- Monique (7/5): Centrally located place to meet new people and with a great staff. - The staff was great, friendly and full of tips and information and always helping out when needed. Location is great. Superb breakfast. It is a great place to meet new people so if you are a young backpacker definitely stay here. The matresses in the triple room with private bedroom are very bad. Not only did we not sleep because of noise from other guests but also from barking dogs outside. The room could use some attention like fixing toilet seat, door knobs and wash basin tab but also a good cleaning. We are suffering from allergies and they were triggered non stop in the room.

- Claudia (9/5): Tres a Tanger - Nuestro viaje fue en familia tres mujeres solas, elegimos Bayt Alice Hostel, por sus comentarios positivos y la verdad superó nuestras expectativas, la comunicación previa con Nadir facilitó nuestra llegada, reservando con ellos el taxi de ida y vuelta al aeropuerto con un servicio honesto y seguro. Recuerda llevar el dinero en efectivo para pagar tu estadía, pagamos en euros a un cambio muy conveniente. Nadir habla español perfecto, francés, ingles y árabe y es muy resolutivo, servicial y amable, ante cualquier duda te ayuda a encontrar la mejor solución que se adapte a tus preferencias en tu estadía, recomendaciones de restaurante, Tour, taxi (puedes reservar con ellos) o traslados en bus, por ejemplo Chefchaouen hicimos el viaje en CTM, empresa de bus local, puntual y segura. Esta casa antigua de tres plantas, está llena de detalles y rincones curiosos, la terraza es la estrella donde puedes pasar tu tiempo con vista al mar, hay una cocina comunitaria y nevera, por la mañanas sirven un desayuno de pago muy tentador y hay café y te de menta gratis, muy cerca una panadería popular. La distribución de las habitaciones en las diferentes plantas hace que cada uno tenga su intimidad. La relación calidad precio es muy buena y la amabilidad supero nuestras expectativas. Para llegar al alojamiento, una vez te conoces el camino es muy facil, desde la plaza 9 avril , entras por la puerta Bad al Fahs, luego puerta Fendak Zraa, caminas hacia el Gran Café Central que será la referencia en el socco para luego buscar las calles internas que te dirigen a la casa. Nosotras usamos la app Organic Maps,que funciona sin tener datos descargas los mapas antes de viajar o con wifi y funciona super bien para saber donde estás, volvimos por la noche tarde y ningún problema, una ciudad muy sorprendentemente vivaz. No te pierdas los desayunos del Cafe Paris y las comidas del restaurante Bachir o 10 min caminando de la plaza 9 de avril en la ciudad nueva.

L'hébergement est confortable, la déco d'objets, photos et cartes hétéroclite est sympa et la terrasse est un bel endroit pour prendre thé ou café à disposition le matin. Bruyant lorsqu'on a une chambre sur la rue: des personnes stagnent sous la fenêtre et parlent jusque tard dans la nuit. Pas d'eau chaude le soir.

La ubicación me pareció insegura, está bien situado, pero para acceder hay que recorrer un laberinto de callejuelas estrechas en las que nos sentimos inseguros e incluso vimos gente drogándose en plena tarde. Por la noche no pudimos dormir porque, aunque cerramos las contraventanas y ventanas, se escuchaban peleas y gritos hasta las cuatro y media de la madrugada aproximadamente y era la noche del domingo al lunes.

Nella mia camera problema al sifone che sono sicuro verrà risolto e purtroppo (ma non dipende dalla struttura) il vociferare praticamente tutta la notte dalle viette intorno.

La maison est pleine de charme, avec une décoration soignée qui crée une ambiance unique. La terrasse offre une vue imprenable sur la mer, un vrai plaisir à tout moment de la journée. Le personnel est super gentil on a pu discuter avec et ils nous ont conseillé sur pleins de choses, ce qui nous a beaucoup aidé pour notre séjour. Frühstück auf der Dachterasse, gute Kommunikation und Hilfe beim Besorgen eines Taxis. Das Hochbett ist sehr hoch und die Leiter ist unbequem. Der angegebene Balkon ist nur ein kleiner Austritt. Auf der Straße ist es auch in der Nacht laut.

- Crocoji (8/5): Hostel qui a beaucoup de charme - Ancienne maison dans la médina transformée en hostel et qui a beaucoup de charme, avec une belle décoration. On se sent immédiatement chez soi. Les chambres, très propres, sont équipées de l'essentiel (douche, toilettes, très bon savon à la lavande, serviettes très propres). Literie un peu dure mais ce n'est pas grave car tout dépend des goûts. Un radiateur est à disposition et qui chauffe très bien pour les nuits fraîches en mars. Le propriétaire est très sympathique et de très bons conseils. Le petit déjeuner sur l'immense terrasse est bon et copieux. Enfin un service très utile : on peut changer ses euros au taux officiel, cela permet de ne pas perdre son temps pour aller dans un bureau de change. Je recommande cet hostel qui est très bien situé pour visiter la médina le souk ainsi que la kasbah d'où la vue sur la baie de Tanger est magnifique. Tout était très bien.

