Guest Reviews
- O2726ZXcindyp (8/5): Very good stay! - The room was clean and comfortable. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the morning was good. It was a nice stay!
- karendM5782XT (10/5): A great find! - We stayed 2 nights while attending a family wedding. Other family and friends were here too. Everybody was woo satisfied. Clean, convenient and very comfortable. Hartington is lucky to have this nice establishment.
- J6299DAkevins (6/5): Average stay. - It was ok for a smalltown hotel.
I reserved a king room and was put into a 2 queen room. I was charged the king rate. It's only $5 but still not really happy about it. I had requested an early check in and agreed to pay $25 for the privelge.
All in all a quiet stay and the property was decently maintained. But a very average stay.
- Wanderer10819575663 (10/5): Hartington, NE - Nice, clean facility. Wouldn't have minded a little more variety for breakfast. Scrambled eggs and sausage both days.
- tinamE3019SZ (10/5): Comfortable Rooms, Friendly Staff, and a Solid Breakfast - My stay at Cobblestone Inn & Suites - Hartington was a really pleasant experience overall. The location is convenient and within walking distance to the Casey’s gas station, which made it easy to grab food, drinks, or essentials without getting back in the car. The hotel has a comfortable, low-key atmosphere that feels welcoming and relaxed. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable, with reliable Wi-Fi and a well-stocked bathroom that included shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. It felt like a good value for the area, especially given how consistently clean and peaceful the property was.
Breakfast was a nice bonus with a solid variety, including eggs, sausage, a make-your-own waffle station, bagels, English muffins, fruit, and yogurt. Service was another highlight—the staff were friendly, helpful, and easy to interact with. Amenities like the fitness center, guest laundry, bar/lounge area, and complimentary breakfast added to the overall convenience. All around, it’s a clean, comfortable, and dependable place to stay, and I would happily stay here again.

• Amenities: Good quality amenities, smooth check-in/check-out process by Kay I love her nature very friendly.
• Location: Perfect location — peaceful, safe, and close to essentials.
• Breakfast: Fresh, tasty, and a good variety of options to start the day right.
• there are plenty of hot & healthy breakfast options (like scrambled eggs 🍳 , Boiled egg 🥚, Coffee ☕️ & Tea 🫖, Hot chocolate, Wheat Bread and White bread 🍞, cold milk with cereals, Oat meal, Yogurt, Apple Sauce, 100 % Fresh Juice, Sausage gravy and biscuits, Danish, muffin, waffles 🧇 with syrup, begal 🥯 with Cream cheese, and fresh fruits 🍉 ).
The bar at Cobblestone Inn & Suites was wonderful — great atmosphere, well-made drinks, and very friendly service. It truly added to the comfort of my stay.”
A perfect stay — clean, comfortable, quiet, and excellent service. Highly recommended for both business and leisure travelers. I’ll definitely choose Cobblestone Inn & Suites – Hartington again on my next visit!
Thank you

- Explorer19586515297 (8/5): Great place to stay. - We were visiting cousin nearby and having a small cousins reunion. The hotel was close by and worked great. It was clean, nicely laid out, and dog friendly. We had our little dog with us and the big lawn and space was perfect. Rooms were clean and nice. The breakfast was a little disappointing, as hotel breakfasts tend to be. I think it is time the hotel industry comes up with something slightly new and different, although I don't know what that would be. Staff was very friendly and it was a great stay.
- Ruth (10/5): - Nice clean room! Staff very friendly! Kay was so helpful to us! Breakfast very good!
- I9905CYangelop (10/5): Our experience was good. Clean motel. The breakfast food could have been better. - I forgot two items & Kay went above & beyond to locate them. She was willing to take them to the Post Office to mail them to me. She was very sweet & obviously wanted to please me.
- maryannlB1739QA (10/5): Cobblestone Inn Review - Allowed to check in early. Kay at the front desk was personable and very helpful. Room was clean and had coffee, microwave and refrigerator, which are very much appreciated. Breakfast was very good as well.
- Nomad730816 (8/5): Stay here again! - The owners and staff were especially kind and helpful. Their honor system store was great in a town with few restaurants. The reason I didn’t give it a five: The breakfasts were not very good .They could get sweet rolls or donuts from the gas station next store.
The laundry was clean and cheap. Overall I think 4.6 is a better score.
- Greg (10/5): - New, clean and quiet. Complimentary breakfast and a full bar!
