from the higher floors. Temperature was comfortable. Welcoming staff was very friendly and helpful. Dated hotel with strange room layout (shower window to the bedroom?). Bad experience calling for room service after an exhausting trip with small children: first room service is unavailable and the frontdesk can't pass an order, but they will call back. After 10 minutes of radio silence and another call to the frontdesk they take it upon themselves to finally pass our order - not what we expect from Sheraton. Also not the best area to go for a walk, but public transport is excellent.

HiggerTor (10/5): One of my all time favourite hotel stays - TLDR / Too Long Didn’t Read: An excellent hotel, with good transport links nearby. One of my favourite hotels now. A little bit out of town but well connected by tram. It’s around 10-15mins to Zurich HB and 30 mins to the airport with either a short walk to the train station, or a tram and a change in Zurich HB. - The Good; Staff efficient and friendly at check-in and did an absolutely incredible job to make this a stay to remember with personalised touches for a special celebration - I also met the staff at check-out who arranged these things for me and they were super kind and you could see that they were genuinely thrilled that I was so happy with what they had arranged. From the front desk to the lounge, everyone was absolutely superb in this hotel - an absolute credit to Marriott. As a Titanium status member I had access to the lounge too, which was large, had full hot meals in the evening (from a buffet and a soup) in the evening, alongside a plethora of snacks and cakes alongside an open bar with Prosecco, red and white wine and local beer until 10. The staff were excellent and kept things replenished and fresh. I was upgraded to a junior suite on the corner of the hotel floor, which meant we had dual aspect windows - and massive windows to boot. The window sills were huge, and they had cushions that allow you to sit in the windows. This was amazing - I could have sat there all day just watching the cars, trains and the clouds slide by. The room itself was large, with comfortable beds and pillows, and a very large bathroom. Breakfast was plentiful, they also had hot vegan options which are rare for breakfasts. And I think home made style baked beans, which were different but really nice.  - The Not So Good: Literally nothing bad about the room. It was lovely but some quirks let’s say if you want a shower in the evening - more on that in the paragraph below. If I were being brutally nitpicky, only one side of the bed has plug sockets - which was just mildly frustrating. - The Weird: The bath and shower are adjacent to each other, sharing the same wet room as each other. But there is an incredibly large window overlooking the 25 hours hotel. Now you can activate a blind, but it’s just a fine gauze - added in with the steam it sorta makes it private. But not as much as you’d like. It wouldn’t be a problem showering in the morning however. But in the evening, I imagine in the shower it would be quite a show outside (!) Now what I’ll say is we were on a high floor which dulled the issue somewhat, but you are still overlooking the rival hotel opposite. - The Practicals - Middling phone signal. 1 bar salt, 1 bars sunrise. There is WiFi available but it was confusing which to connect to. The windows open but are terrifying as they open fully with the looks of things. I didn’t dare open them. Amazing though for Lüften I guess. Amenities were by Gilchrist and Soames from their ‘Warm Oak’ range which smelled lovely. A plentiful selection of other bathroom amenities were present, including nail files, dental kits, shaving stuff as you would expect, along with a nespresso machine, and kettle with a selection of teas and coffee pods was present, along with a couple of glass bottles of water. Basically everything you can imagine you’d want in a hotel room was here, including robes and slippers in 2 sizes. In Summary: This is an *excellent* hotel. Probably one of my favourite stays in a Marriott property, absolutely in part because of the staff, but also the incredibly high quality of the room and the lounge. I will 100% be back in this hotel in the future, no question about it.

