Guest Reviews
- Elaine (2/5): - Location Room was smoked in . Then the smoke was covered up with a strong perfume. Rooms were on the second floor. The stairs to the rooms were steep and not safe. The corridor to rooms were at a sever angle, making everything go to the edge. The tv remote did not work. There was a wayer drip in the tub and the tub was dirty.

- Susan (7/5): comfortable - Most things were to my satisfaction. I especially liked the staff, who were very helpful. It was easy to find, and very well lit at night. Wasn't pleased with dusty appliances in the room (AC, coffeemaker). This hotel advertises a continental breakfast, but only serves coffee.
- Barbara (4/5): -
- Lucille (7/5): It was fine - it could have been better with the suggestions above - convenience, easy access The refrigerator made a buzzing noise - interrupt sleep, the coffee in the room was not so good, at the office they could have milk and half and half instead of powdered creamer. Having some herbal tea would have been nice.
- Hinds (7/5): Very nice updates - The renovation/updates were great! Spacious room with all expected amenities. Love choice for a king bed. Much appreciate the pet friendly. On website and a printed pamphlet: "complimentary continental breakfast." Very disappointed, at 0800 hours on Monday, all there was available in the dining area was one Keurig machine.
- Susan (9/5): I definitely would stay there again - A quiet location Need more than 2 rolls of toilet paper.

- Kurt (8/5): -
- Lugo (1/5): - Bad experience
- Peter (5/5): -
- Jorge (10/5): 7 days - I like the people who work there food family Everything is good

- Daniel (10/5): -
- Jennifer (6/5): -
- Gary (8/5): ok - Drive up units no chair at the desk in the bedroom, I wanted a room that I could park in front of. Didn't get it.
- Marie (7/5): Ok - Did not stay for breakfast. The property is in need of some love.
- Judy (8/5): Was a nice quiet place to stay. Enjoyed our time there no issues whatsoever - Quiet location
Comfortable bed
Polite staff
- John (9/5): -
- Heather (3/5): -
- Michelle (5/5): - Shower controls need replacing. Hot water not always available
Not enough parking
- Gregory (1/5): Place is disgusting - Not a single thing Non smoking room smelled like stale smoke. Paint was flaking off the bathroom wall and ceiling. Tv didn’t work T first.
- Melisa (4/5): Just a place to sleep - overpriced, dated and smelly but location great w/ good cafe next door - The man at the front desk was exceptionally cordial and pleasant. Couldn't have been nicer. Location was great - just where we needed to be. Cafe across the street was convenient and walkable - great food. Room was dated, bedding horrible, bathtub stained, had a slight odor like someone smoked. Bed not comfy and TV difficult to figure out - old and antiquated. Mentioned a $25 PET FEE but never said it was PER NIGHT. Way overpriced for what you are getting. I expected a much cleaner and nicer room. Place needs revamped and redecorated in the decade of the 2000's. Place was completely booked for the Brimfield show. I'm sure others may have thought the same. For same price could have booked an Airbnb about 35 minutes away which I will do next time. Close proximity to show was what we opted for this year. The ole "you get what you pay for" applies here.
- carmen (1/5): Will not stay there again - Did not have breakfast there If housekeeping would have come around. Stood there 3 days I had to go to the office and ask for clean towels and toilet paper. I think if you're paying at least housekeeping should come around.
- Hoppa (6/5): -
- Denise (6/5): Great access to Old Sturbridge Village - Location: close to restaurants. The young man at the front counter was very nice and friendly. We all managed to see a bear cub run through the car park as we were checking in. Great access to the Old Sturbridge Village. The owners put out a certain amount of breakfast and if you turn up later, say, 8:30 nothing is topped up and there is nothing to eat. Bit slack. People pass that sort of thing on. So they don't do themselves any favours. Warning: we were unlucky enough to turn up the days the OLD Sturbridge Village was closed (Mon/Tues). Check their opening hours.
- Ofer (7/5): -
- Kenneth (8/5): A cheap place just to rest your head for an overnight - Price location Bed
- Liza (8/5): Gorgeous foliage in the area, Old Sturbridge Village was wonderful. - Convenient location to restaurants, shops. The lobby needs a little sprucing up, not very welcoming.
- Lauri (1/5): - Location was the only positive note. We had to check out in the middle of the night on our first night due to finding broken glass crack pipe in the bedding. The sheets weren't changed therefore no one realized it was under the sheet. There was also food in the fridge from someone else and public hair in the tub and on the toilet seat (in which didn't actually fit the toilet by several inches). When we called the desk, they switched us to another room that also had drug paraphernalia in the bedding and was also filthy. I have photos to prove everything above.
- david (9/5): - Shower disappointing...mold on the curtain & tile .was a little taken back by the "early check in fee" even tho it was only 10 minutes.
