- Verified traveler (2/5): Worst place we stayed - Booker this hotel as a 1 night quick stop as it's close to the pier to get to phi phi. If coming from the airport don't expect anyone to know where it is, we took a taxi which we had no choice to at 2am which was 700baht They didn't know where it was and we spent 2 hours in the taxi driving around areas near the pier. Hotel has 24/7 check in I guess which is good, the hut outside had several locks on th doors which didn't seem to work very well. A giant bed which filled the entire hut with some red stains on, can only imagine this was fruit or blood I guess. The bathroom is basically a small cave with a shower on the wall, it looks pretty weird. My girlfriend absolutely hated it, the place had a dodgy feel as it's literally in the middle of nowhere. She didn't feel safe and I had to stay awake for the remainding 3-4 hours before our ferry so she could try and sleep a bit. Didn't have any food here, probably a good thing from what we experienced. Was really a swift stay before continuing on but after boat, plane taxi journeys this isn't a nice place to arrive at. Pay maybe a bit more or just stay further from the port and spend a bit more getting to the port of doing so. It's not worth it just to be that close.
