- Meredith (8/5): Lovely stay on Keura - Lovely location, pet friendly, very clean and staff just were great. No heating in the bathroom and it was cold. Need to be careful on the stairs.

- Austin-eames (10/5): Exceptional - Used a code with great instructions Lighting could be better outside with the stairs at night.
- Margaret (8/5): Very enjoyable, cosy , quaint & warm, fireplace awesome!=) - Lovely little cottage that met all our expectations. Cosy & warm with the fireplace, & the aircon was great as we were there on a very chilly weekend! Very sweet & cute.. loved the decor. Very happy indeeed! The only suggestions I have is heating in the little bathroom for the chilly winter nights, & lights all the way down the steps at the front of the house to see your way to the car. Other than that, perfect!
- Michelle (10/5): Wonderful break exploring the Blue Mountains with our pup! The cottage felt like home immediately. - Amazing location and cosy cottage. Our doggy had a lovely time and we enjoyed it enormously! Nothing!
- Robin (8/5): Relaxing and the old mountain feel - Cost and quant Nothing suited us perfectly
- Olia (9/5): Superb -
- Michelle (9/5): Superb - Cute little cottage close to town with almost everything you could need. Was on the most part very comfortable. Nice addition would be a heater for use in bathroom as its very cold when you get out especially if you have window open to let the steam fairies out. The host is wonderful and helpful. Highly recommended The lounge is in serious need of updating, no support and uncomfortable to sit on. We ended up using pillows and cushions to sit on on the lounge. Some solar lights along the steps up to cottage would be handy and make it safer to travel at night.
- Darren (8/5): Excellent place to relax and peaceful - Really cool little house with a lot of character and furnished well to suit 100 year old miners cottage , love the morning sun on veranda and all local bush in area is amazing the bed very comfy and really amazing wild birds , I had a crimson rosella couple come visit which I’ve never in my life seen before ! Love to stay again many thanks 😊 I love to have a bath to relax and unfortunately didn’t have one but not a big deal at all as don’t think could fit one in anyway
- Kate (8/5): Very good -
- Samuel (8/5): Very good -
- Luella (7/5): Excellent location, quaint old cottage, a few minor issues. - This little cottage is in a perfect location with Luera (amazing town!) only a few minutes drive away, plus Katoomba and all the sites within short driving distance. We were traveling with two doggies and the garden is well secured with plenty of space for them to sniff out. Compared to other places Picollo was also very good value for money. We spent two nights there (first one freezing but the underfloor heating worked well and quickly warmed the place). The bed was very comfortable and clean, and the kitchen had everything needed for home cooking. Minor things.
No matches to light the fireplace (which the owner offered to drop off the next day but we didn't ask this of him). The property is very old so the bathroom isn't fab with a leaky loo so we placed floor towels around. The shower also had a minor leak.
Only a tiny bit of washing up liquid left and holey kitchen gloves - not a big deal except you are asked to wash all dishes and put everything away. I did send text to owner to advise but no reply. As I said, these are minor things but having traveled over 5,000kms from SA to NSW and back we have been surprised at the attention to detail most places offer.
AND if you are not good with steps/stairs this probably isn't the place for you. Parking is on the road level, the little cottage has approx @20 plus old steep steps. A lot of lugging up and down if you're only there for a short time with luggage and pets.
- Jennifer (8/5): Very good - Everything you need, great location, pet friendly Loved it all, just a couple of small things, coffee and sugar damp and the lounge too little and uncomfortable,, my husband could hardly fit. Overall still loved it
- Rachid (8/5): Value for money - Location as expected was good Property requires a bit more care and preparation - like replace missing light bulbs
- Arthur (8/5): Very good -
- Jane (8/5): Clean, comfortable, cute -
- Kreslin (7/5): It was a pleasant location and suited us - The location was good and the property had a pleasant character The fact that the car had to remain at the bottom of the property and any/all luggage had to be carried up a large number of stairs. At night there was limited lighting of the stairs which meant we had to be very cautious going from the car to the house while using our own torch/phone, something that was problematic when hands were full carrying things
- Roben (9/5): Comfortable warm and laid back for a quick weekend away from city and work.....with the schnauzer! -
- Charlotte (10/5): Exceptional - Loved the cosy cabin and the fireplace was the highlight of it.
- Pat (7/5): peaceful, bush outlook great for a relaxation and read a book for a few days. -
- Victoria (8/5): Great place for a mountain break. - Well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. A safe garden for our dog. Comfortable and well heated. There was no curtain in the bathroom.
- Terry (7/5): very comfortable - could have had better quality bath towels
- Manuel (10/5): Exceptional - cosy
- Tanya (9/5): The cottage was cute, eclectic and cozy. - Cute and cozy. Good heating options. The bathroom. A coffee plunger would have been good - we forgot ours.
- Amy (8/5): Great location, cosy and comfortable cottage - Very convenient location. Hosts were prompt to reply to issues. House had everything you would need and more. Super cosy.
- Egil (9/5): Cozy cabin - We had a great time in this house. We loved the atmosphere and character of the place and the decorations. Great base for hiking if you have a car.

- Michele (10/5): Exceptional -
- Catherine (7/5): Piccolo was a quaint little cottage. A good size for 2 people. - The sofa bed needs updating.
- Maggie (8/5): a comfortable stay, a bit of a stretch re value for money. - charming house in a quiet part of Leura with a well equipped kitchen some paintwork was tired and the bathroom a bit basic. the programmed heating was a challenge

- Susan (9/5): Good choice - Location was good and the house was very comfortable
- Natalie (10/5): our dog loves exploring the garden, very relaxing for all of us :) - The bed was very comfortable and electric blanket very welcome during winter!
- SMJ (8/5): Cosy place with a lovely fireplace - Piccolo is a lovely little cottage with a wonderful fireplace to snuggle up infront of. Free wifi and netflix was a plus. The place can get very cold, so definitely bring slippers. Most comfortable bed ever! Only a 2-3 min drive and you are in Leura or Katoomba center.
