Guest Reviews
- Emma (10/5): - Lovely stay, so comfortable. Very clean and very good bed. Lovely view of ocean.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Highly recommend. Spacious accommodation with glorious outlook. (..and the blueberries are delicious!)
- Scott (10/5): - Marilyn greeted us on a rather wet and miserable day to show us around the one bedroom apartment at the back of the main B & B. It features a large living area with TV cabinet, dining table, a very comfortable lounge and combustion fire that Marilyn hat lit and roaring in no time and stated that she likes to have it already lit for our arrival. (But we were early.) She took our order for breakfast and left us to make ourselves at home. She showed us where her house was if we needed anything but as we didn't, we did not see her again. Our 2 night stay had us blanketed in a thick fog the whole time which wasn't that bad a setting really with the fire burning. A humble kitchen that was well stocked. The bathroom and toilet appeared to be built/renovated by a handyman but was adequate. We enjoyed our stay and the breakfast supplied of eggs, bread to toast & juice was ample.
- Scott (10/5): Hospitality, views and a garden! - Greeted by the fantastic hostess who had the fire roaring for us, we looked down to the ocean before us and the absolutely fantastic garden around us and thought we were in paradise!
The freshly baked bread, homemade jam and bountiful supply of breakfast cereal confirmed it.
Only regret is we could only stay one night.
- eric (10/5): thanks - very good host was very helpful would recommend very quiet would stay again
- Lyn (10/5): Wonderful - We loved our stay at Blueberry B&B. Very quiet location, lovely home baked bread, great house, fantastic views across the fields to the ocean.
- Mark (10/5): Nice B and B - Nice clean unit, very peaceful and nice hosts
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The second time we have tried a B&B - very enjoyable.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Great Experience, very good location, Hospitality
- Verified traveler (8/5): Cute B&B - Cute B&B with great views.
Had a kitchenette and a washing machine which was very handy.
Not to far out of Burnie so perfect location
- James (10/5): Perfect introduction to tasmania - Great little bnb with friendly host and in a stunning location.
- Couples getaway (10/5): Quality Country Hospitality - We booked this as a last minute stop, and were welcomed by Marilyn with warmth and great service . To arrive with the fire already lit, and a comfortable bed, was a delight.
- Rod (8/5): - Lovely little house up in the hills behind Burnie in Tasmania. Ideal for a couple but not more as bed is in lounge area
- trip/tim (10/5): Beautiful owners with truely relaxing atmosphere - We thoroughly enjoyed the kindest hospitality from the owners. They were the most gentle natured. The accomodation was perfect for a cosy night, best bed ever. The room was massive for what we paid, with our first ever wood fire experience embeded in the room. Truely sensational. We wished we could stay a lill longer. Thank you !!
- Lorrie (8/5): Quaint with amazing views - We had a two night stay here and the views are amazing. The house is a bit stuck in the 80s, but real value for money. Renee and Marilyn were fabulous and we delivered fresh eggs, home made bread and home grown blueberries and apricots for breakfast - great. We also enjoyed fresh vegies from their garden which is a bit overgrown, but still productive. Don't expect 5 star, but a very homely place to stay.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Homely stay - Homely place to stay. Friendly welcome and generous accomodation. Delicious fresh produce apricots and blueberries provided in fridge. Best we've ever tasted. Felt like being home.
- Verified traveler (10/5): I'd stay there again. - Beautiful house. Friendly hosts. Lovely breakfast. Very relaxing & quiet.
- Neil (8/5): Comfortable B&B - Had a enjoyable one night stay. Hosts where very friendly and helpful. only downside a little out of Burnie, other than that very comfortable and plenty of space to spread out
- 101manda (8/5): Great place to relax with excellent facilities - Owners have made a welcoming warm place to stay in the middle of beautiful farm land. Excellent facilities and great breakfasts included. Only downsides were dog barking at night (but I'm a light sleeper at the best of times) and lack of wifi which meant we couldn't check out what to do in the area very easily.
- John (8/5): Quiet location close to Burnie - Nice homely feel with a lot of thought given to providing extras in room. Friendly and welcoming hosts.