- Connor (8/5): - Location was AMAZING, literally around the corner from OSV and barely 5-7 min from several food options, Walmart, and a few other fun things to do. The staff was able to get us a first floor room, which helped a lot with access. The room was clean and spacious, and the ice machine was easy to get to, as was breakfast. There were not many options for breakfast, which is fine for a continental breakfast. Parking was also a small issue in the evening as the spots filled quickly, but we found somewhere to park.
- Tim (9/5): - convenient location room rate and not accepting cash
- Lisa (10/5): - Clean very nice staff air conditioning nice parking
- Nancy (2/5): - This place will only rob you of your bank account inside you a lot more money than what they said that they're going to do, I don't even have a shower they said that they were going to come and fix it and never did so I stayed here for 3 days without a shower and without TV
- Judy (8/5): -
- Chad (6/5): - Could use better bedding, and Pillows.. Room was spacious and clean.. Shower head partially clogged and the water wouldnt stay switched to the shower head properly.. But for a quick simple and affordable stay, it was ok..
- Becki (9/5): We would stay here again. It was clean and everyone was polite and kind - This property was close to everything and easy to find. Even being right on the main road it was quiet and the traffic wasn’t even a concern. When we checked in the gentleman was incredibly polite and attentive. Our room was ready and had very recently been cleaned. It smelled fresh and everything was as described in the hotels site. We had a kind sized bed which was comfortable and I a person who does not sleep well slept great. Coffee was ready in the main office first thing in the morning and I appreciated the fact that the staff was friendly even on a Sunday morning. I wish I had asked for another blanket but that’s minor because I do keep one in my car, so no real reason to ask.
- Betty (10/5): - Your everyday average motel but with standards
- Anthony (10/5): - It is close to interstate 90 & 84
- Janette (6/5): - Not much breakfast bar. Hot water machine quit working too.
- Kat (5/5): -
- Betty (2/5): - 3 Adulrs in room. Only gave us towels for 2. Bugs crawling around in room. No fresh batteries in remote. Couldn't change channels on TV. Beds very uncomfortable. Spent one night out of the two. Couldn't wait to leave.
- Dexter (8/5): - Awesome
- Brian (10/5): - Super friendly hosts. Perfect location for our trip. Very clean inside and out. Absolutely nothing.
- Kathi (2/5): - The
- Gail (2/5): Keep driving-don’t stop here. - Check in was a fiasco, even after I called to confirm my needs. It took three people 20 minutes each to figure out how to fix their mistake. Rooms were disgustingly dirty. Covers missing on outlets, cigarette burns on the bathtub, filthy shower, door was a mess with a big hole where the deadbolt should have been. Furniture had chunks missing, the freezer part of the mini fridge was dirty and full of stuck on frost. People were outside the doors drinking and partying all night. Person above me walked with heavy heels and never went to bed. Walls are super thin. You can clearly hear what others are saying.
- Ronda (6/5): - The night clerk was great. The morning clerk was…not.
Lot was noisy. Bed was clean. Water was hot. Breakfast was lacking.
- Marina (9/5): -
- Brendan (6/5): - Difficult to sleep with constant noise outside
- Seliger (7/5): - Staff tried cto be helpful Sign for property easy to miss.
Staff unsure about directions to get back on interstste. Sent me wrong way.
- Michael (10/5): - Great place for a couple night getaway
- Robert (8/5): Good value for the Price - Good service. Room was clean. Outside area was a little dated and could be cleaner. Breakfast O.K. Good coffee. Better than most.
- Audrey (10/5): - I have stayed at the Econo Lodge many times. When I return the staff remembers the room and location I prefer. The rooms are always clean and the property location is in a convenient location. I will continue to stay at the Econo lodge for future visits. 5 stars

- tabouno (8/5): -
- Allyson (8/5): Easy to find and great value for comfort and Locarno. - Breakfast and friendly service Nothing
- Ulises (10/5): - Quiet
- Angela (2/5): - The hotel room had a very strong bad odor
Very dirty, matress covers plastic & very dirty bed
- Kalyn Weber (1/5): -
- Peter (2/5): Do not go there - Will not get into detail but it was really really dirty pics will say enough
- liana (4/5): - The receptionist was unfriendly, the room smelled like old smoke and cleaning chemicals. Both of us allergic to the chemicals and needed to run the fan on full and keep the door open until we could breath correctly
- Brent (4/5): - There was noise outside my room from 1-2 am.
A young man calling himself the new owner behaved str
- Nikolas (9/5): -
- Maria (8/5): Quiet, relaxing stay. - Econo-lodge has a very lovely location on a hill. It is a little quiet and secluded. Also they have a really cool pancake making machine that my kids really liked!
- Laura (7/5): - großes, komfortables Zimmer Riecht nach kaltem Rauch
- Megan (1/5): It was crappy. - The way they run the place. First room they tried to give us was a mess and smelled like smoke. Then they put us on 2nd floor knowing it I'd to hard for us to climb stairs. Then our door key didn't work.