Lydia (6/5): 5/10 - La seule chose positive est la proximité du tramway, situé à une minute de l’hôtel, permettant de rejoindre facilement le centre-ville. Séjour très décevant. À mon arrivée le 24, aucune réceptionniste ne parlait français ni espagnol, sans aucun effort pour communiquer. Situation jamais vue pour moi après de nombreux voyages. Le lit pour mon enfant n’était pas installé dans la chambre malgré plusieurs demandes avant l’arrivée (plus de trois fois). J’ai dû redescendre à la réception pour le réclamer. Petit-déjeuner très basique : machine à café souvent en panne, personnel peu réactif, et salade de fruits acide et avariée à deux reprises. Le ménage n’est pas fait quotidiennement : arrivé le 24, nettoyage le 27 puis le 30 seulement, ce qui est inacceptable. Enfin, Booking m’avait confirmé que le lit de mon enfant était gratuit, mais l’hôtel me l’a facturé malgré l’envoi de toutes les preuves.
A6852FBroberte (6/5): Great Hotel, Bad Location, Outrageous Food Prices - This Sheraton had excellent service and staff. It is brand new and spotlessly clean. We were part of a very large tour group who booked this hotel for us. However, it is located in an industrial area far from the historic parts of Zurich. Our view out the window was a large factory/warehouse complex across the street. The food prices in the restaurant were outrageous! We tried the one other hotel nearby with a limited menu as an alternative. There were no other food alternatives in the area, especially on the weekends. This hotel would be ok for business travel but NOT for tourists or leisure travel.

Évitez le Sheratin - Nous n avons pas apprécié cet hôtel la situation géographique ne correspondait pas au descriptif, le personnel peu sympathique, l hôtel très proche de la gare etait bruyant la nuit par le passage des trains et le quartier dans lequel se trouve l hôtel n a rien d agréable L hôtel et sa situation. Rien ne correspond au descriptif fait par vous sur votre site

Guest (4/5): Great Hotel to look at, in a great location seriously let down by some bad errors of service. - Our room was spacious & clean, although as a Viking group were staying at the same time our room was not serviced on the 2nd day. When I went to reception to ask why I was told by the receptionist that I would need to request the cleaning of my room every day. That being said when booking in to stay I was asked if I would like 750 bonus points & then only get the serviced every 3rd day. I declined the offer & said I would like to room to be serviced every day. The hotel is very close to the Tram line & that made it easy to get into the city. As previously stated, I think maybe the staff should be more aware of people who are with the Viking group & those that are not. Breakfast was extremely hectic & although the staff were doing their best with the amount of people we felt as though we were being treated like a herd of cows a herd that we were not part of. In out no pleasantries. We also had access to the Club Lounge. I am sorry but this is what let the Sheraton down majorly. The food on the first & last night of our stay was edible. Not fantastic but okay. On the remaining 3 nights it was terrible. For a large hotel chain with a Chef I just couldn't imagine someone could cook that food & think that it tasted nice. We had a tour on our 4th day & when we returned at 7pm there was not much left & what was left was cold. On our last night the 9th December it was my birthday. We went to the Club Lounge & when we got there, there was 1 & 1/2 bottles of champagne in the ice bucket. We had a couple of glasses each & when we asked the waiter to open another bottle he said that there was no champagne left in the hotel. I told him it was my birthday & he did say he was sorry but they had run out. Also on that night & a few previous there were no champagne flutes. One night I asked for 2 empty glasses & was told they only had 2 & I would not be getting anymore that night. The cakes on most night were what was left over from breakfast. I am sorry I paid more for the Club Access Lounge & was hugely disappointed.

Enjoy no acknowledgement of your Marriott status whatsoever and deal with teenage front desk crew who are as indifferent as management. Wishy washy room hygiene and terrible maintenance. Mold spots, flakey walls, dirt, hairs… no attention to detail in this overpriced property

mwilson925 (10/5): Sheraton Zurich is a great choice for couples or families visiting Zurich. - The staff at the hotel is great. They recognized my platinum status right away and upgraded me to a club room. They have a lounge that has coffee choices, tea, hot chocolate, cold beverages and candy that are available all day. The room I stayed in was exceptionally spacious for a hotel in Europe. It has a coffee station, large closet, desk, several chairs and a king size bed. In the room there are also usb and usb type c outlets. The bathroom has a bathtub and a shower as well as a spacious vanity. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The breakfast buffet has a wide variety of selections available as well. The location is very conveniently located next to the tram station making it very convenient to ride into Zurich HB (which is where you can go to take a different tram to the airport). I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Zurich and would stay there again.
