Guest Reviews
- FletchB (9/5): We would definitely stay again. Comfortable beds, very clean, stunning view. - Stunning location, very quiet, easy access. Refresh of coffee/tea and clean cups each day would have been appreciated over a 3 day stay.
- Mauricio (10/5): -
- Michelle (8/5): Beautiful. Sad to go - The views and the location It wasn’t overly private on the deck. If you want more privacy is probably isn’t for you but we really enjoyed our stay 🥰
- Ariel (9/5): -
- C. (10/5): A beautiful stay ❤️ - The accommodation was just lovely and very clean, the views amazing, breakfast was delicious and the hosts are super friendly and helpful. Lots of great hikes and viewpoints close by.
- Michael (10/5): A very enjoyable stay, in wonderful surroundings. - We had a very enjoyable 3 day stay, in a comfortable room with wonderful views from our balcony. We had breakfast on one of the days ( continental and cooked) and both were of a high quality. There is also the option to eat at the nearby Conservation Hut which is again excellent.
The fact that we were able to hike the many trials from the Valley of the Waters B&B without moving the car was an added bonus.
- Emilie (9/5): The first place I look to for availability if I am looking for accommodation in the Blue Mountains. - Breakfast, if requested, is exceptional. Rooms have magnificent views. The premises are located a short walk from the Conservation hut which has a great cafe and is the starting point for numerous beautiful walks. The weather?
- Glenda (9/5): - The view, the quiet, comfortable bed. Outside setting of table and chairs. No lounge chair in the room. No safety rail to hold on to getting in and out of spa.
- Lisa (8/5): -
- Emma (10/5): Paradise! - The view was great, and the breakfast was really considered N/a
- Gilles (10/5): -
- toko (8/5): Nice view cozy room - outside balcony, bathtub, very welcoming feeling.
Walking distance to the hiking course. Bathroom and the small kitchenette area needs more space to put things. There is no desk and luggage racks.
- Katharine (10/5): Wonderful - Incredible views, easy check-in, lovely breakfast, right next to some lovely walking tracks and a good restaurant for lunch. Nothing really - maybe a slightly more comfortable chair for after hikes!
- Gemma (10/5): -
- jenkins (10/5): -
- Elodie (7/5): - L’emplacement est magnifique Le petit déjeuner est loin d’être exceptionnel, les prestations ne sont plus les mêmes qu’il y a quelques années. Nous sommes déçus.
- Marisol (9/5): - The view of the mountains from the balcony Maybe the balcony was connected to the other rooms balcony so if you both outside, you would see each other. So I would say the privacy.
- Kerry (8/5): Beautiful, peaceful and close to nature. - The location is close to bush walks, cafe and shops. Loved the view from the room. Stayed in the loft and would have loved a little TV in the 2nd bedroom.
- Deborah (9/5): Such a beautiful place to relax and recharge. Highly recommended this accommodation. -
- RENE (9/5): -
- Sara (10/5): Great location, accessible by public transport, great views and hosts! - In a lovely location, so close to great trails, also very close to a bus stop which is perfect if you don’t have a car! We used the public transport to get to Katoomba and back which was very easy if you check the times of buses. The balcony had incredible views and the property was of excellent standard. The walk to the shop in Wentworth Falls was around 30 mins which was fab, also plenty of takeways on uber eats which were great for dinners. The hosts were lovely and very accommodating. All in all a great stay and would highly recommend.
- Nati (10/5): - Views from room balcony were amazing. Room was clean, comfortable and heated blankets were a nice touch! Hosts were great and responsive. Would recommend to anyone. Location is few steps from walking trails.
- Claudia (9/5): Fabulous - The view was amazing and location was perfect. The deck could do with a sunshade as it gets the sun from dawn to dusk and so we couldn’t sit outside, which is a shame.
Some cutlery would have been helpful as we are in one night and all there is is one knife and 2 small plates.
