So as long as you don't mind not being right by the river it is great. We chose this property after a less satisfactory experience elsewhere. Breakfast was good for the inclusive price.

• Wood (8/5): Excellent stay, would recommend. - The breakfast was brilliant. The best laksa we have had in Borneo. Rooftop bar has great views and location is good for everything you need. Bathroom wet floor, but that is common in Malaysia.

• Aleksandr (8/5): Nice hotel - The hotel is located within the historical core of Kuching, walkable distance from all the main attractions. There are lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was good enough with basic protein options, e.g. scrambled eggs, beans etc. I'm a sensitive sleeper and the rooms with windows overlooking the city turned out to be a bad option. I had to downgrade to a windowless room in the center of the building to get a good night's sleep. Bring your earplugs if you are sensitive to city noises at night. The motorcycles are particularly loud.

• Mary (10/5): Lovely stay for four nights at the Lime Tree - It was a bright clean space with super friendly staff and a concern for eco friendliness which is rare in the area. It was great! The breakfast was wonderful with fruit and different options each day.

Die Lage war zwar nicht zentral, aber in wenigen Gehminuten gab es zahlreiche Essensgelegenheiten und auch die Waterfront konnte nach einem kurzen Spaziergang erreicht werden. Auf der tollen Dachterrasse haben wir einige Abende ausklingen lassen. Uns hat es hier sehr gefallen. Die Schalldämmung der Fenster könnte verbessert werden. Wir haben mit Oropax schlafen können.

• CronicTown (10/5): 4 day Borneo excursion - Great little boutique hotel with a really helpful and informed staff and great location. Everything was clean. The breakfasts were varied during my 4 day stay and it had a nice mix of western and asian selections. The rooftop bar was great with chill music and great service and drinks. I will definitely stay there again. Great bang for the buck. No complaints at all.

Even after so many years the level of service here has remained high. I love the rooftop bar especially in the evenings. I also like the fact that it’s an eco-friendly hotel. Already looking forward to my next visit to this cozy hotel!
• Helen (7/5): Clean and comfortable hotel near the waterfront, but t don’t forget your ear plugs!!! - The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff were great and helped us check in when our flight got delayed, and we arrived in the early hours of the morning. The breakfast had a good selection, and was refilled regularly. The noise from the main road was a nightmare. We hardly got any sleep during our 2 night stay. Generally, the hotel is quite noisy, and you can hear other guests walking/talking. It would have been better if they provided ear plugs.

• LeChatOrange85 (10/5): Enjoyable stay! - Fantastic location near Chinatown Padungan surrounded by lots of local food, with a supermarket just minutes away. Stayed 3 nights in an Executive Suite with an extra mattress request - it was a spacious room, very clean and well appointed with a large work desk and nice sofa. Bath had a deep tub that my young son thoroughly enjoyed after a long day of sightseeing. A leaky flush was fixed immediately by staff. Glad to see it was an eco friendly hotel with visible recycling efforts. Delicious breakfast with a mix of asian and continental… their Sarawak Laksa is a must-try! Basement parking was available and would be quite useful if I had rented a car - we used Grab to most places including to the waterfront at very cheap rates. If you like smaller, boutique-style hotels with great service, this hotel is highly recommended!

• Tim (8/5): Gutes Hotel - Nach der ersten Nacht durften wir ein Glück das Zimmer auf die ruhige Seite des Hotel wechseln. Aber da an war es ein schöner Aufenthalt Für uns. Gutes Bett, Klimaanlage funktionierte, mitarbeitende waren nett, Frühstück war klein aber ausreichend und das beste wir bekamen eine kleine Frühstücksbox, weil wir das Frühstück nicht wahrnehmen konnten. Zu Fuß ist alles einfach erreichbar. Hier und da würden Instandhaltungen und Austauschen von Dingen dem Hotel gut tun.

Terrasse sur le toit pour profiter un peu de l'extérieur même si la vue n'est pas topissime. Proche du quartier chinois avec les restaurants, un bureau de change, un magasin d'alimentation et même d'une laverie automatique. Il faut marcher un peu pour aller à la rivière (spectacle jet d'eau et lumière gratuit le soir). Les fenêtres de la chambre mériteraient d'être nettoyées car sales et d'être changées car très mauvaise insonorisation (on entend le bruit du boulevard). Un conseil: ne venez pas à Kuching en février si vous espérez voir les orang outang au parc car ils ne se montrent pas ; ce n'est pas la bonne période...
• Bibleyne (8/5): Overall it’s good. - Strategic place. During my stay, there was a car auto-show nearby held on 7 Feb 2026. They were ramping the car inconsiderately till late night. Hard for me to sleep as my room is near to roadside. Perhaps in future if there’s big event happening, the staff may inform us in advance or may assist to help to call the police for disturbance.

La ubicación es tranquila y relativamente buena. Por el mismo precio se consiguen hoteles más cerca de la zona céntrica pero de peor calidad. Kuching es fácilmente transitable y la distancia al centro es caminable.

• kevin (9/5): - Very nice hotel in a good location to enjoy kuching. Staff were really helpful, breakfast excellent and there are several comfy sofas in reception to enjoy. The room was clean and big enough and they can provide small fridges on request. We would have used the bar and restaurant more than we did if the prices were in line with local bars and restaurants, otherwise no complaints at all.

We loved everything, from the service to the facilities provided. Extra point for the lovely citrus scent every time we going back to the hotel from our tiring travel. Definitely gonna miss that smell! The TV is a bit old with limited channels however does not affect our stay as we do not watch much TV anyways.

• ardenous (7/5): - Location is close to major attractions and waterfront boardwalk, with many restaurants and stores around. The breakfast may not be various, but the menu changes everyday. The taste is good to have local and Western foods. The staff are helpful with laundry service and guests' questions. The room does not have a fridge, so I had to ask the staff to bring a mobile icebox into my room. The pillow and sheet do not look clean, with some strange smells and hairs from previous guests. The room size is a bit narrow for two guests.

• KINE HONG (10/5): - The hotel staff are very helpful and friendly, and even the hotel founder was there to manage the hotel operation to ensure quality. The hotel is located in the food heaven area, just behind the hotel, there are many famous Kuching foods. It is convenient and easy to access. I definately will come back and stay in the same hotel again. I could not find any foot massage center around the hotel, because I love food massage.

Ottima la colazione, non molto varia ma con prodotti di qualità e alcune proposte locali come la crema spalmabile pandan, veramente ottima! Anche la zona colazione molto carina e tranquilla. Abbiamo apprezzato la tranquillità dell'hotel e il fatto che non fosse eccessivamente grande e standardizzato come altri hotel in Malesia. Camera piccola ed essenziale ma bene fornita, forse eccessivamente piccola ma a noi é andata bene. Ottimo il bagnoschiuma per la doccia e la saponetta per le mani. Ottima posizione, nella nuova china town piena di ristorantini carini, comoda per raggiungere il centro con una piacevole camminata di 10 minuti. Niente in particolare, si consiglia di rinnovare gli asciugamani.

Die Lage ist sehr zentral und man kann so gut wie alle Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuss erreichen! Ebenso gibt es genügend Restaurants in der Nähe.

On evening we returned to hotel hopping to have a drink on the roof top patio bar and it was closed before the posted closing time.

Liked the filtered water refill stations and easy access in the city. Staff are friendly and helpful. Food though skewed to local, had passable western options. Size of room, noisiness: we were on 4th floor facing the street and the 5th floor party bar and street sounds easily heard in our room. Thankfully things quieten down after 10+pm. Noise insulation is weak.
