- Dennis (5/5): -
- Rudy (10/5): - Beautiful running creek right next to our cabin! The kids absolutely loved the experience.
- Sergey (10/5): -
- Heidi (6/5): - The bathroom was pretty. Besides that not too happy No microwave. No hot water one day. No daily maid service. The refrigerator made noise throughout the night. Very very loud when you walk
- Bryan (10/5): -
- Parisa (8/5): -
- Peter (6/5): -
- Jennifer (5/5): Not worth $399 per night - It was close to town. The room was run down and smelt moldy. The bathroom sink didnât work and the shower flooded every time you used it.
- Christopher (9/5): Great spot all the amenities that you will need in a remote location - Location Fireplace
- Glenn (7/5): Negligence
With the ice build up - Love the location and the included spa.. rooms have been updated since I last stayed there which was nice too The resort doesn't do anything about the ice build up around the cabins.. it's extremely icy đ„¶ and slick .. the build up around our cabin was several feet thick.. I'm amazed they don't have this taken care of.. I slipped onto my back one evening walking to the spa and the last morning we were there the guy below us slipped on the ice splitting his head open (blood everywhere) and had to go to hospital.. it's actually pretty crazy the negligence in this problem... Pretty sad đą
- Christopher (8/5): Great location good restaurant - Location Spa seemed a little dirty
- Debbie (4/5): Just okay place, nothing special. And you are on your own for any room services mainly. - Breakfast was just okay, coffee very bitter , tasted old. The room is clean but then when settle in, can see phone was filthy, and not working, blow dryer filthy. Shower didnât run hot water . Called maintenence, didnât speak much English, didnât understand problem. Figured out on our own, control installed reversed. Needed to run a long time to get hot water. Lots of âself serve â wasnât aware of, such as pick up fresh towels at front officeâŠ
- Stéphane (9/5): -
- Hilary (10/5): -
- Joshua (6/5): Spectacular views on and off the property. - The location was amazing. Views were spectacular. The room had a few issues. Shower pressure wasn't great, due to the nozzle leaking. A few of the windows blinds didn't work correctly. There was a hole in the water heater door due to a door stopper going through it. Still enjoyed the room.
- Kevin (6/5): Love the SPA area hate the beds. Won't stay again unless beds are fixed! - The SPA and location are great The beds in 117B are horrible. Worst I have ever encounterted. Please upgrade the mattresses.
- Raygoza (10/5): Great hotel, great views, and a relaxing spa. - The room was nice, and it was by the trout pond, which was absolutely beautiful at night. The spa was very relaxing after a day of snowboarding. We definitely plan on staying here again. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The men's steam room seemed not to work, but other than that, everything was perfect.
- LORENA (10/5): -
- Sandeep (7/5): Very comfortable overall, a few misses that hopefully they can fix for the next guest. - Accessibility and on-site restaurant No Hair dryer and fireplace didnât work
- Ronalyn M (4/5): The value for our stay was not worth it with the service received. - The spa and its workers were very friendly and attentive to the guests. The spa, pool, and gym were kept cleaned and offered nice amenities. The service from the front desk staff were lacking. When we had checked in there was no power due to an outage from a snow storm. The room temp was decent but when asking for extra blankets to get through the night with no power the guy said they were unable to do that. When i had told him we were traveling with our 11 month old daughter he then proceeded to go ahead and get us extra blankets. He did not want to walk out of the office to go get them at the other building i suppose. Sadly it also seemed he had some friends or maybe they are staff but all of them are laying cozy by the fire and did not bother to attend to guest staff. The restaurant was not always open on time due to the staff not being able to get onto the lodge. When asking for items from the front desk the answer was always unfortunately we do are out of so and so. I did not get a pack and pay as requested and apparently there is no lotion as well. would not return if this is the way they treat their guests.

- David (10/5): - chairs On my patio were all broken and worn out. Everything else was great.
