- Nerida (10/5): Relaxing and beautiful - Location Historical setting Family committment Food and wine I can’t think of anything
- Benjamin (10/5): -
- Glenn (10/5): Lovely weekend. Will go back - Breakfast was amazing. Could not fault a thing The room and staff were fantastic. Beautiful place
- Fumika (10/5): -
- Deb (9/5): Comfortable stay with amazing surroundings and a great host. - We arrived to find a lovely host who took us through the house and showed us the facilities. The room was clean and large with doors out to a private garden area. Comfortable bed, deep bath and plenty of towels ready. The breakfast choice was amazing with a spectacular view from the table.
- DENISE (10/5): -
- Elizabeth (8/5): Lovely, family-run bed and breakfast - The breakfast was fabulous, so many options with a lovely view of the river. We enjoyed the country style room and had a lovely bottle of wine on our porch in the evening. It’s a lovely, family-run winery and BnB and we love their wines.

- Ange (8/5): - The place has an old charming vibe to it. It is secluded (15 min from nearest town) but that's exactly what we were after. The scenery is beautiful, serene, quite calm. The owners are kind and generous and they offered us a wine tasting at their winery. Breakfast is made to order at the exact moment which was superb and very tasty. Not much of didn't like, but downside of the location is no network (WiFi is available though).
There are only two rooms at the B&B, and they're adjacent, so maybe not very noise cancelling.
- Serhii (10/5): -
- nerida (9/5): Unique and historically fascinating accommodation with outstanding breakfast and wine tasting. - Most hospitable. Great cellar door tasting, top quality wines. Peter's breakfasts were delicious and the best presentation I have seen in a bed and breakfast.
Most interesting history with regards to the property, has been lovingly restored by Peter and his wife. Nothing to say
- Mark (9/5): This is a great stay for those wanting a relaxed, friendly stay that feels like visiting relatives. - This was a great stay - the history of the winery, the wine tasting, to the breakfast the next morning - all wonderful. Felt like we were staying with family. The breakfast was cooked to order and would rival the most expensive hotels! There were mosquitoes - of course, we were near a river! The room had a can of bug-spray though which was very considerate and thoughtful.
- Laura (10/5): - Wonderful relaxing spot, nice space to unwind in a very homely environment. Wonderful staff, food, and beautiful wines and landscape, we loved our time there.
- Thomas (9/5): -
- Matthew (10/5): - Breakfast was great and the garden location was beautiful. Peter and Caroline were great. Better signage to indicate which drive to enter when arriving would be helpful.
- Andrew (8/5): Peter was a very good host. - Nice atmosphere. Tuscan feel Outside areas not capitalising on the views
- Hamed (10/5): -
- Maria (10/5): Quiet, historic, romantic old - Historic, romantic charm, breakfast, staff, quiet and private with only 2 rooms, cellar and wine sampling Some general maintenance needed around the grounds for upkeep but still a nice spot
- Bob (10/5): - great peaceful location, staff / owner was exceptional, breakfast was brilliant
- Emily (10/5): -
- Jake (8/5): Great stay overall, but not a luxury stay. Met expectations but didn’t go above in beyond to warrant a rating above 8.5. - Very cool venue in a nice peaceful location and great breakfast! Paying extra for the fire.
- Nicole (9/5): Really beautiful place to find peace and quiet. Gorgeous furnishings, gracious hosts, quiet yesteryear charm. Highly rec - Beautiful building, incredibly comfortable bed, lovely view, lots of board games to relax with, little touches like drinks in the fridge. Hosts lovely and breakfast just amazing. A little hard to figure out where to enter and the fireplace was beautiful but not lit - being winter it would have been gorgeous to sit by the fire.
- Andrew (10/5): Great view, great room, great atmosphere, great breakfast and great wines. - Not only was the food amazing at breakfast. Also the view during breakfast added to the atmosphere. The wines in the tasting room were exceptional. It was also very convenient to have another winery across the road.
- Karren (10/5): - Absolutely amazing! The location and accommodation is beautiful, the wine was delicious and the hosts were lovely. They spare no expense and the cooked breakfast was the icing on a spectacular stay. Can’t recommend Tizzana Winery B & B enough!
- Olivia (10/5): Beautiful property would highly recommend. - Beautiful property, rooms and breakfast with excellent service. Nothing.
- Lauren (9/5): Beautiful breakfast and view - Voted beautifully with a great morning view over a lovely breakfast. Could have been a little cleaner. Had a bottle top and other rubbish left discarded on the bedside table. The doily on same table was filthy.
- Clare (10/5): Lovely old fashioned hospitality💝 -
- Ali (10/5): Very relaxing and memorable - I fascinated by the history of the winery. The room was well equipped. So quiet and peaceful place. Hospitality was memorable and professional. - Gull (8/5): Lovely place, out of the way. - Hosts were very friendly. Building and rooms were lovely. Comfy bed. Lovely breakfast with view across vineyards. Interesting, pleasant, 1 hours walk ( each way) down the road towards the ferry crossing. Organising the evening meal was a bit tricky as they are not set up for this ( not unreasonably ) but options are few and far between in the area. Nothing close. All a bit vague. Best to pack a picnic dinner or eat before you head out there.