I travel abroad often, and have never been treated with more kindness than I did from the staff at Bayt Alice. I can't wait to return and stay there again. There's nothing I didn't like.
- Jessica (10/5): Nel cuore di Tangeri - Abbiamo trascorso tre notti in questo ostello nel cuore della Medina di Tangeri e l’esperienza è stata semplicemente indimenticabile. Il posto è bellissimo: curato nei dettagli, con un arredamento pieno di stile e carattere, camere e bagno impeccabilmente puliti e una terrazza panoramica meravigliosa da cui godersi l’atmosfera della città. La posizione è perfetta per vivere davvero Tangeri. Uscendo dalla porta ci si ritrova subito nel dedalo di vicoli e viuzze della Medina, dove è bellissimo perdersi e lasciarsi sorprendere. È stata un’esperienza immersiva e intensa, difficile persino da descrivere a parole. In soli tre giorni abbiamo vissuto emozioni che porteremo con noi per sempre: è stato davvero il viaggio della vita. Un ringraziamento speciale va a Nadi, che è stato straordinariamente gentile, disponibile e premuroso dall’inizio alla fine. Ha organizzato per noi il transfer dall’aeroporto sia all’arrivo che alla partenza, rendendo tutto semplice e senza stress. Ma soprattutto ha fatto qualcosa che non dimenticherò mai: su mia richiesta ha organizzato una piccola sorpresa di compleanno per il mio fidanzato. Non era assolutamente tenuto a farlo, eppure si è preso il tempo di andare apposta in pasticceria per prendere ciò che gli avevo chiesto. Un gesto di una gentilezza rara, ancora più significativo considerando che tutto questo è avvenuto durante il Ramadan. Davvero non ho parole per descrivere quanto abbiamo apprezzato la sua attenzione e la sua ospitalità. Ci siamo sentiti accolti con un calore autentico. Consiglierei questo posto a chiunque voglia vivere Tangeri in modo autentico. Non è solo un alloggio: è un’esperienza che resta nel cuore.

- Connor (8/5): Awesome vibe and views - The rooftop view was the best in Tangier, I'll never forget the sunsets we experienced from there, and the breakfasts were cheap and delicious. The staff were very welcoming and created a relaxed vibe throughout our stay. The location was terrible, almost impossible to find and Tangier is not the safest city so I found lots of scammers trying to direct us on the way, it was very hilly and overall stressful to get in and out of.

This riad is similar to a hostel, with private rooms (which we stayed in) and shared rooms for solo travellers. The terrace of the riad was a highlight - it was spacious and had comfortable places to sit and enjoy the view of the city. Bonus - there is a cat who lives on the roof! Our room was two twin beds rather than a queen, but we were aware of this when we booked.

- Hector (3/5): Incómoda. - La persona que nos atendió muy amable. Fue solo una noche, pero no fue agradable. Estaba muy escondido, huele mal la calle, daba sensación de peligro. La habitación no era agradable, camas incómodas, colchas con manchas de hongos y humedad, las toallas manchadas. Una de las camas estaba sobre el baño, pero no tenia techo solo tablas, lo que hace que al ducharse salga el vapor y se impregne la humedad en el colchón. El baño salía mal olor y el ruido entre habitaciones por los otros huéspedes y también de la calle.

- María (7/5): Buena ubicación, sencillo y correcto - Nos ha gustado mucho la ubicación y también las terrazas superiores con sus estupendas vistas. Lo peor es que se oye todo de habitación a habitación. Ha habido gente que ha llegado tarde por la noche hablando muy alto y nos ha despertado.

- Hortense (9/5): - Un établissement magnifique avec une superbe terrasse, très bien localisé. Nous étions sous le charme... ! L'accueil était parfait, merci pour tout ! Il faut garder en tête que se trouvant au coeur de la médina, le bruit est partie prenante de cette location et les murs entre les chambres ne sont pas toujours très épais mais c'est aussi le charme et l'authenticité de l'établissement.
- Anne (9/5): Fijne plek midden in de oude stad - Het voelt als een plek waar je oprecht welkom bent. Het personeel is vriendelijk, de inrichting is origineel en leuk samengesteld. Prachtig uitzicht vanaf het dakterras! Ik kom zeker terug! ??
- Danny (9/5): Welcome and happy stay - Even though we were delayed because of the flight they waited for us untill 1 at night to let us in. Clean rooms and really friendly staff. You could hear people in the hallway clearly. Luckily they notified everyone in this fact beforehand.

- Rodilla Rivas (9/5): Un hostal con alma viajera - El personal súper atento, nos dieron recomendaciones excelentes. El desayuno en la terraza totalmente recomendable. Está en pleno corazón de la medina pero en una calle estrecha, es fácil perderse.

- Mirta (10/5): Último día en Marruecos!! - Todo nos resultó acogedor, cómodo y agradable. Las instalaciones impecables, la atención del dueño excelente, el personal amable. La ubicación muy buena, con una hermosa vista desde la terraza, la que está muy bien acondicionada. (Y si te cuesta encontrar la ubicación por Google, la poli te acompaña hasta la puerta). Recomendable 100%• Todo me gustó.

- Karima (8/5): Bien - L’établissement est très bien situé, la terrasse est superbe et offre une très belle vue. Le personnel est très agréable et prêt à vous aider si besoin. Le matin café et thé sont servis gratuitement à volonté et une cuisine est à disposition 24h/24. L’établissement est très difficile à trouver même avec Google map. Les locaux vous proposeront tous de l’aide mais demanderont une pièce voir même un billet pour vous avoir accompagné 100 mètres. Il est mentionné que la réception est ouverte 24h/24 mais c’est faux donc si vous prévoyez d’arriver après 20h ou avant 8h du matin envoyez un message préalablement. Aussi il est mentionné que l’établissement prend la carte c’est aussi faux, seulement les espèces sont acceptés donc à prévoir en amont. Dernier détail si vous avez le sommeil léger la médina toute entière est à éviter car bruyant et très mal insonorisé.

- Nicole (10/5): Excellent accueil dans cette belle maison - Chambre des portraits : belles photos noir et blanc, confort et objets pleins d’âme. Terrasse au petit matin pour un thé tranquillou avec vue sur la ville et la mer. Super accueil de toute l’équipe , avec plein de conseils , très bon restau pas loin, taxi pour la gare trop facile, frigo et cuisine à disposition … organisation fluide et efficace !