- Eugenie (7/5): I felt a little dissapointed this time - Beautiful location Havenât been there for many years - suite were I stayed had some visible wear and tear
At the reception the young receptionist was professional to the point but missed the welcoming hospitality
- Roberta (10/5): - Perfect for the handicap angler,,lots of trout in the pond.
- Connie (7/5): Would stay again with earplugs - Nice complex. Restaurant convenient. Rooms not insulated. Could hear everything. Also no extra lock from inside
- David (9/5): -
- Emilie (10/5): - La chambre incroyable et l
Accueil au spa
- Curtis (10/5): -
- Mike (10/5): - the deck was next to a beautiful pond very relaxing
- candice (6/5): Staff - I was a bit disappointed in the staff. When the restaurant was not open for breakfast, I asked at the office and he said oh it should be thatâs it. I donât know if the restaurant ever opened. We went to a nearby cafĂ© and had a great breakfast. Our room was nice although itâs getting a bit worn.
- Thomas (8/5): -
- Jeanette (8/5): - Beautiful grounds and view from our room. Cozy, clean room. Great food at restaurant.
Disappointed that spa services were limited on weekdays. No facials or mani/pedis were available. Also the bathroomi in our cabin had no facecloths or any extra towels. I expected more for $300.
- Mark (8/5): - The grounds were well maintained and attractive. Pond with trout was a nice touch. Spa facility was very nice. Amber (?), Danielle, and Xerxes at spa, and Eva at restaurant were very friendly and helpful. Check in efficient, but not particularly helpful. We arrived early, and understood room might not be ready, but no offer to let us know if room available early. Phones in room (apparently all rooms) donât work; very difficult to communicate with front desk, restaurant, etc. - had to go through general number and get routed to location I wanted. Front desk guy not really that helpful.
Overall experience was very good, and I would be happy coming back.
- Judy (6/5): It could have been better if the staff had been more responsive. I asked to be compensated for our inconvenience, but t - This is probably the most beautiful setting in all of June Lake. Our toilet was clogged and we had difficulty getting staff to address the problem. Finally the last day someone came and snaked the drain. One morning I had to use the toilet in the restaurant. The cabins need an update. The gentleman before me in line checking out was complaining about a broken sofa bed and a noisy refrigerator which kept him awake at night.
- Julia (7/5): Wunderschön gelegen, Wald- und Bergfeeling pur. Allerdings etwas abgewohnt.
This kinda killed the vibes a little.
- SALVATORE (9/5): -
- Mary Jo (10/5): - This property is suitable for family or couples. Great outdoor space
- Kari (10/5): - Such a beautiful place! Will definitely come back!
- Anna (10/5): Great location and very friendly staff - Lovely, big clean rooms
- Jane (7/5): Good - Son loved fishing in the pond. Mosquitoes!!
- Kim (8/5): Very good -
- Vanessa (10/5): - The property is beautiful and such a pretty drive from June or Silver Lake. The restaurant was meh, but everything else was great. The views are incredible, and the pool/spa area was amazing!
- Jose (10/5): - Ama
- Deborah (7/5): We really love the area couldnât sleep people above us walking around room all night sounds are poun - The location was beautiful Better mattress more comfy chairs there was only one in our room wood to uncomfortable sitting on bed just wasnât right. we donât drink coffee and had nothing to heat water so we couldnât have our tea onđ There was an iron but no iron board đ
- Stephen (7/5): Lovely setting accommodation is a little outdated. Pool and spa great. -
- Ilya (8/5): It was nice. There are things to improve - Nice location, looks better in real life compared to the pictures online. Staff is mostly friendly. Breakfast was tasty but sadly not included in a reservation. Restaurant is in overall better than expected The gas fireplace in a room didnât work and was quite in a bad shape.