- Sightseer13531876288 (10/5): New owners. Very clean, pleasant, great breakfast and service. We will be back. - The new owners have made great improvements and are a delight to work with. Kay is wonderful and does a great job. Kay worked with us to accommodate our needs and did a fantastic job. Rooms are very clean; staff is pleasant and a joy to talk with. Breakfast is good. There is a bar with drinks available and a small concession area where you can purchase chips to frozen meals and in between. It is in a small town but easy drive to Norfolk and Yankton. You can also go to Sioux City for a day trip or up to Sioux Falls from Hartington. We will be back and stay again with Kay and her husband here at Cobblestone Inn and Suites.
- Lisa (8/5): - Nice property. Your standard hotel room. Breakfast could have been better.
- Susan (10/5): - Great place
- Tammi (10/5): - Clean, quiet, comfortable--just what I needed.
- Tim (9/5): Nice place with friendly staff. - Breakfast was good. The room was a little humid.
- 487gingerl (8/5): Overall, very pleasant. - The only concern we had is an automobile was parked in front of the entrance making loading our car a bit more difficult than it should have been. We mentioned this to the front desk and were told the car belonged to the motel's owner.
- Wanderer10819575663 (8/5): Yearly visit to a special town - Very clean and comfortable. We were a little disappointed in the breakfast selections and the quantity offered. We have stayed here before and the breakfast was much better.
- Dianne (8/5): -
- Jackie (8/5): - Staff very friendly
- Craig (6/5): - The rooms were clean, great staff.
Disappointed with the bed and pillows were worn and lumpy.
For the price of my room I expected at least one good pillow.
- Jim (10/5): - Clean comfortable room
- Tamara (10/5): - Clean, nicely appointed, friendly and helpful staff.
- Stephen (8/5): - It was not explained to us when we checked in that maid service was not an everyday service. We returned to our room the day after we checked in and used towels were not replaced with clean ones, bed was not made, and coffee supplies were not replenished. We paid $495.00 for three days stay so feel maid service should be a given.
- carriegaul (10/5): They do breakfast right!! - The staff was very helpful and patient with our complicated reservation and check-in. The room was quiet, and the excellent breakfast included gluten-free and sugar-free options! A much better experience than a recent weekend in Yankton at a brand-name for twice the money.
- burnsomaha (10/5): Quality Hotel in Small Community - I was in Northeast Nebraska for a couple of days (Easter on Sunday, funeral on Tuesday. In between, I had to conduct a training session for a client using Zoom and needed reliable, hi-speed internet. I called to ensure they could accommodate my request. When I arrived, they had put me in the closest room to their router to ensure my training session would go off without a hitch - and it was perfect!
Room was large, clean, and included a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, and ironing board. Bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows. They also serve a hot breakfast (which is excellent). They have a small bar, but I didn’t take the time to enjoy that during this visit.
- sherik855 (10/5): Small town with a great place to stay! - I've stayed at Cobblestone Inn & Suites in Hartington, NE several times and it doesn't disappoint!! Clean rooms, plenty of pillows, and great room amenities. Walking distance to a great Mexican restaurant and food chains. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.
- Jodi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brooke (7/5): Good - Convenience, price and easy to locate - no elevator to 2nd floor
- bathroom cleanliness was subpar
- door locks (with key) were challenging to operate
- Z2356GAmichaels (10/5): Great place for family to stay for a wedding - We stayed here for our son's wedding. Jennifer and the rest of the staff were AMAZING!! We had a lot of family members staying here so it was confusing for them to get the rooms figured out but they were very patient with us and we got everyone a room with no issues. We even added a room in the middle of our stay. When they found out the bride and groom (our son) would be staying there the night of their wedding, they offered to upgrade their room to a suite -- a very special gift to them.
The bar was a great place to sit and relax and enjoy visiting. They were very accommodating for our family -- they opened up the meeting room to allow our family to enjoy having breakfast together. Our granddaughter was working on her genealogy with her great aunt so they opened up the meeting room for them to work there also.
Our only issue was no elevator to get our heavy luggage upstairs. But the beds are really comfortable and the staff is very friendly. We are very appreciative of all they did for us to make our stay extra special for everyone. We will definitely be staying here again if we get a chance.
- Gary (10/5): - This place is an absolute gem, friendly customer service, clean rooms, comfortable beds, and the bonus is a hotel lounge.
- Hector (8/5): - Property and staff were amazing.