- Cai (9/5): It’s a very peaceful place for a short break. - It has an amazing view and beautiful birds came to visit us. Nothing
- Bridget (10/5): A lovely stay here in the valley. Beauitful views and a real get away - Very peaceful and tranquil
- P.T. (9/5): Fantastische plek voor de Blue Mountains - Hele fijne, schone accommodatie met aardige gastheer en mooi uitzicht Kan niks bedenken
- deepesh (10/5): Great find .. Will stay longer next time - every thing was great ;
great location;
great facilities; nothing
- Lindy (9/5): -
- Greg (10/5): Amazing host, great food, incredible views, would stay again and really recommend you do too. - Excellent breakfast, got to choose from cooked or continental. Wife chose continental, I chose cooked, enough food to feed a small army showed up. Loads of fruit, juice, great sourdough, eggs, sausages, you name it. Also, the loft room has a stunning view over the valley and a jacuzzi, along with a spare room for all your gear while you stay. Even though we showed up late, the host was gracious and welcoming. Ample parking on site as well. There's nothing negative I can say about this place. Literally, nothing. Maybe the shower could have had higher water pressure? That's the most minor thing in the world. If you want to go to Katoomba proper you need a car, but there's a public bus as well and you know where the place is when you book it.
- Georgina (10/5): Wonderful B&B in the Blue Mountains. - The most incredible view from the property and fantastic walks from the door step. We stayed here for 3 nights in a very comfortable ensuite room with our own private balcony, the room was spotless as was a lovey communal sitting area for guests. Owners were really lovey and so helpful. Nothing not to like here.
- Maddaleine (10/5): Cosy welcoming stay in a beautiful location - Wish we could have stayed longer! The room was cosy and welcoming, with a spacious bathroom and comfy bed. Beautiful balcony views, and a super easy check in/check out experience. Communication from the host was also 10/10 - thankyou! (Incredible cafe across the road for brekkie too) Nothing!
- Franziska (9/5): Fantastic bed&breakfast with stunning views! - Amazing house, super clean and comfy, really comfy bed, nice bath and jacuzzi, close to walking trails. Breakfast was good. Views from the balcony are just spectacular! (Perhaps some comfier chairs to really hang out on the balcony would be nice for enjoying it even more but they sure are not bad) all in all truly fantastic stay!
- Lucas (9/5): -
- Michelle (8/5): - Stunning view from the room with lovely outside decking area and full English breakfast also included.
- Alan (10/5): - Could not fault our stay here, the best view we have ever had from a Bedroom, a perfect B & B with fabulous breakfast tray every monring.
- Alexandra (10/5): - Absolutely loved our stay in the loft room at Valley of the Waters B&B! We came for a little babymoon getaway and we couldn’t be more happy with the beautiful room, view and breakfast. Close to everything and super quiet. Highly recommend!
- Paul (10/5): Amazing weekend away - Great views, comfortable room
- Cherie (10/5): -
- Arnoldus (10/5): - Beautiful location with an amazing mountain view. Marty was an excellent host. Information that he provided was very welcomed also the breakfast he made was on time and tasted awesome. Strongly recommend the Valley of the Waters B&B for your Blue Mountains vacation 😃👍. Photo below is the view of the mountain from our room.
- Corinne (8/5): Wonderful stay. Views amazing. Breakfast was outstanding. -
- Kamilė (10/5): -
- VALERIIA (10/5): A beautiful and peaceful place prefect for relaxing, enjoying hikes, nature, and fresh air. All facilities were as per d - Great facilities and views, nice and peaceful, very close to a beautiful hiking trail, spa bath, clean, everything as per description
- Chris (10/5): - An absolute gem of a place. It’s got a gorgeous view, clean comfortable rooms, and delicious brekky. The host is very lovely as well. Couldn’t be happier.
- Manuel (9/5): -
- Maria (10/5): -
- Bruce (8/5): - Well, the room was nicely appointed and lovely with a spa as well, We selected a room with a balcony and a view of the mountains but, due to the fog and constant non stop rain, we didn't get to see more than 10 meters in front of us the whole stay, which was very disappointing. Of course, no fault of the property owner.
