Guest Reviews
- Sharon (8/5): - A very comfortable 2 bedroom unit with 2 baths.
Liz was very helpful with suggestions about the area.
Overall very pleasant and very close to town.
- David J (10/5): Superb place to stay in Wanaka - Spacious well equipped apartment with huge deck and outstanding mountain views and wonderful hosts close at hand. Not in the centre of town but we preferred the quiet, the views and were fine with the 5 minute drive.
- John (10/5): - We had an extremely comfortable t bedroom studio. It was close to town and hiking. The kitchen was well stocked for light cooking
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Lovely place but would have been nice to use the spa as part of the package without paying extra.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Wonderful B&B with hosts that are pros. Room is comfortable. Breakfast was fabulous each morning!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - I spent 6 nights at Websters on Wanaka Lodge in their B&B in February 2019, and I could not have made a better choice. Liz and Neal are the perfect hosts, starting with accommodating my early check-in. My room was spacious and comfortable (complete with a wide pillow selection!), with a stunning mountain view. Liz set out a delicious continental breakfast every morning, with typically excellent Kiwi coffee brewed to order. Liz was also very helpful in recommending Wanaka activities and tours. They also offer free bicycle use. The B&B is small with only three guest rooms, which lends to a very intimate feeling. It is just a five minute drive to the town center, but it should be noted that it is a 30 minute walk, and the return is on a steady incline. A small price to pay however for this ideally situated and warm, welcoming accommodation!
- Leila (10/5): Best place to stay in Wanaka - It was wonderful staying at this lodge. We had a great time!
- kheng (10/5): Very nice - Highly recommend Webster on Wanaka.
Close enough to town to enjoy the conveniences and far enough to experience the real NZ.
Liz is a great host with helpful knowledge and cooks an awesome breakfast. The place is luxuriously furnished and so clean with lovely bed linen n towels and dressing gowns. The view from our balcony is beautiful and we enjoyed our cup of tea there.
Everything was just perfect !!
- Ben (10/5): Amazing - Stunning location, beautiful home and extremely helpful and friendly hosts. Breakfast is also very comprehensive and high quality. We will be back!
- Justin (10/5): Beautiful Spot in the Country - I don't think this quite comes across in the description, so to emphasize: this is a really charming B&B! Liz (and Neil, although we didn't meet him) have built a beautiful and thoughtful space, and Liz prepared a wonderful breakfast. We only stayed one night, but the local knowledge and amenities offered were still helpful. Location is a longish walk to town or an easy drive. Having a glass of wine on the patio was a nice end to the day, and the sunrises and sunsets are amazing. If you don't need/want to be right in the middle of town, this is a great choice.
- Jim (10/5): Charming Bed and Breakfast - My wife and I stayed at Websters 3 days for our 40th anniversary. The whole experience could not have been nicer. The owner, Megan, was so delightful. She helped us with activities during the day....her recommendations were spot on. Her breakfast meals were delicious! We would definitely come back!
- Graham (8/5): Quality and comfort - Welcoming and thoughtful hosts. Good breakfast. Very comfortable modern and well maintained property.
- weihan (10/5): Fantastic - We were upgraded to the Rob Roy room during our 3 night stay. Liz was very welcoming and made us feel at home. The room was spotlessly clean and had everything you would need from toiletries to hairdryer to ironing board. We loved the daily breakfast selection, especially the delicious croissants and bread baked by Liz! The complimentary laundry facilities were also major plus points. Would not hesitate to stay here again.
- Scott (8/5): Great place to Relax - wonderful outdoor space too - Stay was very comfortable. Unfortunately hot-tub was not working which was a big draw to booking but they were very nice and tried to fix.
- Susan (10/5): Beautiful B&B! - Liz met us upon arrival and showed us to our beautiful room. The location is a few minutes drive into town, beautiful view, and the property is exceptionally maintained. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfy. Definitely high standards at Websters. Breakfast was delicious. Liz made us dinner reservations in town, drove us to and from, and suggested some hiking trails in the area. I would definitely come back.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Friendly & luxurious B&B with beautiful view - Warm and friendly B&B. A beautiful place to relax with a delicious home cooked breakfast.
- Stuart (10/5): Wonderful b & b in Wanaka - Very comfortable accommodation just 5 minutes drive from Wanaka. Scrumptious breakfast with plenty of choice including a cooked selection and a varied continental.