- Nathan (8/5): - This place is ok, but the rating is much higher than it should be. This is a solid 8.0, no higher. The price was good and it was clean. Fitness room has no treadmill. Never seen that before...
- Alan (10/5): - It was easy to get around and the room was clean easy to get around in
- jolene (8/5): - Nice motel and nice person at the check in. My room was clean and comfortable. Except don't like the t.v. channels are not good. The bed is comfortable.
- Laura (6/5): - The beds were terrible. Unless you like to sleep in a sunken ship. It was quiet and clean.
- Mike (10/5): Exceptional - Quiet, clean, no annoying cleaning chemical odor.
- Shelly (6/5): - Didn’t realize hotel doesn’t have an elevator. Door to room was hard to open. Property was clean, just a few quirks
- claymaker (10/5): Wonderful Stay at Cobblestone Inn, Hartington - I had a wonderful experience staying at the Cobblestone Inn in Hartington. Julie, the manager, along with her friendly and accommodating staff, made me feel welcome from the start. The room was very clean, which was a pleasant surprise.
The only minor issue I encountered was with the shower’s water pressure. However, switching the showerhead to the massage setting made a big difference, so it wasn't a major problem. I also noticed the shampoo and body wash bottles in the shower were empty, but housekeeping promptly resolved the issue after I informed them.
The hotel was relatively quiet during my stay since it wasn’t fully booked, which added to the relaxing atmosphere.
Breakfast was good, though I’d recommend adding a warming tray for a few of the items to keep them hot. They also offer alcohol at very reasonable prices, which is a nice touch. Although I don’t drink, I appreciated that they had non-alcoholic beer available.
There’s also a small room stocked with snacks and a variety of selections, which was super convenient.
Overall, I’d highly recommend staying here and would definitely return if I'm in Hartington again.
- Dana (10/5): - Good customer service
- Josh (8/5): Very good -
- Molly (8/5): Decent stay for one night - The room was very comfortable. There was a message on the phone, so the light on the phone blinked all night. We just put a rag over it. The room appeared clean, but when we used the shower there was hair all down the wall of it. There was also a spot of dried urine on the base of the toilet. My husband went to the lobby early to have a cup of coffee and wait for the breakfast to open. He said the lady who checked us in the day before was lying on the couch asleep. Said it was very awkward. Breakfast was decent and what we would’ve expected.
- caryc2015 (8/5): C & G Stay in Harrington - Clean facilities and room. No elevators, if you're someone who needs them but the 2nd floor stairs are right at the entrance. Breakfast is so, so as are most "free breakfasts". There are a couple places to eat downtown (just a few blocks away). We were directed to "Big Hair Brewhouse" for our Saturday afternoon visit and it had a good selection of "sports pub" foods and draft beer including local.
- Jan (10/5): - Staff was friendly and helpful. Best Mex restaurant with in walking distance.
- ELAINE (4/5): - We reported a broken shower the first day. They said they would fix. We stayed two nights. Never offered to move us to different room or discount on room. The shower was not fixed. No shower while we were there for two days.
- Taylor (4/5): - Showers had a lot of buildup on them creating bad water pressure. Waited for staff to come back from smoking to check in. Not worth the $200.
- Kevin (10/5): - Rooms were clean. Employees were very friendly.
- William (7/5): Good - Good Nothing
- Peter (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jennifer (10/5): - This was a quiet little Inn and the front desk lady was incredibly nice. Thank you for a great stay!
- Katrina (4/5): Disappointing -
- Jerry (5/5): Passable - OKDONT OVER CHARGE FOR
- Tonya (9/5): Superb -
- Verified traveler (10/5): Nice place - Nice little town nice hotel
- Craig (6/5): - Great staff & service.
The rooms are more than satisfactory.
The wifi however was not, in attempts to get their guests to pay for more speed the "free" version is very difficult to connect to and once you are able to connect, it runs incredibly slow.
- Ms. (10/5): Great stay! - The room was clean and quiet.
- Wendy (10/5): Very clean worth going off the beaten path. - Very clean and comfortable. Only issue was the faucet in the bathroom. Needs repair, room 117.
- Michelle (10/5): - Very nice, clean hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Quite, no one slamming doors ir running around. Could use an elevator and a pool, but it was a nice place for our stay and thankful to have a place up that part of the state to stay while we are out Nebraska Passporting.
