We didn't like the 2nd night because people in room diagonally opposite were so drunk, and noisy, they kept their door wide open from 1.30am-7am and would not close it. There was at least 4 or 5 different voices in there. They were so loud, it was terrible and we couldnt get any sleep. We did open our door and slam it hoping they would be quiet. But they did not stop. Then just when we were trying to nod off they came knocking on our door it was 3am in the morning and disturbed us. I opened it and there was a man standing there with brown hair and a moustache, whom was intoxicated, I looked at him, and he goes oh sorry wrong room and was pointing to room diagonally across with the people in it, with a smirk. We know he had not got the wrong room as their door was wide open. The whole hallway would of heard them, im sure. They were rude and inconsiderate. We got no sleep thanks to them. I packed the car early, then at 7am they finally shut their door. But it was to late to be quiet it was daytime. We had our breakfast, then left the room and told the girl at reception what we had endured, gave her our key and left. We did like it until then. It ruined our weekend away. I am not real happy as we paid out alot of money for our weekend away to see Tones and I. Staff were great, location was great, venue itself was great. We just didn't get to enjoy our second night there due to rude intoxicated people. We think some of them were brought back there to that room and not staying there. We couldn't do anything to stop it as we are two, 50 yr old women. I feel it may have caused trouble if we had gone to them and said be quiet.

- Britt-marie (6/5): Det var väl ok, bra sängar o badrum men vattenflaska på rummet kostade 4 Aud st. Ingen utsikt, fönstret plastat som insy - Centralt i Ulverstone. Bra sängar o badrum. Vi har bott på många ställen i Australien men inte blivit debiterade 4 Aud för en flaska vatten. Dessutom var det noll utsikt fr rummet pga att fönstret var täckt med plast! Trist. Sedan fanns det bara en stol på rummet, så en fick sitta i sängen o äta.

- Sally (9/5): Very comfortable and budget friendly stay in the heart of Ulverstone. - This centrally located property right in the Ulverstone CBD is great value and very resonably priced. It looks like it has been renovated or refurbished recently. The sheets and towel quality was vey good. The bed was comfortable. Shower and bathroom area was clean, modern with good water pressure. This compact room included a slimline desk and two chairs abutting the wall below the TV. This slimline desk wasn’t suitable for two people to sit at whilst relaxing or scrolling. What could enhance this room would be a very small table for two people beside the window. We ended up moving a bedside cabinet to the window area with the two chairs so we could both sit at a table in the afternoon sunshine.

Staff on reception was very helpful and called us to to check we were on way as the ferry had been delayed. Were there are on a Thursday night and it was very quiet.

Meals were nice and well presented,a play area indoors for the kids in the same area as the restaurant, a bar and gambling area for adults. The room was quiet and comfy. It’s location suited us , set among historic buildings and near natural attractions.A laundromat ,cafes ,restaurants and shopping an easy walk. Access to upstairs room via staircase, no lift available.

- Michael (5/5): Cheap accommodation in a pub with a gaming room - Availability. Beautiful new modern bathroom. Our room overlooked an intersection with constant pedestrian crossing sound warnings cycling ALL NIGHT. The sound was funnelled into the first floor rooms overlooking the Main Street by an awning over the windows. Also the gaming room at the rear of the property is a horror show.
