• rowan (4/5): Good location and some positives. But outweighed by negatives I’m afraid. We expected better. - Location is great. Walkable in 10 minutes from the station. Close to the UNESCO site too. Positives - comfy bed, good breakfast, big towels, quiet, location. Negatives- No bathroom door - it had been removed. I get that we need to adapt to other cultural norms but this wasn’t expected. Layout of the room was very odd too. The only light came from the bathroom which is next to windows and although these are frosted, it’s an uninterrupted view onto a grotty courtyard. Bed was tiny. No cups/mugs for the tea/coffee. We tried to change rooms but were told the hotel was completely full. Also told that some of the other rooms didn’t have bathroom doors either. For the price (and having such a good rating) we expected more. We weren’t helped by a company/property strike meaning breakfast was round the corner at a sister hotel.

• Fiona (5/5): - Great location. Easy to get from airport to the hotel with rail stop very close to hotel and hotel is very close to major shops & tourist attractions. Arrived during a strike of some hotel workers & was not notified in advance. Breakfast served in sister hotel round the corner because of this . Asked for a couple of bathroom items to be replaced/ toppedup but it took 3 requests over 2 days for this to be done. No recompense or good will gesture was offered to compensate for the impact of strike.

• Deborah (9/5): Lovely boutique hotel in a brilliant location - Hotel location was brilliant, right on the main mall, 2 mins from the light rail which was easy (and cheap) transport from the airport, 3 mins to main wharf area, 10 mins walk to the train station when it was time to leave. The hotel itself was a lovely small hotel with great facilities. Beds very comfortable. Bathroom great in the standard rooms. The bathroom in the suite we had was a little underwhelming but the size of the room made up for it. While there was a staff strike on during our two night stay the hotel did a terrific job managing with limited staff. We had our breakfast made available in their sister hotel which was delicious and got all the help and advice we needed.

O café é simplesmente maravilhoso, quase um almoço com salmão defumado, caviar, diversos pães, mingau, geleias, croissant, ovos, bacon etc. Vale muito a pena. A localização excelente e a cerca de 500m da estação de trem. As camas para o padrão brasileiro são muito moles, portanto pode desagradar a certas pessoas.

Ubekvemt med glassdører og glassvegger inn til og rundt badet. Null «privatliv» på do og bad, og full opplysning på rommet når man må på toalettet om natten, siden taklyset på badet jo skinner gjennom glassveggene. Forferdelige farger og dekor på rommet. Høylytt støy fra Torgalmenningen til klokka fire om natten.

• Sophie (10/5): Fabulous location, decor, facilities and the most friendly staff. - We were relocated to the sister hotel (hotel Olena) which is literally around the corner due to this hotel being closed. The Hotel Olena was fabulous- super clean, stylish, excellent breakfast, fantastic central location and the most friendly staff who could not do enough to make our family feel welcome (especially Henrique who was so kind to my young son who loves him!) Nothing- it was fabulous!

• Synnøve (7/5): Sentralt hotell - Veldig sentralt i Bergen by. Hyggelig resepsjonist. Litt dårlig lukt i resepsjon/inngangsparti. Og veldig varmt på rommet, ikkje mulig å skru varmen lenger ned.
• Elise groensdal (7/5): Perfekt plassering, fine rom, hyggelig personale i resepsjonen - hyggelig personale ved innsjekking og veldig hyggelig ved utsjekking, og opplyste at vi fikk 15%på parkering i kolstergarasjen. rommet var veldig fint og isolert, så veldig stille og rolig. veldig kult bad, og bra at vi kunne få åpne vinduet. kun 3 tv kanaler, og NRK var ikke heilt stabilt. frokosten var ikke av den beste, vi ser at folk har skrytet veldig av frokosten, men vi synes ikke den var ekstremt god, ka si det var en ok frokost. Det som irriterte mest var at to stk personale sto å pratet høylytt i frokostsalen så det ble ikke en avslappende frokost.

• Betty (10/5): It is a comfortable, colorfully decorated hotel in a great location with good amnenities. - Breakfast was very good, a lot of choices. The staffs were very friendly and helpful with directions and other questions. Super convinient location to shops, sightseeig places and boat rides and tourist information. It is located on a pedestrian wide street, nice to stroll along the road. Walk to the fish market.