- Sophie (10/5): Memorable - Loved the facilities. Lovely staff Loved it all
- Deanna (10/5): Exceptional - The resort location at June Lake, ca was very easy to access and very beautiful with all the mountains and trees. My new favorite place for a family get a way
- Judith (6/5): Its complicated but gorgeous setting - spacious and beautiful; good restaurant on site; room with view. allowed our dog. room lacked microwave and table for eating- no balcony furniture at all, steep stairs to the room, no outdoor seating for restaurant. This was a very pricy resort room. we had just 1 night traveling and booked because we couldnt find anything else. should have called first.
- Andrew (2/5): - Shower broken. Water kept running
- Maria (10/5): - Took advantage of the reasonable price offered by Expedia. And super happy about our stay. The resort offered so much for our family trip. I have small children and they were super entertained and happy.
- Daniel (10/5): - The spa was excellent! Danielle is awesome. The facility is super clean. Massage tech Katie was the best I ever had! Hands down. Mac at the front seat was very accommodating and friendly. We will be back for sure! Thanks!
- Erik (9/5): Superb -
- Robin (10/5): We will be back!!! - Food and service were great! Room was comfortable. Spa beautiful. Views were awesome. Cute bar and again great service. Canât think of anything. Our purpose was to check out resort for future visits.
- Dennis (10/5): Overall it was amazing. Staff was great, restaurant had delicious food, location was perfect. I - Restaurant was amazing! Floors in our cabin were not swept when we checked in.
- Gonet (10/5): Exceptional -
- Cristina (8/5): Very good -
- Mark (10/5): Relaxing place with indoor pool and hot tub - Loved the indoor hot tub and pool. Skiied at June mountain nearby. Soaked in the Jacuzzi tub in the room after skiing. Quiet and quaint place.
- Susan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Justin (10/5): - Incredible spa and stay !
- Peeter (8/5): Very good -
- Christopher (9/5): Perfect spot with many amenities - Everything Kids swim time spa limitedâŠ.didnât know until it was too late
- Huyen-ha (9/5): Superb -
- Jonathan (9/5): Superb -
- Joon (7/5): Decent but not great because of staff and broken amenities - The pool was great We stayed in room 115A. The coffee maker had a mismatching carafe so I called and left a message asking for a new one. No one called back and no new carafe was brought. Also, there was a dirty t-shirt left in one of the drawers and the furnace / fireplace did not work.
Other ways the staff was unhelpful:
> The day before we were to drive up caltrans said there were road closures. When I called the front desk to ask for some specific guidance on which routes to take the kid responded with an, "oh, um... you should check caltrans."
> Happy hour times shown at lobby and was different than what was shown at bar. When we told the bartender that, she said, "oh yeah, it's like that been like that for a while."
> When checking out the front desk person was chatting with another person behind the front desk and just told us to leave our keys in the box. No questions about how our stay was or if we had a good time.
- Iris (10/5): - Strongly recommend this cozy beautiful place. I got the small room but it was big enough! Has a working spa bath tub that hit the spot. The restaurant had delicious food for a reasonable price too. Just be careful of the margarita, you definitely get your money worth on that one!
- Damien (6/5): This place is so pretty, walls/floors paper thin - Its my first time staying here, been coming to June lake for over a decade. It's beautiful spacious, and has a great feel to it.
My biggest gripe, the rooms. The floors and the walls are so thin and hollow. We had a downstairs room and every time the people above us walked, it sounded like an earthquake. At first I thought they were walking around with ski boots on, but at 3 am when someone got up to use the bathroom it startled our whole family, one of our kids even fell out of the bed. Even when they flushed it sounded like a water pipe burst in our room. The rooms are very much dated but I would have still given a great rating as we aren't picky about that. Water faucets leaked. The guests above us also decided that 5:30 am was a great time to get up before skiing, so most of us didn't sleep well after that either.
Pool was not very warm (not a huge deal I guess but my kids wouldn't go in). Oh kids are only allowed in the pool between certain times of the day 430-630 so after a day of skiing you have to hurry up and go swimming on an empty stomach in order to even get the opportunity to swim.
