- Jonathan (10/5): - Amazing hotel for a ski resort. Room was beautifully fitted out with a stunning view of the resort and valley. It is right at the top of the resort, but only 10 mins walk to the main group of bars, and there is a ski in and out option. Plus free transfer available around the resort. Breakfast options were huge to start the day. The bar was cosy and the terrace had a lovely view and sunshine. Spa was impressive but often busy. Only issues were that the room was often hot and no obvious way to cool it down other than opening a window/door. The boot room didn’t have locks on the doors or anywhere to store skis (which I assume is because everyone rents from their ski shop but that was expensive), and even with the transfers it is removed from the centre of the resort, so you will spend a lot of time walking up and down hill - but that was our choice. Definitely would go again.
- Tat Ming (10/5): A comfortable, friendly, luxuary ski in/out hotel - Very good 5 stars ski resort hotel with ski in ski out access. It has three restaurants. The staff in reception, restaurants and ski room are very friendly, particularly James, Nathan and Laurence in ski room and are really helpful. The room is spacious enough for two people. The breakfast is good and beside the buffet, I have eggs choic and coffee. It is a great start before heading to the slope.

Desorganisation complete de l equipe de restauration, il manque un manager experimente. Dommage, bel endroit, bel etablissement, SPA parfait comme les services du voiturier et du skiroom. Enfin…le chauffage est au maximum dans les chambres, impossible de le reduire ou stopper, il faut ouvrir les p.fenetres toute la nuit. Incroyable mais vrai. Horrible

Leah was such a professional host and I felt great after her massage. I will be returning to this hotel for sure. 5* hotel and gave a 5* service. One area that could be better was the menu in the main restaurant. I suggest offering some classic dishes for dinner. Also a good idea to have salt and pepper on the tables instead of having to keep asking for them. This wouldn't stop me returning. Beautiful hotel and staff.

Reception staff were incredibly helpful before and during our stay - sorting out everything from ski lessons, passes, restaurant reservations etc. Good quality ski equipment from an on-site ski shop with super helpful staff working there.

Staff not helpful and spa is extremely poor. No staff no towels, not open on time. Asked front desk for help many occasions and got nothing. Live music once in a blue moon so don’t be deceived. Bar staff efficient. Outside balcony and no atmosphere or music. All staff do all jobs not really sure who’s incharge here. Ski in ski out very narrow in and out. Wouldn’t stay here again.

The room was a great size and fabulous views with afternoon balcony sun. The pool and sauna are a bit tired. And so were a few other common parts and the breakfast was more 4 star than 5s. But overall very good. And thanks to the General Manager who was always very welcoming

The only feedback I have is that the Jacuzzi in the amazing SPA is not hot enough, sometimes it felt almost cold. but other then that it was AMAZING

Nous reviendrons passer un séjour un peu plus long - Le spa est grandiose et intimiste- Les praticiennes sont d’un grand professionnalisme - Tout est organisé pour se détendre- iIl faut noter également la qualité du matériel de ski à la location et l’expertise de ceux qui nous conseillent sur le choix du matériel au ski room . Les skis sont neufs et les chaussures des pantoufles !!

Amazing staff who go out of their way to help and assist to make your stay more memorable. 5 Mins walk from the center of Village which is nice, hotel have a free shuttle that would drop you off and pick you up if require.

Without exception every employee that we dealt with went out of their way to be helpful and courteous. It seemed that nothing was too much or too difficult if it meant the guests enjoyment of the hotel was increased. In addition extra touches such as laying out your skis out in the snow ready to jump straight on, or serving your dinner in the lounge so as not to miss the world cup game were greatly appreciated. Excellent facilities and gourmet dining complete the package. Well done guys. We were impressed!
- Matthew (8/5): Val Thorens 2022 - Overall the hotel was excellent, friendly staff, good food and great facilities. The ski-in-out experience was superb but not suitable for learners. The children’s playroom was a little cold and soulless and could do with an update. The carpets in the rooms could use a really good hoover. The chef was more than happy to provide infant meals and portions, very welcome. I would rate the overall experience as 8.5/10

The young man who checked us in/out was helpful and very friendly. However, one of the young ladies at the front desk was not so friendly and even a bit off putting. Le Hic ce fut le SPA avec un jacuzzi sous-dimensionné pour la capacité de l'hôtel et surtout le hammam en panne durant tout mon séjour (critère de sélection majeur quand je choisis un hôtel pour les sports d'hiver), bref pas payé le juste prix.

The hotel is amazing, the facilities flawless, the position on the resort perfect and the staff irreproachable. We loved every minute of it, would definitely go back!

- Andrey (8/5): Modern Ski in/out Hotel - Second time in Kohinor brought more controversy . Impressive posh interior of the fireplace/bar/lounge area discords with some visible decoration lapses in elevators, walls and spa area. Michelin guide home restaurant represents a very limited and neverchanging assortment of main courses/sets , 2nd "international" restaurant is only available for halfboarders. Breakfast zone is tiny both in size and food choice . Flavored with notoriously slow and sometimes arrogant waiters my overall perception of food facilities turned mostly negative. After 2 days of inhouse dining we always preferred to look more reliable and pleasant spots outside. Spa and pool were OK, though they are rather small (just 2 basic saunas) and a modest pool. However location is great, rooms were nice and cozy , with excellent views; ski shop and ski room absolutely fantastic + always friendly and professional stuff. Eventually if you are looking for convinient skiing and accomodation in Val Torens - Kohinor is ok. But in order to get a 5-star service , dining and spa relaxation - better find a different place or go somewhat lower to Couchevel.

- DANIEL (10/5): WOW! - WOW!! If there is a better ski hotel, then I am yet to find it! After reading some reviews I was slightly concerned - these soon vanished. I can safely say it is the best service I have ever had, hotel is beautiful with great rooms. I have stayed in a lot of places that claim to be 5* but this has set a new benchmark for me. I could not recommend any higher!
- Verified traveler (8/5): Great high location with terrific view. - Great beautiful brand-new hotel. Staff was very kind and helpful but not very experienced. The room was comfortable, well-designed with nice view, only thing we missed is a little coffee/tea kit in the room. Spa is extraordinary. I will return to this hotel.
- David (6/5): Great location with good access to the slopes - The hotel was very clean, although I do not entirely agree with its 5 star rating. The staff are very welcoming (especially the manager) however they did not mention the additional cost of changing the ski equipment (upgrading ski's to advanced). The breakfast was enjoyable, although get there early as the service is very disappointing from 0900-1000 (had to lay our own table) and the scrambled eggs seemed to be out of a packet. The rooms were clean and tidy although lacked in simple finishing touches like a shower head holder and kettle.
