Il est bruyant, mauvaises odeurs, vétusté des salles de bain. Climatisation non entretenue.... Personnel aimable, mais qui laisse une drôle d'impression...

Halls were a bit noisy and heard from early morning how cleaning ladies worked and talked outside the room. Everything else was perfect!

До всех основных достопримечательностей и старого города буквально 10-20 минут на такси за небольшие деньги. Можно дойти и пешком, но при такой стоимости такси, не совсем разумно тратить время, которого и так не хватает. Отель и персонал оставил приятные впечатления. По номеру единственное замечание, это душевая. После каждого принятия душа, вода разливается на половину ванной комнаты. Местоположение отеля не совсем удачное в плане кафе и перекусов. Кафе где можно поесть в округе практически нет и они в основном ориентированы на местных жителей. Поэтому чаще ужинали в старом городе. Или мы просто не смогли их найти.

• Tien (4/5): Very expensive for what you get. - Very good location (walking distance to the old town and the West Lake), very friendly staff but they could be more honest when checking in. Very dated thus it does not look very clean, especially bathrooms. Had two nights stay, booked very late with very short notice. At the beginning they gave me worse room (no view, two single beds) than what I had booked through the app (city view, double bed) without informing me during the check-in. I had to go back and complain about it. As a compensation, they promised to give me a better room (lake view, double bed) but only for the next day.

• DIDIER (7/5): Moyen - Situé à 20 mn à pied du vieux quartier d’Hanoi. La chambre était propre et la literie confortable. Le petit déjeuner était moyen (attention n’arrivez pas 1 mn après le fin de service de petit déjeuner à 9h30 on refusera de vous faire une omelette ou une soupe). Les chambres de derrière ne donnent pas sur la rue et le bruit de la circulation n’est donc pas audible. , La salle de bain mériterait quelques travaux de tuyauterie, MAIS SURTOUT, c’est avant tout un hôtel pour les groupes avec pour conséquences, moins d’attention personnalisée et des nuisances sonores par les clients dont certains vous empêchent de dormir. L’insonorisation de l’intérieur n’est par ailleurs pas au top. À éviter pour les voyageurs individuels

• Elena (2/5): Не стоит своих денег - Завтрак был нормальный. Внешний вид гостиницы симпатичный, весь 1 этаж красивый. Персонал старался загладить негатив, фрукты принесли и скидку на такси до аэропорта сделали. При заселении мест не оказалось, попросили отменить бронирование. Отмена была платной, предложили другой отель на 1 день, иначе деньги все равно спишутся, т.е. варианта просто уйти в другой отель бесплатно не было. Либо соглашаетесь на замену, либо теряете деньги по вине отеля! Была ночь, пришлось согласиться. Тот отель был хуже этого, на завтрак были не свежие фрукты, номер ужасный, туалет грязный. В этом отеле номер старый, мебель драная, кран весь в извести, унитаз не спускался... Но чистый. Вода из душа еле капала.Район хороший. на две звезды максимум, на 4 этот отель совсем не тянет. До этого останавливались в другой гостинице ханоя, район там был не очень, но гостиница хоть и дешевле, но намного лучше. А еще навязчиво предлагают изменить или удалить отзыв за компенсацию-думаю поэтому такой высокий рейтинг.

A wide range of services The food and beverage service is excellent. The two closely-spaced beds are a little uncomfortable at the junction, but otherwise everything's fine.

Due to the fact that a lot of guests were on tours and were only there for one night it could be very noisy early in the morning. Also if a large number were leaving at that time, breakfast was extremely busy.

• Donna (5/5): not as central as you might think - Breakfast was plentiful, lots of options, however quite bland. Standard buffet affair. Toast / soup / meats and omlette options. Coffee is good quality. Location wise you are close to the lake which was nice for an evening cocktail by the water. On Location, be aware this is slightly outside the 'Old Quarter' so many tours will not pick you up from this hotel, I had to walk to the tour company office for the 7:00am start, rather than being picked up like everyone else.

The beds were comfortable and the hotel is in a quieter part of town but still accessible to the old town. This was great for us having stayed right in the centre before where it was more noisy. Breakfast was limited and inconsistent.

• Dimitar (7/5): Good value for money for a night transit - Warm welcome Location Rooms are a bit worn, especially bathroom. Tv very small and very bad resolution. Few international channels but hard to see. Mini bar was not on so all times were warm. Bad coffee at bfst :( for Vietnamese coffee culture this was surprising.
• Xuan (10/5): Really nice hotel - We only stayed here one night. In Hanoi we stayed in a total of 4 hotels and this one was by far the best value for money. The breakfast is really good. The staff was nice. The room is big and spacious and the bathroom is really luxurious The area is unfortunately a bit far away from all the touristy spots. We chose to stay here one night to chill after a busy trip to Ha Giang but changed hotels the day after to get closer to city life. The placement is unfortunately a bit far from old town and a bit too far from west lake

• Verified traveler (4/5): Disappointing - I stayed here with a tour group twice. Location is out of the main tourist area. I found the staff to be less than helpful, which is unusual, and the restaurant food was very average which meant walking for dinner rather than being able to eat in the hotel. Lack of a bar or just anywhere to sit and chill was also disappointing given the limited stopover time we had.

• William H (10/5): Great stay at a great location. - Great room with comfortable (but squeeky) bed, large fridge, seating area & jetted tub. Great included breakfast. We stayed here after our Intrepid tour ended here and we were able to stay in the same upgraded room. Breakfast was great and within walking district to the old city. Front desk personel were very friendly and booked us massages at an outside spa where we paid only 1 way cab fare. The spa paid the other way. Only down side was leaking bathroom ceiling but drips went to the tub and cleaning crew didn't seem too concered about it so neither were we. Would stay here again.

The breakfast wasn't great either and we were also promised a plate of fresh fruit in the room which turned out to be 3 brown bananas! The room was very nice and clean and the rest of the facilities are good! It is a cheap hotel so it is fine for the price.
• Nikkole (4/5): Nice enough hotel, poor location and service. - Overall I wasn't very happy with my stay at the May De Ville. For starters, after confirming my airport pick-up several times no one showed up. When I called the hotel, no one spoke any English and could not help me. They asked me to email them, of which the email bounced several times. I had to find someone local to help me speak with them and eventually a car showed up. When I finally got to the hotel it was not near the market as is stated and I didn't feel like the neighborhood was safe. When I asked if it was safe to walk alone, the manager insisted it was ad that the market was 200m away. The market was a half mile walk through dark streets off of the main areas, which did not feel safe. When I returned to the hotel I could not find any staff and when I did none of them were in uniform and could not help me with any hotel questions. In addition to these concerns, I never saw anyone else staying at the hotel and I asked if I was the only person at the hotel. I pre-paid to multiple nights, but felt so uncomfortable that I checked out the next morning and moved to a hotel in the center of the Old Quarter.
• Ray (10/5): Superb - Absolutely faultless hotel. Great service, excellent decor, spotlessly clean. Highly recommend staying here rather than some of the dumps in the old quarter.