- Patricia (10/5): - Friendly front office and a large room
- John (10/5): Exceptional -
- Khin (6/5): It was a good vacation but my sisterâs room had no heater for one day and power outage for 1 night. They made a partial - Spa and location. We paid via booking.com including tax but after we checked out, the hotel charged us extra $26.73. We asked about the charges and said tax amount has increased âčïž every thing should be included when we made a reservation 4 months ago.
- Paige (9/5): A great stay! - The restaurant was great. We ate every meal there during our stay. The staff was wonderful... super friendly and kind.
- Richard (10/5): - Awesome mountain resort!
- Francis (10/5): Exceptional -
- Magallanes (6/5): Generally, resort appeared as if it was once a beautiful, well appointed resort, but is going downhill now. It appeared - Spa & massages were great.
Great facilities & front bar area
Supplies for showering & hairdrying/irons
In room kitchenette & refrigerator
Balcony/deck
Bed & bedding
Furniture in room
Restaurant beautifully decorated Very thin walls, heard everything from neighbors including conversations, thundering running & walking, doors slamming
Fixtures needed repairs: toilet paper roll holder falling off wall, toilet fan barely working, sink faucets leaking, kitchenette sink bowl too small & needed replacement, coffee packets bad quality, closet space too small/limited, no microwave, no fireplace, no balcony/deck furniture, in room telephone non functioning, not enough staffing for front desk, calls always go to voice messaging, poor restaurant staffing, restaurant menu limited, finally, charged more than expected due to sudden âincrease of taxesâ, without notification. Had to make 2 phone calls re: the extra charge.
- Deborah (6/5): Lovely location, service could be better - Been a regular here for NYE for 7 years . Things have changed since Covid as have many hotels. I reserved our room in May ( over the phone ) and requested a downstairs room for our old dog (16 stairs is too much for him) thought it was a done deal as it was 7 months in advance and there were plenty of rooms . Called in October to verify everything and was told there were no downstairs dog friendly rooms . I reminded them I booked in May and couldnât do an upstairs room with a 62lb dog . Was told â if you want a downstairs dog room youâll have to book different datesâ. Which I felt was very inconsiderate considering I was proactive throughout the process as a regular . I asked if they could bump someone else as it was still 2 months out and was told no. Not sure why. I said that wasnât fair as someone who has done nothing wrong , finally the manager gave me a non dog room as an exception ( which was nice I guess but still no real explanation as to why my original reservation request couldnât be honored ). I insisted they wave the pet fee as an accommodation, which after 3 follows up they did ($50).
Pros : The room itself is cozy , the large tubs are amazing . The view is unbeatable , the restaurant staff are lovely and food is great.
Cons: Carrying my dog up and down stairs multiple times a day was difficult abd detracted from the enjoyment. Walls are thin and you can hear all the kids tromping up and down stairs and housekeepers cleaning. Heat makes the room air very dry
- Challen (7/5): Beautiful location in high Sierras- a perfect getaway for adventurers. - The property location and design is beautiful- can't beat the quiet and views. Room was very spacious and the view from the balcony was outstanding. The service here was friendly and prompt. Restaurant was a decent option for a small town with few options, and very convenient. Would definitely return. The furniture in the room was "cabin aesthetic" but very uncomfortable. The desk chair was made of sticks and hard, not good for working at. Bed was ok, pillows were flat and cheap. The hygiene products were also cheap, and not good quality for a resort that calls itself a spa. I think they should invest in some comfortable furnishings and better products, and it would elevate guests' experiences.
- Carla (8/5): Very good - Spa, fitness center and pool were lovely. I was really disappointed that our request for rooms near each other was not honored (or even acknowledged-the front desk claimed they didn't receive it even though it was included in my booking.com reservation. It was really inconvenient to have to put on our snow boots to walk over to the next building and check in on our kids.
