• seanfT7366VZ (10/5): Great hotel and a good location - This is a great hotel and in an excellent location. The main square is a 10 minute walk away. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The breakfast was good, with plenty of different options to choose from. We took the train from Krakow airport and it was £8.22 for Two adults. We then grabbed an Uber from Glowny station to the hotel. This was around £2.50. The rooms were plenty big enough for a short stay and had a TV and coffee/tea making facilities. We didn't eat in the hotel other than breakfast, so can't comment on that. Unfortunately we only had a Three night stay in Krakow and this for us wasn't enough. We shall definitely return and wouldn't hesitate to use the golden tulip again!

• judybainbridge46 (10/5): Possibly one of the best places hotels in Krakow for site seeing - This hotel is excellently placed for site seeing. Everywhere is within walking distance and it is surrounded by historical places to see. The hotel itself is immaculate, the breakfast buffet is extensive and very good, the staff are very friendly and helpful. Our room was spotless and had ample tea and coffee making facilities. The shower was excellent and the hotel was very quiet. It is about a 10 minute walk to the river and about 20 minutes to the main Market Square. There were lots of cheap restaurants in the vicinity that serve excellent food.

The hotel is an easy five minute walk from the main market place where there are many pavement cafes and restaurants to choose from. The hotel was spotlessly clean. All of the staff were friendly and very helpful. A good buffet breakfast with plenty to choose from. The taxi from the airport cost about £25. The hotel is conveniently placed for the main attractions in Krakow.

• carolinegI5903MU (10/5): Highly recommend - A fantastic hotel just outside the old town... easy walking distance to all key tourist spots. About 20 minutes from the train station and 25 minutes by taxi from airport. The rooms are clean and well presented. Fresh towels every day, tea coffee and mini bar fridge. Reception staff very helpful and restaurant staff are efficient and most pleasant. Breakfast is a wide selection of buffet items and hot food. Excellent coffee and sparkling wine served on weekend mornings. The cocktail bar is small but good selection of drinks and cocktails at very reasonable prices. The vodka tasting flight of 5 flavoured vodkas for 45 zloty is fun!

Scrambled eggs were amazing! We felt the pillows were not the best and a little small. But when we asked for a further two pillows, we had them within minutes by friendly staff.

• Global28900991537 (10/5): Great hotel that ticks all the boxes. - A really great hotel. Centrally located but in a quiet side street. Staff were very nice and friendly and professional. The hotel is on four floors and was very clean. There is a good restaurant and bar. Breakfast was a buffet and was excellent with a fantastic choice of hot and cold food. Room was great with free minibar items. Great pillows and a lovely bathroom. The room was clean and airy. We would come back to this hotel tel again n without any hesitation.

Tym razem otrzymałam pokój, który był cichy, przestronny, z dobrą przestrzenią do pracy. Kilka miesięcy temu prosiłam hotel o przedstawienie mi oferty, w związku z tym, ze jestem w hotelu w każdym miesiącu. Pomimo zapewnienia, że ktoś do mnie napisze, nie otrzymałam żadnej wiadomości. Hotel tez nie powiadomił mnie o zamknięciu restauracji na czas mojego pobytu i nie zaproponował żadnej rekompensaty. Napisałam o tym kilka miesięcy temu w swojej opinii, na którą też nie otrzymałam żadnej odpowiedzi. Tym razem było wszystko bardzo dobrze. Personel jest znakomity - szczególnie mam na myśli obsługę restauracji - tak wieczorem, jak również śniadaniowo. Śniadania są także bardzo dobre i dużym wyborem. Znakomite naleśniki. Tym razem nie mam zastrzeżeń. Wszystko było bardzo dobrze. Powyżej napisałam o swoich uwagach dotyczących wcześniejszego pobytu, co do których nie miałam informacji zwrotnej z hotelu.

• Rubycat1 (10/5): Great stay in Krakow - Just returned from this lovely hotel and cannot fault the place. The staff are very helpful and very obliging, the place a really clean and a good location for the main square and tram connections to other areas of the city. We were on a B&B basis and our spacious rooms on the 3rd floor. The breakfast offers a very wide choice with something for everyone. The lift became faulty on a couple of occasions but was immediately rectified. Cocktails at bar are tasty and good value and along with reception staff, the bar staff are so obliging. I had injured my knee and asking for ice to reduce swelling was obliged immediately. The check in process is so slow slick and completed in a couple of minutes. There is a small convenient store 50m on the corner, to get snacks or drinks, whilst the 3rd floor rooms have a small mini bar that is stocked and free on arrival, whilst not replenished (this is applicable for slightly upgraded rooms) whilst single drink tea/coffee is replaced daily. One more positive is the tsp water is drinkable. Overall a place I would have no hesitation in returning to.
