Well resourced with everything you could need including full laundry and kitchen staples. Added bonus of pats and kisses from the owners dogs Rio and Zali 🥰 Would have liked a fan in the bedroom.

We enjoyed the hospitality, vineyard and the courtyard garden. The unit is very clean, equipped and complete like a home. We relaxed with wine and cheese at the courtyard garden and immersed in the serenity and freshness of spring. We will stay again when we next visit McLaren Vale.

The bottle of wine and the fruit chops was a nice touch and the wine was quite tasty. Hist was unwell so redid not meet but she did keep in contact tomato sure we were okay. The uncovered windows. Very minor issue though.

The fireplace was great as well. There were many birds around the property and it was quiet and peaceful. A perfect weekend getaway. The host was lovely and responded very quickly.

• Neroli (10/5): Beautiful, contemporary and clean property, homely touches and stunning views. - This property was absolutely stunning, the place was so beautiful and clean and had the nicest outlook over the vineyards. The cottage was decorated so well and fully stocked, it was the small touches like the fresh flowers, milk for tea and coffee from the region and a book full of recommendations and information about the area. We adored staying here and would highly recommend. Stunning!

Ochre Cottage was like home away from home - had all the household resources you needed. We liked the welcome touch of complimentary red wine (from their vineyard), chocolates, various condiments & local brochures. Maybe a container for recyclable bottles & cans? And a rail in the kitchen to hang the T-towel.

Kitchen facilities adequate for most purposes with 4 hot plates and a microwave. Good size fridge and great washing/ drying facilities. Very private with undercover parking and Issy is a great host. Nothing comes to mind

Very friendly service and great location. We came for an event that got cancelled last minute. We messaged Issy she gave us a few suggestions Very pleased to see a little dishwasher hiding in the cupboard. It was like staying with family. 2 really friendly dogs. Bed and sofa were comfortable It was a pleasant stay. We will be frequent guests. Nothing. I loved this property.

• Lorna (9/5): A very pleasant mini break on a small family run vineyard, close to a number of wineries. - The unit was easily reached, situated well back on a quiet through road and close to Willunga. It was only 10 mins drive to Aldinga Beach and The larger shopping centre at Aldinga, though Willunga had everything we needed. Close to any number of wineries that offered a variety of meals in addition to wine tasting. Nothing.

A short distance to Port Elliot (check the bakery there) and Victor Harbor (Granite island walk, Urimbirra wildlife park), Lessismore farm. The property is very well maintained with everything you need on hand. Scenic views from the windows! The hospitality of the owners is next level - it was super easy to communicate and we were surprised by a welcoming gift upon arrival.

The breakfast inclusions were incredibly generous and delicious! Welcome wines and chocolates were very thoughtful and a great surprise. The host was lovely and text us on our first night to check in and ensure we had everything we needed. Nothing was a dealbreaker, but small things that could help improve this place even more: Older furniture - but this gave it a super homely and comfortable feel. (A slightly bigger bed could be a good inclusion though). If people are staying a few days it could be a good idea to include some extra kindling/fire starters. The only other thing I could suggest adding would be a robe and slippers to really get in that cosy vibe by the fire :)

Just what we needed. - The LP player was such a great addition to make our weekend away just perfect. the accommodation was perfectly clean super comfy. The fire pit was a great warmed up the cosy cottage. Very private. Location was perfect close to wineries, breweries and distilleries. Breakfast was beautiful presented and was great to cook ourselves. Hosts were great. Very tidy and clean. If I could rate a 10 I would rate a 20! Would definitely go back again. Everything was perfect. If I must nit pick maybe just have some yogurt for the breakfast cereal. Otherwise pure perfection.