- sarah (6/5): Great view but not private - The view was beautiful, but it was not very private and not very sound proof- could hear everything the person on the floor above was doing- from using the bath to the toilet
- Frédéric (9/5): -
- Caroline (10/5): Wonderful location and hosts - fantastic views - Tucked away in a very quiet location with amazing views from bedroom/living area with a great balcony overlooking the blue mountains. Hosts were super helpful and friendly. Conveniently located to a cafe where you could get breakfast only a 1 minute walk. Very quiet area nestled amongst the gum trees and wild life with walking trails available to the nearby waterfalls. Close to restaurants and the three sisters and scenic world. Nice shared casual lounge area downstairs where we were able to have some loverly chats with the other two couples who were staying in the other units. Nothing we did not like.
- andrea (9/5): - Beautiful views very clean and staff were amazing.
- Christina (10/5): - Absolutely beautiful location and people . Would 100% recommend.
- Helene (10/5): -
- Toni (10/5): Beautiful, relaxing and comfortable - great breakfast and breathtaking location we loved a brief chat to one of the owners, it would have been good to have more of the bnb experience where we met them and chatted more
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Adrian (10/5): excellent - Great location, views and brilliant breakfast delivered to your room!
- Cara (6/5): Pleasant - Peaceful and relaxing. Nice view from the balcony. Heating was good - nice and warm inside the room. Good location very close to Conservation Hut. Bed was quite soft, we prefer a firm mattress so found it a bit uncomfortable. Bathroom was freezing - no heating in there. Although it's close to Conservation Hut, we did end up driving into Katoomba most days for lunch/dinner and to see the 3 Sisters. Overall I felt it was overpriced in terms of value for money.
- Elizabeth (10/5): The view of the Blue Mountains from our room was awesome - Breakfast was delicious
- Nicholas (10/5): A fantastic getaway to the Blue Mountains - Stunning views, excellent location really close to a hiking trail and the conservation hut cafe. Clean, comfortable and spacious accommodation with heating system which definitely helped in the cold Autumn/Winter. Nice big TV. Super friendly host.
- Barry (10/5): Exceptional -
- Thomas (10/5): We had a great stay. Amazing views, clean rooms and comfy bed. - Friendly host, great location and amazing views. Highly recommend.
- Glenn (10/5): Great location, great views, warm, cosy, great breakfast. Absolutely recommend staying here. - A great location with a nice spacious room and balcony. Got up early every morning to watch the sun break.
The common room was well equipped, but you are out all day exploring. Nothing under this section.
- Rynott (9/5): Superb - The view from the room and balcony was absolutely amazing ! Stunning panoramic views of the valley and cliffs. The refrigerator was noisy.
- Regina (10/5): Exceptional - Love the view (when its all clear)
- Zhijie (10/5): Exceptional -
- ray (10/5): - Excellent place to stay. Brekky with a view was fantastic! Highly recommend 👍
- Mudaly (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stephen (10/5): Exceptional - Great view and very comfortable
- Nathalie (9/5): Superb -
- Ruthiexx (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alix (10/5): Wonderful B&B with an awesome view! - The room was so clean and the view is absolutely amazing. Was even able to see a starry night as the weather was nice. Would definitely come back if I come to the Blue Mountains again!
- INDREK (10/5): - Beautiful property with superb views over the Blue Mountains and very clean
- Kwang (10/5): Excellent location with clean, safe and comfortable room. - Friendly host. Comfortable and clean room and facilities. Great view from our room. Excellent location which was convenient for getting to food places and for sorting out our groceries. Also a good spot to explore the many sights in the Blue Mountains.
Would definitely return to stay here if coming to the Blue Mountains again Nothing. All good
- Sebastian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Richard (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mark (9/5): Overall accommodation was excellent and would stay again. - Breakfast was home cooked and plenty of food was provided. Could have a strip heater in bathroom for winter time
- Glenn (8/5): Nice, Enjoyable stay - Great location, close to walks for some waterfalls, close to other townships. Breakfast were good. Stairs to the loft - was a bit difficult after climbing stairs to waterfalls. Room (The Loft) was a bit stuffy without the A/C on a short while.