- Walter (10/5): A very enjoyable, relaxed and peaceful stay. - Great breakfasts, lots of choice and very tasty. An excellent way to start the day.
- Duncan (8/5): Very good -

- Rodi (8/5): Very good - Great location with a rich history
- Margery (9/5): Excellent place for retreat and peaceful recuperation. I was fortunate to be the only guest so sharing common areas was - Beautifully appointed room.
Common lounge very comfortable with fire provided. Wonderful breakfast and excellent Ploughman’s Lunch in cellar. Difficult to access close national parks as few crossings across the Hawkesbury.
- Stephen (7/5): Good - Friendly host. Bit out of the way of things.
- Carolyn (10/5): Tizzana Winery Chillout - Tizzana Winery was a short 20 minute drive from Windsor NSW.
The hosts gave us a lovely wine tasting & a fabulous breakfast. There was plenty to read. Netflix was an unexpected bonus! The surrounding forest provided beautiful air to breathe in deeply.
We visited Ebenezer Church & the surrounding grounds, with a backdrop of the Hawkesbury River. We only stayed one night at Tizzana Winery, but we would have liked to stay for more.
We wanted to stop on our way back for a small bushwalk, but due to heavy rains recently & bad weather over the past year, most nearby National Parks & State Forests were closed for repairs. The area surrounding Tizzana Winery is so naturally beautiful that it would be good if NSW National Parks Service would prioritise keeping these areas accessible.
- Maria (9/5): A delightful place to stay to sample some wines and rejuvinate the soul! - We loved how spacious our bedroom was. Also it was great to have our own bathroom facilities. The best thing was the view from the windows and the hearty breakfast included. We also appreciated how quiet and tranquil the place is. Perhaps some maintenance on the garden can improve the outside.
- Claire (10/5): Breakfast is the cherry on top of a gorgeous overnight stay - Best breakfast in the world watching the rain fill up the river. The owners are such lovely people and we really enjoyed have a wine tasting at 4pm on a Sunday. Absolutely beautiful property and helpful staff to recommend dinner options. Delicious wines and lovely decor, it has a very relaxing ambiance. Driveway can be slippery when wet so be careful.
- Tashamartin (10/5): Our Getaway to a Winery - The Room was beautiful, bed was comfortable and room was spacious, well equipped with extra blankets, couches to sit on & a TV. Loved the Bathroom with the option of Bath and Shower. The Air Con and Fan was perfect and the entry was easy accessible directly to our room after parking.
My fave part was when we were served breakfast at the time of our choice: Fruit Platter, I got Scrambled Eggs & Bacon, Partner got Fried Eggs & Bacon, lastly finished with Toast. The Parking was abit confusing but luckily it wasn't packed or busy and had space for us.
- Mathieu (9/5): Superb -
- Scutts (10/5): Perfect - The whole property was brilliant, amazing atmosphere with views to match, the owners are the sweetest couple and the breakfast was perfect with a view to die for, highly recommend this place to anyone Absolutely nothing, it was perfect in every way
- Max (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joseph (3/5): Poor -
- Natalie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Scott (8/5): lovely historical house. hosts were superb. breakfast sensational - location is great. history of the place is fantastic. breakfast was superb gardens needed some attention they have been neglected no eateries close by.
- Sullivan (8/5): Very good - The quaint old worldly feel and the vista looking across the vines and water.
The hosts were a perfect combination of there when you need them, and not seen.
- Paul (1/5): Bad -
- Fiona (9/5): comfortable and peaceful - beautiful old building. terrific hosts . we had a lovely evening with the other couple booked, in the shared lounge. comfortable beds no dinner options very close. air conditioning in the room is a bit tricky- listen well to the brief on arrival
- Leanne (9/5): Superb -
- Andrew (10/5): - Unique and authentic setting, with absolute charm.
- Melissa (10/5): - Lovely relaxing short staycation
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This property has a great back story and a visit to the cellar door is well worth a visit. The owner was very helpful and went out of his way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. A quiet retreat, slightly off the beaten track. If you are looking for a comfortable place to wind down, this B & B has you covered.
- Georgina (10/5): Weekend 40+ degrees - a great place to chill! - We picked the weekend before Australia Day to have a quick get away! Due to the heat, we didn’t get the chance to enjoy any time in the lovely little courtyard!
The entry room is styled with large Chesterfield lounges, a small table & chair and ample supplies of CD’s, cards & board games with a table of local brochures for activities & eating options.
The Provincial Room was fabulous! Time has been taken to ensure that all your needs are met! The bed linens and bathroom towels were all fresh and clean & had the option of ‘ordering’ a different type of pillow! The bathroom amenities were ample with all sorts of items for your use!
This large room was nicely furnished and had a beautiful outlook over the valley and neighbouring vines! Tea & coffee facilities are in the room as well as full access to the breakfast area for additional supplies!
Saturday was a chill out in the room with a cool sunset drink and a small cheese board that you can order from the owners or supply your own!
