- Pharist Beekoo (7/5): Just good stay for Darshan only!! - A good hotel with all the required facilities to stay. They have a travel desk which is really good at their work (major plus point). Location is okayish as you get rickshaw easily outside however the shopping and restaurants are far from here. I have travelled all over India during my trip and this is the only place where all my cards did't work. Plus menu in restaurant is spicy (sorry not all people like it spicy) which made it more difficult for us as I said about the location.

Lack of variety as mentioned above.

- Elsie (5/5): Costly.... - The beds were comfortable. Bathrooms clean although small. Towels clean and white too. Aircon good. The staff are the highlight - courteous, extremely helpful and quick to respond. Restaurant staff took good care as well. I had booked a deluxe room and got a good size room but unfortunately there was nothing to place my luggage on... while the ordinary rooms had a good luggage rack. Rooms are clean but the common areas are not immaculately clean....high footfall in this hotel means that the management needs to look into more specialized cleaning systems. Also due to volume of guests frequenting this hotel plates and juice bottles in the restaurant have been well used....wear and tear - time for replacement. For the costs they charge which is one of the highest in Rameswaram....they would do well to reinvest some of it in maintaining the premises.

The food is just ordinary and the restaurant staff keeps making rounds of the kitchen to fulfil anything you order, even in the buffet, but there is always a crisis. Nothing seems to be adequate amounts.

- Manoharan (4/5): I enjoyed my stay at Vinayaga , Kumbakonam (Two times) - Eventhough we paid Rs 6500 for 4 persons to stay for a night, we were denied complementary breakfast. That was a great disappointment. we were charged as not in the menu card Rs 200/ person, but they charged Rs 250 per person. Check in was also delayed . One room key was handed over to us after a huge delay. Check in delay could be avoided. Breakfast tariff should be collected as in the menu card. Complement breakfast should be given to all the guests without any excuse. These are all very minute discomforts I have faced during my stay. I appreciate the efforts and skill of peoples who are working in the reception and dining.

The hotel charged 3 times the normal rates though actually it offers a simple room facility of a run of the mill kind which qualifies for 2500/- per night rates and it charged us 9000/- per room. Below average bathroom fittings and linen. Booking . com should not allow them to charge any amount and de register it from the list as it is misleading .
