Ger (10/5): Fantastic "camping" option - We don't camp. Our friends do. They stayed in the campsite over the road and we stayed in the cabins, getting together around a campfire at night but staying in luxury during the day. Very comfortable cabin, with everything we needed. The bird life is spectacular, and the property has donkeys and Highland cows.
Janet (10/5): Beautiful, peaceful surroundings with wood-fire - Wake up to the sounds of birds and a warm and cosy wood-fire. Loved every minute of our weekend away. Main Range National Park right next door. Easy bushwalks, fantastic lookouts all the way to the horizon. Beautiful creek with frogs, lizards and local birds. Very relaxing stay. Hosts are very welcoming. Bedroom and bathroom is spacious. Kitchen has everything you need. This will be our regular winter hideaway.

Sally (8/5): Privacy and Comfort - Goomburra is the perfect place to really get away within an easy and pleasant drive from the city. This retreat is quiet, private, clean and very comfortable. Margaret, our host, was friendly and helpful, accommodation comfortable and well-appointed, fireplace a lovely bonus. The only small fault was the tiny, poor quality TV. As the thing to do at night is cuddle up in front of the fire and watch a movie (the retreat has a good library to borrow from), it would be good to have a decent TV. Otherwise - perfect!