Breakfast was amazing and all freshly prepared to order! Headed to the old Ebenezer church for Devonshire tea & finished the lazy Sunday afternoon with an hour in the winery for a delicious tasting!
Our hosts were friendly and very accommodating for all our meals and have a wide variety of options for you to order if you want to stay put - which we did! Way too hot out!
Worth noting is the wifi is fine but no mobile reception, so really a very lovely weekend away!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Amazing place and people I highly recommend this B&B
- alejandra (10/5): Spacious clean room with a big and comfy bed - We stayed at the rose room, we loved it, a nice big room with a really comfy and big bed. Room is really clean, the towels are nice and fresh, shower doesnt have much power but the bath tub is big and fills up really fast.
The breakfast is DELICIOUS !!!!! The owners are really friendly, in general we had a great stay, highly recommend it
- Lyn (10/5): - This is a beautiful old world B and B in a picturesque setting . Breakfast was great , served in a dining room looking out over the river and vineyards. Our Hosts were very helpful with knowledge of the local area.
- Maccas (10/5): - We loved everything about this property...stunning location, beautifully appointed rooms and really friendly service. We’ll definitely be going back again.
- SharronP (10/5): - Property was peaceful, and tranquill.
Amazing history, lovely wines.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Homely atmosphere. Loved the fire in the lounge area. Excellent breakfast. Home full of history and friendly owners.
- MRS JOANNE C (10/5): Great place to stay - My husband & I stayed here for 2 nights for a quiet break and we couldn't of asked for a better place to have that. It was quiet and a lovely place to stay. Carolyn & Peter were the perfect hosts and couldn't do enough for you. The breakfast was amazing so much to choose from. I would definitely stay here again when in the area or looking for that quiet break away. Keep up the good work guys
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Beautiful property, large room, modern bathroom. Terrific, friendly service, wonderful breakfasts (the best B&B breakfasts I've ever had). Will definitely return.
- Jaylene (10/5): - Very quiet place. Clean room and delicious breakfast.
- Kirsty (8/5): B&B in a lovely old historical building... - Tizzana was really lovely. Set on the side of a quiet road overlooking the vines and the river. The main sitting room and our room were very nicely appointed. Full breakfast in the morning. Lots of history to enjoy whilst in the area.
- Chris (10/5): - Tizzana takes its own place in the history of what is the most beautiful part of Sydney, and is a restful, gracious base for exploring. Our highlight was watching the bushland and the pond emerging out of the early morning mist, as we ate our delicious home-cooked breakfast. So glad we did the tasting too - we've been drinking the Clarissa and its is a lovely delicate wine - we'll be picking up a case next time!
- Hats (10/5): - What a beautiful little boutique B&B to stay in. Tizzana is an old winery, still operating as such and renovated really tastefully for B&B stays. There are only two rooms, both with ensuites and with a large lounge area as well. There is crockery and cutlery provided if you want to bring your own provisions, but no cooking facilities. Breakfast was wonderful in the little kitchenette with a lovely outlook over the vineyard and creek. A really great place to stay.
- Verified traveler (10/5): lovely setting - We only stayed overnight but had a lovely stay in a beautiful spot
- Grant (8/5): Great historic winery stay - Had a fabulous stay here for 2 nights. Owners are very accommodating, very friendly and provided loads of useful information as well as a deep insight into the history of this historic winery. Room very comfortable and the evening meal was superb and the wine made on site is amazing. Overall, a great stay and highly recommended although it is a bit out of the way and a car is essential to go anywhere.
- Karen (10/5): excellent - Great overnight stay. Wished we could have stayed longer. Lovely decorated rooms. Afternoon tea on arrival. Great breakfast. small - only 2 rooms. Great hosts
- Jac (10/5): Calm and peaceful location - Tizzana is a fabulous find. The room was lovely and extremely comfortable. Despite not intending to purchase wine, had to buy some as there were some excellent varieties - especially one Rose that was so distinct. Breakfast was just perfect and with an undisturbed view. I would definitely recommend this (but it's an adult venue) not the best for people with young kids.
- Ruth (10/5): Superb B&B in the Hawkesbury area - Peter made us feel very welcome immediately. The room is spacious and elegantly renovated. The breakfast was a feast - beautifully presented, generous options and a lovely outlook. Thoroughly recommended.
- Sherry (10/5): A quiet & beautiful setting - a little bit magical - Had 2 nights there - excellent everything. The breakfast is the best available anywhere.. service is perfect.. all over a lovely weekend and a little like being in Tuscany :)
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Fantastic breakfast! Beautiful views, and a super comfy bed.
- Chris (10/5): Great wines, great room! - Had a weekend here, tasted some wines. Was amazing, so peaceful and quiet! Great to escape for the weekend. Will be coming back for the bnb and the wines!
- Verified traveler (6/5): Out of the way, old style. - Very over priced and definitely not 5 star. The staff were grumpy and unwelcoming. The facilities were very lacking. If they were rated 3 star I'd have been happy, but paying a premium and expecting 5 stars I was extremely disappointed with what we found on arrival. If the staff were more friendly and accomodating it would have helped.