- Margaret (9/5): Super place. - The location was superb everything perfect. Breakfast on balcony overlooking magnificent view. I was a little disturbed in the night with the sound of fridge switching on and off.
- Charles (10/5): Peaceful, restful and stunning panoramas. - Everything! Accommodations, views, proximity to the Conservation Hut. NA
- Dhananjai (10/5): Exceptional - The view was amazing as well as the cleanliness of the room. The breakfast was very generous and delicious. Overall excellent value for money.
- Efstratios (10/5): Exceptional - The view of the balcony is amazing!!!
- Joseph (10/5): Exceptional -
- Victoria (10/5): Rudolph was like a crystal ball - Magical view
Sound of nature
Cosy beds
The best spa bath with candles
So peaceful Nothing
It was breathtaking exactly what we needed peacefulness and calm
Thanking you
- Jeannine (10/5): GREAT FOR SPECTACULAR WALKS - Perfect location with great walks nearby.
We had the top room with balcony.
Really good breakfast that set you up for the day.
The view is amazing.
It was spacious and we never felt the need to use the separate communal lounge below. Maybe a bit more crockery in the kitchen unit and mugs for tea, rather than cups.
- Tom (10/5): Exceptional -
- Georgia (10/5): - My partner and I had a fantastic stay at Valley of the Waters B&B. The view was incredible, it was neat and tidy and Marty was so kind and welcoming! Would definitely stay here again.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Amazing views from the Loft Suite. Lovely relaxing communal lounge area. Very clean and confortable room.
- Tracy (10/5): Valley of the Waters - Fantastic views and a lovely comfortable room we would love to stay again
- Luca (9/5): Superb -
- Peter (10/5): Fabulous - This place is worthy of all the 5 star reviews. Location is spectacular, room very private and quiet, especially clean, comfortable with some lovely touches. We had hot breakfast one morning and continental second morning. Both were very very good!
Hosts were friendly, didn't really see them much but felt comfortable to knock if we needed anything.
The location is awesome for walking, start of several tracks just metres down the road.
No food restaurants close for dinner but we knew that and planned to drive to dinner.
Only improvement I might suggest is different balcony furniture, a little more comfy for relaxing on the deck but this definitely not a deal breaker!
Definitely recommend and would certainly go back.
Thanks Janice and Martin.
- Alan (10/5): - Stunning view. Great service. Comfortable bed. Great bathroom with a spa (we stayed in "The Loft Suite"). Walking distance to some great walks. Great little outdoor deck. Excellent family entertainment facilities downstairs in the universal guest area; e.g. fireplace, DVDs (for viewing in your room), games, binoculars for the view daytime and nighttime (ie star gazing). Also there was a Bose Bluetooth speaker in our room and Foxtel. Can't really think of anything that was missing.
- Kurt (10/5): Owners were very friendly - Breakfast was excellent
- Timothy (9/5): Superb -
- Francine (9/5): Superb -
- Kate (9/5): Superb -
- Owen (9/5): Superb -
- Berrigan (10/5): Amazing place to stay - The view was amazing. Exactly like the photo on their site. Very clean and spacious. Nothing. It all was exceptional 🙌 could not fault a thing
- Sarah (9/5): Great value and convenience for memorable views and access to nature trails. - The location is amazing - beautiful views of The Blue Mountains from the room and private balcony. The spa bath was great after a day of hiking and the bed was firm and perfet for us. For larger family groups the three bedrooms and shared living room are a wonderful find in such a great location, close to the trailheads and The Convention Hut cafe. The room did not have a microwave or kitchen sink. Heating of the very large bathroom was minimal.
- Samantha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Yvonne (8/5): Relaxing. Quiet. Beautiful view. - Great to have breakfast at Conservation Hut as recommended by host as they were not available for breakfast that morning. Heater in bathroom
- Simon (10/5): Exceptional -