- Stephen (10/5): - Friendly
- Hansen (9/5): Superb -
- Hamilton (10/5): The staff was friendly - The breakfast was excellent
- Sarah (8/5): Very good -
- Trinity (7/5): Good - The back door was incredibly difficult to get into. I had to scan my card 10+ times to get it to open.
- Tracy (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (8/5): Average - Location was good, comfortable bed Too expensive for the accommodations, limited breakfast, no outdoor seating, no covered parking, check in was slow
- Ron (8/5): - Breakfast suck!
- Angela (10/5): - This hotel is such a great value when visiting family in the area. The rooms are clean, the beds and pillows are comfortable and the hotel is clean. The one thing that wasn't well thought out is the breakfast area. There are four tables squished into a tiny area so if someone is sitting at the front two tables it's almost impossible to get to the back two tables. I'm not sure what could be done about this. We did enjoy sitting and visiting with family in the lobby living room area however the Hallmark channel is on 24/7 and the volume button on the remote did not work to turn it down so that we could talk. We were able to just change it to a channel that had nothing on it just so that we didn't have the background noise when we were visiting. The breakfast is adequate but needs to be kept warm and refreshed a little more often than it was.
We loved walking around the neighborhood and into the town in the mornings.
- Angela (10/5): - We were super impressed with this clean, comfortable and affordable lodging option while visiting family in the area.
- Mary (10/5): - Great place to stay quiet
- Stephanie (6/5): - Ok for the price. Breakfast wasn’t great.
- Fritz and Cheryl (10/5): - Great place to stay.
- Rick (10/5): - Good
- Z1517MOstephanieb (10/5): Great stay! - Our stay was top-notch! Clean, friendly, cozy and accommodating! The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was delicious! We also enjoyed that there were alcoholic beverages available and a ‘convenient store’ with items that we could bill to our room. We would definitely recommend staying here and we will be back again!
- Kim (9/5): We’d stay again. - Relaxed and quiet Sink faucet leaks in room 108. Forgot to tell front desk
- Rebecca (10/5): - Great property! Room and common areas were very clean and well taken care of. Check in and check out was easy and efficient.
- Mike (10/5): - Easy check-in, -out, very quiet on a weekend.
- Tamara (10/5): - Very nice Inn. Clean, quiet, friendly and helpful staff.
- jewelsa02 (10/5): Friendly - Friendly, Accommodating and Welcoming. Stayed there for a family wedding. Was able to accommodate us during our stay.
- Laura (10/5): - Just on the outskirts of town. There's a Caseys next door and Ma' Monas Mexican restaurant next to that, which was excellent.
- Jeffrey (9/5): Superb - Noisy neighbors
- Debra (10/5): - Enjoyed our stay. Room was clean, beds comfortable and breakfast was good.
- Jeffrey (8/5): Very good -
- Nicholas (6/5): - Nothing can be done from the staff, they were amazing. Hotel was under renovation it seemed and the hall ways were paper thin. The tv did not revieve signal so it didnt work at all. But again ibwant to impress how amazing the staff was to help with what was in their control.
- X1654ZImichaelb (10/5): Great stay - Great stay, ask to have trash taken out, resupply of coffee and towels but they didn't get to it. Not a big deal. Very friendly and nice staff. Breakfast was good and coffee fresh and hot. I will definitely stay there again when I am in the area. Thanks!!
- Justin (10/5): - Nice and quiet hotel.
- Rebecca (10/5): - Toaster didn’t work, breakfast was good, door handles were a bit odd and had to be pulled in specific directions.
All in all a great stay. Wonderfully kept property - very comfortable and extraordinarily clean.
- Keith (9/5): Superb -
- Matt (10/5): *** - Was as expected, had no issues
I appreciate that
- Amy (8/5): - Edit: Julie, the manager, was able to figure things out the next morning. She apologized and offered us a free room next time. So we’ll be back! It’s a hidden gem.
Original: What a disaster! The front desk person couldn’t find my Expedia reservation even though I had text and email confirmations and the reservation number. I had no choice but to pay again (a much higher price) and hope that the manager will make it right. We’ve stayed here several times over the past few years and I’m really disappointed. Once you get checked in (it took us over an hour), the rooms are clean and quiet.
- Melissa (10/5): - The breakfast is great, the staff is friendly and the rooms are very nice.
- Phylis Jean (10/5): - Clean, quiet, very accommodating
- Gary (10/5): - Great stay - room was clean, bed was comfortable, affordable, and staff was very friendly and helpful. If in area again and need a room will plan to stay here again