- Andre (10/5): - Room was spacious. Very clean. Enjoyed my stay there. Staff was very helpful even in the later hours of the evening.
- Theresa (6/5): - Just okay.
- Christine (8/5): - Everything was fine
- Debra (4/5): -
- Ronald (10/5): - It is an older hotel but you can tell a lot of work is done to it. Everything was bright, clean and working. The bed was comfortable and the area was pretty quiet. You get what you pay for here. I did enjoy that the room I had, had a mini fridge, seeing I bring up my own soda and snack etc.
- Rice (8/5): It was a great little stop on our trip - The staff was very helpful when I miss dated my booking The only thing was the pillows
- Debra (5/5): -
- Debra (4/5): -
- Aaron (6/5): - Room was clean, a/c noisy, food was stale, bread was semi hard
- Ronald (6/5): - It was a safe and quiet stay. Our room was a bit dingy, the sheets had stains. Towels, pillows, and face clothes were worn. Found lots of hairs in the shower. But it was a place to sleep after a long day.
- Paul (8/5): - Nice area. Hotel was secluded. Excellent value.
- Karyn (4/5): - They couldn’t find our reservation in their system. Found it eventually, but that was frustrating. The rooms have very thin walls (heard everything from other rooms) and beds are lumpy.
- Jillian (2/5): Not worth the price. Wont stay again - The room was dirty and smelled strong of smoke. I had to ask to move rooms due to broken and missing furniture. The bathroom and tub were very dirty.
- Christine (1/5): Overpriced for a really dirty motel - Nothing Dirty. In disrepair. Extremely outdated and broken furniture. Dirty curtains falling off fixture. Smelled of stale cigarette smoke
- Judy (1/5): Booking.com should look at my photos-if I could reach them. - Absolutely nothing Overflowing garbage, rotten wooden entrance, wet mattresses piled in and around a dumpster, unpaved parking area - I could not stay there, and asked booking.com for a refund. I was told that the proprietor would “try” to make “accommodations.” There apparently is no way to get through to booking.com’s “customer service.”
- Russell (8/5): - No frills
- Nancy (6/5): - Our original air flight was canceled so we weren't able to get to the property until after midnight. They had rented our room to someone else and spent a half hour getting another room ready. We were hoping to sleep in but early in the morning there were people standing right outside our window smoking and talking. Also trucks making noise as they left for the day.
- Karl (4/5): - Pictures online were deceptive.
Front desk worker could do nothing without talking on the phone, had to talk on the phone for check in.
- Al (9/5): - room and overall experience exceeded my expectations touch up some paint on walls and ceiling...easy fix
- Bob (10/5): - have stayed here for several years now. staff always very accommodating. will be back next year
- Joelle (6/5): - It was difficult to figure out where to pull into the property. Then, it was awkward to have 1 person wait on me and several watch. However, they were nice.
For the most part, the property is nice. The desk drawer kept sliding out and the bathroom door wouldn’t shut completely but it was clean which is more than I can say for the one we tried to stay at earlier today.
- Lake Eron Park (10/5): -
- Lake Eron Park (10/5): The happiness place in the universe! - Cleanliness. Staff. Very well appointed king bed room. No unpleasant odor. Large parking area. Really, the place was perfect. I'll definitely return to this motel. I'm from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and was passing through and picked a random Econo-Lodge. What a find. Spread the word.
Thanks to the staff in particular. They made my family feel super welcome.
Don... The place was perfect. One can not argue against perfect. Future customers will be amazed.
- Josh (6/5): - It’s a pretty old facility with a fresh coat of paint and some vinyl siding.
- michelle (4/5): - Staff was great but our room was not. It had peeling paint in the bathroom. Room was outdated and breakfast was not great either. Only one hot item which was pancakes. The price we paid was very high for only two nights.
- Rebecca (7/5): -
- Carolyn (1/5): NEVER AGAIN! - Not much other than the location Owners lied. Said they would refund a nights stay because I had to leave earlier than expected, after I called booking.com. When booking.com called them, they said it’s against their policy to refund any money. Also, the room was not upto date and smelled like cigarette smoke when I arrived.
- Joshua (3/5): Never again... - The gentleman at the desk was very friendly. The towels were clean and the sheets appeared clean. There was a cigarette burn in the tub, one of the beds was missing and replaced with a coffee table, which was very odd and the little shampoo and conditioner bottles were half used. I had to cover the handle of the hairdryer with a washcloth to use it because it was so scuzzy and dirty.
The light bulbs in the lamps were so bright that they hurt our eyes. The bed cover was old and the mattress was the worst, our backs were killing us by morning. We could hear our neighbors TV and the others above us load and clear.. Spend the extra $100-150 a night and stay somewhere else during the the Brimfield show. It was pretty dumpy. Last but not least there were also a pile of really gross old mattresses next to the dumpster as we were driving out. Charming.
