Guest Reviews
- Amanda (10/5): Well-equipped & comfy; indoors and outdoors - We loved our single-night stay in this beaut little house. It had everything we needed for cooking, washing, sleeping and enjoying ourselves. We loved using the fire pit and super pleased it was already set up with wood. Nicola was super friendly and informative, too. There is road noise, but it's hardly noticeable inside.
- ShaunandStacey (9/5): - Excellent little touches, firepit loaded ready to light when we arrived, multiple throws in the lounge to keep cozy, even a litre of milk in the fridge Was a little disappointed to not see any farm animals on the property
- Randall (10/5): -
- Patrick (10/5): - Nicole was an absolute fantastic host, super friendly and nice. I had a wonderful stay here while away for work, the house itself had everything we needed. I’ll definitely be staying here again/recommending it!
- Marjolein (8/5): - Heel aardig en hulpzame host. Super locatie om kangoeroes te spotten. De krekels hoor je dag en nacht super wat een natuur
- Kia (10/5): Lovely quiet and peaceful place to stay at the gateway to the Grampians - Quiet and peaceful.
Had everything required and was larger than expected.
Accommodated 6 of us (two small kids) with ease after a nearby wedding. Nothing, great spot.

- Fletcher (10/5): A beautiful cosy place to stay in the Ararat/Grampians region - It is a beautiful and quiet location. It was a very cold evening and the lovely owner turned on the heating before our arrival for our comfort. They also had electric blankets on the beds which was awesome. And there was extra bedding and cosy throw rugs to use if needed.
- Haydn (8/5): Found it to be a beautiful place to stay and if we are around that way again will definitely consider this place for a c - Loved the location and the lovely cosy accommodation. Beautiful view and very peaceful and the host was very polite Found the towels provided were quite small and the only issue with facilities was the main bed frame sides of the bed were quite high compared to the mattress itself
- Megan (10/5): A great ‘home base’ for exploring the Grampians! - Well appointed property that had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay! Having access to ammenities such as a washer/dryer plus a full kitchen is a huge draw when traveling with kids!
I was impressed that the kitchen had all the bits and bobs we needed in terms of dishes and kitchenware.
We travelled during winter and all the beds having heated blankets was also a nice touch and made sure we were nice and cozy. N/A the property was perfect for our needs.

Our home for the night was perfectly set up by our host, with everything we needed - all with country warmth. Short drive to IGA, then kitchen provided everything. Stunningly peaceful setting, with just sheep and birds for company.

It is set in an idyllic location just outside of Ararat and close to the Grampians.
The host, Nicole was very welcoming and hospitable.
The inside has everything you need, very comfortable and spotless.
A highlight for us was the firepit which the host had set up before our arrival.
It is so relaxing to sit by the fire outside which overlooks a dam and fields with kangaroos jumping around at sunset.
We look forward to visiting again for a city getaway. Nothing

From the large, cool space to the well equipped kitchen, everything about our stay was very pleasant. The remote location was lovely, and having kangaroos as neighbours was a fun difference!
It was an added bonus to have two separate bedrooms, plus shared living space, and the included parking space was very helpful. A really comfortable living area, and the apartment is brilliantly located for exploring the Grampians.
Overall we had a wonderful stay; our only regret is we didn't book to stay longer to enjoy the space and explore the area more!

Easily accessible and friendly and comfortable
Great countryside near Grampians
- Michelle (10/5): Great cabin stay on a farm close to the Grampians - Very friendly staff, not too busy to stop and chat. We fed and petted two horses, played in the unique playground which has a great cubby, climbing equipment, mini golf and other activities including an outdoor pizza oven. You can purchase locally made food items. Its a close drive to Ararat, the Grampians National Park and wineries. Great place for kids to stay. The cabin was clean, practical with microwave, oven, stove, fridge, tv, stereo, electric blankets, fans and cooling and its own outdoor eating area with barbeque. Would love to come again.
- Peter (8/5): Lost - The apartment was as expected good value for money with pleasant hosts. Hotels.com gave us the wrong phone number and address and caused us to travel an extra 100Km and try to book into the wrong accommodation. Please get it right for your customers sake!
